Kallen muttered to herself as she washed the sand from beneath her armpits, the rough landing on the beach had not been pleasant, but at least she found drinking water a place to wash up. The island itself was rather nice, a good temperature, not too warm that her pilot suite was not an option and not cold enough for the water to hurt. "Much better."
Looking around she decided that she would not have minded spending a night or two on if the circumstances were different of course, currently she was much too worried about both her companions and the Guren. if she were randomly taken here there was a good chance her friends were here somewhere too, it was too strange to ignore, even if she felt like she wanted too.
"Well, that is certainly an unexpected pleasant sight." The voice made her rush towards the top of her pilot suit, covering herself before rushing at the offending pervert with her knife. only to be met with a familiar wall of muscles and bone, she stopped, calming when she realized it was only Andre who saw her, before panicking about why she did not think him seeing her was a bad thing. "Well, not exactly the reaction i expected but an understandable one, good to see you alright Kallen."
"Yeah, you too Andre, mind if i get dressed before we continue?"
"Robbing me of the glorious vision i was gifted with? Sure, but know the next time i get you naked i won't let you go so easy."

"Could you stop that!? Also, we should be looking for food and water first, since we already have water from the waterfall, one of us can look for food while the other stokes a fire?"
"A good plan, but I have a lighter in my pocket, so we can both search for food."
"Why do you have a lighter, I didn't think you to be a smoker."
"I am not, not really, I smoke on occasion sure, usually in celebration but always nicotine free, the lighter I keep on me because it was my mothers.."

"This is surprisingly fun, I never thought cooking over a fire would be this... relaxing."

He chuckled at her dry tone, turning the fish fillets on his sticks slowly, letting them bask in the heat of the fire, slowly cooking the unfamiliar creature, making sure not to char the flesh. they had no spices, so the taste would be strange, but it was a fat fish, and bound to have at least some flavour.
"We should do this more often, just the two of us, relaxing."

The sun began to set slowly as the fish finished cooking, and they both dug in, C.C purposefully eating less so that Lelouch could have enough to sustain himself.

"It could be a lot worse..." Suzaku muttered as he used his knife to kill the crab, it was one of three of the sizable creature he managed to capture, and would make a decent meal, if he found a way to get it out of its shell. he could have cooked it sure, but he had no pan to do that in. so roasted crab it would be, not the best but it would feed them for the day, and along with the water from coconuts would keep them healthy for a while.
"That it could be Suzu, good company makes the biggest difference."
"You might be right about that, i used to hate camping with my father, back then i thought it was time I could have spent training or having adventures, now though, this seems almost peaceful."
"I... I don't know much about my own father, he has always been distant, and it drove mother up the wall in frustration, she was a good woman, but insanity runs in both her family and mine. It did not end well for her. its why Nelly is so protective of me, Andre too i suppose, he was there too."

"Honestly I don't know." Kallen watched in fascination as Andre's slight, barely noticeable muscles moved with his shrug, her shirtless... crush, man, boyfriend, that was still unsure, and his distracting shirt lessness was not helping. Andre was big, as in both tall and built wide, standing a full two heads taller than her if she was not wearing heels, but he was not muscular or skinny, just healthy. "We are both people who like to always have something to do, even while talking we often drink or play a game."
"That's true, how about I cook us some of these fish, while you cook the chicken you caught and we talk while doing that?"
"A good enough start I suppose."
Cleaning a chicken was not something she expected to be doing today, but it was a novel experience, pulling the feathers was hard, but at least she didn't have to deal with the slimy looking fish Andre was gutting. Soon both of them had meat roasting above the large fire, and were talking about everything and nothing, Kallen could tell Andre was avoiding serious discussion.
the man liked to think he was eloquent and good at lying but she could see straight through him. he was worried, clearly, but not about their situation, being stranded seemed to have barely phased him, he was worrying about something else. She got the feeling she knew what it was, but... thinking about that made her rather nervous too.
"We do have to talk about, you know, us."

"Exactly , when I feel something I have to first interpret what I am feeling, then react to that feeling, its a slow reaction too. only the strongest of emotions I can truly 'Feel', like anger, desire, occasionally happiness. but the rest has been muted for most of my life. they didn't share some romantic first kiss, they didn't have some luxurious meal or long dance, but just being together under the star lit sky, by a great bonfire laying beside a small shelter of leaves and sticks. it was perfect, and Kallen wanted nothing else...

"Of course Naoto." The small smirk coming from the woman was distracting, so he refocused himself.
"Good, Ohgi, I want you to take charge of the Ronin groups, rally them and get morale up, do whatever necessary, we need to be combat ready by morning. Tamaki, help Rakshata, your our second best engineer." May the gods grant him another one with more brains. "Diethard, continue gathering information, and get me a meeting with the Illusive man if possible, or an agent if not."

My mind is still reeling from the talk we had, and words are slow to come to me in my usual eloquent manner, meaning that I am rather sleepy, if one wants to be simple about it. Still I am quite happy with how everything turned out, I now realize I have been a little nervous about having this conversation, a feeling I was un till now unfamiliar with. and if Kallen wanted to label what we have now, then I do not mind that at all.
"Good point, do we make this official or not?" hmm, good question, I would not all mind that, but it would put pressure on us to wed at some point in the near to mid future. "Not like get engaged or some shit like that, but..."
"Dating?"
"Yes, dating." The smile on her face is glorious, highlighted by the slight blush on her cheeks, Kallen leant back into my shoulder, both of us propped up against the shelter that would keep the wind out of our little campsite this night. "So Boyfriend and Girlfriend?"
"Bit childish for us, but sure, I would love to have you as my Girlfriend."
"I want to have you too."
"I am not exactly a girl, I have a dick and everything."
"That's not what i meant you dolt!"
"I love you."
"I know."

When love is involved humans do the strangest things, emotions get tangled, actions get complicated, its an all around hassle, and yet, love is loved. I think I am beginning to understand the appeal myself.
