Hey readers! This is my first fan fiction. I watched DBZ as a kid and hated how the human characters became irrelevant later on. This fan fiction will tell of 3 characters from DBZ in the world of Young Justices' DC. Now first off the 3 characters will not be dominating every fight, and they won't gain sudden power boosts unless through extremely harsh training, or maybe I'll pull a Toriyama and make a power device, or maybe a zenkai, *wink*wink, besides that their power will be respected and shown. Another thing to know is that the DC characters will not be weaklings either. This is my own version of the young justice universe. I chose DC because there it doesn't matter just how strong you are, but skill, experience, and versatility in powers also factor in.

Dragon Ball Earth - Age 774
She felt so useless. She had no way to help them against that demon. It didn't matter if she trained for years straight, she would never be strong enough to help. Spopovichs' punches still shook her mind.
She was there. She had watched the TV as a little girl when the Saiyans invaded. Read the history books of King Piccolos' defeat by Son Goku. She had felt a chill as Cell announced his tournament 5 years later, then destroyed the worlds' armies with a flick of his wrist.
Now she was right in the middle of the battle of the ages with the Z-Warriors off fighting Majin Buu, and she felt useless. Just months ago, she lived in a smaller world. Stopping thugs twice her size with years of her martial arts prowess.
But that wouldn't work here. Simple punches and kicks would not stop Kid Buu from destroying the world, again anyway. The might of Earth's greatest warriors could, no they would save the world.
'They have to, right?' thought Videl.
She could fe-no, sense the fight happening between Buu and Goku. Even if her training wasn't complete. With her only power level barely reaching 100. That much ki tossed around could be sensed by anyone with even a day of training in the skill of sensing.
"Amazing, isn't it?" said a figure. Looking to her right she saw Tien Shinhan. She had heard of him. Master of the Crane style and Champion of the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai.
"Every time Goku comes back, he always seems to get stronger, I've never sensed a fight like this before. It's incredible what Saiyans are capable of," Tien remarked nostalgically.
Revived alongside her just like the rest of the world after Kid Buu's Rampage, "Yeah it'll be even better when all this is over," said Videl.
"Right, hey you're Gohan's student, right?" Tien inquired. "Come around and I can teach you some techniques. The Crane school is the original creator of the Air Walk technique, you know."
"Yeah, I just might," Videl said smiling, "I remember some of your othe-what the!"
Suddenly, the entire world started to shake, strange flashing, rifts appearing all around. Right next to her one of them appeared. Distracted by the quakes she didn't notice the rift near herself, being pulled in.
Moments Before on Kaioshins Planet
"Thank you everyone!" shouted Son Goku, throwing the Spirit Bomb with the genki of entire worlds at Kid Buu for their ultimate climax, "This is the end for you, Buu!"
"RRRRAAAAGGH!" Kid Buu shouted defiantly. But something changed that other timelines didn't experience. Kid Buu, in his final moments expanded his ki out. Attempting the same technique, he had when he was Buuhan. The Vice Shout. A move that allowed a being with a high enough ki to warp dimensions with a shout of power.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUU!" shouted the pink monster.
"Noo!" Goku shouted, but it was already too late. Portals started to open around them all over the universe.
In the distance Vegeta kneeled, "He's trying to take us all with him to oblivion!" not noticing a rift appear right behind until it's flashes reached his eyes, weakened, and in his base form he couldn't react in time, and it pulled him in.
"Damn you!" Vegeta shouted, as he disappeared from the universe
Goku turned to face his rival as the prince's visage disappeared into the rift making Goku let out a cry, "Vegeta!"
Suddenly, he heard the sound of Dende, talking all the way from Namek, 'Goku! We used the third wish to restore your power back to normal!'
Goku was surprised before chuckling, "He ha, hey you're right! Woohoo, it's back! Thanks, thank you guys, wow."
Feeling his power, he felt as his body changed, transforming into a Super Saiyan as he pushed back against Kid Buu, and as he knew this was the final bout, Goku began to reminisce about all his battles with Buu, though, even with all Buu had done, the Saiyan hoped.
"I hope you'll come back as a better person one day, who knows? Perhaps we'll have a little one on one?" Goku said with a smile. "But I won't allow you to hurt anyone anymore, this is the end for you Buu, AAARRRGGHH!" shouted Goku, putting more force into the Spirit Bomb.
Back on Earth, the Z-Warriors who had been saving civilians from the portals sensed what seemed like the end of this monster.
At once the Z-Fighters all shouted, "Do it!"
Finally, with one last roar, Majin Buu was defeated, or so it seemed.
When Buu was being atomized a small piece of himself entered one of the rifts. Sending him to a universe that had not yet tasted his destruction.
Floating in the air, the battle seemingly concluded, Goku looked back at the spot his friend disappeared and thought morbidly, 'Vegeta.'
Back on Earth
"Videl!" Tien roared, seeing her being pulled into the rift, and reached for her. Videl's body was halfway in the rift, and Tien couldn't pull her out. After several moments of struggling, he was pulled along with her.
Soon they were both tumbling through dimensions. The very energy flashing wildly in front of their faces, the energies ravaging their bodies. Tien opened his eyes, finding Videl screaming in pain, "Gggahhh!"
Grabbing onto her Tien created a ki barrier around the both of them to protect them, but she was unconscious. The flashes and damage to her body had gotten to her. Looking around he saw many different worlds. On one, there was a massive gray dinosaur-like being with spiky dorsal fins on its back shooting a blue beam of plasma from its maws similar to a Kamehameha wave.
Another had a young brown haired emerald eyed boy with a strange green watch with the feature of a neon green hourglass on its screen that created a flash of green when he pressed down on it while shouting, "Hero time!"
Turning his head another way, he saw a man in strange red and gold armor covering his body with a glowing circle on his chest shooting what seemed to be ki blasts.
Finally, the flashes seized. "What the... where are we?" said a stunned Tien.
He floated in the air holding onto Videl in the sky at the dead of night, it was raining with clouds releasing lighting, but that couldn't be right. It was daytime when they were taken, and there was definitely no storm. Tien dissipated the ki barrier. Using his senses to search for their friends but all he could sense were billions of ki signatures he wasn't familiar with. Not only that there were kis that felt even stronger than himself, while others felt far below his level.
'I'm sensing massive energies coming this way fast! I have to move quickly!' Tien held onto Videl tightly and flew away, easily moving faster than sound many times over, as the storm covered his exit.
Nearly a minute later a group of people had arrived several times past the sound barrier themselves. All wearing strange attire. One man had an S symbol on his chest with blue skintight mesh over his body, black and blue eyes. Another was a woman with red, blue, and gold armor with similar features. The least human looking one was a man with green skin, red eyes, with a red x, blue cape, complemented by black skintight cloth.
The man with the S looked around with his enhanced vision but saw nothing for miles, meanwhile the green man expanded his mind, but Tien sensed the telepathic wave and closed his mind off with the help of his training.
The man touched a device in his ear. "Superman to the Watchtower. We're at the location of the energy readings, but we don't see anything."
Young Justice Earth's
"Don't worry Supes, we'll catch whoever it was sooner or later, though I'm pretty sure I would have arrived sooner," said the Flash, The Fastest Man Alive.
"The portal was in the clouds, Barry, and I'm quite sure you can't fly," quipped Green Arrow.
Batman soon entered soundlessly, "Be serious," his words causing the two heroes to jump.
"Woah!" gasped Flash and Green Arrow, as Batman seemingly appeared from thin air.
But the Dark Knight talked past they're gasps, "We have no idea what could have come from that portal, it could be one of Darkseid's allies or a villain trying out a new weapon."
Green Arrow looked down at the Earth through the clear window, "Okay, Bats, we'll look more into it."
Batman nodded before turning and giving his final words "I'll brief the team on these energy readings."
Once they made sure he was out of sight, Green Arrow and Flash breathed a sigh of relief.
"Jeez that guy can scare like no other," said Flash.
"Agreed… Hey wanna watch something else on these supercomputers?" said the Archer.
Flash smiled, "Yeah what did you have in mind?"
Batman stood outside the room, 'Portals don't just show up, someone or something was sent here.'
Soon the teleporter came online with a flash, letting out a feminine robotic-like voice, "Recognized Superman 01, Wonder Woman 03, Martian Manhunter 07."
Seeing Batman, Superman approached him, "Sorry Bruce, I nor Manhunter were able to find anything from the energy readings."
"It's alright we can investigate later, for now we brief the team. Those energy traces were quite strong, stay cautious, it could be a new enemy," warned Batman.
Walking to the teleporter again coming online, "Recognized Batman 02."
Moving forward Batman looked into the cave seeing The Team, or as they called themselves Young Justice. A team of superhero protégés consisting of Robin, Superboy, Kid Flash, Artemis, Miss Martian, and Aqualad with their real names being Richard, Connor, Wally, Artemis, M'gann, and Kaldur.
Their leader Aqualad came forward, "Do you have a mission for us Batman?"
"No, I'm here to brief you. Several minutes ago, the picked up strange energy readings in a storm, Green Lantern is off world but once he returns, we'll have him use his ring to scan the readings location and find the source of whatever came through, if you see any new arrivals warn us of them and contact the League," the Team nodded.
After Batman's briefing he talked further with Aqualad on their status since the Team's last mission that caused them to lose and later restored 6 months of their memories back.
"Don't worry guys, it's probably some villain testing a weapon. The League or even us will catch them within a week, we've got nothing to worry about," said Wally.
"Ugh, please the heroes will, while you're tripping over your own feet," joked Artemis,
"Hey!" Wally said in protest.
"C'mon guys not today, you two are always at each other's throats!" Robin complained, raising his hands in exasperation.
"Stay out of this Rob!" they both shouted in response, surprise filling both of them before glaring back at each other.
"Ugh, those two. Hey, Miss Martian wanna go bake some cookies?" Robin asked.
Miss Martian almost looked offended she didn't think of it first, and said with a smile, "Of course Robin let me go get Superboy!"
Floating over to him she asked the same question, but he politely refused. She came over, the smile now a little less genuine, "Seems like Superboy isn't in the mood. He says he'll just watch TV static while we cook, Artemis and Wally's arguing is ringing in his ears. The static calms him down."
"I just hope those energy readings were just some just some villain like Wally said, we don't need some big bad guy to come out of nowhere," said Robin, walking toward the Cave's kitchen with Megan.
Or so he thought, little did the Boy Wonder know of the times ahead.
Dragon Ball Earth
The remaining Z-Warriors were all relieved the portals had stopped appearing. Putting the civilians down knowing they wouldn't hurt anyone no longer. They all flew at near light speeds toward the lookout. Piccolo was the first to arrive, less than a blink later followed by Gohan, Goten, and Trunks.
"Gohan!" Chi-Chi let out as she ran up to her son, bawling her eyes, hoping for a split second to never let go.
Bulma soon walked up hearing two voices, "Hey Mom!" looking down both Chi Chi and Bulma saw Goten and Trunks, their eyes tearing up as they hugged their sons, chuckling, the other members of the Z-Gang surrounding them smiling.
After catching up for a few minutes Kibito Kai teleported Goku, Hercule, Dende, and Fat Buu to the lookout. Walking into sight they greeted their friends and family, "Hey!" Goku said with a wave, while Dende laughed with his hands waving, laughing all the while. The Son family ran over Goten jumping into Goku's arms, Dende running into 's with a hug, putting a small smile on even Piccolo's face.
Hercule looked around with a confused look on his face, "Hey, where's Videl, where's my little girl!?" he cried, Fat Buu rubbing his back as comfort.
Everyone looked around, Gohan quickly used his ki sense to look for her, "Wha? I can't find her, and Tien is gone as well."
"Hey! Where's Vegeta!?" questioned Bulma
A grim look came onto Goku's face. "I'm sorry Bulma, but Ve-Vegeta was sucked into one of the rifts during the battle. I… I wasn't able to save him. During our battle against him as Vegito, our own fusion, he attempted a move that warped dimension. He attempted the same thing in his last moments. It created those rifts from earlier, and from the sound of it, Tien and Videl were taken as well."
A spark shined in Bulma's eyes, "Wait, warping dimensions? Maybe I can build something. Wait! I still have Future Trunks's old time machine. I can modify it to take us through dimensions instead of time! Ha ha."
Trunks looked up confused at his mother, "Wait, Future Trunks?"
"Don't worry sweetie, I'll tell you about it later. We'll find the dimension Vegeta, Tien, and Videl are in, don't you worry guys," Bulma said with a glint of determination in his eyes.
"Yeah, who knows maybe I'll find someone strong to fight, ha ha," said Goku, right before a frying pan hit him in the head.
"No Goku! We just got done with that monster Majin Buu, I'm not going through another nightmare!" Chi-Chi screamed.
"Okay, okay! Jeez," Goku said, rubbing his head while everyone sweat dropped.
Bulma looked into the sky with a confident look on her face, 'Don't worry Vegeta. I'll find you.'
World of War
A rift appeared over a strange planet, releasing a spiky haired man. Vegeta stood from the impact, weakened from his fight with Kid Buu. Immediately, a collar shot around his neck sending millions of volts flowing through his body, "GGRAAUUGHH!" the cause of it by mental commands of a towering figure via a headband device.
"Well, I wondered what could have come from such energy readings, I wonder how you'll do in my arena?" said the Ruler of War World, Mongul.
Vegeta looked up at Mongul, "I'll make sure you get more than you bargain, you freak!" Mongul sent mental commands shocking him with a higher voltage.
"Many have tried," he said with a sinister smirk. He looked at his slave guards, "Throw him into the pits."
Hey, readers! I hope you enjoyed my first chapter. Took me a while to make it, but that's what you get when you only type on your phone. Just to remind those who swear DB characters can destroy anyone, these are my own versions of the character, the DB characters will not be depowered in any way, but I watched DB, DBZ, and Super and have read DC Comics for some time now. I know that some DC characters can beat the Z-Fighters and vice versa, these are the Buu Saga characters, Vegeta at this point is Multi Solar System if not Semi-Multi Galaxy level at this point, not Super where they're destroying universes. The reason he was captured so easily by Mongul is because he was weakened in his base form. Mongul can go toe to toe with Superman. Another factor to level in is that some characters will be able to defeat others not just on their power level, but also because of their unique powers. Just so everyone knows this version of Superman is on levels similar to Buu Saga Goku. If I had made the story about Vegito he would be able to defeat pretty much anyone.
