"Hold me in your arms, Charlie," Sibby asked, leaning into him.
He gave her a squeeze, nuzzling his nose in her hair. "A week ago, you hardly remembered me," he said softly.
"That was a lie," she admitted. "I thought about you a lot."
"Then why-" Sibby put her hand on his mouth to stop him from talking.
"Don't start asking those questions. I'm sure we'll run into each other for another week or two in a few years, right?"
"I don't want to do that."
"You don't want to run into me again?"
"I don't want to lose track."
