I haven't written anything in sooooo long. Wow. A shout out to Ten Rules! - Watched some new Doctor Who on youtube…I'm in love again…rawr. This one is a lil' weird, but the idea was given to me by a reviewer, and I just thought, although impractical, it would be fun to write and see the response. It was funness up the ying yang.

Disclaimer: Not mine, ya loonies. How I wish…

This is for Sepik who has been an awesome reviewer and a fantastic Whovian for giving me sites to visit for Doctor Who episodes….she may not be lonely, but she is my angel! Thanks! (Didja get the Doc. Who reference!)

Mother, May I Die For You?

Pipkat

He loved his mother. Really, truly, and deeply loved.

When she was burned like Joan of Arc at the stake the Daleks forced him to light, he cried.

She was saintly.

He, like Merlin (although he was Merlin, technically) of the folklore-born of a saint and a devil. Too bad he was a devil, too.

So when he saw her again, on his favorite god-forsaken planet, he'd thought he had finally gone bonkers.

She was just a girl, human.

His screwdriver confirmed this and yet…she was his mother.

It defined all sense and temporal logic, but there she was so gloriously alive. Then again, when had logic been a factor since the War…he'd had a grand-daughter after all- and he wasn't even married

It was her.

He could feel it between his eyes like he felt the Earth turn under his feel.

She didn't know of course. (Probably a regeneration or some sort.)

So he did what any good son would do; he took her home.

His mother, Rose, drove him mad. Her existence was so riddled with humanity, he had his doubts. But then she would say something and …

He didn't think seeing the end of Earth would freak her out so much. It was his favorite world. Then again, like mother like son.

An immortal enemy should've jogged her memory.

It didn't.

When confronted with the Dalek she fretted over it like it meant something. Even when he had almost killed her, she begged for mercy on its behalf. She was a mad hatter. Simple words, what was he turning into. He didn't know. But cared because she cared.

So he didn't shoot the Dalek and the world was saved. Mercy.

And so the meek shall inherit the world…

His mother had a knack for picking up people, places, things, turning him "domestic." But he guessed that's what made her his mother-her habits transcended even time itself.

It bugged him. It bugged him a lot that she just meets this "Fly Boy" and figures they'll take him.

He's not a puppy, mother, he wants to say. But then again, he always hated "domestic disputes."

She cared for these random people. These "Tylers" and Mickey the Idiot, but they weren't her family-he was!

But, she loved them and he loved her.

It was then he began to indulge her.

They'd been through everything together and he loved her, in a kind of Oedipidal way. But not really.

He sent her away because he would give up all his reincarnations before she was killed by him or a Dalek again.

She came back in a golden glory that only a Time Lord mind could hold for so long.

If she was truly human she would have been dead on her feet, but again, like a phoenix she was reborn.

Again.

She saved him, the world, the universe, but in the way of true saint hood, was going to die for it.

Yeah, right.

So he was regenerating, and as Rose stared back at him, he could see the Time Lord with in her.

Fantastic.

He'd unleashed something; something that had lain dormant was awakening. He was dying (FAN-), she was living (TAS-), and he loved her; he'd torn the universe up looking for her. And guess what? He found her. (TIC!)
