"So, Maria why did you need to see me," asked Ren.
"I need to tell you what your manager would not tell you. You are aware that your filming of Assassins Oath was cancelled due to an accident on set."
"Yes, I am aware of that Yashiro told me."
"Yes, but he didn't tell you is that your co-star Kyoko was injured on set because of he who shall not be mentioned. Uncle felt that if you knew she was injured you would have cut short your obligations in the states and come straight home," said Maria.
"So, this is why you wanted to meet me here at LME rather than at home so I could have it out with uncle."
Maria replied "yeah something like that. Though I don't think uncle knows how you truly feel about Kyoko. He still hopes that you will eventually marry our cousin Airi."
Ren told his sister that he would not have it out with uncle for these things happens but he was concerned about how Kyoko was fairing so he would talk to his uncle but he also told his sister that he had no interest in marrying their cousin.
So as Ren went to his uncle office the eldest Takara sisters returned to their estate.
"I'm so glad you are home Kanae I missed you."
"Me too, so it seems our cousin Kajima has sent us invitations to his and Itsumi's wedding how exciting."
"I actually didn't receive and invitation because Itsumi has asked me to be her maid of honor since she has no siblings," said Kyoko.
Kanae replied "that's wonderful news but are you sure you are up to it."
Kyoko told her that she was and was already assisting Itsumi and her family with plans for the wedding which was to take place in two months' time. Which was good for Kyoko would be fully recovered by that time.
Meanwhile back at LME
"Why did you not tell me that Kyoko got injured by Fuwa Sho while I was away. I had to find out from my sister uncle," said an upset Ren.
Lory replied, "I wanted you to focus on your job while in the states and not worry about what was happening here. I will let you know that Fuwa Sho has started serving time for his actions that day on set and I have heard that Kyoko is back only doing light duties which is mostly her modelling contracts while she still recovers."
"Well that's good to known but I would have liked to have been informed while I was still in the states. I also heard a rumor that two of LME's stars are getting married."
"Yes, to answer your question Ren those who are getting married is none other than Hidehito Kijima to one Momose Istumi. I believe Kyoko will be part of the wedding party, but I am not too sure on that detail."
As the next two months passed both Ren and Kyoko continued their respective jobs without crossing pathways to often however Kyoko and her sisters were starting to worry about Mimori for she was acting strangely than she normally did.
Mimori did not want to worry not only her parents but sisters as well. She knew that eventually the truth would come out, but she had to go see someone central to her current predicament. She really had no choice and she figured while the rest of the family was pre-occupied with other things this would be her only chance. She knew her sister would be busy with the wedding of their cousin and dear friend, she was also aware that her parents were still busy with the restaurant so they would not notice what Mimori was up to until it was too late.
The Wedding
"Itsumi you look beautiful," said Kyoko.
"I am so nervous, I don't know if I can do this," replied Itsumi.
"You can do this besides my cousin is crazy about you. As soon as you see him standing at the altar everything else will not matter except him and you and the love you have for each other."
"Thanks Kyoko, you always know what to say and I am so glad will be family after this day."
"Hey, I already considered you family long before my cousin realised, he liked you. So, let's go and get you two wed," said Kyoko.
The ceremony was simple and those gathered to celebrate the happy couple were ecstatic to witness true love. As the celebrations continued Kyoko received a note that had come from her sister Mimori's manager.
Kyoko went to find a quiet place to read the note, what she did not realize is that Ren had followed her.
Kyoko opened the note and started to cry.
"Kyoko what's wrong," asked Ren.
"My youngest sister is pregnant, and the father is none other than Fuwa Sho. She has gone to tell him and then she wants to leave the country so she can have the baby safely and then eventually give the baby up for adoption," replied Kyoko.
"I have to go and get my sisters we need to leave and let our parents know."
Ren just let her go with letting her know that he would be there for her if she needed anything.
The Takara Estate
"I don't understand why Mimori would not tell us what was going on with her," said Hachirou.
"Dad I talked to her manager and her manager told me that Mimori figured that with most of us hating Fuwa Sho for what he did to me and those select few that knew what he did to my best friend Athena. She did not want to put us through more pain," replied Kyoko.
However, the Takara's were trying their best to track down Mimori to stop her from going through her plan. Kyoko's parents even contacted the Hizuri's to tell them what was going on. They had flown out as soon as they heard to assist in finding their niece but could not find her to no avail.
Ren knew that the Takara's were at their wits end trying to find Mimor,i but he had managed to track her down before she could leave the country.
"Mimori, please be reasonable your family is worried and so is Fuwa Sho if you can believe it."
"Why would he be worried about me he and were both so drunk the night he got me pregnant. He wouldn't even look at me when I told him after I visited him in prison."
"He was in shock, Mimori anyone would be especially if they found out that the girl who claimed to have loved him was carrying his child. He wants to do the right thing and marry you."
Mimori was taken aback what Ren had told her. "He really wants to marry me," she asked.
Ren told her that when he visited Sho that he saw a change in him and that yes Sho was sincere even if it meant that he would be linked to the Takara family through marriage he did not want Mimori to give up the child so she would not cause her family pain. Sho had an older half-sister that Mimori could stay with until it was safe for her and Sho to be wed and after they were wed Mimori would continue to stay with Sho's older half-sister till the baby was born than they would take steps from there.
Ren told Mimori that Aki Shoko was Sho's older half-sister and she was happy to have Mimori stay with her.
Mimori agreed and everything was put in motion.
Three weeks Later
"Ren why are you here at my apartment," asked Kyoko
"Can I come in; I wish to discuss something of a sensitive nature with you."
Kyoko agreed and motioned him in. "So, what is the sensitive topic you wish to discuss."
"It concerns your sister Mimori."
"Oh, we received word that she has married Fuwa Sho and that she will be living with his half-sister till the baby is born."
"Good, what I need to tell you is that I was there when Sho and Mimori married. And I have told Yashiro that I knew that your sister Kanae was in LA when we were over there as well."
"Why would you do that?"
"I am in love with you have been for quite some time, I want to marry you."
"I can't believe this you love me and want to marry me. I can't accept this is just too much please leave, even if you were the last person on earth you would be the last man, I could prevail upon to marry."
Ren was so taken aback that he left her apartment. As soon as he was gone Kyoko broke down crying.
It had been over four months since the confession in Kyoko's apartment. Ren tried to talk to her after that incident, but she refused him at every turn. Kyoko focused more so on her work. She had modelling contracts that had taken her out of Japan. She had been in Paris for two of the months after said confession. Kyoko kept in touch with her family. She even contacted Mimori and was able to see her after she came back from Paris. Kyoko was happy to know that Yashiro-san had actually proposed to Kanae and Kanae gladly accepted. Kyoko was happy for her sister. Though it was hard for Kyoko to be at LME when she knew Ren would be in the building. Ren however was not so fortunate with his work to keep him busy during that time. He was not so lucky to have any of his jobs anywhere near Kyo ko though he begged his manager to at least try. Though he was still looking forward to working with her during the collaboration of Rmandy and Julie Hizuri's Immortal butterfly collection.
Kyoko was looking forward to this collaboration with Rmandy even if it meant working with Ren. She just wanted to her aunt proud. She was excited that she was going to do the collaboration shoot in London England. Even if it meant working with Ren. She had already been told by her manager that they would be flying to London within two days in preparation for the shoot.
"Ren just wanted to let you know that the collaboration shoot is going to be done in London. We will be leaving in three days," says Yukihito.
"What about Kyoko and her manager when will they be leaving for London?" asked Ren.
Yukihito replied, "they will leave the day before we leave."
Ren replied, "I hoped we would be flying to London together as I wanted to talk to Kyoko."
Yashiro san told him is would not be possible as the plane tickets had already been purchased and procured.
So, two days later Kyoko left Toyoko with her manager heading towards Heathrow Airport where they would be greeted by her aunt Julie as Kyoko would be staying with her aunt at their London home while they were there for the collaboration shoot.
"It's so good to see you Kyoko it's been awhile," said Julie as she hugged her niece after the departed the plane.
Kyoko told her aunt that she was looking forward to this collaboration and could not wait to get started.
As Kyoko along with her aunt and manager talked about the collaboration through the airport and eventually the car that would take them to the Hizuri home in Mayfair.
While in Toyoko Ren had been called to his uncle's office.
"Uncle, Yukihito said you wanted to talk to me."
"Ren, I know how you feel about one Kyoko Takara. Do not even try to deny it your face is basically an open book whenever you are around her. I also know that you proposed to her and she turned you down."
"It does not surprise me that you know of my feelings for her and my proposal to her. So, what is the real reason you called me here. I heard from Kouki that Kyoko has visited her youngest sister who had to marry the man who attempted to kill Kyoko."
"Well it is good my other nephew knows when to be discreet about certain topics. Well yes, it is true that Kyoko had visited her sister Mimori who is presently staying with one Sho Fuwa's half sister Aki Shoko. After that meeting Kyoko came to meet me at my request. And I found out something very interesting after questioning her about your proposal. She responded quite vehemently that she was not and would never be engaged to you. Make's me wonder how she truly feels about you that she would deny what I have already suspected. Ren, she loves you as much as you love her. So, when you head to London tomorrow your sister will go with you. I think her and Kyoko will get along very well. And try again with Kyoko."
Ren was taken aback by what his uncle had said. So, he asked "Why does Maria have to go with me to London. I thought it would just be a photo shoot with me and Kyoko representing Rmandy and Julie Hizuri's immortal butterfly collection."
"it will be a music video instead and both Julie and Rmandy have agreed that your sister Maria is exactly what they need for this collaboration to be a success."
"Why would you believe that Kyoko would be love with me, after you asked her about the proposal."
"if she was not in love with you, she would not have denied that she would be engaged to you," replied Lory.
Ren replied "I do not believe what you say is true however I will let Maria know that we will be heading to London. Uncle please stop interfering with my love life it is getting to extreme." And with that Ren left his uncle's office.
Lory smiled to himself as his talented nephew left his office, he said to his aide Sebastian "that boy is definitely in love with Kyoko Takara and she is in love with him and has been since they first played the heel siblings and it became more so the second time they played the heel siblings. I can't wait for their return from London."
Ren went home and told his sister they would be travelling to London together.
"I already know brother about the trip to London so don't worry I am almost finished packing. I am really looking forward to meeting Kyoko as well."
As the Tsuruga siblings went about their routine before going to sleep so they would be well rested for the flight to London. Kyoko was confiding in her aunt.
"Auntie did you know Tsuruga Ren when he grew up in America."
"Of course, I know of Tsuruga Ren and his younger sister Maria. He practically raised her when his parents died when he was eighteen. He refused to have other relatives look after her. Why do you ask."
"I have been working with him a bit more in recent years since he moved to Japan and about four months ago, he proposed to me, but I turned him down. Then when I went to see Mimori after we found out she had married. I had to meet with President Takarada, and he interrogated me about the engagement to Ren, I told him however he had nothing to fear about me marrying Ren. I feel I must tell someone about my feelings for Ren."
"What do you feel for Ren, sweety I promise this will stay just between us, but you know your uncle may ask me about it when he comes.":
"It's okay you can tell uncle, but I know I am in love with Tsuruga Ren and have been since we first played the heel siblings. I think the president knows my feelings I just do not know how to not act in love around Ren when we work. I'm worried that my feelings should be revealed while doing this collaboration."
Julie calmly told her niece that everything would work itself out and no matter how things go between her and Ren. She knows that Kyoko would act professionally during the collaboration.
"I also forgot to mention that Kanae and Yukihito have secretly wed with me as their only witness just a week before I knew I had to fly here to London.," said Kyoko to her aunt.
"How did those two manage to do so without Lory and Ren finding out," asked Julie.
Kyoko told her that Chiori helped by distracting Ren with some help with a role she was preparing for, the president heard about it and decided to help as well.
"Don't worry aunty both Kanae and Yukihito Yashiro had mom and dad's blessing before they had the ceremony."
"Well I am glad because you told me because I know how your parents worry when it comes to you girls. Now its time we get some rest tomorrow we have to get you fitted for the dresses I designed for this collaboration."
As Kyoko and her aunt retired for the night, Kyoko's manager Yuri had already retired for the night due to jet lag.
Ren was waking up and getting ready for both him and his sister to leave their apartment and head to Yukihitos' apartment to pick him up before heading to the airport to leave Toyoko and head to London.
