Chapter 6 The New Peerage Member

A few months later

"So brother how is Rias doing so far?" Sirzechs looks up from the report that Rias sends in every month about the events that are happening at Kuoh. "Anos I figured you would already know since you sneak off almost daily to make sure she is doing fine."

Grayfia who was standing quietly next to her king was trying to hold back a grin saying, "Lord Anos, you need to allow Rias her space to grow and develop her skills." Anos shrugs his shoulders at her statement, "there is nothing wrong with me checking on my sister and making sure she is doing fine."

"Be that as it may sir Anos you need to stop going up there, you're starting to look like a stalker." Sirzechs chuckles a little then takes a more serious demeanor, "she is right Anos what if someone from the supernatural senses your power. "

Anos chuckles a little then thinks back to the same mountain where he sensed magic that currently surpasses his own all those years ago then says, "I highly doubt it. Unless I allow them to. Anyways you still haven't answered my question."

Sirzech sighs "well it looks like she has discovered someone with a sacred gear and she thinks it might be a twice critical and it appears the fallen angles have noticed him as well so it might be more than a twice critical."

"Well I have heard enough I should be able to find him. " As Anos starts to stand, with Sirzech raising his eyebrow and lifting his hand signaling him to wait, "what do you mean find him? Wait another second why are going to look for him, and how do you plan on finding him."

Anos grins at Sirzech then winks his right eye teleporting away. Sirzechs looks to Grayfia and she looks at him and they both sigh in frustration.

Transition to Kuoh Anos POV

I teleport inside of a park, taking a look around at my surroundings. I see a forest with a bunch of trees and a fountain a few yards away then I sense a fallen angle with another presence that appears to be dragon-like.

My presence has already been concealed long before I got there so I walk toward them and I see a girl with violet eyes, with black hair, in a pinkish v-neck crop top with a black skirt.

I then see a boy with brown hair and brown eyes in a gray shirt and black pants. The girl is currently standing a few feet away from the boy with her hands behind her back saying, "can I ask you a question. In honor of our first date, there's something…I'd like to ask you to do… to commemorate this special moment?"

As I am watching her she slowly starts walking closer and closer to the boy and I can tell that something doesn't feel right about this situation. The boy pauses a few seconds then says, "You can ask me for anything at all."

Then for a second after he says this her face is slightly covered and I can see a small smirk form and she says, "would you die for me?" When she says this I tilt my head at her question knowing that the current leader of the fallen would rather recruit him than kill him. So why would she say this?

The boy seems completely caught off guard and acts like he didn't hear her asking her to repeat herself. The girl then walks to him and whispers in his ear saying, "I want you to die for me."

Then she jumps back with her clothes exploding showing off her naked body. Then a black outfit begins to try and cover her body leaving nothing to the imagination. With two black wings springing out of her back.

I look at the boy and he looks completely scared even taking a few steps back falling on his butt staring at her in utter fear. She says a few things about their date saying, "thanks a lot for the gift," while looking at her wrist and saying how she felt about the date but I could tell she was lying through her teeth.

Then a red spear of light forms in her hand and stabs the boy in the stomach. Once she removes the spear he starts to bleed out, then the girl starts to say how sorry she is even though they are all lies.

The boy falls on his back spitting out blood. The girl says a few more things then flies's away, I look back to the boy and he is lying in a pool of his blood. I should probably save him because Rias might want to recruit him into her peerage.

As I begin to walk forward I see a red Gregory circle form and I stop walking and sigh, "Rias were you watching this boy die this whole time. You could have done this differently without letting him get hurt."

Then Rias appears in a red circle crouching down and putting some pawn pieces in his chest. Then his wounds close and she picks him up teleporting away.

I start to teleport then I feel someone's eyes on me and I grin saying, "do you plan to just sit in silence and continue to watch me from a distance, or do you want to come and talk to me?"

Suddenly a purple magic circle forms with the infinity symbol and a little girl appears. I grin and say, "Hello Ophis," the now-named Ophis looks up to me with a more blank expression than Koneko, "I ask you again...Anos...join my group and I shall..give you power."

She then offers up her hand to me I look at it and chuckle a little to myself, "uhh no, I'm good I don't need your power. " She looks at her hand dropping it then looks back up to me saying, "then whatever you desire I shall give it to you, just help me regain my silence."

"I have done ample research on your power and I can say it is immense but, you can't do what I want you to do." Ophis tilts her head, "research on me…how?" I look at her chuckling a little, "it's not that hard to understand how infinity works and from what I have studied about your powers, you are basically infinity itself. Meaning you have infinite power, but that's it just infinite power. Kind of like my self jack of all trades master of one."

Ophis continues to stare at me, "you think we are alike me a dragon god who has lived before creation and was born from the nothingness of infinity. " She sends me a dry smirk, "funny I have never heard any being say something like that to me. I like you..you intrigue me."

I shrug and she turns around, "your power intrigues me Anos, I have never seen a devil with as much magic as your's and I can tell you are hiding some other intriguing abilities."

"You can test the depth of my power if you want. I haven't had a good fight in a while." She looks back to me with a cocky grin, "don't test me Anos I admit you are amongst the top ten but your power doesn't come close to the power I wield. Well not yet at least."

When she finishes this sentence she disappears in a flash of purple. After that, I scratch my head and laugh, "I hate to admit it my at my current level of power she still outclasses me, but she still shouldn't underestimate my power." I then teleport back to the underworld.

Transition Back to Sirzechs Office

Sirzechs had stopped signing papers after seeing a red Gremory magic form right where his younger brother was standing a few minutes ago. In a flash of Red Anos appears and walks to the same chair he was sitting at before he left.

"You came back sooner than I thought did you find the boy in question?" Anos nods, "I did he was on a date with a fallen angel."Sirzechs crosses his arms, "so this boy is in league with the fallen? "

"I doubt it since that same fallen angel killed him." "Are you sure she killed him? I doubt Azazel would order one of his subordinates to kill a sacred gear user." "Well, she put a light spear into his body, saying sum stuff about being too powerful to him live."

Sirzechs nods, "di you find out what type of sacred gear it was?" Anos shakes, "no but I can tell it's a dragon type I just don't know which dragon. But if I can get closer to him I could figure out which dragon probably."

Sirzechs closes his eyes in contemplation, "this is a lot first a boy with an unknown dragon type sacred gear and now there appear to be fallen in our sister's territory." Sirzech then opens his eye staring straight at Anos, "are you busy at the moment?"

"Yes, I am always busy. But if you are asking if I am too busy to help our sister then never what do you need from me?" "Do you think you could figure out what the fallen are doing there?"

Anos rubs his chin thinking up a few scenarios, "you do know there is a possibility that my identity could be revealed."

"Yes, that's why I want you to do this as secretly as possible. I don't want our sister to get caught up in something that she can't handle and we both know she likes to do things on her own not asking for help."

"Fine I will do the best I can do but I might end up breaking some rules." "That's fine. I trust you won't do anything too crazy and I'm pretty sure you will have the support of the four Devil Kings if things do get a little crazy."

Anos then stands from his chair, "okay I will get started tomorrow and should have some information for you in the next few days," and in a flash of red Anos disappears. Left alone with his wife Sirzech sighs, "Grayfia do you think I am making the right decision having Anos take care of something so personal?"

"To me lord Lucifer it seems like you are trying to divert Anos attention from finding a way to get home." "That wasn't my intention I was just trying to make sure that no harm comes to Rias."

"I understand but you could someone more qualified to get the information you are looking for and the fact that Anos accepted your request so easily makes me think that he might be placing both of your sister's safety above everything else even getting home." Sirzech just remains silent not really having anything to say.

A Day Later Anos POV

I teleport back to Kuoh to see what I can learn about my sister's new pawn. It's around 7:30 in the morning. I had teleported to the forest where I first saw him, I then close my eyes to sense the power I felt inside of him.

I teleport a block away from where I sense his power and watch the boy walk out of his house and from the clothes he is wearing I can guess he is on his way to school.

Besides the power I sense inside of him, he is nothing special, and the magic he has...well let's just say if you were to pour his magic into a water bottle it wouldn't even fill half the bottle.

I continue to follow him as he reaches my sister's school. I could use this opportunity to find out what type of person he is. I transform into my younger self with black eyes and black hair instead of my red. I then change my clothes to fit everyone else's then stop thinking that I need to come up with a cover story as to why no one has seen me before.

I begin to walk onto campus but before I take more than a few steps forward I receive a tap on my shoulder. I look down to see a familiar Koneko looking at me with a small grin barely visible, "Hello Anos, what are you doing here?"

"Oh, nothing just taking a look at my sister's new pawn. What can you tell me about him." Koneko's grin disappears and she gives me a flat stare, "I didn't know Rias resurrected him yet," when she says this I can hear nothing but disgust in her voice.

"His name is Issei Hyoudou and he is nothing but a pervert." I raise my eyebrow at her one-word description of him, "pervert?"

"Yes, in this school he is in a group known as the perverted trio." I sigh and pinch my nose in annoyance and disgust because the power I sense in him is powerful and is wasted on a pervert with weak magic.

"Does he have any positive qualities?" "No, he is nothing but a disgusting pervert." "Maybe being resurrected changed him." She shakes her head at my answer, "that much pervertedness can't be killed."

The bell rings signaling school is starting, Koneko then looks to the school then back to me, "what are you going to do now?" "I was going to sneak to get a better look at her pawn but if a new student showed out of nowhere Sona would definitely find out about it but do you think you could show me around?" Koneko nods, "I don't mind but how?"

" Have you gotten any better with your transformation?" Koneko widens her eyes in the realization of what I was indirectly asking. A few moments later in a flash, she transforms me into a necklace around her neck.

The necklace was nothing too spectacular but simple in design, it is a silver necklace with a yellow stone matching her eyes with thin silver swirling around the stone. I then speak in her head, "could you do me a favor and not speak of this to anyone?"

Koneko rubs the necklace softly, "sure I won't tell a soul but, you will owe me one." I chuckle, "you better hurry or you will be late for class."

Transition to Homeroom

Koneko was currently sitting in the back of the class next to the acting reading a book while communicating with Anos in her head, "So how are you liking class so far?" "I understand the importance but the information could be alot harder."

"I don't think so it seems at the appropriate level for first years." "I guess you are right. But what else can you tell me about Issei besides him being a pervert."

Anos's question is met with silence for a few seconds, "honestly there isn't much to tell, I tend to avoid him the best I but I have some rumors that if you can get past the pervert he is actually quite nice. Although I haven't tried to see if this is true or not for a personal reason."

"Understandable and what has Rias discovered so far about his sacred gear?" "Not much all she knows is that he has one and the fallen are watching him." "So how long has Rias known that fallen Angels have been here in Kuoh?"

"She has only told me and Kiba recently but I can guess she has known longer than that." But before Anos could ask another question a girl walks up getting her attention "hey, Koneko that is a nice necklace where did you get it from?"

Koneko looks down at the necklace rubbing it with her hand then looks back at the girl with a small grin, "it was a gift." After saying that the whole class attention was now on Koneko with the girl stepping back in shock and amazement caught off guard by Koneko showing emotion.

She then slams her hands on the desk looking between the necklace and Koneko, "wait do you...have...a...boy...friend." After saying the whole class was in an uproar about the accusation.

Numerous girls instantly started to gossip to each other about who the guy might be while others just started bombarding Koneko with questions. While some males in the in-classroom were passed out from shock or were cursing the lucky man that won Konekos heart.

Koneko for her part wanted to clear up the misconception but was getting asked too many questions to get out a word. So she just sat in silence waiting for all of them to quiet down and took a good ten minutes for class to quiet noticing that Koenko hadn't said a word since they all started going crazy, "let me clear one thing up the person I got this from is not my boyfriend he is just a good friend of mine.

So stop asking me aking me all these questions and let me get back to my book?" But the girl original who had started it all wasn't done, "you say he's not your boyfriend but do you like him."

Koneko instantly stiffens up grabbing almost everyone's attention noticing her silence, "no he's not my...boyfriend," as Koneko was saying this she was trying to stop a small blush from forming on her face and was doing a good job hiding it with her blank expression.

But the girl notices Konekos pause before saying boyfriend hinting that there was something there, then a teasing grin forms on her face but before she could say anything the bell rings for lunch and Koneko promptly gets up and leaves the classroom. Leaving the rest of the class wondering if Koneko really had a boyfriend or not.

Time skip to lunch

"Hey, Koneko do you have any friends at school? From what I know kids your age should have friends right." "Yes I do but, I prefer to eat alone and since you are here I wanted to make sure no one would bother me."

"I guess you really missed me then." Koneko blushes, "not really I just figured you could tell me some stories about your past again. " I chuckle, "really but I have already told you so much but since I am intruding on your personal time I guess I have no choice. What would you like to know?"

Koneko pauses for a few seconds to think, "I want to hear more about your interactions with the Hero Kanon." "Sure guess I should start at the beginning." thirty minutes later "To me, it sounds like you really respected hero Kanon."

"Yes, no matter how many times I would kill him he would always rise up against me in the end. He showed me what a true hero was. Before I died we made a promise to become friends when I reincarnated."

"I still think it's weird that had seven of those source things. Is it really that amazing?" "Yes, he is the only person in the world to ever have seven sources. " "I still don't understand it but if you say it is. It must be."

The bell rings again signaling lunch has ended. Koneko gets up brushing the dirt off her skirt. From what I see from the necklace she is walking to her next class then stops turning to some stairs. Unidentified boy one "Filing that image for later."

Unidentified boy two, "there's just something about her, she's like a naughty, red-headed princess you know?" Issei's voice, "I wouldn't mind playing with those fun bags," "Koneko those perverts better not be talking about my Rias." "I'm gonna say no so you don't destroy my school, but I will smack them around for you later."

Transition to end of the day Anos POV

"Thanks, Koneko I was able to some of the information I was looking for." She nods at me with her blank expression and says, "yes it was nice to see you. What are you gonna do now?"

"There are still some things I want to do before I head back to the underworld. But I go there is something I want to give you." Kenko was just staring at me waiting for what I was about to say, I then lift my right hand and a small bright light starts to shine in my hand.

Then once the light dies down the same necklace that she transformed me into was in my hand. Koneko was staring at me with tiny stars in her eyes, "is that for me? Why did you create it."

"In class, you said a friend gave it to you. So it wouldn't make sense for you to come to class the next day not wearing it." A small blush starts to form on her face and she takes the necklace, "thank you Anos." I put her on the head and I can feel her purr in my hands.

I then remove my hand and tell her goodbye she had a small pout on her face but says goodbye and walks away toward the old school building. I teleport to where I sense Issei, it doesn't look like his house but a friend's house.

I would look into the boy's house but they are looking at porn and I have no interest in that. I didn't have to wait long because I could sense his aura walking towards the door and I can also sense another fallen angle moving in his direction.

I follow him as he runs through the city with a crazed look on his face then, he reaches the fountain where he died yesterday.

The fallen angel who had also been following him walks to Issei as he turns around saying, "Well, this really is unfortunate. Me running into you, that is." From my perspective, the boy is scared shitless and jumps away out of reflex from the fallen angle.

"Looking for a way out," says the fallen angel in a trench coat with a fedora and black dress pants. Another fallen angel is trying to kill this kid, either Azazel is trying to start another war or these fallen angels are acting independently.

Suddenly I look at Issei and he starts to run away in the opposite direction, but he doesn't get far before the fallen angle catches up to him and lands in front of him. I sigh internally, I didn't want to get involved but it looks like I have to.

Issei POV

What the fuck is going on who is this guy? This guy has the same wings as Yuma. He then lands in front of me saying, "such cowardice. I can't abide lower-class beings." What the fuck is this guy talking about lower beings what doe that even mean.

"So let's see… it appears as though your friends and master are nowhere to be found." Master what the fuck is this guy talking about I don't have a master… "You show no signs of disappearing, nor are any magic circles being deployed."

Did he just say magic like that shit from movies and some porn games? " Therefore I will assume you are a stray" I start to turn to get the fuck out of here hoping this is all dream just like last night.

The guy then throws the spear and it curves at the last second and instead of it hitting my heart goes into my back pocking out through my stomach. I cry out in pain and fall to my knees then my mind starts to go blank. I can hear him talking but it doesn't register, and I slowly lose consciousness.

Back to Anos

There I just saved your life but I can't let you walk away without a scratch after what you said about my sister. Luckily you won't die since I can sense Rias magic coming this way with two others.

I hang back for a while in the forest to see how Rias will handle this situation in front of her. Both her and the fallen both talk for a little bit with him threatening Rias. A few seconds later the fallen Angle leaves and dissolves the barrier.

The three of them walk to the boy passed out on the ground with Akeno saying, "she couldn't believe he ran into a fallen one." With Koneko saying, "he's lucky the spear didn't go any higher or he would have already died but if we leave him he will."

I turn around to leave when I hear Rias say, "that won't happen. I'll see to it myself." I stop then think to myself wait how. She isn't good at healing magic unless she plans to...I turn back around in a flash of red all three disappear.

My eyes narrow and I try to sense out where Rias has gone and I find her. I teleport to Issei's house and I can tell from where I was standing outside his house. He and Rias are upstairs. I extend my devil wings and fly to his window and just as I thought can see Issei is naked and unconscious in his bed with Rias casually undressing.

I teleport into the room and in a calm yet demanding tone I ask her, "What do you think you are doing?" Rias jumps back in fear and falls on the floor then looks at me in surprise, "what the hell are you doing here?"

"I could ask you the same thing," as I point to her with only her shirt and underwear on. She scratches her cheek with an innocent smile on her face, "well you know that I could never sleep unless I was fully nude you know that. I used to always sleep in your bed naked after having a bad dream."

My eyebrow twitched in annoyance at her statement, "I am your brother so I have no sexual attraction to you, so it never bothered me, plus you always wore a robe so you were never fully naked. So I ask you again what are you doing?"

She looks at the unconscious Issei then back to me and starts to cower under my gaze. "I was going to heal him." I snap my fingers and his wounds close, "there he is healed put your clothes on."

She jumps up then reaches down to grab her shirt then stops, "wait a second you never answered me what are you doing here? " I narrow my eyes at her, "clothes." She nervously smiles and picks up her clothes to put them on.

"Now you answer me what are you doing her Anos." "I wanted to check up on you so I followed your power here," I say in a calm tone not lying but not telling the full truth. She then smiles placing one hand on her hip, "you must have really missed me. Well, come on let's go get a bite to eat. I'm a little hungry."

I chuckle, " sure just no Japanese food." She looks at me like I am crazy, "are you serious we are Japan. There is Japanese food everywhere." I walk closer to her rustling her hair, "I was just kidding, let's go to the place that has the best food and I'll treat you." She looks at me with a happy smile, "sure, I know just the place."

Author's Note

I have been thinking about making longer chapters for a while because I feel like they are too short, so chapter 9 will be a lot longer and chapters after that will grow longer. But if people think that the length is fine I will leave it as if.
