Chapter 11 Show Me the Results of Your Training

An Hour After Breakfast Later

Currently, Mittelt was wearing a red windbreaker jacket with white stripes going down the sleeves, with black tights. She standing in front of a test dummy with both of her hands in front of her trying to create a small fireball without a magic circle. "Anos I think this maybe be impossible I don't know how to use fire magic and I definitely can't use it without a magic circle."

Anos was currently standing behind Mittelt with his arms crossed, "you may be right but at the moment we are just trying to find your magic affinity. So it's fine if you can't use fire. Now let's move to the next element lightning."

Mittelt drops her arms in defeat, "okay let's get started," Anos walks to Mittelt placing his hand on her head to show her how to use a certain spell, and a few seconds later he lets go, "okay now try to create a spark go lightning. "

Mittelt turns back to the test dummy, closing her eyes trying to visualize lightning but her thoughts trail off thinking about how dark it is with her eyes closed but that split second would help her awaken her first demonic spell. Mittelt then felt a rush of power start to build up around her body, she then started to hear a crackling of lighting.

Mittelt slowly opened her eyes to see a red magic circle with reddish-black lighting swirling around her hand, but the lighting disappears and Mittelt drops to her knees gasping for air.

Clapping could be heard from behind Mittelt but she was too exhausted to turn around, "excellent you just used your first demonic spell Jirasd." In between breaths, Mittelt asked Anos, "what is Jirasd I feel exhausted? "

Anos then crouches down in front of her grinning, "Jirasd is a type of Origin magic that comes from me. Jirasd is black lightning that gathers on the user's hand, increasing in size and power until it becomes a destructive typhoon of power. And now that you have awakened it you should be able to use it easier now, but for now, let's take a break. Using that spell drains a lot of magic and if you don't know how to use it you will end up draining more magic than needed."

Mittelt eyes flickered with excitement at the prospect of learning a new spell, she then tried to stand with her legs shaking under her weight and falls down but before she hit the ground Anos catches her in a bridal carriage smiling, "that is why I said take break your magic has been drained and the mutated piece inside you, probably converted a lot of your magic into demonic magic leaving you with almost no magic. "

But for Mittelt her mind had gone completely blank and couldn't really understand what was going on except that Anos face was a little too close causing her to blush, and the only reason why she hadn't passed out yet from the exhaustion of draining her magic was that her heart was beating so loud it felt like an alarm clock was going off inside her head.

Mittelt tried to speak but could only stutter not really forming any complete sentences just saying random sounds and words.

Anos just shakes his head and a giant white magic circle appears below him, and Mittelt blinks her eyes and clenches her fist, "huh…what's this I feel like my magic is being restored," she then looks to Anos awaiting an answer. "This is Gyze, it's kind of like the evil piece system in a way but unlike the evil piece system the king supplies the power to his or her's subordinates. Although this is just a stopgap solution, but it does look like your magic reserves have increased a little."

"What do you mean my magic reserves have increased? I'm a fallen angel and after falling, it takes almost twice as long for our power to increase compared to regular angels." Anos doesn't say anything and just smirks, slowly putting down Mittelt since she was able to stand and turn off Gyze.

"Show me your fallen angel wings." Mittelt tilts her head in confusion, "why the sudden interest in my wings? "

"Just humor me. You might see something new." Mittelt sighs and extends her wings then looks back at them. What she saw was not what she was expecting to see. On her back were two wings on each side of her back four in total. She slowly reached out to touch her wings in disbelief, then back to Anos, "how did I get another set of wings? It should have taken a few hundred years until I got another set? "

Anos smirks, "remember, the evil the piece I gave you is converting your magic into demonic magic. That means you now have two different magic reserves, and since the evil piece is converting your magic into demonic magic.

Your natural magic reserves are being increased since your own magic is now being drained constantly as if you are casting a spell non-stop."

Mittelt nods not really fully understanding but understanding the gist of it but then a thought jumps to her head, "so how are you able to use demonic magic since you don't have an evil piece? "

"Well to keep a very long story short I created a spell using my source or soul to convert my devil magic into demonic magic." "That kind of makes sense I think but what is a source and when are you doing this? I haven't once seen you cast a spell like that." "Well, you wouldn't have...I cast the spell sixteen years ago and cast another one to suppress my power."

Mittelt nods but snaps her head at Anos, "wait a second let me just clarify something, you have been keeping two spells sustained for sixteen years. Is that not exhausting keeping two spells active for so long."

Anos just shrugs "not really, I have been doing this for a long time," after saying that another question pops into her head, "so how much of your original power have you regained?" "I have regained around thirty percent of my original power."

"That's it? I thought you would have regained more," Anos puts his hands in his pockets as two magic circles appear over his heart, "well these two magic circles require a lot of magic and because the converse process I am using requires me to drain a certain level of devil magic to get a mediocre amount of demonic magic in value."

Mittelt wanted to ask more questions but Anos cuts her off, "enough ideal chatter for now and now that you awakened your first demonic spell I will teach you how to use it properly." Mittelt nods with an eager glint in her eye's ready to get started.

Two Hours Later

If someone were to be looking at the training area they would think a lot of explosions spells went off. There were large holes all over the training area of varying sizes, some were about the size of a small golf ball while others could fit a large car inside and in the center of one of them was Mittelt.

Currently, she had burnt marks on her body and she was coughing up smoke, "hey Anos how was that I think I was able to control it a lot better but the power grew too large and I lost control again? "

Anos was currently walking towards Mittelt looking at the size of the crater, "you are getting better at using the spell but watch this. " Anos lifts both his hands generating the black and red lightning but on his right hand the lighting was crackling more widely while in his left the lightning was more controlled, "now Mittelt which do you think is stronger and why? "

Mittelt was about to point to the one that was crackling more but then points to the one that wasn't sensing that this was a trick question, "well I don't really know why but this one is stronger but I can tell this is definitely a trick question."

Anos chuckles a little, "well you get half-points for seeing the obvious trick but you don't get the other half since you don't know why but I won't chastise you for it but watch this."

Anos points his hand to the opposite side of the training hall at a dummy, then fires a bolt of black lightning and the dummy just explodes not creating a large explosion but large enough to create a small shock wave.

He then extends his left hand but before he fires he cast a barrier around Mittelt winking at her but Mittelt's sweet drops have a feeling that this barrier won't do anything.

Anos then fires the spell and unlike last time bolt of lighting was flying much faster but as soon it struck the dummy a large explosion of lighting engulfed the dummy. But when the spell and dust died down a crater ten times the size of anything Mittelt had created before was left. Anos then turns to Mittelt dropping the barrier around her, "so what do you think I am going to teach you now?"

Mittelt was just staring at the massive crater dumbstruck and amazed, "yea I am almost certain about what we are going to do next. " Anos nods, "good you are catching on more quickly. Let's get started."

Another Two Hours Later

Anos was currently standing next to Mittelt. She was trying to get the small black lighting in her hand under control while also adding magic to it without letting the lighting grow any larger. She was currently sweating a lot while clenching her right hand.

"Good this is your limit of control without letting the lightning go out of control. Any more and the lighting will lose shape." The small black lighting was the size of a golf ball, "now shoot it at the dummy."

Mittelt slowly lifts her hand with veins slowly starting to bulge out of her arms, she then fires off the spell but falls back a little feeling the kickback from the force of the spell. But before she fell to the ground she regained her footing to look at her spell, the lightning fly's forward hitting its mark obliterating the dummy creating a large explosion nowhere the size of what Anos did but large enough to destroy a large car.

After watching the after match of her spell Mittelt leans back as if about to fall with Anos lifting his hands to catch her but she catches herself wiping the sweat off her face with a cocky grin, "don't worry I'm not about to fall down just tell me what do you think? "

Anos puts his hands down with a smirk, "that was excellent. Soon I will teach you other spells but let's call it a day. You need a break and I have a feeling that Grayfia will be coming to collect us soon."

Anos then touches Mittelt on her shoulder teleporting both of them to his room he then points to the bathroom, "you can shower in there." Anos then walks out of the room while Mittelt walked to the bathroom dragging her feet from being completely exhausted.

After exiting and closing the door behind him Anos pauses after seeing a familiar maid with black hair and pointy ears staring at him, "hello Rin." "I have returned to observe. What are you doing?" "Well at the moment I am just waiting for Mittelt to shower and change." "This is boring…I came to see something interesting."

"I never said I was always going to be doing something interesting." "I see…I wish to see your eyes again then? I find them intriguing." "Well, I am trying to keep my power secret. So showing it off would defeat the purpose."

Ophis then takes a step back looking to the left, "someone is coming." Anos then looks to the right noticing the maid he talked to earlier, "she is bringing a change of clothes for Mittelt." "Hello Lord Anos I have to the clothes you requested and…" the maid then trails off after looking at the unknown maid, "may I ask who is this I haven't seen her before?" "This my personal maid Rin."

The maid looks to Rin locking eyes with her and shivers slightly, "it is a pleasure to meet you miss Rin. How did you become Lord Anos's personal maid?" The disguised Ophis looks from the maid to Anos then back to Anos, "I have a troubled past and wish not to speak of it ask my master...Lord Anos."

The Maid then looks to Anos, "I am busy at the moment and if I have time later I wouldn't mind telling you." The maid then shakes her head in disapproval, "oh no Lord Anos you don't have to tell a lowly maid like myself something so personal."

"Well the offer stands and if you change your mind just let me know." The maid then bows slightly, "yes Lord Anos I thank you for your kindness now if you would excuse me I think your new peerage would want these clothes when she gets done showering also, all the preparations for her room are now complete."

Anos nods stepping from in front of the door to allow her to enter. A few seconds later the maid walks back out and bows to Anos and takes her leave. After that, both Anos and Ophis stand in silence not really having anything to say to one another but the creaking of the door is the one to break the silence with Mittelt's head poking out, "Hey Anos I am done but are the clothes on the bed for me. I could have just used magic to create a new pair."

"That's true but those clothes are more formal for where we are…" but Anos pauses after a silver magic circle forms next to him with Grayfia on top, "greetings Lord Anos I have come to collect you at the request of the Great Devil King Lucifer…" she pauses after looking at the maid standing next to him then at Mittelt then continues, "but I can see that you will need some time to get ready."

"It won't be long we just have to wait for my pawn to get changed and we can go." After saying that Mittelt goes back inside the room to get changed and reappears a few minutes later. Wearing a similar maid uniform to Rin but hers was white and red instead of all black.

All four of them group together to teleport to the meeting hall where the four devil kings meet for meetings. After the flash from the teleportation circle dies down Anos looks around to see his brother awaiting his arrival.

Sirzechs then gets up from his chair to greet his brother, "thank you for coming Anos and who might those two be behind you?" Anos looks to Mittelt and Rin, "the one on the right is my pawn Mittelt and the one on my left is Rin, my personal maid."

Sirzech nods with a raised eyebrow, "when did you decide to get a personal maid and a pawn. This seems a little out of character" "I decided on it just recently and I thought she could come in handy at times. As for Mittelt, I have my reasons." After hearing that Sirzech raises his eyebrow even more, "that wasn't really a good answer but we don't have time just let's get started. I have other meetings I have to get to."

Anos and Sirzechs then walk to the table taking a seat, "before you came here Anos I was in a meeting with the devil council and the Phenex family about the arranged marriage. They are trying to get this marriage pushed as far up as possible. Also after the meeting, before I walked out I heard them mention you by name so they could also be planning something else for you. I also talked to Rias and I can tell that situation is bothering her intensely."

"Your right I tried talking to her about it when I took her out to eat when I was on earth but she didn't want to talk to me about it. This is off since she always comes to me when something is troubling her. "

Sirzech sighs in defeat, "she probably thinks that the both of us have given up trying to help her but that could be further from the truth." "Earlier you said that you think that the Phenex family and the devil council might be planning something for me behind the scenes what do you think it might be?"

Sirzech leans back in his chair to think for a few seconds, "they could be trying to make an ultimatum." Anos raises his eyebrow, "what kind of ultimatum are you thinking?" "I don't know but they could be trying to make a back of plan so they may try to drag you into this." "Do you think Riser has seen the hidden agreement in the marriage contract?"

Sirzech shakes his head, "I don't think so. By the way, at the meeting, he was unusually quiet but it makes me think he might he might be up to something as well." Anos pauses for a few seconds, "correct me if I am wrong but there is a meeting in four days right?" "Yes, it's." Anos nods, "good if I observe anything I will let you know." Sirzechs glances at Grafiya, "Grayfia will be there also to mediate since I can not attend personally."

Sirzechs pauses crossing his arms and closing his eyes to think then opens them a few seconds later, "now let's move have you gotten any new information about what the fallen are doing in Kuoh?" "I have something but not enough to give you anything worth worrying over but I am getting close to something. So I will have something for you in a few days."

"Understood let me know if you find anything else." Both Anos and Sirzechs stand with a red teleportation circle appearing below Anos and the two others that came with him, "so long brother until we meet again," after saying this Anos, Mittelt, and Rin all teleport to the Anos room.

After appearing in the room the first one to speak was Mittelt as she falls to her knees shaking in fear, "that was the Devil King Lucifer, I thought I was going to pass out, his aura almost made me want to run away in fear."

Ophis who had been watching Mittelt just stares at her, "I am glad I came to this meeting, it was intriguing to watch the fallen freak it kept me entertained." Anos then places his hand on Mittelt's shoulder causing her to jump a little from the sudden contact, "Mittelt for the next four days I am going to be teaching and training you how to use your devil, demonic, and holy magic so be prepared for an extensive training."

Mittelt opened her mouth to say something after hearing something that confused her for a second, "wait you just said holy magic how will help me develop my holy magic if you can't use it?"Anos doesn't say anything as a devilish smirk form on his face while staring directly into her eyes, "wait how can you use holy magic it shouldn't be possible?"

"I do not understand...Anos how can you use holy magic. As far as I am aware that shouldn't be possible," then Ophis pauses for a second looking away from Anos then starts mumbling, "but it could be possible since the God of the Bible is dead along with the original four devil kings upsetting the balance of light and dark."

Anos reaches out his hand to help Mittelt up while also looking at Ophis, "well that's a theory and could be true for other beings but it has nothing to do with me I could use holy magic long before I got here."

Now on her feet Mittelt then looks at Anos with more respect, "that's kind of cool but how will my training be conducted now? " "I'm glad you asked in the mornings I will be teaching you spells and in the afternoon I will be training you on what I taught you and on the fourth day we will be sparring."

Mittelt steps back in fear after remembering what Anos's parents said during breakfast, "I don't know if I am strong enough to spar with you. Maybe we could just stick to teaching and training?"

Anos didn't say anything and just looked to Ophis who had been standing in silence, "you don't have to come back for the next four days since I will be training her for the most part." "I don't know."

Anos raises his eyebrow in confusion, "what do you mean I don't know?" "I do not know and I do not understand." "You're making less sense than usual. Do you not know if you want to stay or leave." "Am I a distraction? Do you not wish for me to observe you?"

"No, I was just asking because I figured you would be bored just watching me train her." "I understand now. I will stay…I wish to observe your power and abilities."

Time Skip Four Days Later

Over the past four days, Mittelt magical abilities along with her magical capacity had almost tripled than it was four days ago. Anos had taken it upon himself to make sure at her level that she would be a challenge most low mid-class devils.

Anos had also taught Mittelt a few practical spells since it seemed that her magic affinity was only for lightning and couldn't learn the other elements but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing since Jirasd was a pretty versatile spell and could be used in almost all situations.

Even after the four days of training she still couldn't control the spell anywhere close to how Anos wielded it. She could only control the spell three percent better than when she first learned it.

Although Anos told her this was normal Mittelt was still a little upset since she barely progressed with mastering the spell. Though learning demonic magic was harder when it came to devil magic it was surprisingly a lot easier to learn.

During the training sessions, Anos made Mittelt utilize the other pieces so that her fighting abilities would be more versatile and not be dependent on one piece. Just like when using demon magic she still couldn't learn any other elements besides the lighting.

Mittelt was able to use the normal lightning spell but Anos taught her how to be more versatile with her magic using it in different ways.

This led her to develop three new spells, chain lighting which is a lightning bolt that is able to hit multiple targets with one bolt of lightning. At her current power level, she can only hit four targets at one time.

The downside of this spell is at her current power Mittelt is only able to injure four effectively any more than that and the spell gets too weak to cause any damage.

The second one is seeking thunder which allows a bolt of lighting to seek out an intended target never missing its mark. The only downside is that over time the bolt loses destructive power and speed.

The last spell is her more draining spell since it has a long prep time but since the spell utilizes every last drop of her magic it leaves her drained. Mittelt calls this spell bolt, using what she learned about compressing magic from Anos and at the same time using the strength of her rook piece.

She gathers lightning in both hands and compresses the magic-using her magical abilities and the power of the rook to control it. Then once she reaches her limit she claps both her hands together in the form of finger guns channeling the lighting through her finger.

The result of this action is a single stream of lighting about seven inches long and if you were to see if you would be confused after building up that magic power a larger bolt of lightning should have been shot out but the reason why it is so small is because of how much she condensed it.

But the power contained in the spell is enough to critically or kill a high-class devil. The only downside is that it requires all of Mittelt's concentration to keep to spell from blowing up in her face so when she cast this spell she needs to be almost perfectly still.

The most progress she made was in her holy magic, currently, she was able to create more weapons with her holy magic. Although she got better at using holy magic she couldn't increase the potency of her holy magic.

Currently, Mittelt was talking to Ophis in the training area after Anos called it a day to go work on new spells that could help him return home and told Mittelt he would be back in two hours and to meet him back here for their sparing session."Please I need your help I want to show how him how powerful I am."

Ophis cocks her head to the side in confusion, "the purpose of this sparing session is to show Anos how strong you are and how do you plan to do that if I help you?" "I know but something about what Anos said doesn't make sense."

{Flash Back}

Anos and Mittelt had just finished their training session and Mittelt was drinking a bottle of water, "so what do you think?" Anos crosses his arm closing his eyes at the same time, "your skills have improved a lot but we shall see if you can put your new skills to the test.

I will be back in two hours after doing some more research." Anos uncrosses his arms opening his eyes and was about to teleport away but stops letting a small smirk form on his face, "also you may use anything at your disposal to fight me."

{Flash Back End}

"After saying that I felt like if he wanted me to fight him alone he could have just said that but he didn't. But if you help me you will get to fight Anos as well and witness his power for yourself."

When Mittelt first asked Ophis to help her she was reluctant to help her but she was starting to consider it after Mittelt said that she could test his power for herself, and as a dragon, Ophis couldn't deny that she always wanted to fight strong opponents but as one of strongest beings in existence there were only two that could challenge her power but deep down she really wanted to fight Anos and test the depth of his power.

Ophis just nods, "I shall help you in this fight but don't misunderstand I will not give you my power." Mittelt smirks, "don't worry I don't want it but I do have a plan." But Ophis shakes her head, "no…plans are a waste of time…we will just fight him straight on."

Mittelt sweet drops a little bit and points to herself, "you do know I am not a god so I can't toe to toe with him just like you." "That is not my problem fallen, but if you need a plan make one and if I find it acceptable I will consider following it." Mittelt slaps her forehead and just sighs, "fine luckily I have one. So this is what we are gonna do…"

Two Hours Later

Anos was standing in the training area looking between Mittelt and Ophis with Mittelt having a small smirk on her face, "so you asked for help can't say I disapprove but why did you ask her for help?"

Mittelt shrugs with her smirk growing longer, "huh are you scared now Anos." Anos just shakes his head, "I don't get scared but talking is getting us nowhere," Anos then snaps his fingers teleporting them to the same area where he and Koneko used to spar and at the same time erects an enormous 1,000-mile barrier and says one word, "come."

Mittelt extends her devil wings taking to the skies but Anos fires a small ball of fire out of his hand hitting Mittelt in her chest causing her to fall crashing down into the forest, "you're going to have to do better than that."

The earth cracks underneath Anos causing him to jump back a few feet as twenty purple snakes emerge from the ground where Anos was standing and he smirks, "so you finally decided to do something Ophis." Anos eyes red glow and he looks down to see that the snakes were coming from her feet.

Anos lifts his foot and steps slightly causing the earth to crack destroying the snakes but Ophis doesn't move a muscle she was staring at Anos but then a small smirk forms on her face and a large lightning bolt come lying at Anos from behind him.

But Anos doesn't move just catches the lightning bolt with his hand then throws it back in the direction it came, then a large boom erupts in the forest and Mittelt comes flying out of the forest with a small burn mark on her left calf showing that she was barely dogged Anos counter-attack, "come on Mittelt is this the best you can do? At this rate, you will never be strong enough to avenge your sister."

Mittelt knew what Anos was trying to do but Mittelt kept her cool after Anos taught her that there is nothing wrong with being angry but never let your anger control your actions.

Mittelt just stares at Anos not showing any emotion and she was using also using this time to slowly heal her leg since Anos taught her how to cast healing on herself that you can do when in battle, "your right I am still not strong enough but I will be and when I am I will avenge her just you wait."

After her declaration, Mittelt points to Anos and numerous sparks of light emitted from the forest. At that moment almost a hundred bolts of lightning came flying at Anos and he smirks with him dodging left and right but anytime he tried to block then lightning it would move out of the way avoiding being destroyed causing Anos to smirk more.

Anos also noticed something some of the lightning bolts weren't moving but sometimes would merge together with the ones that were moving, Anos then thinks to himself, "good she is trying to overcome one of the weaknesses of her spells."

Due to lack of paying attention Anos senses were telling him to move and he jumps up and no more than half a second later the earth shatters destroying where he was just standing creating a large shock wave. The smirk on Anos face was growing wider by the second, "so you finally decided to move again."

In a flash of purple breaking the sound barrier. Ophis comes flying at Anos with her arm extended for a punch aimed at his head but Anos dodges to the left avoiding her strike but as Ophis was flying past Anos, he lifts his knee hitting her in the stomach sending her flying upwards toward the sky almost hitting the barrier.

But Ophis regains her balance stopping then looking to her stomach and back to Anos who was staring at her with his finger pointed at something behind her.

Ophis turns around to see a giant magic circle twice the size of an NFL football field. With hundreds of asteroids varying at different sizes with some being the size of small to large houses.

Ophis's expression doesn't change and just lifts her hand but a black chain wraps around her pulling her to the ground with the asteroids following behind her causing large explosions a few miles from where Anos was. Anos then turns his attention to the right nothing after sensing a weird combination of auras and smirks.

Anos was about to attack Mittelt but he sensed an unearthly amount of power building up from where Ophis crashed to the ground then a bright purple light engulfs the area and Anos lifts his hand in front of him creating a magic barrier, as a tsunami of purple fire comes flying at him.

Anos smiles as his barrier start to crack slightly but Anos pours more magic into it causing the crack to disappear. "I can definitely see why she is called the infinite dragon god," after a few seconds the destructive power dies down and Anos glances behind himself and chuckles.

The entire forest behind him was completely gone, there was nothing but dirt and ashes as smoke rose from the ground.

The multiple barriers that he placed were on the verge of breaking but he restores them back to their original state, Anos then turns his attention to the direction of where the attack came from and Ophis was just standing there looking at him with a small smirk as her aura started to rise and Anos rose his own to match hers as a satisfied smirk started to form on his face.

He then lifts his hand toward where he could sense Mittelt but he sensed that she was up to something but left it alone for the moment. Then black wings, horns, and tail then grew from Ophis's body as she enters a partial transformation as her power skyrockets to new lengths.

Anos then cracks his fingers and neck as his smirk widens, even more, he then starts to walk toward Ophis as she does the same. Then both start off at a slow walk but then both their walks turn to a jog then a run, and finally dash toward each other faster than almost any supernatural could move or comprehend.

Their fist collides creating an enormous shock wave causing both to stumble back slightly but both recover almost as soon as they stumbled. For Ophis she had the raw power, while Anos had the power to match but he had more technique and was a far better combatant which gave him the upper hand but Ophis had the stamina to keep the fight going until the end of time.

If you were to see this fight you would think a purple and red star was fighting for dominance over the sky as large shocks waves of wind and power were destroying the surrounding area.

For Anos he was doing three things at once he was currently pouring magic into the barriers because if he didn't every supernatural in the world would know that they were fighting, he was also protecting Mittelt from both their auras because she would probably lose consciousness and die from the power that they were both putting out, and he was currently fighting Ophis having the time of his life.

In his world, there were few who had the capability to go toe to toe with him in a fistfight even though at the moment he still wasn't at full power but he had more than enough power to fight Ophis hands-on, protect Mittelt, and reinforce the barrier easily.

For Ophis for the first time in her life, she felt something and she didn't know what it was, but she knew she liked it every time she increased her power Anos would raise his own to match hers, and with every punch, she threw Anos countered or matched perfectly.

Ophis flies higher into the sky as her chest expands and a devilish smirk forms on Anos face as he lifts his hand up, Ophis then lets out a mighty roar causing all the clouds in the sky to disintegrate with a tidal wave of purple fire to come flying out her mouth down on Anos.

To counter a blue magic forms in the front of Anos's hand as a tidal wave of water shoots toward the purple flame. Both attacks collide with Ophis's attack completely evaporating the water as it comes toward Anos but he dodges away from the attack, Ophis looks around curiously with narrowed eyes.

For some reason, she couldn't sense his presence but she snaps her head to the right after sensing danger and tilts her head to the right as a fireball flies past her head, "I'm surprised you sensed that attack, I can definitely see why dragons are considered the strongest existence in this world."

A satisfied smirk forms on her face and for the first time in Ophis's existence, she felt the thrill of battle and she suddenly started to understand why some people loved to fight but she wasn't power-hungry. She didn't want to go out into the world and just fight, for the heck of it, for that moment she only desired to fight Anos and if she could she would do it for all eternity she would.

Anos then sends a roundhouse kick to Ophis's temple cracking one of her horns sending her to the ground but she comes flying back to Anos as soon as she hit the ground, Anos then began to notice that Ophis's power was rising by the second and she didn't seem like she was anywhere near running out of steam causing Anos to get even more excited.

Anos flies towards her but he felt something wrap around his led and yank him towards to ground but he didn't have time to look at what grabbed his leg as an Ophis was already on top of him as she sends a punch in the middle of his chest causing him to grit his teeth a little as he was sent flying in the opposite direction.

Anos stands from the crater as he was sent flying into and Ophis lands a few feet in front of him as he brushes some dirt off his shoulder, "I can see you are having just as much fun as I am?"

"Fun I am..." but Anos lifts his hand already knowing what she was going to say but then he points to the smirk on his face then points back to Ophis, "you say you don't feel emotions but your normal dry smirk looks like it is filled with enjoyment."

Ophis then pokes face as her eyes narrow, "I can't lie your power is truly immense, I never imagined there would be an entity besides baka red or 666 that could withstand this much of my power but I doubt you can withstand all of my power yet since you are using your power to fuel the barrier around this area and that fallen, and your own strength."

Anos then laughs as an arrogant smile forms on his face, "I hope you don't think I have been using magic to fight you. The only magic I am using is to reinforce the barriers around this area and the one I put around Mittelt?"

Ophis then cocks her head in confusion, "are you saying you have been fighting me with no magic to boost your strength but I saw you flare out your aura." "Yea and that's all you saw I never boosted my own strength with magic but if you would like to see what I could do if boost my strength with magic I am happy to show you?"

The smirk on Ophis's face disappears as her eyes narrow, then her hand starts to glow a dark purple as the power she was releasing was starting to crack the barrier again so Anos restores them and strengthens them more than a thousand times from what they were previously and at the same time he does the same to Mittelt's barrier as he suspects what he's about to do could level to the entire underworld.

He then inhales deeply as his own fist starts to glow with a red aura he then gets into a stance to charge at Ophis and looks at the barriers again and increases it again just for assurance, Ophis then looks around noticing that the barriers are significantly stronger than before she then looks back to Anos and smirks slightly then copies the stance that Anos had.

Both vanish creating large craters and seconds after they disappeared they reappear in front of each other with their fist extended inches from hitting each other.

Scene Change to Mittelt

Currently, Mittelt was trying something reckless while Ophis distracted Anos, but she was aware that a while ago a small barrier was erected around her, she could see in the distance large flashes of red and purple but she tried to stay focused because she was trying to do something that Anos taught her while they were training.

But her attention is diverted as the earth started to vibrate as a large flash of magenta caught her attention in the distance but she had to squint her eyes because it was getting hard to see from the light.

Then her eyes widen because, in the distance, it was like a wave of trees and debris was coming at her at high speeds like a nuke just went off, she also noticed that the earth was also cracking and moving in her direction like a wave of water but thanks to Anos everything inside the barrier around Mittelt remained unharmed. She chuckles nervously, "I wonder if this is what the dinosaurs saw before they died?"

She then turns her attention back to what she was doing because she was almost done with the preparations, Mittelt was trying something that Anos told her could be possible if she combined the properly.

{Flash Back Three Days Ago}

Both Anos and Mittelt were in his room, Anos was teaching her about how different magics work with each and that it is possible to combine any spell as long as you understand the interaction between the two.

"Hey Anos so is possible to combine both Devil and Holy powers to create something new." Anos nods, "yes think about it like imbuing holy or devil magic into a sword. As long as you understand the power and understanding on how to imbue the sword with either attribute then you could theoretically do it too.

But since both those two are two opposing elements and naturally don't want to mix it will be hard to find the perfect balance between the two."

After their training session, Mittelt went to go train in secret to try something that was thinking about when Anos told her it was theoretically possible to try and combine both devil and holy power. She was in a separate training area from the one she and Anos would use.

"Okay, Anos did say it could be possible so as long as I understand how both magics work I should be able to combine my holy magic with this."

Currently, Mittelt had a light spear in her hand and in her right was a small spark of Jirasd, then she started to slowly move her hands closer and closer together with sweet starting to come down her forehead. Once the two opposing powers touched nothing happened for a few seconds but then in a large explosion of light and Mittelt was sent flying to the wall.

She coughed up some blood then looked at her hands. All ten fingers were broken with some fingers showing bone while others were completely burnt. Mittelt started to scream out in pain, then cast healing on herself but was struggling since she couldn't focus properly.

After what felt like fours hours but was actually thirty minutes Mittelt's hands were back to normal, "holy shit that hurt I thought I had it for a second but I felt like I had it for a second.

Anos did they say this might happen but I feel like I can do it as long as I understand the interaction between the two then I can make get the spell to work." Mittelt then drops to the ground sitting crisscrossed to think, "well when the explosion happened I didn't see any lightning only light, so does that mean Jirasd upset the balance between the two causing the light to go out of control and explode."

Mittelt then stands to her feet doing the same thing as last time but this time she had decreased the power from the lighting but kept the same output from the holy power as last time. She moves both powers together and like last time a large explosion of light happens to send her to the wall again.

Mittelt groans coughing profusely then looks at her hands that are broken in several places but to her surprise, it wasn't as bad as last time and the knockback from the explosion wasn't as powerful as last time either. Mittelt groans and slowly rises to her feet then slowly loses consciousness falling back to the ground.

{Flash Back End}

Currently, Mittelt was hiding in a spot that used to be a forest and while Ophis was distracting Anos, she was preparing a spell that she had been working on in secret. She had a light spear in her right hand and a small spark of black lightning in her left hand while two magic circles were between both of them to control the flow of magic. She was slowly and carefully putting the two elements together.

The lighting was flowing into the magic and in the opposite circle holy magic was flowing from the other magic circle, then a black light spear forms with a pulsing red aura.

Then Mittelt's eyes widen slightly as she slows the flow of lighting and increases the flow of holy magic slightly and the red aura dims a little but the spear starts to crack and then she reverses this effect over and over again to find the perfect balance.

She then hears something crash a few feet in front of her and she looks up to see Anos lying in a crater but he had an amused smile on his face. He stands and his arm was bleeding with the bone sticking out and a few seconds later Ophis then lands in front of him and her right arm was completely broken as blood was dripping from her hand but she looks at it and it instantly heals, with Anos's arm now completely healed as well.

The barrier around Mittelt disappears as she thinks to herself it's now or never, she then turns her attention to Anos slowly lifting her spear with the small movements causing the spear to glow more and more causing the lightning that was imbued into the spear to start crackling even more.

Mittelt lets out a silent prayer gaining a minor headache in the progress, then chucks the spear at Anos. Anos looks to the right noticing something interesting and sees a weird blacklight spear coming towards him, he lifts his hands to catch the spear and throw it back at her.

But before he could catch it purple snakes wrap around his hand restricting his movements and could feel that they were draining him of his power, and then tries to break free of the snakes but the snakes don't budge.

Anos eyes glow red but the snakes still don't budge, the spear was still heading towards him growing brighter and brighter as it got closer. The spear was seconds from hitting Anos and he smirks.

Mittelt looked at him in excitement awaiting for Anos to get caught up in the explosion. But to her surprise the spear vanished along with the snakes that were around his arm, Ophis who had appeared from nowhere was looking at Anos with hits of excitement in her eyes.

Mittelt takes a step back feeling a powerful aura emanating from Anos. She then looks up to see Anos looking at her with his eyes glowing a bright red but unlike unusual his eyes had a weird pattern that she hasn't seen in a while. Anos was staring at Mittelt with his eyes of destruction in full view and he had a confident smirk on his face.

He then looks to Ophis who was just casually staring at him, "finally I get to witness the full extent of your power." Anos then turns his attention to Mittelt, "I hope that's not the full extent of your power. Your magic control still needs some work that the last spell is too unstable to use in battle."

Mittelt head was cast down with her blonde hair covering her eyes, her body was shaking in fear because she never truly never got over how terrified she was from feeling the power from Anos's eyes. Anos eyes narrow, "is that all Mittelt?

How will you ever avenge your sister if you can't even get over your fear." Anos was about to say something else gets thrown off slightly when Mittelt starts to hit herself on the leg whispering to move herself, "move….I have to get strong...I can't be scared forever...now fucking move goddamit."

Mittelt doesn't move and Anos lifts his hand to blast her away but stops as Mittelt lets out a scream filled with rage, "AHHHH." Mittelt finally stops shaking and lifts her head then stares directly into Anos eyes but there wasn't fear only resolve and determination.

She then lifts her hand to the sky never looking away from Anos and thunder clouds start to form. Anos looks up to the thunder clouds curiously then back to Mittelt and he could tell that her magic was building up for a final attack, he then thinks to himself saying, "interesting so she wants to blast me away with this final attack.

I wanted this sparing session to last a little longer but this isn't a bad outcome either. I don't know what she is planning but this will be interesting," while thinking this a smirk starts to form on his face.

Mittelt magical power was rising and the thunder was getting louder and louder with the colds getting darker by the second. The wind was now swirling around her uprooting some trees with lighting striking in random places in the forest.

Anos was now getting more interested in what was happening, "now this is truly interesting her power is still rising, it seems that this storm is reacting to her emotions. Good but let us see how far I can push her."

Anos comes out of his thoughts then looks to Mittelt, she crying blood out both eyes and was still staring at Anos with her one hand raised, "Mittelt is this it? All you are doing is creating a light show in the sky and gust of wind. If this is the best you can then you should give up now you will never be able to avenge your sister."

Mittelt's eyes widen in surprise she then opens her mouth and screams out in rage, "don't fuck with me you dam DEVIL," and her power skyrockets again with blood starting to run down her nose and out her ears.

The thunder starts to grow louder and then it goes dangerously quiet, then a large lighting bolt almost twenty times the size Mittelt has ever created. The lightning bolt strikes the hand that she had raised causing her to drop to one knee shattering the ground she was standing on and tearing up parts of her clothes.

She catches herself with her other hand still glaring at Anos, as a steady stream of lighting was going into her hand and her body was starting to glow with sparks of lightning coming off her body.

Her hair was now flowing uncontrollably in the wind, she tried to stand but couldn't so she balanced her weight on her knees. She slowly lifts her hand to Anos with a small spark of black and reddish lightning was forming on her hand, now this gets Anos's attention even more now understanding what she was trying to do.

Then a large stream of black lighting explodes in a burst of power from her hand with Mittelt letting out a scream to match the amount of power she just released. The stream of lightning was the size of a house with small sparks coming off destroying random things in its path of destruction while coming towards Anos.

For Anos part he stood unmoving just staring down the large mass of destructive force heading towards him, he then lifts his hand back up with a rotating purple magic circle appearing in front of it, "let me apologize in advance Mittelt I may have gone too far with bringing out your emotions but thanks to that you have shown me the extent of your power and I shall give you a taste of my power as well as a reward."

After saying that a small fireball that looked like a miniature black sun appeared in front of his hand but the small ball was radiating a large amount of power, and then Anos release the spell toward the large stream of lightning.

Both spells collide creating a large black light and a shock wave knocking down a lot more trees in the process. The lighting that was going into Mittelt hands disappears and her stream of black lighting starts to lose power rapidly.

Then the light dies down revealing the small sun unharmed still moving towards Mittelt, for Mittelt part she was barely conscious she had exhausted all the magic and the converted magic she gained from the lighting she absorbed from earlier.

She coughed up blood falling back on her butt slowly losing consciousness but as her eyes were about to close something black appeared in front of her. It was Ophis she was looking at Mittelt curiously poking her face, "I said I would support you as planned, so I shall assist you now."

{Flash Back to Before the Sparing Session}

"Fine luckily I have one. So this is what we are gonna do? Trying to trick Anos is basically a fool's errand but my more powerful abilities have a long prep time and I know Anos won't give me the time to attack so that's where you will come in. I want you to distract him for me just long enough so I can prepare my attacks. I also have a new spell I want to try out but I will need time to prep it."

After telling Ophis her plan there was an awkward silence since Ophis was just starting at Mittelt causing her to chuckle nervously.

Ophis then scratches her head still staring at Mittelt and after a few minutes pass, Ophis speaks up saying, "this plan of yours is simple but that is good if your plan was too complex I wouldn't have followed it. I will also protect you if you are unable to fight." Mittelt perks up a bit after Ophis agreed to help her.

{Flash Back End}

The power draws near seconds from hitting the both of them but Ophis lifts her hand with a small purple infinity magic circle appearing. The spell strikes the magic circle but Ophis continues to just look at Mittelt as if she didn't notice that the spell hit her barrier. Ophis then looks away from Mittelt and cocks her head to the side, "why hasn't the spell not dispersed yet? How much power is contained inside it?"

Ophis then creates another magic circle behind the one she was using the block Anos's attack, she then drops the barrier with the small sun coming in contact with the second magic circle and the small sun disappears.

Ophis then looks to the right and a few seconds later a massive explosion goes off in the distance. She then looks back to Anos he had a satisfied smirk on his face, he then disappears in a flash of red and reappears two feet in front of Ophis, he then walks to Mittelt to heal her of her injuries" why heal her when you can just share your magic with her like last time."

Anos continues to heal her noticing that she had a few broken bones and both of her hands were burnt to a crisp. While healing Mittelt, Anos looks back to Ophis, "I could but her body needs to get used to restoring her own magic on her own.

Plus this will help her in the long run." Anos then picks up Mittelt in a bridal carriage, "well I need to get changed into something else because the meeting is in a few hours. What will you do now?"

Ophis pauses for a few seconds then responds, "I shall come. I find your interactions between some devils entertaining." "Do you want me to use the spell I used last time so we can communicate with our thoughts? I figure you don't want to talk to anyone except me." Ophis nods and the three teleport back to the Gremory estate.

Scene Change to the Khaos Brigade Head Quarters

Three people were sitting in a room in silence waiting for their leader to return. A man with ten jet-black wings slam his hands on the shattering it completely, "what the fuck is going on where is Ophis?

Answer me Shalba I have been trying to meet Ophis so I could attain more power but anytime I come to this shit hole Ophis isn't here so where the hell is she at?"

Shalba Flares his aura in annoyance at the fact that Kokabel had the audacity to demand anything of him, "who hell do you think you are talking to I should kill you where you stand ."

Kokabel smashes the table summoning a light spear in his hand with a sinister grin on his face, "I wouldn't mind playing with you for a while that would definitely alleviate some of the boredom."

But before things could escalate any further Katerea steps between both of them with her hands extended to both of them, "fighting amongst ourselves will get us nowhere. Kokabel I think it's best you leave and we will look for Ophis but if she doesn't show you may have to carry out your plans without her power.

As for you Shalba you need to calm down you know Kokabel is just trying to start a fight with you and if the both of you fight we won't have a headquarters anymore."

Shalba turns his head and scoffs in annoyance, "whatever I have better things to do," Katerea then turns her attention back to Kokbeal as Shalba walks out the muttering curses under his breath, "fine I'll leave, and if don't hear from you guys in a few days I will start carrying out my plan."

Katerea nods and Kokbeal teleports out the room, she sighs and walks out of the room to go find Vali since he would probably be the best person to figure out where Ophis is.

Like usual Katerea found Vali in the training area like usual but unlike usual he was alone working on his devil power instead of working on his sacred gear. Katerea walks into the room getting his attention as she opened the door.

"Vali I need to know where Ophis is and don't you dare lie to me." Vali turns his attention to Katerea raising his eyebrow in annoyance, "and what makes you think I know where she is?"

"Don't test me Vali I know that she spends more time with your group than any other. Now answer me, boy, where is she." Vali was getting ticked off and wanted to leave this conversation as soon as possible but in his defense, he honestly didn't know where Ophis was although he did have an idea. The thing is he had no intention of telling Katerea where he suspected where she could be, "you can bark all you want Katerea but that won't change the fact that I don't know where she is."

Katerra's eyes narrowed, "and why should I believe what you said?" Vali crosses his arms while glaring at Katerea, "you can believe what you want it really doesn't matter to me but why do you care so much she leaves all the time without telling anyone so why the sudden interest."

Katerea turns to leave, "that is none of your concern," Katerea then leaves Vali to his thoughts in the training room.

"They are getting more aggressive with trying to find her location. I have a feeling she is with Anos Gremory but as to why she is so interested with I do not know, but he must be strong if she is watching him so closely. I can't wait until I see you Anos and until then I'm gonna continue to train for our fight and you better not disappoint me. Then once I defeat you my next opponent will be my rival."
