Buenos Aires, Argentina…

Nina Williams made a daring escape from her arrest out of the Tekken Rebel Force camp in Tokyo with the help of her friend Edgar Grant. The took returned to the chopper and left Japan without even telling the other fighters who came with them, Steve Fox and Leo Kielsen. Nina did hope, however, that the two found the answer they were looking for. Especially Steve. She did hope perhaps one day, she could open herself up to him despite growing up away from her. But her assassin life was still very much a part of her identity, and she wasn't about to settle down only to become a target. So with that in mind, she temporarily seeked shelter at a mansion that was owned by a wealthy doctor named Enrico Ferrari. This doctor was an old friend of Nina's father, Richard Williams.

When Nina and Edgar made it to the front gate of the mansion, the sun was going down. Edgar asked Nina was she sure that the doctor would allow them to stay. Nina assured Edgar that the doctor was a generous man, even if he is aware about Nina's line of work. Nina got out of the rental car first and then Edgar followed her as she rang the doorbell.

A young woman appears at the door…

Woman: "Yes? How may I help you?"

Nina: "Hi. Is Doctor Ferrari home?"

Woman: "Yes. He just came back from shopping. May I ask your name please?"

Nina: "My name is Nina Williams and my friend behind me is Edgar Grant."

Woman: "Alright, one moment please." (Closing the door again.)

Edgar: "Well she was…quite charming."

Nina (Smirk): "Don't push your luck."

Edgar: "Just saying. Anyway, is this doctor fellow a likeable person?"

Nina: "He was more understanding than most men that I knew. I'm sure he will let us stay here until I can figure things out."

Edgar: "Let's hope so."

Soon Dr. Ferrari opens the door with his maid behind him…

Dr. Ferrari: "Nina? Is that really you?"

Nina: "Yes. I have returned here again."

Dr. Ferrari: "I did not think you would come back here again so soon."

Nina: "Yes. Much has happened since I was here last time."

Dr. Ferrari: "Come! Come inside! Let's sit at the living room and we can talk."

Nina and Edgar did as instructed. Dr. Ferrari and his maid, Adabel, were more than hospitable around the two. The doctor shared several stories about how he and Richard Williams would study together and traveled to different places across Europe. He was let down once he found out about Richard's death. At that time, Enrico Ferrari was already back in his home country of Argentina beginning his practice as a medical doctor. He even missed his friend's funeral.

However, Dr. Ferrari was told about his friend's death from Anna who remembered him well as a child. The doctor was aware about the family's struggles after Richard's death. The sisters did not get along, so he was careful not to ask about Anna's well being in front of Nina. Nina also refused to go back outside today, for it was too risky to eat in a public restaurant. So Dr. Ferrari asked Adabel to quickly cook a stew for them all to eat for dinner at the dining hall.

Nina ate her dinner very quickly and decided to retire in her guest bedroom for the rest of the night. She was just about to fall asleep, until her cell phone buzzed. Curiously, Nina looks on the screen. It was an American number. Something told her to answer it.

Nina: "Hello?"

Lee: "Nina! Darling! How are you doing tonight?"

Nina: "Never call me darling! Lee!"

Lee: "Oh! I'm sorry! Nina, you made quite the dramatic escape from your arrest. But not to worry. I won't tell anyone about this phone call. Just hear me out."

Nina: "What do you want Lee?"

Lee: "Feisty! Uuuu! Just the way I remember you Nina! Anyway, are you currently unemployed?"

Nina: "No. Of course not. And don't you go making fun of me!"

Lee: "I won't, this is a secret call like I said. But that's great! Because now that my father dead and the Zaibatsu is pretty much history. I'd figure that I should reach out to you and offer you a position under my company Violet Systems. So, what do you think?"

Nina: "You're kidding? Me work under you?"

Lee: "I don't think it is a bad idea. You will be paid more money under me than what Heihachi offered you, and you may also head the security task forces here. It's a solid deal!"

Nina (Sigh.): "What is the salary?"

Lee: "Initial start is 2 million per year."

Nina: "Hmmm…that is more than what Heihachi was giving me."

Lee: "So will you say yes?"

Nina: "Give me some time to think about it. I'm tired from traveling and talking ok?"

Lee: "Ah I understand. The offer will remain on the table. I will call again soon my dear Nina. May you have sweet dreams! Ciao!" (Hangs up.)

Nina (Hangs up too.): "You gotta be kidding me? Do I really want to take his offer? After that stunt he pulled all those years ago betraying Heihachi back then? Who is to say he wouldn't do it again if Kazuya comes back with plans to dominate the world once more? Ugh, I should just go to sleep. Too tired to even stress about this."

Nina turns off the bedroom lamp and sleeps…

The next day…

Nina woke up right after 8 AM when she heard noises from her bedroom door. It was just Adabel moving some things around the hallway. Nina still felt tired, but she decided to move around anyway and use the bathroom first. After that, she went downstairs to see Doctor Ferrari as he was preparing coffee in the kitchen. He delightedly greeted Nina once he saw her come in.

Doctor Ferrari: "Buenos dias Nina! Would you like coffee?"

Nina: "Sure, ummm. You have cream?"

Doctor Ferrari: "Yes, I do. Have a seat."

Nina sits by the counter on the stool and receives her cup of creamed coffee…

Doctor Ferrari: "How was your sleep?"

Nina: "It was good. But I'm still tired. I just…been a through a lot."

Doctor Ferrari: "I understand. I have had many tired days while working as a doctor, now that I have retired, it seems like I have forgotten that feeling altogether over the past two years. Which leads me to my question Nina."

Nina: "Huh?"

Doctor Ferrari: "Do you plan to retire from your line of work soon? What will you do if you did?"

Nina: "Me…doctor. I can't."

Doctor Ferrari: "Elaborate."

Nina: "My line of work has been apart of my identity. Sure I could stop what I am doing at any time, but sooner or later my enemies will find out where I stay and figure out my identity even if I change my name and appearance. It is just a matter of time before my peace becomes chaos again. So no, it is too risky to stop now."

Doctor Ferrari: Hmmm…that is unfortunate to hear, because I wouldn't want the same tragedy happen to you or your sister like what happened with Richard. That is what happens when we have too many enemies. We can only watch our backs for so long until is no more room to escape. Again, take this time to think about what you want to do next Nina. It is very important."

Nina: "Yes…I get it doctor. Thanks."

45 minutes later…

Nina continued to rest in her bed, until she heard the sound of the mansion doorbell. Who could that be? Well maybe it was for the doctor obviously. Then there was a knock on the door. It was Edgar speaking from Nina's guest bedroom door.

Edgar: "Nina? Nina, you there?"

Nina (Opens the door slightly.): "What's wrong?"

Edgar: "You are not going to believe who is here right now!"

Nina: "Get a grip Edgar! Just who is it?"

Edgar: "It's your sister!"

Nina: "What? Don't play with me Edgar! Serious?"

Edgar: "See for yourself!"

Nina: "Tch."

Nina and Edgar go downstairs towards the Mansion Foyer where the maid let in the very person Nina did not expect to see show up. There she was, dressed up in a fancy white tiger stripped mink coat with long black boots to match. Nina could not believe it! How did Anna find out where she was? Nina confronted her right as she was walking inside with the maid.

Nina: "I don't believe this! What are you doing here?"

Anna: "Why hello sister! I am so glad to see you are well! Hey, you know I heard about your great escape back there in Japan! I didn't even know you were under arrest! Like how did that happen?"

Nina: "Never mind that! Just explain to us what you are doing here?"

Dr. Ferrari: "Oh me oh my! It is you Anna!" (Approaches Anna.)

Anna: "Doctor Ferrari! It's been too long! Oooooo!" (Hugs him tight while he blushes.)

Edgar (See's Nina turning red in anger.): "Easy Nina. Keep your cool."

Dr. Ferrari: "Its amazing that you sisters never aged even during cryogenic sleep. Tell me! How have you been?"

Anna: "I have been very busy doctor, I mean just the other day, I practically saved the world from total annihilation. So do forgive me for coming here unannounced, but really had to find out where Nina was. And thankfully my connections led me here. But my goodness! It's so good to meet you again doctor!"

Dr. Ferrari: "Ho ho! Anna Your father did a fine job raising you ladies. Come! Come! Let us have some tea! Or are you hungry?"

Anna: "Tea would be perfect doc!"

Nina: "You are just going to let her stay doctor?"

Dr. Ferrari: "Of course Nina. She must want something to discuss. The day is young and you both have been through a lot so please relax. Adabel, I will prepare the tea. Why don't you show Anna around the mansion for a bit eh?"

Adabel: "Yes doctor. Anna, please follow me."

Anna: "My pleasure."

Nina (mumbling after walking away.): "I can't believe this sh*t."

The past several minutes was very tense between the sisters. That is until the doctor coerced them to talk it out. Anna tracked down Nina with a surprising request. The request was to join her at G Corporation until Nina could find a job equal to Anna's. Nina immediately disliked that idea and felt offended that Anna considered her inferior now that the Zaibatsu was no more as a conglomerate. Then Nina spilled the beans about getting offered to work under Lee Chaolan for Violet Systems. This caught everyone's attention until Nina made it clear that she remained undecided on accepting that job offer. Anna pleaded to Nina not to join Lee until Nina told her to f*ck off.

Edgar: "Knock it off ladies! We can't settle this without a cat fight?"

Anna: "Nina, your friend is ugly and he's got an insolent tongue!"

Nina: "At least he's cuter than you." (Winks.)

Anna: "Uuuuuu!" (Fuming!)

Adabel steps in to hold Anna in her place…

Adabel: "At ease Ms. Williams!"

Anna (Surprised.): "Huh?"

Doctor Ferrari (Laughing.): "I agree! Violence won't solve this. How about you two come to a compromise in a more civil manner?"

Everyone looks at the doctor in confusion…

Doctor Ferrari: "Let's try a game…like…ehhh…Go!"

Edgar: "Like…Chinese checkers?"

Doctor Ferrari: "Yes! I believe it's an excellent idea! Whoever loses has to do what the winner says! What do you think girls?"

Nina and Anna looked and then they both nodded…

Nina: "Deal!"

Anna: "Alright doc! Prepare the game!" (To Adabel.) "And…you young lady. You can let me go now."

Adabel: "If you will excuse me." (Walks off to get the Go board game.)

Doctor Ferrari (Thinks): "I can't believe that actually worked!"
