A/N: Well, this was supposed to be sad, but it ended up having a happy ending... like a Disney movie. Darn. Anyway, I know it's not exactly a tear-jerker, but I hope you enjoy this. Read and review, because I really wasn't too sure about posting this one... if it sucks, I swear I'll take it off. It's a bit short, I know. And quick. But I wrote this quickly, too. Sorry if it's bad! R&R!

'Til Death Do Us Part
Her heart pounded as she stared at his lifeless form before her eyes. They had aged together, and they had been great friends. Together, they had saved Hyrule. And they were all that was left of the great war. The other Sages had passed away, each of their lives taken . And now, Hero was gone, and she felt hopeless, as if no life were within her. She had no spirit, no soul. She was an empty shell without love.
"Why my gods?" she cried into the sky. "He saved Hyrule! Why must you take his life?" Tears stained her dress as she looked down at her hands, sobbing. It wasn't fair. It wasn't right. He deserved to be alive. He deserved to at least have his spirit alive and down on Hyrule! He deserved to be where he belonged, in her arms.
Suddenly, three balls of light fell from the sky, and the three goddesses, Farore, Din, and Nayru appeared before her eyes.
"Zelda," Farore said, "everyone's time comes." She placed a comforting hand on Zelda's back. The old woman continued to cry, though her beauty was not lost as she had aged.
Zelda continued to sob even more as lightning struck in the distance. Clouds came down, and she could have sworn she heard Link playing the Song of Storms, and yet, she feared she was losing her mind.
"Fear not, Zelda," said Nayru, "for soon you two will be re-united."
Zelda continued to cry. "You mean, my time will come soon?" Her wrinkled hands left her face.
Din nodded her head. "A year or two."
Zelda looked up angrily at the goddesses. "I cannot wait that long!" she exclaimed. "I need to be with Link!" She stood up. "Come take me!" she bellowed into the sky. "Come take me from this harsh world! Take me away!"
Link's words ran through her mind as she stood, pleaing for death. 'Til death do us part. She had to be with him. She couldn't let a thing like death get in the way.
She turned around to the goddesses. "I wish... I wish to be with Link." Then, she took his sword. "And with this sword, we shall be re-united." She raised the sword to her chest, the goddesses watching.
"Wait!" Farore cried. "There is an easier way!"
Zelda stopped and set the Master Sword down by Link. "How?"
"We..." Din choked, "could do it for you."
Zelda nodded her head. "Well, then, time for the greatest journey of all."
The goddesses nodded. "We will make sure you are with the Hero."
Zelda laid down and wrapped Link's arms around her. She snuggled in to his limp body, taking in his scent. "Now, please," she whispered, shutting her eyes slowly.
Her eyes were shut, and soon, she felt herself slowly slipping away.
She opened an eye, and she found herself see through and back to her youthful self. She looked to her right, and there, she saw Link. She smiled and took his hand, and together, they flew up the heavens.
She had passed away the way she wanted to. In his arms.
