As Ren returned to his apartment, he thought about everything Kyoko told him, he knew he would have to talk to his uncle Lory in regard to what Kyoko told him. As he entered the apartment, he noticed that Maria was still up and had not gone to bed. "Why are you still up, I thought you had to be up early tomorrow for recording your music. "
"I was worried about you since you didn't let me know where you were. I had some takeout, so where were you?" asked Maria.
"I just came from Kyoko's place, she texted earlier today saying she wanted to meet up. So that's where I was at her place, and she explained to me her history with Fuwa Sho who is now married to her youngest sister Mimori."
"Wait the same Fuwa Sho who had tried to trick me into marrying him for our family money, that Fuwa Sho."
"One and the same, however since he tried to kill Kyoko on my last project with director Konoe. He is now serving time in prison."
"Wow, Kyoko had a past with him, I wonder what happened," inquired Maria.
"Yeah, it was not a good one, you should go and get some rest. I think I'll do the same we both have to be up early tomorrow."
So, the Tsuruga siblings retired for the night. The next morning Maria tried to get her brother to open up about what he and Kyoko talked about the night before. He refused to tell her about the specifics of Kyoko's past with one Fuwa Sho because it was just between those two. He did, however, tell his sister that Kyoko admitted to loving Ren for some time. Maria was so excited about that she admitted to her brother that she had known Kyoko cared for him but not the whole extent of Kyoko's love for Ren.
When both Tsurugas entered LME Ren was greeted by his manger and Yashiro stated they had a meeting with the president. Ren said he would see his sister later and followed Yashiro to President Lory's office.
As Ren and his manger entered his uncle's office, he noticed that someone else was there as well. It was the one person who always seemed to be on Ren's mind apart from when he focused on work. Kyoko was also in the President's office along with her manager.
"I have asked you both here today because I would like to congratulate the both of you on an excellent job well done for the MV's not only for Kyoko's songs but also for Rmandy's collection and Julie Hizuri's immortal butterfly collection. Also, I understand that Kyoko has something important to ask of you Ren."
"Ren as you know I wrote those songs for the collaboration but only sang one of the songs. Another reason why I did not leave London when you and everyone else did is because I was recording another song for my album. I have been asked by my producers and band to go on tour worldwide, this would be my second tour but my usual duet partner cannot join me on tour so I was wondering if you would like to join me."
"Why would you ask me to be your duet partner?" asked Ren.
Kyoko replied, "when we were in London your sister mentioned to me that you sing very well, and she also mentioned that you are a big fan of my music even before the both of you moved here to Tokyo after living in Los Angeles for so long."
"Uncle what do you think of this?" asked Ren
Lory replied, "I think it's and excellent idea after all Ren you do sing amazingly well, and I also know you are a big fan of Kyoko's music even before you found out she was the singer/songwriter behind the songs of the latest collaboration with you being the head male model representing Rmandy and Kyoko being the lead female model for her aunt's collection. Though Kyoko to my understanding your last duet partner had to pass a test with your father."
"That is true, Aries did have to pass a test when he met my father. I'm sorry Ren but you may have to pass the same test before my father would accept you joining me on tour."
"What kind of test would I have to go through?" asked Ren.
Kyoko replied, "I will not be present during the test so I cannot help, and I believe Aries cannot help you either. I believe he is busy with his band Vie Ghoul, and they will be heading to New York soon to work on an album."
"When do you have to leave for the tour?" inquired Ren.
Lory responded, "it seems you are interested Ren I will have to let your manager know because I believe the tour will be starting very soon."
"Yes, the president is right Ren if you are truly interested in joining me on tour Yukihito should be present so we can work out all the details. I should also let my manager know as well," said Kyoko.
Ren agreed with his uncle and Kyoko, so Lory told his secretary to contact both Ren and Kyoko's managers. Shortly after that call both Yukihito and Yuri came into the Lory's office.
"President why did you send for me and Yuri?" asked Yashiro Yukihito.
The president told him that they were both requested to come in regard to a new job for Ren that involved Kyoko.
"I believe this would have to do with Kyoko's tour that she will be leaving for in two days starting in London, England. I am correct President?" asked Yuri Kasumi.
Lory responded that yes it did indeed have to do with Kyoko's tour.
"Why does it have to involve Ren though," asked Yashiro.
Ren replied, "Kyoko asked me personally if I would be her duet partner as her previous duet partner will not be able to join her on tour as he has a previous work commitment."
"So, this means that I would have to rearrange Ren's schedule of current projects, so he would be able to go with Kyoko," inquired Yashiro.
"Yes, that is precisely why you and Yuri are here so we can sort out everything for both stars here so they can focus on the upcoming tour and not worry about other work commitments here in Tokyo," said Lory.
As the managers and stars went through their schedules with the president, they managed to sort out the schedules for both stars to make it work so Ren would join Kyoko on tour. Kyoko would introduce Ren to her father after the meeting so he could do the test. The meeting finished so the stars had to leave while the managers left to head to their homes.
As Ren and Kyoko headed toward the parking garage Yukihito caught up with them to also head to his car. As the three entered the parking garage Yukihito saw his girl waiting for him at his car. He went up to Kanae and kissed her before both of them got into his car and drove to their home.
"Why is Kanae going home with Yashiro?" asked Ren.
Kyoko replied, "I know you told Yashiro to follow his heart after I chewed you out, so you probably didn't know shortly after my cousin's wedding and after what happened with Mimori and Fuwa. Yashiro married Kanae in a small ceremony with me and Aries as their witnesses, about two months after your confession to me at my apartment."
"So, when I went to pick up Yashiro before we left to head to London he was already married to your sister. And he didn't bother to tell me," grumbled Ren as they were in his car and driving towards Kyoko's family restaurant.
"Kanae told me that the reason your manager didn't tell you was because he saw how mopey you were after that night in my apartment and how you were having trouble coping not being able to see me and even when you did see me, you would always look at me with yearning."
"I guess I did deserve that but still he should have at least told me before we headed to London so I wouldn't have been blindsided like I was today."
"I understand that he should have told but maybe he had his reasons, oh turn here," said Kyoko.
Ren pulled into a lot in front of a Daruyuma and both him and Kyoko got out of his car and entered the Daruyuma.
"Oh, darling Kyoko you didn't' tell me you would be stopping by tonight" said the Okami.
"Mother I know I should have called however there is a matter of urgency. As you know I am about to go on tour again and you know Aries cannot join me on tour Ren as graciously accepted to take Aries place, but you know how dad is. So that's why Ren and I are here."
Asuka Takara greeted Ren and agreed with her daughter. "Ren if you would follow me, I will introduce you to my husband Hachirou Takara and yes he will test to see if your worthy of our daughter."
Ren followed Kyoko's mother to the kitchen where Kyoko's father was hard at work. "Hachirou, this is Ren Tsuruga he will be going with Kyoko on her world tour, since Aries cannot."
"Pleased to me you sir I am willing to be tested as you see fit," said Ren.
As Kyoko's mother returned to the front of the restaurant to continue her work, Kyoko joined her since she had to wait for Ren anyways, she knew her mother wouldn't mind her helping out.
While in the kitchen Hachirou had Ren sit down at the chefs table, "I understand that you care for my daughter Kyoko. Our oldest told me that you had proposed to Kyoko about four months ago and she turned you down."
"Yes, that is true sir I did propose to your daughter Kyoko, but I guess I should have come to you and your wife to tell you my intentions before I had done what I did. However, your daughter Kyoko turned my down and she had every right to do so. I need to let you know that I think I have always been in love with Kyoko since I worked with her on Dark Moon. I just didn't have the courage to act on my feelings until I proposed to her four months ago," said Ren.
"I understand and I admire you for coming now and telling me your feelings, thought both me and Asuka have always known how you felt about Kyoko. When we see you two together when we have secretly visited her on set, and you were also there as well we saw the way you interacted with her and the other female co-stars. We knew you care for our Kyoko very much so I have to ask if you were to propose again do you think you would be successful."
Ren told Hachirou that if he indeed tried to propose to Kyoko again the outcome would be more hopeful of being successful than the first time.
"Good, let us know when you choose a date for the wedding. I know my daughter she would never give up on someone she truly loves. And I see that she truly loves you and I believe she has told you her feelings and also her history with Fuwa. Good luck on the tour."
"Thank you, sir, and yes Kyoko has told me what happened with Fuwa and her feelings. I promise I will let you know if and when we choose a date for such an event." As Ren finished talking to Kyoko's father, he returned to the front of the restaurant to take Kyoko to her apartment.
As Kyoko said goodbye to her parents, she told them she would keep them updated with how things would be on the tour.
"So, how was it being tested by my father?" asked Kyoko as her and Ren returned to his car.
Once they were both in the car he replied, "it went surprisingly well, apparently your older sister Kanae told them about my proposal to you four months ago, and that he knew about my feelings for you when they used to surprise you on set."
"Yeah, I loved those surprise visits and I understand why they would watch how you would interact with me differently than our other female co-stars. I bet he asked you if you were to try and propose to me again if it would be successful."
"Yeah, your dad mentioned something to that effect, I am really looking forward to going on tour with you. So, I have to ask why Aries is your usual duet partner.?"
"Well, Aries and I can harmonize well, and I have tried working with other artists and most other male artists just harmonize well with me. When you and I get to London we will do a test run with one of my duet songs to see if you will harmonize well with me. I don't think we will have that problem, but my band and the producers may not agree about us harmonizing well."
"I understand and have no problem with us doing a dry run. Besides I am just happy to spend some quality time with you with out others interfering if you know what I mean."
"Yeah, I agree, it will be a lot different then when we played the heel siblings. I think your uncle made it so either one of us or both would confess their feelings to each other. He seemed disappointed when after we were done nothing came of our time together."
"Yeah, my uncle is big on love, though I thought he would want me to marry his daughter, but I guess he changed his mind about that when he saw how I acted around you."
They continued to talk about their work and what they would be doing while on tour, when they arrived at the parking garage of where Kyoko's apartment resided. "You can pull into the garage here and stay here if you want to," said Kyoko.
"I would have to let maria know that I won't be home tonight. Yes, I would love to stay." So as Ren parked in Kyoko's assigned spot and they both exited Ren's car and headed towards the elevator that would take them up to Kyoko's floor.
As they entered Kyoko's apartment Ren followed Kyoko to her kitchen where she prepared dinner for the both of them. Ren watched her as she prepared their meal, he was fascinated with how efficient she was in the kitchen. "I am amazed at how well you are in the kitchen; in London you didn't seem to use the kitchen at all."
"The reason I did not use the kitchen at the Mayfair house in London is because I trust the kitchen staff there. Whereas here and sometimes at my parent's place of business I love cooking and when I spend time in LA with my aunt and uncle who you have met my uncle and I do most of the cooking at their home as my aunt does not cook very well," replied Kyoko.
As Kyoko finished making dinner, she asked Ren to help her set the table in her dinning room so they could eat their dinner and continue talking. Ren graciously helped her with setting the table and they both sat down to enjoy the meal that she prepared. "You mentioned the kitchen staff at the house in London that you trusted them, why is that" asked Ren.
"That is because I chose them personally along with the help of my uncle Kuu. You see that home in London legally belongs to me, but I let my uncle and aunt use the house whenever they are in London. I meant to tell you before I just never found the time."
"You own that house in Mayfair, I thought it belonged to your aunt and uncle. Does Maria know that you are the owner of the London house."
"Yes, Maria knows I told her when we were talking the night before you had to return home. Your uncle does not even know that I own the house in London because my uncle Kuu made it so when the house was originally bought, I was not old enough and of legal age to own property in London however my uncle and aunt were. So, they became my legal guardians for when the house was bought, they acted as caretakers of the house until I was old enough to legally own the house. Which happened when I legally turned 21."
"So that happened last Christmas, that is your birthday, right?" asked Ren.
Kyoko told him that he was correct about her birthday, and that they should clean up. So, Ren and Kyoko finished their meal and returned to the kitchen to wash the dishes and dried them before putting them away. They retired to the living room to continue their talking about anything and everything. Before long Ren and Kyoko stopped talking and started kissing, soon the kissing became more passionate. "If we keep doing this Kyoko, we won't get any sleep."
"Then let's go to bed Ren," said Kyoko then she kissed him passionately. Kyoko mentioned to Ren that she had extra pajamas for him in the guest room. "My uncle is about the same size as you, him and my aunt Julie have often stayed here when they didn't want to stay elsewhere."
"Kyoko, thank you that would be greatly appreciated, if you can show me where the pajamas so I can change."
Kyoko showed Ren were the pajamas were stored and led him to the guest room where he could change. As Ren changed in the guest room Kyoko did the same in hers and then climbed into her bed. Soon both Ren and Kyoko both fell asleep in their own beds but around 3:00 a.m. in the morning Ren had heard a noise coming from Kyoko's room.
She knew she was dreaming but it still felt real, she was at the club in Hokkaido but this time she was there with Ren. They were dancing the night away when she started to feel tired, she told Ren that they should leave and maybe head back to their hotel. As they were driving back to their hotel and were stopped at an intersection just before their hotel and as the light turned green and the car moved through the intersection, she saw something com towards when she cried out Ren. Then suddenly she woke up panting
Ren wasted no time barging into her room when he heard scream out. "Kyoko what's wrong"
"I just had a nightmare about us it seemed so real, but I knew it wasn't real."
"It's okay, I understand I still have nightmares about my best friend who was killed in a car accident trying to save me from trying to hurt Fuwa Sho after he tried to invite my sister to a party where he was hoping to get her to consent to marry him and of course you remember from my letter how that turned out for my friend."
"Yes, I remember it's just this nightmare was about the two of us being in hit by an oncoming car I cried out the n woke up, so I don't know how it would have ended."
Ren comforted her, "hey it was just a dream I know your scared that something could happen to me and your scared to lose me does that sound about right."
Kyoko replied "yes you hit the nail right on the head. I am scared because I love you so much."
Ren could only hug Kyoko as they both sat close on her bed, Kyoko continues to lean closer until she leans up and kissed Ren. He was at first taken aback at first then he kissed her back with passion. They continued to kiss like they had earlier that night. Instead of stopping their passionate kissing they continued and as they did so she started u buttoning his pajama shirt. "Kyoko are you sure you want to continue this, it means there's no going back once we continue," said Ren who had broken their kiss in order to ask the question.
Kyoko replied, "I love you Ren and I want to do this, were you serious four months ago when you proposed to me that you wanted to marry me. You even got my parents blessing just as along as we let them know."
Ren told her yes, he was still serious about marrying her. So, he kissed her, and they continued to undo each other's clothes to the point they were both naked in her bed. They explored each other's bodies till they each had each other panting with want and need. Ren had asked her if they should continue her reply was to kiss him and bring herself closer to his body. So, Ren brought his member close to her apex and entered her with one thrust and broke her maiden head. They made passionate sweet love to each other till they were both sated.
"I can't believe how lucky I am that you saved yourself. I would have assumed you had already lost your virtue long ago," said Ren.
"Ren my parents had instilled in not just myself but sisters that we stay chaste until we found someone who would cherish us. All of my sister's minus Mimori have adhered to our parents' advice. So, Yashiro-san did not have to fear about my sister being with someone else before they wed. And now you know that I have only been waiting for you to make me yours and only yours. I blame your uncle for forcing me to face my feelings for you when we were the heel siblings though I have probably been in love with you since we worked together on dark moon and you asked for my help with finding your Katsuki," replied Kyoko.
"I believe we both started to fall for each other at the same time. I am so happy that you adhered to your parent's advice but so happy that you saved yourself for myself. So, now where do we go from here."
"Well, we could secretly wed before leaving for London with maybe my parents and aunt and uncle in attendance and your sister, Yashiro and Kanae if you like. Or if you want, we can marry in London or wait till I have to perform in America. I do not want to be away from you any longer we have already wasted enough time already."
"I agree with you that we have wasted enough time. I think we should marry here before we leave for London, I am okay with having my sister and your aunt and uncle and parents, but I don't want to involve my manager because he would totally fan girl for the fact that I am in love and marrying you the girl I have been in love with since we worked together on Dark moon. Are you okay with telling your sister Kanae and my manager after we are married?"
"I am okay with telling your manager and my sister our news after the wedding. We need to do this before your uncle finds out so I should call my aunt in the morning and let her know of the plan. She can come up with a plan to keep your uncle distracted."
Ren agreed with Kyoko about distracting his uncle, they continued to discuss wedding plans till they both fell asleep lovingly in each others' arms. When morning eventually came, and the lovebirds woke up. As agreed, Kyoko phone her aunt and explained to her everything, her aunt agreed to help distract Lory Takarada but to also help with planning Kyoko and Ren's wedding. And as the couple had a short time before leaving for London, they had work fast and it was good they had the help of one Julie Hizuri.
As Ren and Kyoko still had commitments to complete before they flew to London in a week time, they greatly appreciated Kyoko's aunts help. Ren had to rehearse singing with Kyoko for the tour to make sure he not only knew the songs he would be duetting with her but also to make sure he could harmonize well with Kyoko. Those rehearsals went well, for Kyoko tour manager was very impressed with How well Kyoko and Ren worked together and harmonizing. So, between photo shoots, tour rehearsals Kyoko and Ren managed to finish the preparations for the simple religious ceremony without the President of LME ever finding out.
It was two days before Ren and Kyoko were to depart to London for the beginning of her tour and it was their wedding day. Kyoko was getting ready at her aunt's apartment along with her mother and aunt as well as Maria, while her uncle and father were getting ready at Ren's place. They ladies were to meet the men at St. Luke's Chapel. When the ladies arrived, Julie went to join her husband while Asuka stayed with her daughter and soon to be daughter in-law Maria. When Julie joined her husband that was Hachirou' cue to leave Ren's side to escort his lovely daughter down to someone who absolutely loved his daughter for who she is and more. Ren was nervous when he noticed his father-in-law head to the back of the church to escort his beloved. He first saw his wonderful little sister come down the aisle in an aline gown that fit her perfectly and it was in her favourite shade of pink. Then the wedding march music started Ren saw his beloved with her father. Kyoko wore a princess style wedding gown were the top was a fitted bodice with jewelled beading on the bodice which then flowed into a full tulle skirt, she was handed to over to Ren after her father kissed her cheek. They stood in front of the priest and were married like they had discussed once the ceremony was over the newlyweds decided to head to Kyoko's apartment to spend some alone time together before they departed for London. The newlyweds enjoyed their wedding night so much, they decided to extend it until they left for London.
Two days after the wedding the young newlyweds would board their plane that would take them to London. As the flight for London took off, the Hizuri's were in a meeting with one eccentric president of LME.
"I understand you two called this meeting, to what do I owe the pleasure," asked Lory.
Julie responded "we called this meeting to inform you that your nephew and our niece Kyoko are now married and did so two days ago. They wanted to do so because they know how overboard you can get when planning certain events. Kyoko and Ren have also informed his manager and her sister the Yashiro's that they were married as well."
"I am surprised that both of you went along with their plan, or did they come to both of you and ask for you help?" said Lory.
Kuu replied "of course they came to us for help, it was Julie who has been distracting you for the past two weeks while they have been doing what they needed to do before heading off to London for the beginning of Kyoko's tour. Those who were at the wedding were decided by both Ren and Kyoko themselves. They both know how you tend to operate when it comes to grand gestures of love. Look you had your own nephew and my niece live together as siblings when you know perfectly well that they were in love with each other."
Lory was speechless then he told the Hizuri's that he did agree with what they said. He even told them he would no longer interfere in the name of love for his nephew and new bride. Julie and Kuu insisted he put it in writing and Lory did as requested. Lory's aide who standing as usual in the background couldn't help but snicker at what his boss and best friend got himself into, he was happy for the young couple and prayed they would last longer than other celebrity couples that he knew that Lory had meddled with.
Now as the newlyweds were enjoying their flight to London. Kyoko's sister Kanae was enjoying time with her husband in their home. "Yuki, are you upset that Ren married my sister without us being present during their nuptials." "No, my love, I understand perfectly well why my new brother in-law chose to not have us present at their wedding, he feared I would go overly fan girl on him and Kyoko finally getting together. I do believe though that is was Ren's idea to tell us about the good news after the deed was done." Kanae wholeheartedly agreed with her husband, and they enjoyed their time together before Kanae had to go to one of her acting jobs.
Days after Ren and Kyoko landed in London and were working hard performing the concerts for Kyoko's tour. News had spread fast in Tokyo about the nuptials of Tsuruga Ren and Takara Kyoko. The news of course had permission to be told by the couple once they phoned Lory that they had arrived safely and were situated in Kyoko's house in Mayfair. A month into Kyoko's tour the newlyweds left London and headed to Spain while in Japan Ren and Kyoko's fans got used to the news of them being together. Most of their fans had as most people who had worked with the couple assumed they had been together for a long while and not the short time that actually have been together. Kyoko's fans worldwide that loved her music also were happy for her and Ren. Fans that attended her concerts were pleased and in awe of how well the newlyweds performed together so well
