-Centuries Ago; Airedale Village-
It had been summers eve among the small village. Many of the elves and humans staying within the village had enjoyed the company of others as many of family and friends had been watching the fireflies glow with the twilight sky as they could hear the birds singing.
It had been especially lively in a small house that had been in the center square of the village.
A familiar little silver haired girl snuck into the kitchen; accompanying her had been a baby raptor, three children that looked to have animal parts on them, triplet witches and a little elf boy who looked to have a nervous look on his face. Along with the boy was a beautiful blue colored baby duck that sat on his head.
"There it is!" The little silver haired girl-Prism had whispered, pointing to a plate of pastries that had been on the table as some of the spirits sat on her shoulder, "The sweet treats!"
"Oh boy!" Little Aisling said as her mouth watered, "It's Aunties specialty!"
"They smell so good!" A young boy with a dog's tail-Brenin said as he had been in awe.
"Just wait till you try them!" Prism whispered, "They're SO yummy! It's like a rainbow of flavor!"
The little boy-Pluck had said nervously, "I don't know...we shouldn't take these, what if we spoil our dinner?"
"Don't worry Plu-Plu-" Prism said, "-We're just gonna help ourselves to one."
"Chirp, chirp!" Little Addeline had said.
"Having one isn't going to kill us!" The little boy with blue wolf ears-Liam said as he stuck out his tongue, "Don't try to scare us!"
"Chirp!" Little Addeline exclaimed.
Prism soon shushed them, before she moved ahead of the group. The baby raptor, Adrien let out a squawk as he followed close behind her. She crawled underneath the table as she had been on tiptoes. She went to reach for the parfetts that had been on the plate.
"Hang on!" Little Aine said as she went to give her a boast. She lifted her so that she had been sitting on shoulders; they nearly had lost their balance though they were quick to maintain it.
"Thanks Ai." Prism said as she adjusted herself.
"Grab the red jelly ones!" Little Aidan whispered.
Prism gave a thumbs up, before she looked at the parfetts. Licking her lips she grabbed ones that had blueberries, strawberries, purple jellies; eating one or two in the process. She soon spotted ones filled with red jelly; though before she could grab a hold of it-
"Lookie here-I think a couple of mice snuck into the kitchen."
Prism froze up as she looked over her shoulder as she could see a familiar man leaning against the doorway that lead outside. He looked to be in his late thirties as he had been wearing a dark gray hakama jacket that had fur cuffs around the sleeves that revealed his shoulders. He had been wearing a set of dark brown pants, with black boots. He had blue straps wrapped around his arms as he had on a set of dark blue gloves. His hair had been that of white and had a set of yellow eyes as his ears looked pointed. Upon his head he had on a black gamblers hat that had given him a menacing sort of look.
He had a shark tooth-like grin, as he had a scar on the right side of his corner lip as he had been leaning against the door frame.
"Uh oh-" Prism said fearfully as she noticed the man's aura. Even some of the spirits shrunk.
"Well now-" The man said, as he pushed himself off the doorframe, "-We can't have the mice in the kitchen, now can we?"
"W-what do we do?" Aisling asked as she shook.
Pluck just stood there before he shouted "RUN AWAY!"
"CHIRP!" Little Addeline exclaimed as she flapped her little wings.
The kids let out a shriek as they started to run and scattered in the kitchen. The man only chuckled, before he ran after the one closest to him., which had been little Prism as she had dropped the parfetts; though her hands had been stained with jelly.
"Head to the fort!" Prism exclaimed, "It's our only chance!"
Pluck had shouted as he held little Addeline, "HE WON'T FIND US THERE!"
Prism didn't have time to react as she could only shriek when the man's arms engulfed around her as he pulled her to him. "Oh no!" The little girl with ram ears-Saorise had exclaimed, "He's got Prism!"
"Forget me!" Little Prism said, as the man picked her up, "Just tell mommy and daddy I love them!"
The man soon gave another laugh, as the kids watched in horror. "Thank you for my bountiful meal!" The man said menacingly, "Time to dig in!"
The man opened his mouth as he was ready to bite down as the others couldn't help let out a panic scream. However-
"PPPPPPFFFFFFFFFFBBBBBBBTTTTTTTT!"
Prism let out a series of laughs as the man had been blowing a raspberry against her cheek, as she couldn't keep up the charade. "N-No! Stop!" Prism pleaded as she laughed, while the man sat on his knees as he held her. "Me-Mercy!"
"Oh no! We lost her!" Pluck exclaimed, before he held up a wooden sword, "VENGEANCE!"
He charged at the man as he had pretended to be knocked over. "Agh!" The man cried out as he pretended to be agony as he dragged Prism down with him as she shrieked before laughing. "Curse you Barbados!"
"All right Pluck!" Aine said.
"THREE CHEERS FOR PLUCK!" Aidan added.
"Chirp!" Addeline cheered.
"CHARGE!" Brenin, Liam and Saorise shouted before they jumped onto the man. The Triple A's followed suit as they let out a war cry.
"How dare you!" The man said, as he had been overdramatic, as the kids pretended to hit him, "Have you no honor!? You're beating a man when he's down!"
"We protect our own!" Aisling said
Pluck had added as he held his wooden sword in the air, "For Prism!"
"Yes! Avenge me!" Prism cheered.
Soon, a woman who appeared in her 30s with long frizzy jet black hair, dark complexion wearing a white long skirt and bright green blouse and blue hakama jacket, had a beauty mark on her right cheek. She let out a shout, "WHAT IS GOING ON?!" The kids flinched as they shrunk a little.
"Gooden, I'm afraid I had been outnumbered." The man said as he had reached out, "Dictate my will. I'm giving it all to Zeus."
Gooden groaned as she said, "Seriously Nolan-that game again?"
"What?" The man-Nolan said innocently as he sat up as Prism slid on his lap, "Kids like to play."
Gooden soon took notice of what's going on, and Prism's hands and cheeks were stained with jelly. Gooden had said with a huff, "You kids realize you're gonna spoil your dinner if you have dessert now...right?"
The kids flinched before they said, "She caught on."
"So-Sorry Auntie Go." Prism said as she twiddled her thumbs; some of the spirits started to like her cheeks, "But we got really hungry and Brenin, Saorise, and Liam never tried your paraffries before."
"While I'm glad you got to try my parfetts" Gooden said. "You'll get a tummy ache if you have too many. At least save them till after dinner." She soon gestured to the stairs, "Now go wash up and help me set the table."
"Yes Auntie Go!" The Triple A's and the Familiars said as they proceeded to go up the stairs.
"Pluck, give me your toy sword." Gooden said before Pluck could go up, "Your mom doesn't like you carrying it around in the house."
Pluck couldn't help but argue, "But she and pa always carry it with them at all times! Why can't I?"
"Chirp!" Little Addeline said.
"Now young man." Gooden said a bit more firmly. "You know you'll poke someone's eye out if you go waving it around."
Pluck could only pout as he said, "Oh bother." He soon gave the toy sword to Gooden.
Gooden soon turned to Little Addeline as she added, "You too Little Addeline, you'll hurt someone with that stick."
"CHIRP!" Addeline exclaimed. Gooden only gave her a look, which made Addeline give in. With a huff she handed over her stick before she waddled up the stairs with Pluck.
She soon turned to Nolan as she gave him a look, "Did you HAVE to encourage them?
"Come on Gooden." Nolan said as he hugged Prism, "They're just kids. They just want to have a little fun."
Gooden told him, hands crossed, "You're a bad influence on kids, you know that?"
"That's not true, Uncle Nolan is fun!" Prism said as Adrien had been licking her sticky fingers making her giggle.
"If fun meant encouraging their chaotic behavior, I'm afraid what would the opposite be." Gooden said, "Now go wash up with the others."
Prism couldn't help but pout, but was taken back as she felt Nolan pat her head. "Aw, cheer up my little Trouble Monkey." Nolan said as he picked her up, "Gooden ain't exactly the type of person that doesn't know how to have fun."
"THAT'S A LIE!" Gooden shouted as her face turned red.
"That's too bad-" Prism said, "-She should learn to have fun like you Uncle Nolan!"
Nolan chuckled, "Thanks sweetie. Now let's get rid of these sticky cheeks and hands before I think about eating them."
Prism laughed at this as Adrien let out a squawk, "You can't do that!"
"Oh yeah?" Nolan said before he pretended to gnaw at her making her laugh again, "Mmmmmm! I love the taste of Princesses in the morning!"
"Nooo!" Prism cried over dramatically.
Gooden watched as the two went up the stairs as he continued his gestures to Prism. Though she smiled as she couldn't help but shake her head, "honestly… He spoils her way too much. More so then her parents."

Two days had passed as everything seemed to have settled down rather quickly. It had been quiet in the safehouse as William, Yami and Jack didn't have much to worry about since the encounter with the Pack. Though some of the others had been taking it easy.
That is… Except for Prism.
She had been sitting at the table that was available in the kitchen as she had a mountain of paper and books as she had been banging her head on the table in frustration. The little spirits had been sitting on top of the books as some of them had been a dark shade of yellow as she groaned.
The little Devil Theodore had been rolling around in the papers as he had been making paper angels. Adrien had been asleep, as his head had been under the table; Prism had been using his neck as a footrest which he didn't mind at all. Some of the spirits either rested on her head and shoulders, while others sat atop the tower of worksheets.
"Come on Pri-!" Asta said as he had been sitting by her side while Nero sat on his head; he looked to have a couple of bandages on his face, "-You just have a few more sheets to go through and you're done for the day!"
"I'm trying-" Prism groaned, "-It's all so hard to get!"
"Shorty come on-" Feodora said as she had been washing dishes, "-It can't be that bad."
"You try cramming five hundred years of history after being asleep for so long!" Prism said as she had been practically in tears, "I can't believe Nozel just sprung this on me after I got my sight back. It's hard to think after that poison."
"At least History is easy to understand-" Karasu said as he had been in his own pile of paper, which had been mostly been crumbled; he had tore one into pieces as he had been seen bandaged up, "-I CAN'T EVEN WRITE MY OWN DAMN NAME!"
Pluck groaned as he had been seen cooking, "That damn Silva...if only it was my dad instead."
"Back five hundred years ago bro!" Aine said as she had dropped cut up vegetables into a boiling pot, "We're in the now in case you didn't notice!"
"Seriously-" Liam said, as he had been reading the Treasure Island book, "-I know I don't like humans, but you don't see me complaining like you 24/7."
"That and you punched Nozel." Prism said, "He's still mad at you about that you know."
"You're lucky that he didn't kill you on the spot with the way he had that aura around him." Saorise added as she had been watching the pot.
"That's taking it a bit too far." Asta said, "He is a Captain like Yami is."
Pluck had argued, "So? He deserved it! He whipped Prism's hands, mind you."
"That still doesn't mean you punch the guy." Brenin said as he sat on the counter provided.
"To be fair I did deserve it after all that trouble I caused." Prism said as she looked down, "You should try to get along with Nozel. He is one of my teachers after all."
Pluck had said with a pout, "The day that happens is the day I nearly die."
"Way to foreshadow your own death there." Theodore said in a monotone voice which made Pluck flinch, "Enjoy life while you can."
Pluck couldn't help but shake as he said, "Did we REALLY have to keep you?"
"Speaking of, you should really try to get along with Noelle." Asta said, "She's our squad member!"
"Out of the question." Pluck told him. "As long as she acts like a spoiled princess, me and her, no way."
"I thought it's because she's a Silva?" Brenin said.
"That too." Pluck added. "She can kick rocks for all I care."
"She's just being like that because it's hard for her to say her feelings!" Asta said with a smile which made Pluck flinch again, "All that talk just means she really trusts you!"
"Uhhh-" Pluck started to say.
"Just go with it, it's the Dum-Dum you're talking to." Feodora said.
"HEY!" Asta shouted as he felt offended.
"I-I see." Pluck said awkwardly.
Theodore soon sat up as he said while his eyes shifted to pink, "Oh! Does that mean Pluck says those things to Noelle because he won't admit he trusts her?!" Pluck froze up at this as his jaw dropped.
"Huh-I guess it is kind of like that." Asta said as he gave it some thought.
"You're joking!" Theodore said, "You're so smart for someone who's short!"
"I'M NOT THAT SHORT!" Asta yelled.
"Though now that I think about it Plu-Plu was always the nervous one." Prism said, "And he was the most shy around girls, more so than Brenin."
"Well that explains why he doesn't respect women." Feodora said casually.
Pluck shouted in protest, "I RESPECT THEM JUST FINE!"
"Says the guy that slapped his fiancee silly." Feodora said as he had been taken back.
"HEY! She was causing trouble!" Pluck told her.
"Not the point I'm making here." She said.
"Oh yeah, he said the same thing to Arwen before he got along with her." Aidan said, "It was awhile but you guys became good hunting buddies and sparring partners."
Pluck immediately turned red before he retorted as he sounded embarrassed, "CAN YOU NOT?!" he shoved his hat down his head as he screeched.
"THE DARKNESS! I CAN'T SEE!" Aidan exclaimed as he ran around.
"At least I'm not under house arrest again." Prism said before she sighed, "Though I got the Captains mad."
Asta and Feodora's look changed slightly as did the others. Though Karasu motioned for one of them to say something as neither couldn't think of anything. It hadn't been long before Asta had spoken up as he gave her a pat on the shoulder, "Pri-Don't be so hard on yourself. They were just worried about you that's all."
"I know but-" She said, "-It's bad enough I caused trouble during that Dungeon mission, but I not only got you guys in my trouble, I almost killed a man with that Death Incantation. And I'm also partially responsible for breaking Karasu's sword."
"That was my own fault on that one. And you did what you had to do." Karasu said, "No one is faulting you for that. Besides, if it wasn't for you, Hywel would've killed me."
"He's right." Saorise said, "Yes it was scary but you did the right thing and saved someone's life."
"And scared a whole slum town…." Prism said.
"They'll let that go Prism. Fugeleon is doing everything in his power to help the people of Ashtown." Brenin said, "Besides, since they found out Hywel was just manipulating an entire town, even if he's out of prison he won't have anyone behind him."
Pluck added with a nod, "Yeah, from what I hear, he's getting imprisonment for all of eternity."
"QUACK! QUACK QUACK!" Addeline added as she waved her stick while she was stirring a pot.
"You're right, Addeline, It does serve him right."
"Quack Quack quack!"
"Don't worry Addi, I'm sure that the wound I got is healed by now." Pluck told her despite his flinch. "Ow.."
"I know he did bad things but that doesn't change the fact that I could've killed him." Prism said.
"Well-" Feodora soon said, "-Just give it a couple of practice runs and you could-"
"No!" She said, as she shuddered while hugging herself, "That feeling was awful and I don't want to go through with that again."
"Okay, okay-" Feodora said calmly as she held up her hands, "-Whatever you want, it's your grimoire."
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Asta asked, "I know that Incantation is dangerous but it doesn't have to be. What if we're caught in a Cursed Item again?"
"I-I'm sure it'll be fine." She replied with a smile, "And even if we are, we can think of something! I'll just get by with my scythe and those other incantations I learned! They've helped me before."
Asta still had a look of worry, though he found it best not to pry, "Alright… If that's what you think is for the best."
"I just hope that scary dangly man is nice to the others." Theodore said as his eyes had been blue, "I know they called me Donkey-But they're alright."
Karasu sighed as he added as he had his own look of worry, "... Yeah… Me too. They did terrible things but they're good people. Hywel just steered them the wrong way."
"That reminds me-" Aisling said as she covered the pot after adding a sauce, "-How do you know those three? They really knew you well."
"They like friends of yours or something?" Aine asked.
"Yeah, you seem really close with them." Pluck added.
"When I was washed up ashore with Sachiko, they found me and welcomed me into the Pack. At the time my best friend Avalon was a part of it too" Karasu said, "We worked on several jobs together, lifted cash and jewels, and played pranks."
"That means-You were friends?" Asta asked.
"Dylan and I were-" He replied, "-As for Erin and Blaise-I wouldn't call them friends."
"So what?" Feodora said, confused, "Were they your ex partners in crime?"
"Nope." He replied.
"Ex-colleagues?" Aine asked.
"Nuh-uh." He said.
"Ex-Enemies?" Aisling asked.
"Not even close." He replied
"Frenemies?" Aidan asked.
"Getting cold." Karasu told them.
Pluck asked. "If i had to ask, did one of you like that owl girl and that's why you guys broke it off?"
"Well-" Karasu said as he started to get nervous as he turned red, "-Not exactly."
The group had been a bit confused by this sort of thing. "If they're not any of those things, then what exactly was your relationship with-" Feodora started to say before she stopped suddenly. All Karasu did was give Feodora a look as she gave an awkward smile. They saw it seemed to have hit her.
"... Oooohhhh…" Was all she said.
The others had been confused too before it seemed to have hit them as well; their confused faces turned into that of shock as they looked at Karasu.
"You didn't think I was straight as an arrow did you?" Was what Karasu had replied with.
"You mean you-" Brenin said, "-That Owl Witch-And the hound guy-"
"Yeeep." Karasu said.
"Dated at the same time?!" Asta said shocked as his eyes couldn't help but sparkle.
"And even did-" Liam said before he whispered as his ears twitched, "-Adult things?"
"Pretty much." Karasu added.
Saorise couldn't help but squee, along with Prism as their own eyes had sparkled. "Bime i elena that's the cutest thing I have ever heard!" Prism said.
"And not to mention romantic!" Saorise said, "Awww, this is just like that romance novel I read from Gooden's stash that one time!"
"Awww, what a beautiful love-hate relationship!" Theodore said in a happy tone of voice.
"O-oh!" Pluck said as his face turned red, "I never imagined you would-"
"What?" Karasu said, "A guy can be on both sides of the fence, you know?"
Pluck had said as he flailed his arms, "Well it's not that it's just how can you-well, date people with those kinds of personalities! Especially that hound guy or the owl girl!"
"Dude, it was two years ago." He argued, "I didn't regret it but I made mistakes."
"See Pluck, if Karasu can have more than two, why can't yo-" Before Aine could answer, Pluck only pulled her hat down her head as she shrieked.
"Still I never expected you to be attracted to both guys and girls." Feodora said, "I'm surprised you didn't make a move on me or Pluck, or Asta and Prism here."
"If it makes you two feel better you're not my type." Karasu said nonchalantly.
"Oh!" She said surprised before she had a smile, "Well thanks I appreciate the honesty as long as it's not from the stuck up."
Pluck sighed as he said, "Oh thank you, not that I have a problem, I'm not interested in dating anyone." he soon turned to Feodora as he asked, "Also The hell's that supposed to mean?"
"You know EXACTLY what I mean." She said with a glare.
"What about us?" Asta asked, "I mean not that I mind it but you wouldn't date a person like me?"
"Or me?" Prism asked.
Karasu looked at the both of them, as they were taken back by the small smirk that he had. "Something tells me, you'll find your own soulmate." He said.
"Huh?" Prism and Asta said a bit taken back. Nero only shook her head at this as she seemed to have let out a sigh.
"So then Karasu-" Saorise said as she slid up next to him, "-What guy and girl are you into exactly?"
"WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME THAT?!" Karasu shouted.
Pluck bonked her on the head as he exclaimed, 'SAORISE! YOU CAN'T JUST ASK THAT TO A PERSON! THAT'S PRIVATE STUFF!"
"Come on Pluck, aren't you at least a bit curious?!" Saorise said as her ears twitched slightly.
"No! It's Karasu's privacy! I don't pry into what kind of guy YOU like!" Pluck exclaimed
"To be fair Plu-Plu, you asked that about Gooden when you found out she likes both guys and-." Prism said.
Pluck flinched as he covered Prism's mouth as he said "Not in front of them, Pri." Pluck said as he shushed her.
"Man-" Feodora said, "-I can only imagine what Yami's gonna think when he finds out you like guys and girls Karasu."
"I'd rather the Cap didn't know that-" Karasu said before he had a thought come over him, "-Where are the Captains anyway? They just kind of dragged Noelle and the kids out the door."
Prism soon looked to the door as the Spirits turned to another shade of yellow, "Now that you mention it, they have been gone all morning."
"Wonder what they could be do-" Asta started to say before.
BAM-Went the door making them jump as the pot of soup had been spilled by Pluck accidentally. The hot water ended up hitting Adrien as he let out a pained shriek, his head had hit the table as it knocked Prism, Asta, Feodora and Karasu over with a shriek as Nero flew off Asta's head. Several of the books landed on top of Karasu as he shrieked in agony.
"THE LUNCH!" Aisling, Brenin, Saorise, and Liam shouted.
"NOT THE SOUP!!" Aine yelled.
"IT WAS STILL YOUNG!" Aidan exclaimed.
Pluck shrieked as he avoided the spill, "PROTECT THE SAUCE AT ALL-!" Soon some landed on his eyes as he screamked bloody murder. "EYES MY EYES! YOU FOOLS! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?!" He soon began screaming in Elven, though most of it was curse words.
Vandy and Jubei had run through the door as they looked to be excited.
"GUYS! GUYS! GUYS!" Vandy exclaimed with enthusiasm as he hopped up on the couch and started to jump up and down
"BIG NEWS! BIG NEWS! BIG NEWS!" Juebi shouted before she noticed the chaos, "Uhhh-What are you doing?"
Aisling replied as she had been weeping for the soup that had been currently on the floor, "Mourning what used to be our lunch…."
"Farewell delicious friend-" Aine said as she took off her hat and put it across her chest, "-You never stood a chance."
"He had a family-" Aidan cried, "-A family!"
Pluck shouted as he had been in pain, "WHY WHY OH WHY!" he shouted more curse words in elven, though Saorise gasped at one particular word as she had been on a lounge chair to avoid the spill.
"PLUCK! You can't say THAT word!" She shouted, "THEY'RE CHILDREN HERE!"
"Ow…" Asta groaned, "... I think I'll pass out now…"
"My head…" Prism groaned.
"And there goes the back pains again…" Feodora said as Theodore had been on her face, "... Welcome back old friend."
"This is where I belong-" Theodore said with blue eyes before they shifted to green and he shouted, "-I WILL BE AVENGED!!"
"Head… Hurts… A lot…" Karasu said, "... Me thinks… It split open…"
Vandy and Jubei looked to one other before Sachiko and Noelle, along with Captains, William, Yami and Jack had walked through the door and noticed the chaos that was happening.
"Uhh-" Sachiko said, "-Did a storm pass through here or something?"
"You could say that." Brenin replied nonchalantly as his feet had been lifted onto the counter.
Noelle had said, looking just disturbed by everything, "What in the world?"
Pluck continued to scream in elven curses as he rolled around in pain while the others had been on the floor as they were twitching slightly.
"Uh-" Vandy said, "-Was kicking down the door in excitement not the best idea?"
"Maybe it was a bit much in this case." William replied, getting Vandy and Jubei off the couch.
Yami sighed as he said, "hey sword boy, hold stil-"
Pluck was slippery as he slid on the floor while screaming
"I said hold st-" yami tried to grab him again but he was too slippery. "Damn it, Sword Boy! Let me help you!"
SMACK!
Most of the teens in the room froze up, and even Pluck stopped his writing as he soon noticed that his foot had been right in Yami's cheek.
"Uh-oh." Prism said as she saw what had just happened.
A familiar dark aura soon came over Yami as Pluck proceeded to crawl away as he said, "S-sorry.."
Yami soon grabbed ahold of Pluck's ankle as he made the young elf pale up, "UNCLE! UNCLE! UNCLE! UNCLE! UNCLE!"
Yami had told him as he held him upside down; his glare had intensified tenfold, "NO UNCLE."
Pluck let out a shriek as the teens had paled up at what Yami had been doing to him, as they each started to saunter out of the room.
"KEKE-Never seen him bend like that before." Jack said.
"I-I Feel bad for Barbados right now." Noelle said before she flinched "WAIT WHY DO I FEEL BAD FOR HIM?! HE DESERVES THIS!" She yelped as she felt something hit her shin, It was Addeline as she said "Quack Quack..."
"What's Uncle Yami gonna do with Pluck-niichan's bo-" Sachiko started to say as her eyes were focused on what was happening before Noelle quickly shut her eyes.
"We're just gonna wait in the other room!" Noelle said before taking Sachiko into the other room, with Vandy and Jubei before Pluck let out a womanly shriek.
"OH MOTHER OF MERCY!" He shouted as they each went into the other room.
-One Torture Later-
Once again everything had calmed down as Pluck had limped out of the bathroom while Yami had been sitting on the lounge chair just exhausted. Most of the others had cleaned up the mess, gathered up the books and worksheets. Pluck let out a groan as he collapsed on the couch.
"Why… Ana Latta as me.." Pluck groaned. "I didn't deserve that.."
Yami replied after he caught his breath, "hey, be lucky i didn't go that far,"
"You know his parents aren't gonna approve of that." William told him.
Yami replied with a wave of his hand, "Yeah, like I haven't heard that rant before."
Pluck had groaned, "I thought I wouldn't be able to take a dump just now… My ass hurts a lot after the boot..."
"TMI nerd." Liam said after discarding the last of the soup.
"Sorry about freaking you guys out!" Vandy said, as he had been sitting on Prism's lap, while bouncing a little "We just got really excited!"
"Did that still warrant you to kick down the door?" Prism asked as Nero sat on her shoulder this time, not minding the spirits that sat around her, "That was really dangerous."
"That's because this is-THE BIG NEWS!" Jubei said as she was sitting in Asta's lap along with a familiar Spirit in the form of a bunny with dragonfly wings, "And I mean THE big news!"
"You're lucky I can't use my Gum sword to punish you two right now." Pluck said as he pointed it towards them.
"Do you know what got them all excited?" Karasu asked Noelle and Sachiko.
"I wish I knew, they just acted like this after they got a letter when we stopped by the postal service." Noelle replied.
"The minute they got it, they just raced back here." Sachiko said.
"A letter?" Asta asked, "What sort of letter?"
"This one!" Vandy said excitedly as he took out an envelope. The envelope looked like porcelain white as it had been addressed to the Barbados Family.
"Huh?" Pluck said, surprised, "Did Uncle Naotoshi write to us again?"
"It's even better!" Vandy said as he hopped off Prism's lap as he ran over to him, "Just read it bro!"
Pluck took the letter before the Triple A's looked over his shoulder as they started to read through it. Prism, Asta, Feodora and Karasu and the Familiars saw their eyes brightened at the letters' contents as they soon looked excited as the kids did.
"OH MY GOSH!" Aisling shouted, "THIS IS THE BEST NEWS EVER!"
"This has to be a dream! Someone Pinch me!" Pluck said he soon screeched as he turned to Theodore who had been wagging his tail, "IT WAS A RHETORICAL SAYING!"
"You sounded like you really wanted someone to pinch you." Theodore said in a monotone voice.
"Did we REALLY have to take him in?" Noelle asked.
"What are you guys getting excited for?" Prism asked as it made the Triple A's and Pluck suddenly nervous.
"It was from our Uncle Acer!" Aisling said, "It said that he's coming over with Auntie Gooden!"
Prism's eyes lit up at this as some of the spirits shifted into a set of bright colors, "Really!? Uncle Ace is alive too!?"
"Of course he is, girl!" Aidan said, "Who do you take Acer for huh?"
Brenin and Saorise's expressions brightened as well, as Liam couldn't help but groan in annoyance; Prism however had sighed with relief as she still had her smile.
"Ace is alive!" Brenin said as his tail swayed happily.
"Thank Mana!" Saorise said, relieved, "The Barbados Family continues to live!"
"Oh boy-" Liam said sarcastically as his ears dropped slightly, "-Acer is alive."
"Wait..there's more?" Noelle asked, earning a glare from Addeline. "It was just a question!"
"Quack..." Addeline said with a leer.
"I know you're happy too Liam!" Saorise said as she shook him a little.
"Sorry, who's Acer?" Asta asked.
"He's Uncle Cadfan's older brother." Prism said, "And he was my dad's other best friend."
"He's one of the best Magic Knights in all of Clover-" Aine said, as she earned a look from Yami and Jack, "-Other then you guys of course."
"And he's also a drinking buddy of Uncle Yami's." Aidan said.
"Wait really?!" Asta said.
"I didn't even think Cadfan had an older brother." Feodora said.
"Wait-Where has he been the whole time?" Karasu said, "How come we haven't seen him around the base?"
Pluck soon answered, "He's been on secret missions for the clover kingdom since after we got settled with the Black Bulls a year ago. In fact, back when Asta, Feodora and Yuno brought Prism to the capital for the Magic Knights exam, he left for a top secret one by Julius."
"Bime i elena really?" Prism said, shocked, "Where was he?"
"He was in the Heart Kingdom, uncovering a conspiracy." Vandy replied casually, before he turned to Asta, Feodora, Karasu, Sachiko and Noelle, "You guys are gonna love him! He's a riot!"
"Though he might be a bit much at first glance." Aine said, "Especially with the ladies."
"That doesn't sound very encouraging…." Sachiko said.
"So in other words he's the COMPLETE opposite of Pluck's dad?" Feodora said.
"Oh yeah, just wait till you meet him." Aidan said.
"You'll like him!" Jubei said.
Pluck added as he had a nervous smile, as he looked to be sweating, "Yep! A real one of a kind!"
Prism had noticed the way he was acting as she tilted her head. "Plu-Plu, are you okay?" She asked with worry.
Yami only smacked Pluck on the head before he answered for him, "he's fine, 100%"
"Not after you did that to him, I assume." Karasu said.
"Ookay…" Asta said awkwardly before he turned to Jack and William, "... Are you guys familiar with this Acer if you don't mind me asking?"
"Of course." William replied, "He's been a reliable comrade of ours, and has been extremely helpful."
Jack added, "KEKE-As the kid said, he's one of the strongest magic knights there is. Though his way with the ladies is something else."
Asta, Feodora, Karasu, Sachiko and Noelle looked to one another as they gave each other a look of confusion. Though Prism gave them a reassuring smile, as she took Asta and Feodora's hands, "Don't worry, I know he'll love you two! And Yuno too! After all-You guys are the ones that saved me!"
Asta and Feodora looked at one another as they each had their own smile. She soon turned to Karasu, Sachiko and Noelle, "And I just know he'll love you guys! You've been such a huge help!"
"What about me, pretty lady?!" Theodore asked in a happy tone of voice.
"He'll love you too Theo!" She said.
"Hooray!" Theodore cheered before his monotone voice came back, "Wait-Should I have gotten a present?"
Noelle sighed as she soon had her own smile, "Well if the Princess says so-Then I guess it's to be so."
"If you say-" Karasu said, "-When's this guy coming over?"
Just as this was said, they heard a knock at the door, which made them jump slightly. "I got it!" Vandy and Jubei said before they dashed to the door.
"Hooray! A race!" Theodore cheered in a happy tone before his monotone came back, "My money is on the knife maniac."
"Easy!" Pluck told them as he went after them.
The kids soon slid to the front door before Vandy hopped up and opened the door. "Uncle Acer!" Vandy and Jubei said with the widest grins.
The man that had walked through the door, appeared to have a slim figure with a faded haircut, brown eyes and goatee and chin. He had a nobleman's wear which consisted of a dark navy shirt and pants without the cape. He had the robe of the Black Bulls as it looked to be a bit tattered slightly.
"Yo!" The man-Acer said, "How's my favorite little troublemakers?!"
"Uncle Acer!" Vandy and Jubei cheered again before they hopped up as he caught them. The Triple A's soon ran to him as they gave him a hug as they accidentally shoved Pluck down onto the floor.
"Okay...that's it...get em Addi.." Pluck groaned.
"QUACK! QUACK!" Addeline sobbed as she ran and hugged Acer's leg.
"Not what i meant.." Pluck said.
Acer soon noticed Pluck on the floor as he said, "Hey, there's my Genius nephew!" He took him off the ground as he dusted him and fixed up his hair, " Still hitting the books like my little brother?"
"As always Uncle." Pluck added.
Acer laughed as she said "Don't worry, we're still gonna find you the right gal that'll take you out of the library!"
"Again with that?" Pluck asked.
"Wo-Woah!" Asta said as his eyes sparkled, "That's Acer! He looks so cool!"
"Eh-" Feodora said with a shrug, "-He's not as cool as my uncle."
"That's debatable." Noelle and Karasu said as Feodora gave them a look.
"Uncle Ace!" Prism exclaimed as she hopped over on the couch. Only to have face planted onto the floor which had the Familiars and the others jump. "It's really you!" Prism said as she recovered though had a fresh bruise on her face.
Acer couldn't help but gasp with a smile, "There she is! The gal of the hour!" He soon opened his arms wide, "Come on over here! Give me a hug!"
Prism had no hesitation as she ran to Acer, and leaped into his arms. He had no problem lifting up off the ground as Prism laughed and kicked her legs. "Uncle Ace, I missed you so much!" Prism said.
Acer said with a laugh as he hugged her back, "Right back at ya, kid!"
"Master Acer!" Brenin and Saorise said as Liam only clicked his tongue.
"Well now-" Acer said, "-The Familiars are here too! What's up Brenin, Saorise-" Acer soon turned to Liam, "-Mutt."
"DON'T CALL ME MUTT!" Liam yelled as he had a literal fire in his eyes.
Acer laughed again as he said while setting Prism down, not minding the little spirits had hopped off his shoulders, "Still got the flame."
"He's really so cool looking!" Asta said before he felt Yami grab his head.
"I'm sorry, who's cool looking?" Yami asked.
"SO-SORRY SIR!" Asta exclaimed as he had been panicking.
"STOP TRYING TO KILL YOUR SQUAD!" Feodora, Karasu and Noelle shouted.
"Well, well, these are the new recruits and my underlings?" Acer said as he had gotten their attention, "Let me guess-" He soon gestured to Asta and Feodora, "-You guys are the ones that found Prism in that tree my little brother wrote in his last letter? Along with Captain William's squad member?"
"Ye-Yes sir!" Asta said as he had been struggling to get free from Yami's grip, "I'm Asta from Hage Village!" He cried out in pain, "I'm gonna pass out!"
"And I'm Feodora Helmet, from the same village." Feodora said with a smirk, "Call me a Royal and I'll punch you."
Acer chuckled as he said, 'i s-see." He soon looked over Karasu and Sachko, "And you must be the former Bad Luck Charm thief and his sister!" He soon held his hand to him, "Acer Barbados, it's nice to meet you."
"I'm Karasu Arai." He said, as he shook his hand, before he gestured to Sachiko, "And this is my little sister-Sachiko."
"Hi." Sachiko said.
"Good to meet ya kid." Acer said, giving her a pat on the head. He soon looked over to Noelle, "And who's this lovely creature?"
"Aww thank you for the compliment!" Theodore said, "My name's Theodore! Pretty Lady gave me that name!"
"Oh well that's nice." Acer said "but i was referring to the lady here."
Theodore only gave him a look as his eyes had been green, "I'll make your death slow and painful."
Prism picked him up as she put her hand on his muzzle, "He's just kidding Uncle Ace. He's new."
"That quote unquote lady is actually a nobody, Uncle." Pluck told him. "Her name is Noelle Silva and she's not that important."
Noelle gave a pout as she was ready to use her wand before Pluck used his cat paw sword to toss it away. Or at least that's what he thought until Yami grabbed his sword and Noelle's wand before tossing it out the window shocking them.
"There, now you both can't kill each other." Yami said as he dusted his hands.
Pluck said shocked, "CAPTAIN! I WASN'T GONNA SCRATCH HER!"
"Wait., you were gonna scratch me?!" Noelle asked..
Acer soon had a laugh before he said "Oh-hoh! Now I see what's happening! Lil Man! You finally got yourself a girlfriend huh?"
Pluck and Noelle soon turned red before they shouted "NO WAY!"
"THERE IS NO WAY I'LL EVER DATE A PEASANT LIKE BARBADOS!" Noelle shouted.
"AND I'LL NEVER EVER DATE A STUPID SILVA LIKE HER! I RATHER GO TO THE BORDER AND PERISH THERE!" Pluck exclaimed.
"You mean where the Mana is most unstable?! Pluck, have you lost your mind?!"
The group jumped at a woman with black frizzy hair wearing a noblewoman's dress shirt and long skirt. "Gooden!" The teens and kids exclaimed with glee.
Gooden had said with a smile, "Darlings!" they all came in with a hug. She turned to Pluck as she said, "Why would you say that over a good thing?! Who is it that you're referring to?"
Pluck groaned as he pointed to Noelle who suddenly flinched as Gooden's eyes sparkled.
"WOW! YOU'RE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING!" Godden said as she hugged her. "Pay no mind to my grumpy nephew, he didn't mean to call you stupid."
"No, I meant every word." Pluck said. "The Stupid SIlva is a Tanar'ri`Jaless Xha-" everyone had been taken back when he soon slapped himself in the face as he shrieked, "WHY DO I DO THIS TO MYSELF?!"
"Wow, he did it again." Karasu said as Shiromori slithered out of his shirt.
"Can I ask what that word meant?" Asta asked Acer.
"Oh you REALLY don't want to know." Gooden said as she gave Pluck a look. "Your mother and I talked about using words like that!"
"Wait-" Feodora said shocked, "-You understand elf?"
"Studied it after Cadfan married my sister in law." Gooden replied, "Unlike my stupid big brother here."
Acer said, offended, "hey hey! I was getting there! I know some Elven myself!"
"You only learned the romancing Elven language and that didn't even work." Godden said with a look.
"Of course it did!" Acer argued.
"You invited them to get naked, and sacrifice a small goat!" She argued, "I call that zero progress!"
Most of them looked shocked at this as Acer gave an awkward look. Only Yami started to burst out laughing at this as he had been near tears. "Okay my phrasing could use work." Acer said nervously, "But at least they didn't ACTUALLY sacrifice a goat."
Yami said as he laughed, "HAH! That's a riot! I can't believe you tried to pick up women with that line!"
Acer told Yami as he gave him a look, "And you can do better?"
"Bitch just watch me." Yami said.
Prism had soon been taken back when she heard a familiar laugh, as even the spirits and Adrien seemed to have perked up. Then it followed with a familiar voice.
"Please-I've known babies that speak better what you got in your vocabulary youngin."
Prism had turned to the door as a third man soon stepped inside; behind him followed a large dog which had resembled that of a husky, and yet he had been as tall as a mini horse as his fur was pure white while his eyes were that of gold. He had a saddle on his back as he had bronze braces along the ankles of each paws as his tail had been as long as Brenin's.
The man that stood next to the dog had been a man in his early forties as he had been wearing a familiar hakam grey shirt, though over it had been a black trench coat as he had dark brown leather pants with a set of black boots. Upon his head, he had on black gambler's hat that looked to be a bit worn out and torn and looked a bit faded.
Though he had an undercut, that was of a burgundy red the moment he had removed a familiar set of jewels, his hair had reverted to white and a set of pointed ears took its place.
Tears came to Prism's eyes as she saw that familiar sharktooth grin, as he placed the magic items in his coat pocket. The Familiars had been put into shock at the sight of the man as well.
"Prism?" Asta said as he noticed her tears.
The man soon looked at her and tipped his hat to her, "Hey there-Little Trouble Monkey."
Prism only smiled as she still couldn't help but cry; even the spirits had turned to pink and blue shades. "No-" She started to say, "-Uncle Nolan!"
Asta, Feodora, Karasu, and Noelle had been shocked as Prism ran to him with open arms. Nolan had only laughed as she lept towards him, as he didn't mind that she knocked him over. Prism only sobbed and cried as she had her face buried in his neck and shoulder.
"... Uncle Nolan…." Prism cried, "... It's really you! I can't believe you're here…!"
Nolan gave her a pat on the head as he tightened his embrace, "... I missed you too."
"Who-" Asta started to say, "-Who is that?"
"Another relative of the Stuck Ups?" Feodora said, confused.
"Guys-" Karasu said as he had seen Prism's reaction towards the man, "-I think… He's a relative of the Tater Tots."
Asta, Feodora and Noelle had been stunned by this as they looked at them again.
The Triple A's only smiled and chuckled, as Pluck could only smile. The Familiars had been stunned as they approached the man-or rather, Nolan, while Adrien had been greeting the large dog in his own way. Nolan soon had them as he showed off his grin.
"You three gonna stand there like trees-" Nolan said before he held his arm out to them, "-Or you gonna get in here?"
The kids' eyes widened with smiles before they game in and gave Nolan a big hug as he chuckled; he gave them each a pat on the head. It seemed as though a few moments had passed before Prism finally got herself out of the hug.
"I can't believe it-" She said as she sniffled, "-You're really here! I thought you were-"
"Dead?" Nolan said, "Nah, I just decided to take a nap." He soon patted her head, "Like you did from what I heard from Yuki's letter." Nolan chuckled as he said. "That aside, I'm glad you're alright, kid!" He soon looked over to the Familiars, "And you three-Are you really still alive?"
Saorise couldn't help but giggle, "Aww, Nolan, you're always such a riot!"
"Yup-" Brenin said as he wiped a tear, "-You're still the same man as before."
Liam gave a smirk before he said, "Welcome back, old man."
"Good to be back-Student of mine." Nolan replied as he scratched his ears.
Feodora soon cleared her throat as they soon stood up after their latest episode. "Ri-Right, sorry." Prism said after wiping her tears away. It hadn't been long before she had a smile on her face as she took Nolan's hand. "Asta, Noelle, Feo, Karasu, Sachiko-" She said, "-Meet Nolan, my mom's big brother."
Asta, Feodora, Karasu, Sachiko and Noelle had been shocked. Asta's eyes soon sparkled, "No way-!"
"You're-Actually her uncle?" Feodora said.
"In the flesh." Nolan said as he tipped his hat, before he looked to Noelle and Karasu in particular "So you must be the recruits to the Black Bulls. Heard some good things about you from Captain Yami in the letters."
"You're a member of the Black Bulls too?" Karasu asked.
"Have been for a whole year Bad Luck Charm Thief." Nolan said, before he looked at Sachiko, "You're his little sister ain't you?"
"Ye-Yes sir." Sachiko replied with a nervous smile, "I'm Sachiko."
"You keeping your big brother here out of trouble?" He asked as he gave her a playful nudge.
Sachiko giggled, "I try-But trouble always finds us anyway."
"Oh you and I are gonna get along JUST fine." Nolan said as he ruffled her hair before he turned to Noelle.
"You're Noelle Silva, ain't ya?" He asked before he soon held out his hand, as Noelle shook it in greeting, "It's nice to meet a human with pretty powerful water magic. If you had any more mana you would pass as an elf and match up with me."
Noelle had been taken back, "You-Have water magic?"
"Why, yes I do, little lady." Nolan said with a smirk before he winked, "You're looking at one of the finest water mages ever to be born among the elves. I used to make it rain for Prism when she was a kid, so we could have a water fight."
"I remember that!" Prism said, "Mom got really mad at you, till after you got her to join in."
Nolan chuckled again, "And you two must be Asta and Feodora. From Hage Village right?"
"Yes sir, that's us!" Asta said as his eyes had been sparkling.
"Gotta say, it's nice to finally meet someone who's related to Prism by blood." Feodora said.
"And I appreciate you two and this Yuno fellow looking after my niece for me." Nolan said, "Not many peasants and commoners can get to where you two are in times like this, especially with a kid who has no magic." He soon placed his hand on Asta's shoulder, "That's pretty amazing kiddo for someone who's going to be the Future Wizard King."
Asta couldn't help but turn red at this as he smiled. "O-Oh! Yeah?" He said, as he laughed, "Tha-Thank you sir!"
"Nice to see someone else other than Yuno, Prism and I that likes Asta and doesn't call his dreams silly." Feodora said.
"On the contrary, the people who would call him silly are silly themselves." Nolan said, "Those are the words I live by."
"AHHHHHH!" The group heard Noelle screeching as they turned to see a red-white rooster next to her with serious brown eyes, She soon asked. "WHO LEFT THIS ROOSTER HERE?!"
The Rooster only gave a dead eye stare as it made Asta, Feodora and Karasu flinch back. "WHERE DID HE COME FROM!?" Asta shouted.
Addeline's eyes widened as she let out a cheerful, "QUACK QUACK!"
The Triple A's, Prism, Vandy, and Jubei and even Pluck let out an excited shriek which made them jump.
"NIWA!" Prism exclaimed with a smile. The kids ran up to Niwa as they hugged the rooster, despite his dead eye stare.
Even when Prism hugged the rooster he didn't seem phased; even as he nuzzled his face into her cheek.
"Uhhh another one of your magical pets?" Karasu asked Pluck.
"Actually he's my dad's." Pluck repiled
"This is our guard rooster Niwa!" Aisling said before she hugged him, "Dad got him to help guard our veggies and crops back home in Airedale!"
"He even protected the baby Magic Beasts and us when we were kids." Aine said.
I'm sorry, a Guard rooster?" Feodora said shocked.
"And he knows tricks!" Vandy said.
"There's no such thing!" Noelle said.
Pluck laughed as he said, "oh naive ignorant stupid Silva, There is such a thing as Guard Roosters. Niwa happens to be one of the strongest animals in our village. Ain't you boy?"
Niwa didn't reply nor even make a sound-He just gave his dead eyed stare which couldn't help but make most of them shudder and cringe, until-
"I can feel him staring deep into my soul." Theodore said in a monotone voice before his eyes shifted to pink, "I like him!"
"Does he-ever smile?" Asta asked.
"Yeah, this is his happy face, see?" Prism said as Niwa still had the stare.
"Aww, he likes you!" Jubei said as Niwa had been staring at Asta intensely.
"Is-Is your rooster okay?" Karasu asked, "He's not even blinking."
"You sure he's not a walking corpse or something?" Feodora asked.
"Yeah, he just blinks so fast, no one can see it." Pluck told them,
Jack had said as the rooster only gave him a look, "KEKE-is that so?!" he got his blades to Niwa's face, surprising enough, he didn't blink. "He's a tough one. I like him!"
"He's uh-Kind of scaring me." Sachiko said as she shifted awkwardly.
Addelie waddled to Niwa as she hugged the rooster as she said, "Quack! Quack!"
"Oh yeah, Niwa was Addeline's Guardian when she was a duckling!" Aisling said.
"It's so cute to see them like this!" Vandy said as his eyes sparkled.
Yami had said while taking a puff, "Huh, Talk about a reunion."
"Does that explain why Addeline is-well-" Karasu asked.
"Well..some parts.." Pluck replied
Addeline looked at Noelle as she had the same stare as Niwa before she said "Quack.."
Noelle flinched as she said, "T-That explains it.."
"Hold on-" Prism said, "-What was Niwa doing with you guys?"
Gooden had replied, "Doing what a Guard Rooster does best! Keeping watch!"
"That and Zeus gets bored." Nolan said, as he gave his dog a pat on the head, "Someone's gotta keep my partner entertained."
Soon Niwa seemed to have turned his head around as a whole three sixty which had taken most of them back. "Aww!" Theodore said, as he had pink eyes, "Isn't he funny?"
"He's still got it!" Pluck added as he clapped.
"AGAIN! AGAIN!" Jubei added.
"I think he might've been dropped as an egg…" Feodora said disturbed.
Noelle got up as she said. "I think I'll take a long bath-just to get that out of my head." she soon walked away with her face expressing the fear displayed,
"I'm-gonna head to the kitchen.." Karasu said as he sauntered towards the kitchen area.
"Yup! Still the classic Niwa!" Liam said with a chuckle.
"Sooo-" Asta said as he quickly diverted the conversation as he looked towards Acer, Gooden and Nolan, "-Anyway, what brings you guys here?! Not that I'm happy to see other members of the Black Bulls, but-"
"-Shouldn't you guys be at the base?" Feodora added, "Taking care of other missions?"
"That was the idea when we came back to Clover." Nolan said, "Till after Yami requested I come here. I would've come here myself-" He soon gave Acer a look as he lost his grin, "-If this Siffi hadn't PERSISTED into tagging along."
Acer said as he had been somewhat offended, "hey! Can't a brother come by to see his nephews and nieces? Plus I wanted to see the captain that makes sure Pluck is doing okay."
"I was fine with bringing Gooden, but you just wouldn't shut up." Nolan said, "Seriously you begged me at least 50 times before I said yes."
"But it worked didn't it?" Acer asked as he bumped his shoulder with his elbow, causing Nolan to groan.
Nolan shoved him away before he mumbled begrudgingly, "Var e'sum ath al otuuk fe`saign."
"HEY!" Acer shouted, "I KNOW I DON'T SPEAK ELF, BUT I KNOW DISS WHEN I HEAR EM!"
"YOU WANNA GO WARG KISSER?!" Nolan shouted.
Gooden had gotten between the boys as she said, "okay, put down the dukes boys."
"What's up with them?" Asta asked Prism with worry.
"We-Well-" Prism had started to say as she twiddled her thumbs, "-Uncle Ace and Nolan, don't really like each other."
"Why?" He asked.
"He tried to pick up Auntie Alma even after she married Uncle Zeid." Aisling whispered, "At least that's how mom told it to us."
"And as you can see-it didn't end well." Pluck told them.
"It's always been really heated between these two." Brenin said, "Though at least they haven't killed each other."
"Yet." Liam added.
"Never did I imagine there was someone who would stoop lower than Finral and Fafanars brother." Feodora said.
"Wait a minute-" Prism said a bit taken back, "-Yami called you here?"
"Well-Not just him Trouble Monkey." Nolan said.
Prism was a bit confused by this till she turned to William and Jack as she seemed to have put two and two together. The spirits around her seemed to have shifted into a particular shade of blue as she looked troubled.

"No your highness." William said to her reassuringly, "It's nothing like that. It's just-"
"Allow me hotshot." Nolan said before he gave Prism a pat on the head, "Here's the thing, after I heard from Yuki that you showed up miraculously in the capital, you can tell how excited I was to see you, despite me having that mission to take care of. And by the time I did get around to writing a letter, I find out my one and only niece is being my favorite little troublemaker."
"Uncle Nolan-" Prism said, embarrassed as she turned red.
"Honestly Nolan." Godden said. "Do you have to call her a troublemaker?"
"I can't help it if she's my little Trouble Monkey-" Nolan told Gooden with a teasing smile, earning a growl from her, "-Anyway, the Captains and his majesty the Wizard King gave me the all clear to take you guys and your new friends on our camping trip. Figured we were long overdue for one anyway." Prism's expression brightened as did the Spirits, as the Familiars perked up at this, "And what better way to catch up with your good old uncle then having ourselves a family outing? So long as the Captains here don't let you out of their sight that is."
"OH MY GOSH, YES! 100 TIMES YES!" Prism exclaimed with excitement.
Saorise couldn't help but squee, "YES! CAMPING! IT'S BEEN SO LONG SINCE WE WENT CAMPING!"
"Hells yes!" Liam said, "I'm in!"
"Count me in!" Brenin said.
"ALL RIGHT!" Pluck said. "Time for you guys to see why me and Addi are the fishing champs!"
"QUACK!" Addeline said with pride.
"Yes indeed, Niwa is gonna help us!" Pluck said. "Isn't that right, Niwa!"
Niwa only had the stare as Feodora couldn't help but shake. 'I'll never get used to that.."
"HA!" Aisling shouted, "In your dreams big bro! Did you FORGET how many fishes and river crabs we caught on our hunting trips?"
"Get ready for the return of the Triple A fishing combo!" Aine said.
"Now back with a vengeance!" Aidan said as he rolled up his sleeves.
Pluck gave a laugh before he said, "oh how cute, Did YOU forget how much meat me, Addi and Niwa caught?"
"We weren't ready then!" Aidan replied as he turned red, "Plus that headstart didn't count!"
"Uh-huh." Pluck told him.
"You're ALL wrong!" Liam said with a confident smile, "Need I remind you who's the number one hunter of Airedale?"
"Oh it is on wolffer boy!" Aine said.
Pluck said with an evil smile, "Prepare to lose!"
"Aw man, we haven't done a camping trip in awhile!" Vandy said, "You know what this means Jubei?"
"Oh yeah-" Jubei said before she broke several knives, "-Time to build us a forage!"
"Uh guys-" Asta soon said as he had gotten their attention, "-What exactly are you talking about here?"
"It's our old family camping trip Asta!" Prism replied with a smile, "It's one of the best things I loved doing when I was kid. And it was a good excuse for me to go over the border of my village! Other then visiting another kingdom of course." She soon made a face as a thought came over her, "Well we didn't travel far from the village, but it was still so much fun!"
"It's amazing!" Vandy added, "We play games, hunt for food, swim in a river, bathe in a natural hot spring! And then comes the scary stories around the campfire!"
Prism only flinched slightly at this before Jubei had added on, "Oh yeah that's the best! And sometimes we play the scare dares!"
"You play those there too?" Feodora asked, "I thought that was during that dare bucket challenge thing."
"Oh no it originated from those camping trips!" Jubei said, "We just incorporated them into the daring game!"
Yami and Jack soon turned to Jubei with a stare as it made her flinch. Vandy soon said as he sweated, "But uh-The Scare Dare thing is stupid anyway! We can find another game to play!"
Jubei added with a nod, "Y-Yeah Yeah! Something more fun than that."
"GOOD." Yami and Jack said in unison as they flinched.
Asta's eyes soon sparkled, "WOW, THAT SOUNDS AMAZING! COUNT ME IN!" He soon turned over to Feodora, "Right Feo!? Doesn't it sound like a good idea?!"
Feodora couldn't help but say with a sarcastic tone of voice, "I'm just quivering with joy in my boots."
"It sounds like you're not a fan of camping." Acer said.
"What gave it away?" She said as her tone sounded a bit harsh.
"Aw Feo-" Asta said as he was giving her pats on the back, "-You camped with Yuno, Prism and I when were coming here to the capital for the Entrance Exam."
"I TOLERATED it Asta." Feodora said, "There's a distinctive difference between the two. And I would rather not tolerate it again."
"Don't knock it till you try it, Feodora!" Saorise said, "Why don't you come and-"
"Nope." Feodora said.
"I DIDN'T EVEN FINISH!" She exclaimed.
Yami sighed before he said. "Well Newsflash, you're going. Whether you like it or not-Unless you wanna stay and do chores till your hand breaks."
Feodora flinched at this, as she gave Yami a look, "You wouldn't-"
Yami said with a nod, "Oh hell yes I would."
Feodora gave a pout before she started to mumble.
"I'm sorry, you say something?" Yami asked with a death glare.
"No sir." Feodora said, "Though I can assure you I'm not gonna like it."
Jack soon told her, as he said 'KEKE-You better learn to like it, Unless you want to lose an arm!"
"WHAT KIND OF A CAPTAIN ARE YOU?!" Feodora shouted out of shock.
"I gotta get packing!" Prism said, as she went to run to her room, "I gotta grab Adrien's saddle and a couple of books! And definitely my hook swords and arrows!"
Right when Prism was about to head up the stairs Pluck's expression soon changed as he soon realized something, "OH MANA! I JUST REMEMBERED! PRISM NO!"
Prism soon stopped in her tracks as she gave a confused look. "Something wrong Plu-Plu?" Prism asked.
"Don't you remember what you just went through!?" Pluck said, "With the Pack and not to mention, you're coming down from that poison!" He soon pointed to the piles of paper on the table, "Plus you gotta finish that for Nozel!"
"Oh, NOW you care about what Nozel thinks?" Feodora said with a smug smile.
"I knew you cared!" Theodore said.
"NO YOU IDIOT!" Pluck exclaimed. "I just don't want him to whip her again!"
"You know he's still pissed that you slugged his face." Yami said with a puff as it made Pluck flinch, "You're lucky he didn't kill you, thanks to Vermillion."
"Don't remind me.." Pluck groaned.
"Though Pluck does make a good point-About the poison I mean." Asta said.
"Don't worry-" Nolan said, "-Some fresh air will do her good. Sides-Camping often takes the stress away, rather than adding to it. I'm sure the Captain of the Silver Eagles won't mind."
Asta sighed with relief, "That's good to hear."
Pluck shook as he gave a forced smile while saying, "You don't say.."
"Wow-You're turning into your worrywart father." Nolan said genuinely surprised, "Never thought I'd see that."
Acer had said with a laugh, "I tell ya, That Silva girl might change him for the better!"
"Uncle Acer please." Pluck groaned. "I rather have Feodora incase me in ice for centuries than date the stupid SIlva."
"That can be arranged." Feodora said as Pluck had been taken back by this.
"Now none of that!" Gooden told him. "She's a pretty girl! Why insult her? Just because she's from a different family?"
"EVEN YOU NOW AUNTIE?!" Pluck shouted out of confusion.
"Your father acted that way with Yukiko when they first met, not because of different races." Gooden said, "They were rather competitive to see who's better at who, it wasn't long until they were teens that decided to put that aside and-" she soon blushed as she coughed. "Well-Yeah."
Pluck only turned to red as he said, "TMI AUNTIE!"
"I don't think you would have to worry about anything Pluck." William told him.
"Huh?" Pluck asked.
"Did you just magically forget that we gave Nolan here a condition?" Yami said, "As long as we're along for the ride then the Lizard Girl here can go and camp with her uncle."
"KEKE-This way we can make sure she doesn't try to kill herself again." Jack added.
"O-oh is that so." Pluck said
"And before you say, YES she's coming along too." Yami told him
"Who?" Pluck asked.
"Noelle obviously." He said which made Pluck freeze up and pale. He couldn't help but shriek which made everyone in the house jump.
"CAPTAIN! WHY INVITE THAT STUPID GIRL?! SHE'S JUST GONNA COMPLAIN!" Pluck shouted..
The atmosphere around Yami had suddenly grown dark which made Pluck pale up again. He told him as Pluck had been shaking, "IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, I CAN WORK YOU LIKE A DOG TILL YOU DROP DEAD. OR BETTER YET I CAN PULL YOU OFF DETAIL SEND YOU TO THE BASE PACKING AND HAVE YOU TAKE OVER EVERYONES CHORES."
Pluck gave a whimper as he said, "I-I'll let her know." He soon began to walk stiffly as he went in the direction Noelle went. "Bi-Bime i elena that worked?" Prism said shocked.
"He's definitely a devil…" Brenin said.
"It still freaks me out how you're like my brother in law, Zeid." Nolan said before he shrugged, "Then again it ain't exactly a bad thing."
"I remind you of the previous King?" Yami asked as he took a puff "I'm flattered."
Acer had commented, as he looked over at Yami, "Hmmm, I still don't see it."
"Of course you wouldn't" Nolan said. "The only thing you see are from women's restrooms."
"Hey hey, I'm respectful, mind you." Acer told him.
"Respectful-right.." Nolan said before he mumbled, "You fat bag of garbage."
Acer flinched before he said, "oh I know you didn't just call me that!"
"I did-what are you gonna do about it?" Nolan asked.
Acer only rolled up his sleeves as his grimoire floated by his side. "Outside...let's go."
SMACK-Went the hand of Gooden on Acer and Nolan's head which made the teens jump again. She told them both with a huff, "Honestly-not in front of the children!" she turned her back before she said. "Men!"
"You should get your things together-" William suggested, "-Knowing Nolan, he'd probably want to leave right away."
"Ri-Right of course!" Prism said with a smile before she picked up Theodore, "We'll be ready in no time!"
"Yeah, it sounds good!" Asta said, before he hurried up the stairs along with Prism, "Let's do this thing!"
"Hey! Wait for us!" Brenin said as he followed Prism.
"I wonder what I should bring!" Saorise said with excitement in her eyes.
"I'm definitely sharpening my blades for this!" Liam said as he ran up the stairs.
"Aw yeah!" The Triple A's, Vandy and Jubei cheered before they dashed up the stairs but a flash before the adults could even have a chance to stop them.
The look on Nolan's face soon changed as he looked to Yami, "Right then-" He said, "-Now that they're out of earshot, let's talk. What's been happening to my niece?"
