GUYS SOMEONE ADDED ME TO QUIRKQUARTZ's COMMUNITY FOR IZUMINA AAAHHHHHH. Sorry mini freakout over, I realize it's not a big deal most likely, but it makes me feel like I'm an actually FFN author lol.

Also, I'm really surprised I haven't seen any HP/MHA crossovers. Or maybe I just don't look hard enough. Either way, a Slytherin Deku would be cool.

I am equally surprised by how bad people are at the new Naruto game. It's fun, but angering.

Onto much more relevant notes, first I just wanted to state I don't really plan to use Japanese suffixes, seeing as while I know the rules, I also don't speak the language, so the idea of me using them just doesn't feel right. To each their own though, and hopefully that won't bug anyone too much. Also, one of the reviewers(I read every one, because they actually make my day), mentioned hating some characters, and I just want to say I have plans for a few characters in the show. Some are popular. Others aren't. Some of you might be happy, others maybe not as much. Either way, I hope you guys will stick around, because I'm trying to incorporate characters into this that are purely storyline relevant!

Last thing, to the person who asked about other Symbiotes, there won't be any. Venom is the only one, and will be the only one. It this story, he never split with Peter, causing him to never come to hate Spider-man. He also made Peter aware upfront about the potential to amplify aggression, leading to Peter reigning it in, as opposed to letting it get him in trouble. I know in my first AN I said the suit wouldn't have those properties, but then I realized it was the perfect force to set my plot in motion. Hehehehe

Chapter 4: This Alien Can't be this Cute!

"Hey there, Freckles. Why the long face?" A girl's voice spoke to Izuku after poking him in the face with a slender finger. As he turned and looked at the person who just poked him, he had a number of thoughts. One: This girl looks like an alien. He felt a wave of annoyance from his partner at that. Two: She was a very cute looking alien. Three: She was very close to his face, concern evident in her eyes. She had pink skin, which was not too unheard of, as odd skin tonalities were more and more common these days. Much like himself, she had fluffy hair, although hers was pink. She had two little horns sticking out of her tufts of hair. Her eyes had black sclera and yellow irises. And she was wearing a UA hero course uniform.

As fun as this is to watch, you're kind of mumbling and you are definitely staring, and I think she's becoming more concerned by that.

"AHHHH! I-I'm sorry! I'm fine!" Izuku practically shouted at the girl, startling her at his sudden outburst. Her brow crinkled in confusion, before shrugging.

"It's okay, dude. Don't worry about it. So anyway, if you don't mind me asking, what's got you down?" The girl spoke to him in a placating manner. Whether she was speaking from genuine concern or nosiness was unclear at this stage.

"Ah, sorry, I never got your name. Wouldn't that be important to know before I bombard you with problems?" Izuku questioned, curious about the odd girl in front of him. A sheepish look appeared on her face, and proceeded to bonk herself on the head.

"Duh. Sorry about that. My name's Mina. Mina Ashido. Nice to meet you, Freckles!" The girl spoke in a proud and excited tone.

"Nice to meet you too, Mina. My name is Izuku Midoriya." Izuku somehow managed to keep the stutters out. Progress. Mina gave him a beaming smile, and made a hand gesture that he should continue.

"A-ah. The person that was attacked by this guy Venom. I actually used to be friends with him." At hearing this, Mina's eyes widened.

"Oh Bakugo? He's actually in my class at UA. Wow, you were friends with that asshole? I got partnered up with him in a team exercise and all he did was yell and rage at me. He even called me an extra." At this, her eyes narrowed. " You're not a jerk too, are you?"

Izuku frantically waved his hands in front of him and tried to say he wasn't, before Mina suddenly burst into laughter.

"I'm just messing with you, dude. Seriously, you looked like a kicked puppy when I saw you, so I had to check on you."

"A...kicked puppy?" Izuku questioned, obviously confused by the comparison.

"Yeah. Adorable and super sad." At this, Izuku's face went beet red. This was probably the first time a girl had called him cute. It definitely didn't happen in middle school. Bakugo made sure of that.

"A-ah, I'm not sure how I feel about that." Izuku mumbled out, clearly unsure of how to handle a situation like this.

"You never answered my question, Izuku. At least not fully." She definitely wanted to know what was bothering him.

"I guess, I'm upset that I've never heard about this Venom guy before. Quirks are kind of my passion, and the thought of one slipping my notice bothers me." He spoke calmly, trying not to give his actually feelings on the matter away.

"Wow, you sound like a quirk researcher or something! That's super cool!" Mina was nothing if not an enthusiastic conversation partner.

"A researcher? No, it's nothing like that! I just...I just really like Quirks. They're so cool, and each one is unique." Izuku spoke truthfully, and passionately.

"That's so cool that you have a productive hobby! I just play video games and read manga. Well, that and destroy people in breakdancing." At saying this, she made a peace sign and winked at him. This flustered Izuku, as this girl was more forward than anyone else he'd ever come across before...Besides Bakugo. But unlike Bakugo, Mina seemed like kind person, the kind that was nice to everyone.

"You like to...breakdance?" Izuku asked quietly, unsure if he'd heard her correctly.

"Yeah, dude! It's so much fun. I'm not exactly the smartest person around, but I'm genius at breakdancing!" She grinned at him, and soon Izuku found himself smiling too. Her cheer was just too infectious to ignore. She treated him like they were friends her whole life. "I'll have to show you sometime!"

"I think that'd be nice, Mina. So you go to UA? Does that mean you want to be a strong hero someday?" Izuku inquired, genuinely curious of her intentions at one of the most prestigious hero schools in Japan.

"Mhm," She nodded, before continuing "I've wanted to be a hero since I was little. The Alien Queen! I'm sure you noticed that I sort of look like an Alien, albeit much cuter than Ridley Scott's." Izuku couldn't quite vocalize his agreement that she was indeed much cuter than Aliens. He thought he heard his partner mutter something about Alien stereotypes.

"Anyway, so yeah, my Quirk lets me secrete Acid from the palms of my hands and feet, so I figured I could be a decent hero with it! And that's pretty much the story." She smiled so brightly, her pearly white teeth flashing at him.

"That's such a cool quirk Mina! You could help free people after natural disasters and accidents! Not to mention the combat applicability of your quirk!" Mina blushed at the praise, clearly not used to hearing things like this. She knew her quirk wasn't nearly as flashy as her appearance, but she was hellbent on being a hero, naysayers be damned.

"Thanks, Izuku. Say, do you want to get something to eat? I don't want to cut our conversation short but I haven't eaten since breakfast because of my combat practical today." Mina sheepishly asked, not wanting to pressure her new friend into something he wasn't comfortable with.

"I-I'd like that, Mina."

"Great! I've got just the place in mind!"

They walked through the city district, chatting as they went. They talked about everything and nothing. They passed each building, until they'd finally arrived at this little cafe called LeBlanc Coffee. As they walked in, Izuku was overwhelmed by the fragrance of fresh coffee, and was that...curry, he smelled? He took a moment to look around the shop. The store had some rather catchy jazz music playing softly in the background. On the wall to their right was a picture of a woman holding a baby, painted in water color. To the left, there were a series of booths that went to the back of the store, running parallel to the counter. Izuku could see a flight of stairs at the back, next to a small kitchen. A TV hung from the wall beside the counter. Behind the counter, there had to be no less than 50 different jars of coffee beans, each one labeled differently. In front of the jars, was a rather cool looking middle aged man. He had black hair, which was slicked back. He work a pink collared shirt, jeans, and a black and gray apron. He had a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, and wry grin on his face. His name tag read "Sojiro".

"Ah, it's you, Ashido. Welcome back. You want the usual?" He had a deep voice, and a very suave demeanor.

"You know it gramps! I could eat a cow!" At this, the man got a tickmark on his forehead, clearly not enjoying the jab at his age. Izuku thought he heard the man mutter something about disrespectful brats.

"Yeah, yeah. Coming right up. Just take a seat somewhere. I assume your timid looking friend here wants the same?"

"A-ah, yes please!" Izuku stuttered out, clearly not wanting to upset the man further. He followed Mina to a booth near the back, taking a seat on the side closest to the door. She beamed up at him.

"So welcome to my secret base!" She then leaned over conspiratorially and whispered, " You can't tell anyone. Other wise I'd have to kill you." She made finger guns after saying this. Izuku was rather unsure of how to take this, a bead of sweat building up on his forehead.

"D-Don't worry, Mina. Your secret is safe with me." Izuku reassured her seriously. This caused her to breakout in laughter, holding her sides as guffawed.

"Man, you're so gullible. It's seriously freaking cute." Again, Izuku went beat red at this. He wasn't sure if she was just having a laugh at him, or she genuinely thought he was cute. Thankfully, he didn't have to find out, as Sojiro chose that exact moment to bring them their food and coffee. He set the plates in front of them before speaking.

"Here you go, kids. Since it's your first time, kid, I preemptively accept your praise that this is the best damn curry you've ever had." Izuku sweatdropped at this, unsure if the man was arrogant or just that confident in his cooking. Mina just grinned back at the man, already knowing the answer to his unspoken question. Izuku looked at the curry for the first time. It read, and had a few pieces of tofu in it. A side of rice was arranged neatly to the left of the curry, and bit of scrambled eggs along with it. As he looked up to ask Mina a question, he suddenly became aware of how intently both she and Sojiro were staring at him, as if anxiously awaiting his reaction to the food. He shook his head, and decided to indulge them. He took a bite, before his eyes widened to the size of saucers. 'This...THIS IS GREATEST CURRY EVER MADE!' He practically shouted in his head.

Can you keep it down? There's no need to ever shout in your head. Most people don't have the voices in her you do.

'Sorry. Wait, voices, as in plural?'

We are kidding with you, Young Midoriya. Now speak, otherwise I fear Young Ashido might explode from anticipation.

"Mina, Sojiro... This is single greatest curry I've ever had-no, in the world!"

Sojiro just shrugged at this, clearly not surprised in the least. "Of course it is, kid. I made it after all. Anyway, enjoy your stay. Just shout if you need anything."

As he walked away, Mina smiled softly at him.

"I'm glad you like the food, Izuku. You're actually the first person I've brought here. It's kind of out of the way of most people's way home, but my parent's brought me here a lot as a kid, so it's a special place to me." She stopped for a moment, as if taking a trip down memory lane. "Anyways! Tell me about yourself Izuku! I know you're Quirk bonkers, but I don't really know much else about you. What's your Quirk like?"

Izuku froze at this, and then stiffened even further at her last question. Obviously he couldn't just say "Oh hey, that scary looking villain Venom? Yeah that's me. What's up?"

"I used to be a huge fan of All Might, but after I spoke with him, I kind of started to idolize him less. But I do owe All Might for making me want to be a hero in the first place. Up until a few months ago, I actually thought I was Quirkless, and I was terrified I wasn't going to become a hero. But my Quirk actually manifested then, and now I have a private tutor for heroics, since I didn't want to go to UA anymore." These statements got Mina's attention, as she wondered why he didn't already attend the city's most prestigious school, if he was interested in heroics as he implied.

"You thought you were Quirkless? Is that why you chose not to go to UA."

"Partially. The other reason was I wanted to avoid two people."

"If it's not too nosy of me, can I ask who they were?"

"It's fine. I really didn't want to see Bakugo or All Might. I heard Bakugo got accepted into UA when I was applying to schools, and when I found out All Might was teaching there, I just thought it would be too painful for me to be there." Izuku spoke in a melancholy manner, realizing he was more upset at the two of them than he had thought initially.

"But why did you not want to see them?" At this, Izuku sighed. He didn't really want to tell her, but he also didn't want to be rude.

"Bakugo...he and I used to be friends. At least until he developed his Quirk. Then he became my number one bully." Izuku's grip on his drink tightened. At least until a soft, pink hand was placed on top of his.

"Hey, Izuku? You don't have to share this if you don't want to. It clearly bothers you."

"N-No, it's fine. It's actually nice having someone to talk things out with. Definitely not something I'm used to." He laughed nervously, but Mina didn't. Instead, she actually frowned at this, but withheld any comments she might have had. For now, anyways.

"As for All Might, well, I spoke to him once, and asked him if it was possible for someone without a quirk to be a hero. He told me that it wasn't. That's why I didn't want to see him. I mean yeah, I have a quirk now. But I was in a low place when he told me that, and while I know he meant well, it sort of stained the admiration I had for the guy." Mina's frown deepened, but she became confused when Izuku began to smile softly.

"But...I have to say... If he hadn't told me that, I wouldn't have discovered my quirk, or the inspiration I derived from it."

"What do you mean Izuku? What is your quirk? And who was this inspiration?"

"My inspiration was the Arachnid hero Spider-Man. Because my quirk is very similar to his. But I don't like to use it a lot because I'm not licensed yet." Not quite the truth, but enough of it to be genuine. He just neglected to mention he didn't really care about being licensed at all.

"I don't think I've heard of him. Is he new on the scene or something?" Her brows knit in confusion, her fingers drummed on the table.

Izuku laughed at this. "N-No, the opposite actually. He was one of the first heroes ever, and was the 6th to surface in America. He was known for being a street level hero, never being too big to help out the little guy. No matter how popular he got, he never lost sight of his code." Izuku had a soft smile on his face at this point, as he thought of his predecessor. Mina couldn't help but notice that his smile looked nice on him.

"What was his code?" She asked him curiously.

" 'That with great power, there must also come great responsibility'. These were some of the last words he heard from the man he respected the most, and he took them to heart."

Mina was moved by these words, and she too saw the merit in the code.

"I think that's a great code of morals to have, Izuku. It sounds like he was a great man."

"He was one of the best." Mina realized she'd be so rapt in her attention that she'd been hanging on his every word. She coughed into her hand, and tried to shake it off.

"So does that mean you have spider like powers as well? Because I have to tell you dude, spiders are pretty creepy."

I mean, she isn't wrong. Even Peter hated Spiders to a degree. Which is pretty ironic given he made a label out of their image.

Izuku sweatdropped at the comments of both Mina and Venom. Sure, arachnids weren't his favorite but surely they weren't THAT bad, were they?

You don't want me to answer that.

"Uh, Izuku?" Izuku became aware of her waving her hand in front of his eyes. "You okay? You kind of spaced out there for a second."

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine. Yeah, my powers are similar to a spiders. It's hard to explain them though."

"Maybe you can show me sometime then? If it's not too much trouble, that is?"

This got Izuku's attention. He wanted to immediately say not, at least until he could correct his reputation as a hero, but he looked at Mina, his rejection caught in his mouth.

"I-I guess I could show you sometime Mina. It'll have to wait though. I have a lot of school work to do this week."

At hearing this, the color drained from Mina's face.

"Oh crap! I just remembered that Mr. Aizawa wanted an essay from us on foreign heroes by Friday!" She waved her arms around in panic. "What am I gonna do Izuku?!"

"U-um, I could help you, if you wanted." Izuku said quietly. This halted Mina's freak out.

"Really?! You'd do that dude?"

"I mean I won't do your work for you, but I'll provide any information you need. Is it an informal essay?"

"Yeah, it's just on someone we think is cool. Hey! Maybe I can do it on Spider-Man!" This brought a small smile to Izuku's lips.

"That'd be cool, Mina."

After they had chatted a bit more and paid their bill, Izuku walked Mina to her train station. They arrived at her terminal, and Mina stopped and turned to face Izuku.

"Well, this is my stop."

"A-ah, I'm enjoyed out hanging out today, Mina. It was nice to talk about heroes and stuff with someone else." Izuku spoke truthfully, having truly enjoyed their time together.

"Well...who said it had to a one time thing? Here, give me your phone." She held her hand out expectantly to Izuku, and he eventually handed her his phone. A few rapid finger movements and onscreen button presses later, he had her phone number. She pressed the call button, and saved his number in hers. He idly noted she labelled him as "Spider-Freckles". He wasn't sure how to take that.

"See? Now we can chat anytime we want, Freckles!" She shifted from one for to the other. "We should do this again soon. I don't generally get to spend time with cute boys that try to help me be a better hero." She called him cute again, and...was she flirting with him? He really didn't know how to handle this.

"A-ah, it's not trouble Mina. I enjoyed our time as well."

"Well, since you agreed to help me with my essay, how about we meet up again tomorrow?" She asked suddenly, catching Izuku offguard.

"U-Um, well we could if you want."

"Great! It's a date then! Later Freckles!" And with that, she walked off to her gate, bouncing from foot to foot.

'A DATE?!' Izuku sreamed internally.

Ha!

To Be continued.

Geez Guys. I tried to hold myself back. I promise I did. I hope the interactions were in character, and to your satisfaction. This is my longest chapter to date. And yes, that was a homage to Persona 5. I wanted to do something I was like 70 percent sure hadn't been done yet in terms of first encounters(Get it, because she looks like an alien), because those usually involve burgers or milkshakes. So I decided to do something a little more different. No, this won't be a persona crossover(Although that's a good idea for someone else to use!). I just thought Sojiro is funny and plus curry is amazing. Anyway, I probably won't update again today, although who the hell knows. Maybe I'll surprise myself again. Have a good one guys. Raizen out!
