I DREAM OF RAINBOWS
Disclaimer: The Cullen's, the Swans, and most of the characters mentioned in the story that are known from Stephanie Meyer's beloved Twilight Saga, are all hers and hers alone. I neither have nor wish to pass them off as mine. I do appreciate the fact that she did bring them to life and allows us to play with them in our imaginations. The only thing I will claim is the current storyline.

Bella went to bed that night, but all that Charlie had said kept running through her mind. Because of that she kept tossing and turning all through the night. But the next morning she had decided to say goodbye to Charlie and headed back home to pack for her return to L. A.
CHAPTER 60: WILL HIS PLAN WORK OR BACKFIRE?
Bella was sitting, thinking about all that had been happening in the last six weeks since she had returned to Los Angeles after her trip to New York. It seemed that she hadn't had a moment to herself. If her time wasn't being taken up with working with Emmett, then she was going out with Edward, and she had made two trips back to Seattle for business reasons.
Time had moved swiftly, so swiftly that it takes Bella's breath away just thinking about how fast she and Edward had fallen into an exclusive relationship. The relationship that he had declared that he wanted with only her.
She was a bit worried about why, out of the blue, he would declare that he wanted their relationship to be exclusive and did try to question him about it. However, all he would say was that he hadn't felt for anyone else what he felt for her.
The one thing she was learning about Edward was the fact that he could be very possessive. That trait troubled her to a certain extent and gave her cause for caution when she had dealings with him more on the personal level than on the business side of things. Although, she could honestly say that Edward hadn't done anything that seemed to be the least bit threatening toward her so far.
He also still acted like he knew better about things than she did. That situation led to the both of them having words on more than one occasion more privately, but from time to time they disagreed in public. He didn't say that she was wrong about anything, but he didn't ask for her opinion either.
It was now time for the move to location filming and Bella was getting ready to leave with Alice and Rosalie. The three cousins had decided to make the trip together. It was planned that they would be meeting Emmett and the rest of the filming crew in three days when everything was already set up. The cousins were wanting to spend a little time together before Bella had to go back to Seattle.
Bella didn't know that Edward was planning to meet her in Seattle for the few days that she was going to be at her home. It was during this time that he was planning to make his move to see if just one time with her would scratch that itch that he had for this woman. He was seeking proof that once he had had her then he would be free to move on to the next conquest that happened to catch his eye. However, at the same time the thought was running through his mind that he was only fooling himself. Why he would think that he couldn't exactly explain to himself.
Edward did wonder from time to time if the actions he was taking were the right ones. He didn't take the time to reason out what the consequences might be to himself or to others if he continued to move along the path that he was following at the moment.
The one thing that he was positive about was that if Bella had any idea what his actions were about to be then she would have his ass along with his balls. As that thought crossed his mind, he reached down to cover his manhood without realizing what he was doing.
Edward knew that he was having a wonderful time with Bella, and he was determined to enjoy their relaxed relationship for as long as he could. He knew that his actions in the next few days were going to be the deciding factor in how their future interactions toward each other would be affected
Each time the two of them got together the sexual tension was extremely heavy. He knew that he wasn't sure how much longer he could control himself as each time they were together it was becoming more difficult not to follow through with what his body was demanding of him as well as his desire to conquer the lady in question. And, he was sure, if he was reading the signs correctly, Bella was having the same sort of problem, however she seemed to be managing the matter more successfully.
That was why he had made up his mind that he would go to Seattle so he and Bella could have the time alone without any possibility of interruption from family members or friends.
Edward knew that he was going to have to give more than he normally would in any of his past sexual adventures when he finally got to fuck Bella. She wouldn't stand by and accept being the giver and not receive any pleasure in return. That was one thing that he knew for sure. In the past Edward had been able to receive more pleasure than he gave, but his partner at the time did have a certain amount of pleasure returned. It just didn't require a great deal of effect from him to give them satisfaction.
So, with all of these thoughts being acknowledged in his mind, Edward continued to make his plans and to get ready for going to Seattle while he was subduing the twinge that his conscious was giving him every so often.
He was letting it be known that he would be out of the office for a few days on a business trip and was making sure that everything that needed to be done before he left was handled.

Bella, Alice and Rosalie were all looking forward to spending some quality time together while they had the chance. All three really enjoyed working together on a project for a change, but the time was fast approaching that Bella's contributions were no longer necessary.
Her part of the contract she had signed was nearly completed. She had wanted to be able to approve how the storyline was going to be handled and Emmett had done a wonderful job of following through with things.
She had wanted to approve of who would be the lead actors and how they would be presenting the main characters of the story and that had been handled. Rosalie was the female lead, and the male lead was uniquely qualified. She couldn't have been happier about Emmett's choices.
Emmett had agreed to contact Bella if any major changes needed to be made to the script to see if she had any suggestions or if the changes he made met with her approval, but he mentioned that he didn't see that would be happening. So, Bella was happy to be returning home after checking out the location site which would be in Vancouver Canada.
And the fact that Alice was managing the costume designs for the movie had made Bella and Rosalie happy but had put Alice into seventh heaven.
So, far it had been nothing but work for everyone, both before and after Bella had returned from New York.
Personally, the relationship between Edward and Bella was progressing at a faster rate than anyone had expected, but Bella was still holding herself in reserve because of worrying about whether Edward had really changed or had an ulterior motive for what he was doing.
Bella didn't regret the time spent with Edward, but she didn't want to take a chance on being just another conquest to him either. If he couldn't commit to a solid relationship that was just the two of them then she didn't want to risk the hurt that she knew would arise from that sort of disappointment if she gave her everything to him and it wasn't returned by him in full.
The three women were planning to drive to Seattle. That would allow Bella to check up on things at her home and with her agent. Then the three of them would drive to Forks to visit with Charlie for a bit before all three continuing on to Vancouver.
Bella would only be at the location site for a few days before returning to Seattle while leaving Alice and Rosalie behind.

Edward was aware of Bella holding herself back in reserve and he knew that it all had to do with trust. Her trusting him enough to be able to let herself go without any reservations regarding the outcome of being with him in a relationship; in a more intimate relationship that is.
Emmett had given him a listing and the timetable of when everyone would be at the location site. That way Edward was able to plan when he should arrive in Seattle. It was his intention to be in Seattle before Bella returned from Vancouver. By doing things in that order, it wouldn't look as if he were following Bella, it would appear that he had to be in Seattle for business reasons.

"Well, Ladies, are we ready to get on the road?" Bella asked as she got behind the steering wheel of the SUV they had rented. It was felt that they would need that large of a vehicle because of the amount of luggage that Alice and Rosalie were needing to take for their stay in Vancouver.
Bella was going to start out driving and then it would change over to one of the other two. Each woman would be taking a turn driving so the other two could rest. They wanted to drive straight through to Seattle, so no time was lost with nightly layovers.
They had it worked out that each one of them would drive a total of six hours since it was only an eighteen-hour drive from Los Angeles to Seattle. The drive shouldn't be too hard on any one of them by doing things that way.
The conversation and the laughter that existed in the vehicle was relaxing for all of them. Even when the conversation turned to the more serious subjects such as each cousin's love life the atmosphere was still relaxed without causing any great stress. Even Bella didn't stress over the questions and the opinions that were offered about hers and Edward's strange relationship.
The entire drive was considered to be an enjoyable time by each of them.
Arriving in Seattle Bella asked if Alice and Rosalie wanted to stay at her house to which the reply was no, they had made reservations at a hotel downtown before leaving. And when Bella had asked why, Alice replied, "Because we'll be closer to the shops."
With that comment all Bella could do was just chuckle. She knew that her two cousins were indeed shopaholics, so it was no surprise when she replied, "How stupid of me not to consider that. All right, you two have fun before getting back to work. But one question remains as to when are you wanting to go to Forks to visit with Charlie?"
"I think we should go shortly after Alice and I get checked into our rooms. That way we can get in a few hours with a visit and an overnight stay there then return for our shopping trip while you are taking care of whatever it is that you need to do, Bella." Rosalie suggested.
"I'm in agreement. How about you Alice?" Bella said and then asked Alice for her vote to the suggestion.
"It sounds like we have a plan." Alice gave her approval to Rosalie's idea.
So, since everyone was in total agreement their itinerary was completely in place.

Edward was extremely satisfied with himself; all of his plans were falling into place without a single hitch. No one had a clue as to the real purpose of Edward's visit to Seattle since he would be waiting until Bella was on location with everyone else before his arrival.
Once Bella returned to Seattle then he would contact her to arrange a meeting with her, or rather a date. He is anticipating the ending of the night once it was near time to draw the evening to an end. However, he knew how the evening was going to end this time. He wasn't going to give her any options.
And, with that thought, Edward couldn't help but smile to himself as a picture of how his plans would go passed through his mind.
A/N: Has Edward changed or is he still the same old dick as he was in the beginning? Maybe things aren't going to work in the exact manner that he is hoping? Will Bella be foolish enough to allow him to have things going completely his way?
