Name: Grim

Gender: Male

Age: Unknown. He killed himself at an unknown age and became a spirit, to which his age no longer mattered. But it is confirmed that he is much older than All For One as he often refers to the man as "child."

Birthday: Unknown

Height: 4'7 currently, but as his power increased his form will grow and change.

Hair Color: Black

Eye Color: White

Occupation: Villain

Affiliation: League of Villains

Family: None.

Appearance: He wears a black hoodie with a cap beneath it which hides his face from view. Black gloves, shorts, and stockings cover the rest of his body, and he wears black sneakers. The clothing has white designs on them. He doesn't carry a weapon as he has no need for them. He goes between this fit and another which simply consist of an oversized black cloak that almost dwarfs him.

Personality: Sadistic and Sassy. He's confident in his skills and openly challenges those who think they have authority over him. He's blunt and doesn't care for other's feelings except his own. Isn't one to help others if it doesn't benefit him in some way, and is very open when it comes to whether he dislikes or likes something or someone. If something interests him, he will study it and invest time into learning more about it until it doesn't anymore. Finds murder fun, and torture amusing. But, there is a part of him that goes against his motives and beliefs which he wishes to get rid of. After his death he got rid of this part of him, but because of AFO's scientists experiments he ended up regaining that detestable part of him.

This will be touched on more within the story~

Quirk: Reap. Allows him to expel the very energy that keeps the body alive, or in other words, souls, and absorb them, enriching his own. At first, when he was still alive and human, he only absorbed the lingering souls of the already dead to put them to rest through a painless and beautiful ritual. But after having enough of being tormented by the masses of people who could not understand his power and viewed him as a monster, he used this power on other humans, and that added to his lifespan. When he died and became a spirit himself, his power became much easier to access. But after he was destroyed and revived again, it became weaker, but there was also a change for the better.

In his age, quirks weren't the norm, and not many people had them. It wasn't until the glowing baby that they were even researched, and this was much after his time. Now that they are everywhere a difference in his power was noticed. By reaping their soul, he also reaps the part of it that is dedicated to a part of their Quirk. As it molds into his own soul, it becomes a pseudo form of it, which he can make stronger by reaping more souls. This is not like All For One in which he can take anything he wants, he can not take mutant quirks or quirks that are exceptionally weak, nor can he take quirks that are insanely powerful like All For One's or One For All. And if he does manage to eat that part of the soul but it manages to escape him, that does not mean that the quirk is stolen from the original owner.

Even if he fails in the reaping and the soul returns, whatever part he's already absorbed stays with him. The soul can recover what it's lost over time, but the after affects until then is that their body and Quirk won't function like normal. He can expel unwanted parts from his body, but the more embedded that part is the stronger he needs to be to get rid of it.

This particular fact about his quirk shall be touched on more in the story~

Drawbacks: When he took a human's soul he took all of the bad as well as the good, and that twisted his own soul until it became what it was now. He must be touching his target to expel their soul, and in that form they can actually touch and fight him off to get back in their body. As a soul himself, he can be hurt by other souls as they can be more powerful in their soul form than they were in their human form because the limits of the body do not apply.

Example: Izuku would not have to worry about breaking his limbs because he would not be in his body. He would essentially be the same as Grim in form temporarily, and although he wouldn't be able to destroy him completely, Izuku would be able to deal damage to him.

[A/N] I wanted to make it so that Grim was a very strong opponent, but that he wasn't nonsensically overpowered. Hopefully this drawback is enough to make it so he he's more balanced out in terms of power.

Fact 1: Because the League doesn't know about his drawbacks they have nothing to corner him with when it comes to negotiating with him. He may cooperate with them, but he keeps them at a distance and completely at his will due to the fact that they have little to no information about who and what he truly is.

Fact 2: He is like a very subdued version of Twice when it comes to his personality. The darker sides of his persona are usually dominant, but he has moments when he isn't a sadistic, murder happy sass machine. This part of him is what he wishes to get rid of.

Fact 3: It is a natural phenomenon that whenever he is present the temperature drops. Perks of being a ghost.

Fact 4: His disembodied voice is not a quirk, but more of a species trait. He loves messing with people with it.

Current Acquired Skills:

Demon's Maw (Random Victim)

His mouth. Outfitted with grotesque, sharp teeth like that of a vicious beast, this feature is able to disappear and reappear whenever he wants it to. It can also detached from his body as a weapon due to it's previous nature of being a separate entity (A manifested beast). It allows him to eat larger quantities than he was used to.

Drawback: None, although when speaking with it his voice matches with the presumable age of his body.

Demon's Touch (Shigaraki Tomura)

His touch is erosive, it activates quicker and spreads from his touch like a corrosive poison. Being touched by him is already detrimental to one's health because he is an evil, malicious spirit. This new ability just gives this a more fast acting, physical manifestation of that fact. He touches what normally can not be touched, thus the damage he deals can't be solved via normal methods.

The body can heal with help such as Recovery Girl or any other healing quirk and medicines, but the soul can only be healed with time and or a special kind of energy that can directly connect to it (hint hint).

Drawback: Not very effective on objects as Shigaraki's is, but is very effective on people as it causes immense pain and is much faster spreading than his is.

Personal Portal (Kurogiri)

He is able to warp himself into any location within a certain radius around him. This couples with his natural movement ability, as he is able to float so to speak.

Drawback: He can only transport himself, and the distance is limited to a short distance unlike Kurogiri, who can go anywhere he's been before.

[A/N] So, what do you think? Did I succeed in making a strong character that isn't overly powerful? Is he balanced enough? Hopefully next Tuesday I shall have chapters ready to go. Until then!
