Rogue groaned as her alarm clock sounded for the fourteenth time in the past minute. She knew she should get up, but facing life was a little more than she felt like she could deal with. She rolled over and waked her alarm clock so she wouldn't wake up her room mate. Although it would serve Kitty right, to be woken up at four in the morning, after all she did steal her boyfriend. Rogue knew she was being mean after all Kitty didn't steal her boyfriend, she just kissed him. However neither Bobby nor Kitty had had the courtesy to share this with her. Rogue knew that it was only a matter of time before her stinking boyfriend cheated on her, after all she was untouchable, but it killed all the same.

A week she had been looking out at the stars when she saw. Her boyfriend, the boy who said he would die for her touch, turned around and kissed Kitty. How she wanted to scream, run down there and have a major fit and dump his sorry ass, but she needed him. Since Logan left, her family deserted her, and the school was in such a slump since Dr. Grey, Scott and Professor Xavier died, she didn't have the heart to loose Bobby.

If he wanted to break-up with her he would. She would cry but it would be what he wanted. He hadn't, he never broke up with her, he didn't tell her he cheated on her and he hasn't cheated on her since. Rogue knew this should be good news for her, but it wasn't. She wanted him to be honest with her. Rogue also knew however that she had lost her chance to tell Bobby how she felt that he betrayed her.

As she rolled out of bed silently a single tear fell down her cheek. She looked at Kitty and the ice rose Bobby made her that rested on her nightstand and got ready to continue living the lie she called her life until she or Bobby cracked. Rogue desperately hoped with all her heart that she wasn't the one who would crack first.
