******Please Read!******

Sup ya fucks! Sorry about the serious delay in my chapters.

Anyway, this is the chapter to show Videl's first mission with the team. And for any of those who are into Greek mythology some aspects of this chapter will be inspired from that. This'll be a two-part chapter so I hope you like it. And tell me what I can improve on. The other part should come soon.

Also for those that are looking for power scaling. Look at the top and bottom of chapter 1: Human Ambition.

I'll try to bust out a chapter near Christmas, so stay tuned for that.

Enjoy!

Elis, Greece. Three Days Before Present Time

On the other side of the world, it was a seemingly calm night in the beautiful land of Greece, the former home of the Greek Gods. In a part of Elis was the old grounds of an ancient temple of a God. Standing in the middle of the sacred temple grounds was a man of sinister intentions.

Killing many in the past and a great profession in the world of the occult stood Felix Faust. Standing with a purple garb. He was an ancient sorcerer from around 5,000 B.C. whose soul had been trapped thousands of years before, but in the 1920's had found a body from a wannabe magician he had taken as his own.

Fortunately for the rest of the world he had been severely weakened, so he used the souls of others, even children, to bargain with demons for power.

Through the years he had gained enemies in the Justice Society of America, and the Justice League, specifically the Lord of Order, Dr. Fate.

He had been searching for a way to summon a God of great power to take hold of this world. Something that not even the Justice League could defeat. Raising his hand he chanted an ancient incantation created thousands of years before.

"Surge haec orbem terrarum quondam iterum. De inferis regem vobis constituitis venite et hoc mundo tua, et ultima knowledge mihi et notitiam de Deo!" Faust chanted in Latin.

With these words the ground around him started to rise with a strange purple glow. The Earth around the eroded grounds of the temple shook for several moments before it ceased.

Suddenly, the ground in front of Faust opened, revealing a portal in its place, which he gladly walked through.

He opened his eyes to see a grand city with ghosts styled with Ancient Greek garbs on their figures. He looked around himself, using his magic to search for what he seeked.

His magic pointed him not to the city, but the ocean near it. He walked for miles towards the beach of the city and with a quiet chant the water separated nearly a three-quarter mile into the ocean.

Without complaint he walked towards the end of the wall of water and saw a strange sight for something underwater. A pomegranate tree. Grabbing a pomegranate, he tore it open and dropped its seeds into the ground.

After a moment the ground opened, revealing a large deep staircase. Lining the walls of the staircase were bones and skulls of what seems to be thousands of warriors from a forgotten time. Reaching the bottom he saw the ceiling hundreds of feet above his head, and the end of the cave nearly a mile long. Numerous skeletons of ancient warriors were on either side of the cave, each skeleton having a weapon of some kind, some appearing to even have wands.

The cave was lined with structures such as doric columns scattered about. Chains on the walls and torches lighting the area.

He looked at the end of the cave, seeing a throne with a strange glowing figure floated. But while he couldn't truly make out its appearance, he could sense the sheer power coming from it's being. An aura of death surrounding it, confirming his assumption of this being's identity.

"Lord of the Underworld! I have come to set your walk upon this world once more!" Faust said.

"And you are, sorcerer?" the God questioned.

"I am a man that seeks power in knowledge. The knowledge of the gods, my Lord. Give it to me and I will make sure you are to become whole once again," Faust explained with a boast in his voice.

The essence glowed before taking on a more physical form. A man of great height, with a bearded face, and strong frame took his place, but his eyes were the most unique. His irises were black, so black you could not see the pupils, almost as if his eyes were everywhere and on you at once, in his hand was a bident nearly as tall as him.

With a smile he spoke, "Bring me out of this dimension, and I will gladly consider it."

Young Justice Cave

"Grhh! Hah! Yah!" Videl shouted. A pink demon floated in front of her as she threw every punch and kick she knew and then some. He taunted her without care, knowing that even if she did land a punch, it would be for naught. He was just too strong, knowing that even if she could somehow become a Super Saiyan her attacks would do nothing but make him chuckle a little more.

Suddenly her world became blurred as she felt a punch to the gut. Looking down to see the demon's fist embedded in her stomach, right before a ki blast sent her into oblivion for the sixteenth time. She opened her eyes with a growl, a bead of sweat going down her forward as she immersed herself back into her image training.

Robin looked at her as she meditated in a spot of the mission room. These past three weeks she had been training herself, and by extension, him, to death. Every day was brutal, the only reason he hadn't quit was because of his years of harsh training with Batman, and the discipline he learned from that experience. He had managed to build his strength and speed, and swore he nearly floated off the ground while meditating.

Though he noticed after the first that week Videl was training herself into the ground. She would spend hours simply shadow boxing and lifting weights. Sometimes meditating for hours at a time with a face of intense concentration.

On other days she would spar with Superboy, but the Boy of Steel didn't want to spend all day training. Though he did seem to control his anger better as he would join sometimes in their meditation.

The only reason she wasn't punching the air at super-speeds or suffering the weight of the gravity chamber was because Batman was giving them a mission today, their first official one with Horizon.

She had suddenly become obsessive from something Crane had told her the weeks before, and it looked like nothing was going to stop her.

"She's still going at it?" Robin heard, looking behind himself to see Conner.

Robin sighed "Yeah, what do you think Crane said to her?"

"I don't know, but I've heard her whisper a word, or maybe a name for the past week. Something like… Buu?" Conner said.

"Buu? You and her went on a little mission of your own weeks ago, right? Did she ever talk about anything that happened to her before she came around?" Robin asked, wondering if he could find out just a little bit more about her to help.

"She… she d–" Conner started, but was interrupted by the Zeta-Tube.

Walking out it was Batman, and a certain magician.

"Zatanna, hey!" Robin greeted. Zatanna walked up to the both of them, looking behind them both to see Horizon as still as a statue.

"So, that's Horizon, huh?" Zatanna inquired.

"Yep, in all her sitting glory," Robin responded.

Walking out the Lounge area came the rest of the Team, who heard the Zeta-Tube. Wally walked towards them, if his speed walk could really be called that, "Hey, Supes, Rob. Ready for our mission?"

They both nodded, and Videl finally opened her eyes as she stood. She walked towards the group, but stayed silent, feeling frustrated but knowing she couldn't do anything against the pink monster.

"Looks like someone finally took a breather," said Artemis. She still didn't trust Videl, but could respect her rigorous training, barring the obsession.

"Enough talk," said Batman, silencing them all. "Zatara has informed us that an area in Elis, Greece, has had strange fluctuations of magic. We will be sending you over there to investigate the anomaly, but if anything that is too much for you happens, make sure to contact the League," Batman said, making the Team nod in response.

They started to walk to the Bio-Ship, but Zatanna passed some glances at Videl, "So, I heard that Horizon is training you, huh?" she asked Robin.

"Yeah, it's beyond brutal, but I've definitely gotten stronger and faster. I haven't managed to shoot any blasts though or fly though," Robin said with some level of disappointment in his tone.

"Don't worry Robin, you'll get it sooner or later," chimed Zatanna. "You don't mind if I have a little chat with your… sensei," she asked.

"Try, if you can?" Robin obliged as they entered the Bio-Ship.

She sat on the seat behind Videl to the left of the ship. Looking at Videl's head. Her hood hid her features, but could see her blue eyes vacant as they stared forward, "Um, hey, Horizon?"

"Wha–" Videl let out, finally coming out her trance as the seat turned around, moments after the Bio-Ship flew off.

Zatanna chuckled a little, "Hey, it's alright. I was pretty nervous on my first mission too. Having to save lives does that to you."

The daughter of Hercule sighed, "No, it's not that. Something from my past has come up, and may still be around."

Then, VIdel gained an idea in her head.

"Zatanna, you use magic, right?" she asked with a serious expression.

"Yeah," Zatanna said with some surprise.

"Could you say, negate something magical, like if someone's body was pure magic?" Videl questioned.

"I don't know, I've never met someone made of magic, it depends how strong the magic is," Zatanna said. Videl immediately remembered how Majin Buu was able to contend with Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan, not to mention that there were heroes he could absorb on this planet.

"It's alright, just thinking of a problem," Videl said.

"Is it the-world-going-to-end, problem?" Robin cut in.

Wally chuckled, "Don't worry Horizon, we deal with the world ending on a daily basis. The League will deal with it, it can't be that bad," the young speedster boasted.

Videl's eyes narrowed, standing up as she opened her mouth for a rebuttal, but Aqualad intervened, "What Kid Flash means to say, is that you won't face this problem alone, Horizon. You have us, and the League, to help," Kaldur calmly stated.

Videl looked out of the window of the Bio-Ship as she sat back down. Kaldur looked at Wally with a warning expression, making Wally sit in his seat a little deeper.

After some time they finally arrived in Elis, Greece. It was nighttime on this side of the world, causing the Team to touch the respective parts of their suits to change the colors to stealth mode. Remembering the feature, Videl touched the kanji on her heart, noticing the dark purple turn black, and her kanji symbol to turn a dark gray.

They touched down to the earth, noticing the ancient ruins in front of them. Seeing the size of the ruins Kaldur gave his orders, "Alright, Kid Flash, use your speed to survey the area. Horizon, fly above the area and use your ability to sense for lifeforms. Miss Martian, activate our link, and fly with Horizon to scan for any minds."

'Alright,' the three said through the link, going out to follow their orders. Meanwhile, the rest of the Team walked into the ruins, Zatanna in the lead as she searched for any magic. 'So, what is this place?' questioned Artemis.

Robin pulled up his gauntlet, 'This land is where the Temple of Hades once stood. Think that has anything to do with the magic we're trying to find?'

'Who knows? Maybe someone's trying to bring him back?' Zatanna theorized.

Soon, the three came back, 'What did you find?' asked Aqualad.

'Nothing, there's no one here besides us,' answered Kid Flash.

'Same here,' answered Videl, as she landed with Miss Martian.

'I have an idea, I'll just use a spell to show us what happened,' with that, Zatanna chanted, "ereh deneppah tahw su wohS."

What they didn't notice as she chanted were several strange runes on rocks outside of the ruins that started to glow. Suddenly, the glows grew into a blinding light, but the Team noticed it too late, finding themselves blinded.

After several moments the ruins were empty once more.

Wally woke up some half an hour later, raising his head and feeling hard rock beneath him as he pushed himself to stand, "What the-?" Kid Flash questioned, shaking his head. He remembered they were in the ruins until a strange flash blinded them all. He stood up looking around himself to see he was in the bottom of a... canyon?

The canyon around him seemed to go on for miles, and while he could cross it in no time if he wanted to, he was curious as to where he was, or if there was anyone willing to kill him just because.

He looked towards the top of the canyon and was surprised to see its height similar to the Grand Canyon. Turning around to see the middle of the canyon had a flowing stream of water. Kid sped over to the water to see the direction it flowed in, 'Okay, the water is flowing down so the origin of water should be coming from there,' he thought. Then, he heard a roar like nothing he'd ever heard come from the direction the water was coming from.

Immediately he stood, then, quicker than sound, got into a runner's stance. Propelling himself forward he broke the sound barrier after his first step, sediment shooting up behind his heels.

He looked around and stayed near the middle of the canyon, his speed allowing him to run on the water as it started to grow in width. Even after several minutes of moving faster than sound he noticed the canyon seemed to be longer than he originally believed, and easily sped into the movement of supersonic speed.

The great canyon became more expansive as he ran. Sometime after he looked at the canyon's walls around him, he finally reached the origin of the water.

It was a large lake, at least the size of a large town and seemed to go deep below the water, large spear-head like rocks shooting from its surface. He quickly ran across it, but not before noticing something floating above the water, and quickly recognized it, "Aqualad!" He said with a grin, but it dropped as he noticed the water around Aqualad was mixed with his blood.

Quickly he lifted Aqualad up, running to a beach on the other side of the lake. Not noticing the large shape in the lake behind them.

Once Kid Flash reached the beach he set Aqualad on the ground gently, noticing cuts and even some burn marks on his person. After a few moments he started to come around, muttering something, but Kid Flash spoke first "Oh, I'm lucky you can't drown Aqualad, otherwise I'd have to do CPR, and we both don't want that." Kid Flash said with a slight chuckle.

Suddenly, Aqualad's eyes shot open, his mutterings finally finding their strength as he shouted, "Kid, move!" he warned, shoving him out of the way and rolled in the opposite direction. Just as he did a large shape hit where they were in the sand. Both quickly stood, Aqualad getting out a single water bearer as the other had been lost some minutes previously, and Kid Flash stood, his eyes widening at what stood in front of him.

Standing at over forty feet tall, with the width of several cars, and nearly as long as an eighteen-wheeler, stood what Wally had guessed made that roar minutes earlier… a hydra. It's scales were a sky-blue color, with a white underbelly, and in the ridges in its mouth filled with teeth that looked like it could shred steel. The eyes had lizard-like pupils with a yellow high, but only one of the heads had horns. It almost looked beautiful if it wasn't too terrifying. But as all hydras it's most famous feature were its heads. It originally had nine, but Wally noticed that two of the heads seemed to be cut off and cauterized.

"So, I guess this is what that roar came from right, Aqualad!" Kid Flash joked, to bring light out of the situation, but mostly to calm himself. Aqualad had no words as he charged at the Hydra with a battle cry, and gouged out one of its eyes, making the head recoil in pain with a roar. Meanwhile, the other head's focused on Wally, trying to take a bite out of him. Just as Kid Flash dodged the attempt, he noticed that some of the teeth in the hydra's mouth were missing as he moved around the hydra. Courtesy of Aqualad, he supposed.

As he moved, he noticed a glimmer come from one of the spear-head-like rocks shooting up from the surface. Focusing on it for a second, he saw the object clearly. It was one of Aqualad's water bearers, stuck in the crevices of one of the rocks. Thinking of a distraction he started to run around the hydra over and over at high speeds, attempting to daze it for at least a few seconds.

After it's vision seemed to become warped as it tried to follow Kid Flash's movement, he shot off back into the lake, quickly grabbing the water bearer. He turned and came back, but one of the heads recovered and opened its maw, releasing a torrent of flames at the young speedster.

Kid moved out of the way of the flame but ran face first into its tail as it whipped him a dozen feet back, nearly breaking his jaw, and causing him to lose his grip on the water bearer as it flew through the air and fell on the sand.

As the hydra began to advance more on Kid Flash, Aqualad jumped on top of its back and cut off two more of its heads in one swing, quickly putting a sword in the stump while laying his hand on the other and electrocuted the stumps, cauterizing it's wounds so it wouldn't regenerate. The roar that resulted nearly ruptured Wally's ears.

Now with only five heads, Aqualad jumped from the beast's hide, landing near Wally, and helping him stand, "Heh, you cauterize the wound so he wouldn't regenerate, just like in Hercules's second labor," Wally said, noting the literal millennia old strategy against the hydra.

"So, what's our next move?" Wally asked.

Aqualad crouched to pick up the water-bearer Kid Flash dropped, "Since you can't cauterize any of the heads, simply try to distract. I will use the lake's water to electrocute it, and hopefully stun it enough to allow me to cut off the remaining heads."

Kid Flash nodded, running towards the hydra just as it seemed to recover. He began to run around the hydra. Occasionally punching at the heads that tried to take a bite out of him. Meanwhile Aqualad ran over to the lake, his tattoos glowing as he manipulated large amounts of water to come further up shore. Just as he seemed to call on enough water, Wally was bombarded by the remaining five heads, as they simultaneously spewed fire in his direction.

Seeing this, Aqualad turned the water he collected into a stream that doused the hydra. One of the heads turned its attention away from Wally and spewed fire at Aqualad instead, causing him to gather even more water into the stream, small amounts of vapor came from the struggle, but Aqualad quickly overpowered the fire. Soon, the entire hydra was covered in enough water to fill a cargo container.

Taking his chance Aqualad jumped on the hydra once more, his tattoos glowing as he put both hands onto its scales and electrocuted it with all he could give. The hydra roared once more as it felt it's blood boil inside of its veins. After nearly half a minute, Aqualad stopped. Seeing the enemy stunned he proceeded to cut off the remaining heads, cauterizing each one as quickly as he could.

Wally breathed a sigh of relief as he saw the fight was finally over. "Alright, now since that's done. Where in the world are we?!" he shouted, bringing his hands up to grab at his hair.

Aqualad turned to him, looking just as confused as he shook his head, "I don't know Kid, after that strange light appeared I woke up here in this lake, as I tried to leave the hydra attacked me, and you know the rest."

"Sigh, alright we should move through that forest, right?" he said, motioning towards that luscious green forest beyond the beach.

"Agreed, scout ahead, and stay cautious. We don't know what other creatures could be around," Aqualad warned. Kid Flash gave a thumbs up, before speeding towards the forest, Aqualad not too far behind.

On top of a mountain that touched the clouds, lay the Boy of Steel, Superboy. Luckily because of his physiology he was able to survive the thin air at such a height. His hearing was the one thing that woke him up first, hearing the sound of wind hitting the side of the mountain. His next sensation was the cold breeze that fully opened his eyes.

He stood up, looking around himself to see he was at the peak of a mountain, with even some clouds below where he stood. 'This must be what it's like to fly,' but Superboy dropped the thought quickly and looked around. "M'gann?! Horizon?! Aqualad?!" he yelled, his voice carrying an echo along the mountain, but no one answered his call.

"Damn it," he muttered, irritation at the situation coursing through him, his anger issues not helping.

After a moment, Superboy breathed in and out for several moments, just as Black Canary and Horizon had taught him to control himself. Thinking, he used his thermal vision to look through the mountain and stressed his hearing to detect any sounds. After a few moments, his ears detected the sounds of water hitting each other. Walking towards the source he found himself in a large cave on the side of the mountain. It was quite large with a deep pond in the middle, water coming through from a crack in the ceiling, most likely from the snow above.

Though what Superboy found strange was that it was in the shape of a perfect circle, alerting him that it was manmade, he also noted pots with a smell of rotten fruit, alcohol.

Suddenly he heard large footsteps start to come his way, causing him to get into a stance if anything tried to fight him. The steps came closer and closer, until it finally revealed itself. Standing at fifteen feet tall, a thick black beard, and a single brown eye looking at Superboy stood a cyclops the width of a truck.

"Who are you?!" Superboy shouted.

But the cyclops looked at Superboy calmly. Raising a hand to show he meant no harm, "Pretty damn rude for the one actually trespassing," the cyclops answered with a baritone voice.

He walked past Superboy and entered the large pond with a content sigh, making Superboy realize it was a tub. The cyclops took another glance at Superboy seeing him with his arms folded, but no less cautious. The cyclops sighed before saying, "If you must know, I'm Osar. And you are?" Osar questioned.

"Superboy. Where are we?" the kryptonian hybrid questioned quite rudely, his confusion leading to impatience.

"Well to put it simply, we're in a pocket dimension. Now you're probably wondering, how am I in a pocket dimension?" Osar then looked at Superboy to see his frozen expression, "I'll take that as a yes," Osar said.

"Okay, I'll tell you quick and easy. A wizard, a friend, Anesh, created this dimension in his final battle with a god. Just as the Gods of Olympus and other pantheons are a part of your world's origins, he was the origin of this one. He was known as a homo-magi, a descendant of magic. But he was also a demigod, The Son of Melinoe, goddess of spirits. As a child he was able to see the spirits of those long dead, they would tell him of their travels when he was young. As he left his home, he traveled the world with the spells his father had taught him, the lands he ventured across are the lands of this world. Magic is the way this dimension was created, and it is how you will leave."

Superboy listened, but had one curiosity, "Okay, but one question, why haven't you tried to eat me yet, I thought cyclops liked the taste of humans?"

"Heh! No, maybe long ago I would have. But, after meeting Anesh, nah. Plus, Melinoe said some would arrive in the coming days. And I've got a gut feeling you're one of them. Plus, she said I get to hit things," Osar said, taking another swig of his wine.

Superboy frowned, waving him off, "I don't need your help."

"Oh? So you know these lands like the back of your hand?" Osar questioned, unibrow piqued with a shit-eating grin.

Superboy's frown deepened at the expression, but he breathed a sigh as he knew Osar was right. "Thought so," Osar said, seeming to read his mind.

He walked to a part of the cave blocked by a large boulder while putting on a piece of cloth. Osar easily moved and grabbed what was behind. He quickly stepped out with a club in his hands, looking at it with the same love a good mother would show for their child, "Ah, my lucky club," he said, practically hugging it.

Superboy rolled his eyes as they both walked to the entrance to the cave, the cold affecting neither of them as they stood in the mountain's winds.

Osar stopped giving his club the love it deserved as he finally remembered something, "Oh, last warning before we head down this mountain. Unlike my brothers and sisters who are cyclops of the seas. We are cyclops of the wind as our mother is Aura, goddess of the breeze. Our mother is a virgin goddess, instead we were born from the foam of the sea of Poseidon and the breeze of the north winds becoming one. So my brothers and sisters live on this mountain of constant winds as I do," Osar explained.

Superboy nodded, but took a step back as Osar shifted into a crouch, "Come on, kid" He said, motioning to his back, "Get on my back. Then I'll jump down the mountain with you."

Superboy didn't answer, instead walking towards a rock larger than his body and punching it. Shattering it into numerous pieces with barely any effort and turned to look at Osar as he grasped a shattered piece and crushed it into dust, "I'm stronger than I look."

Osar looked at him surprised for a moment and then closed his eyes as he laughed loudly, "Alright, that'll make this little adventure even faster, come on Superboy," he said jumping off the side of the mountain, followed by Superboy, as they traveled down it.

As they traveled Superboy looked at the land around the mountain and it almost took his breath away. His superhuman sight caught many of the various lands as they descended down the mountains, kissed by this world's sun.

After some time Superboy heard the sound of heavy footfalls coming towards them, "Stop! I hear something." After stopping, the one making the footsteps came into view. It was another cyclops, one of Osar's brothers, Trathor. Trathor stood somewhat taller than Osar, with brown-red hair shaved off on the sides, a large blue eye, and teeth that looked to have meat in between the small gaps walked up to them with a hammer in hand.

Trathor spread his arms wide with sluggish care, "Brother! News has swept across the land… good news," he said looking at Superboy with a crooked grin. "The sorcerer has made a great bargain with us. If we kill some mortals that have passed into this dimension, then we'll be brought to the mortal plane where we can eat as many humans as we want. But you wouldn't enjoy that… brother," he said his grin dropping into a scowl

Superboy cracked his knuckles with a grin as he could finally hit something, and Osar readied his club with a slight smirk, "Ah, the day today just gets better and better." Trathor brought up his hammer in response. They stood still for several moments before screaming a battle cry as they rushed at one another, the shockwaves from the battle shook the mountain and alerted the other sons and daughters of Aura.

Videl looked around her, seeing nothing but a void as dark as a black hole that seemingly surrounded her infinitely. She attempted to move earlier, but found that she didn't have a body to move.

After a few moments of gasping without lungs, she mentally calmed her... spirit, you could say.

She had been in this void for some time. Finally, she heard a noise as the sound of footsteps came closer. She saw a woman appear in front of her vision. She was tall, with a golden dress and shawl, but her most defining attributes were her eyes and skin. Her eyes were just as pitch black as the void around them, one side of her skin was black and hardened, while the other was a chalky white.

"Videl Satan," she said, surprising Videl. Immediately, Videl wondered how she knew her name. "Do not worry, young one. I am Melinoe, the goddess of spirits, hauntings, and other domains. I am speaking to you as you were the only one I could contact, as I feel your spirit has died once before. You are not the only one I have spoken to. There are others who I have advised to help your companions, and they will as others did once for my son."

"Heed these words, as they are the only way you may save your allies and leave this dimension alive. Find the home of the demigod and read his magic, only then will you all end this strife, and the bident will not rise to see the sun's light, a sorcerer's magic will suffice," Melinoe vaguely stated.

"Remember these words, daughter of Satan," she warned, "For they will lead to who wins this battle. Because of this dream, you'll have awoken sometime after your other companions. Make sure you are all united to face this threat. I could only use enough power to talk to you and tell you now, find them, and make sure my father's essence does not escape," after several moments Melinoe's body faded, as Videl's spirit returned to her body.

"Wha!" Videl shouted, sitting straight up from the ground she laid on. She looked around quickly before the moments from seconds ago came rushing back into her mind. "Find the home of the demigod and read his magic, only then will you all end this strife, and the bident will not rise to see the sun's light, a sorcerer's magic will suffice," she said, her mind wondering before reaching a conclusion.

"Zatanna!" Videl shouted, bringing a fist down onto her open palm in realization.

She stood up, looking around her to see tall buildings of ancient Greek architecture, no longer ruins but instead a large, beautiful city. All around her were ghosts. Transparent people with Greek clothing, consisting of intricate fabrics, while others with gold in their attire wore expensive silks. "Okayyy, woah!" she said, as she saw two ghostly children run right through her legs and play without paying her any mind.

Closing her eyes and slapping her face to focus she focused, sensing for the others, but finding her ability to sense ki dulled to near non-existence. "Guess I'll have to do it the old-fashioned way," flying above the buildings she looked to the edge of the grand city to see many different areas outside of the large city that somehow seemed to go on forever all around it in the distance.

Some part beyond was a lush forest with so much beauty it seemed to glow and connected to it was another forest with leaves and grass the color of the autumn season. Closest to the city was a beach bordering a large ocean. Another sight was a large lake the size of a town with jagged rocks shooting up from the surface like spears. Mountains that nearly touched the clouds. A canyon of incredible height taller than skyscrapers. Next was a volcano made of tanned orange sand that seemed to be on the verge of eruption with its leaking of smoke billowing into this land's sky. Along with other beautiful mixes of land. Finally, there was a large coliseum some miles away that even from a distant perspective stood tall with incredible architecture, but she focused on the volcano.

'If anyone is there they may be in trouble, except maybe Superboy. I'll head there first and then, the coliseum,' she thought, rocketing towards the volcano.

'Something touching me,' was Robin's first thought as he started to regain consciousness. It was moist, and seemingly touched him at random, but not for long periods of time. It touched him again and he finally swatted at it, touching what felt like… fur? He opened his eyes, finding himself staring into the eyes of a deer. It was a young doe, but the better question was how it got here? Weren't they in the ruins?

He stood up, alarming the deer, and causing it to gallop back into the forest out of his sights. He looked around himself, seeing he was in one of the most luscious forests he had ever seen. It was filled with the most beautiful shade of green, flowers of all colors around him, and many large trees with the sun shining on everything. He definitely wasn't in the ruins.

After a moment he yelled, "Guys, where are you?!" his voice echoing off the trees of the forest, but no one answered. He walked forward, seeing several structures in the distance.

'Where are we? Did someone kidnap us? It was obviously magic, but who could have cast the spell?' he thought, walking forward towards the city. There were many sorcerers who were enemies of the League, but Robin's thoughts were interrupted as he heard the sound of a thunk near his head. He quickly turned, seeing an arrow in the tree to his right. He immediately sprinted behind the tree with a glance to what was behind, but only caught a glimpse as another arrow passed near his head.

He was surprised to see… a centaur? He was tall, easily at seven feet. With a white hide, and a bow aimed at the tree Robin hid behind. Obviously the one who had shot in his direction. "Come out human! I will not let you corrupt this world as the sorcerer did!" Seeing this Robin knew he only had several options, each with a chance of a fatal ending, but he quickly made a note from his demand.

'Sorcerer? So, it was someone who sent us here. Okay, Richard, time to take a chance,' Robin thought to himself

"Hey! I'm not a sorcerer! In fact, I think we're on the same side!" He said, attempting to clear the misunderstanding. Hoping this enemy may lead to a new ally, and a guide around this strange place.

"Come from the tree, human."

"Not until that bow is lowered and you put that next arrow back in it's quiver!" Robin shouted, a hand reaching into his utility belt in case he noticed the centaur move too quickly. Looking at the centaur from the corner of the tree, he saw the centaur slowly lower his bow while moving his arrow back into it's quiver. Seeing this Robin, slowly stepped from behind the tree and walked up to the centaur with caution.

They both sized each up, allowing for Robin to finally see the centaur's features. He was young, looking to just be slightly older than Kaldur. He had a long mane of blond hair, with tanned skin, scars lining his arms, and light brown eyes. "Speak, why are you in this land? Are you aligned with the sorcerer who is trying to bring the essence of the eldest son?" questioned the centaur.

"No, in fact, I think we're on the same side. We came here to stop whoever this sorcerer is," explained Robin, his stance still cautious as he looked up at the centaur.

"We?" the centaur said, glancing around himself to see if he was surrounded.

"Yes, we. The thing is we won't be able to stop this sorcerer if my team isn't around to help. Once we're done with him we'll leave this place," Robin said.

"Hmm, for now I will trust your words. I am Kozin. I was told by the goddess Melinoe some would come to help us in these coming days, but remember, if I feel you are to betray me. I will not hesitate to put an arrow through your skull," Kozin warned.

"Alr–" Robin was going to say, but was interrupted, as he saw a black blur suddenly zip across his vision high in the air, his gut telling him who it was. "Kozin, what's in that direction?" He said hurriedly, pointing towards where Horizon flew.

"That is where the volcano of our land is located. For these few days it seems almost on the verge of eruption, another strange thing is that the coliseum seems more engaged than before your arrival," Kozin explained.

"Which is closer, the volcano, or the coliseum?!"

Kozin hummed for a moment coming to a conclusion on the human's sudden tone, "You believe one of your allies is in either place?"

"It's a theory," said Robin, "So?"

Kozin weighed his options, he could either leave this human to his own devices, or he could help, and maybe assist in protecting his home. A home he had been in since… no, this was not up for debate. It was him that had shown him that not all humans were beings incapable of good, he would help.

"Get on. We'll go to the coliseum and see if you find your allies, or at least one of them," Kozin said. Robin nodded, climbing on the back of Kozin's equine form. After a moment Kozin set his eyes forward, and started to gallop, moving at speeds similar to a car.

"Huh? Good thing I didn't run, right? Name's Robin by the way," Robin said with a slight chuckle.

"So it is. If you are truly here to save this land. Then I will help. But remember my warning, Robin," Kozin said. Robin looked forward, after some moments seeing the structures he saw come closer. The lush forest ground became a street, and Robin's eyes widened as he sped past people with transparent bodies. The structures from before he noticed having Greek architecture.

It was at that moment Robin knew he was in another world.
