A/N: So two things; First off sorry about this coming out late but life just happens sometimes you know? I got really busy with my summer jobs after exams ended so this got put on the back burner a little bit but I managed to get 6,000ish words for the chapter so I'm pretty with how it turned out. Anyway as always there's bound to be some grammatical mistakes so pardon those.

More importantly though is the second thing. So secondly if you have been following this story for a bit you probably noticed something changed so let me explain. The story really didn't take the route I was hoping for originally but that's okay. I originally intended to have Willow be a bit more of an alcoholic and have Jaune help her out of that. This was the reason I chose the title "A Not So Cold Drunkard's Marriage." So after some thinking I reached out to some members of a discord I'm in for another fanfiction for some help because usually with drunken marriage fictions the title is simply ship name drunken marriage. Well Willow and Jaune is a crack ship that no one that i know of has come up with a name. Thankfully one of the other discord members helped and the New title is "A Royal Knights Drunken Marriage." Because let's be honest the Schnee's are closer to Royalty than anyone who isn't Salem.

Anyway, usually when it's someone's birthday they receive a present but today I'm going to be giving a present… IT'S A NEW CHAPTER. Enjoy, and as always thanks for the feedback and reviews!

Schnee Manor, Atlas

"So what did mother mean when she said you saved her life, Jaune was it?" Whitley asked.

"Well the bullhead we were on got shot down by the White Fang and-"

"The White Fang shot down your Bullhead?" Whitley said in disbelief before turning to Willow to continue, "Why weren't you on the SDC bullhead? No doubt those would have fared better than a public one."

"I was on my personal SDC bullhead dear." Willow replied

"But Jaune just said he was on the bullhead too. Why was he on when it was your personal bullhead?"

"Oh crap" thought the blond knight. "I never thought about that."

Luckily for Jaune, Willow was quick on her feet and came up with an answer naturally.

"He was on my bullhead because Headmaster Ozpin wanted one of his students to get some real life training and thought being a bodyguard would be an easy first job. Something I am quite thankful for." Willow said with a smile.

"Well then we are quite fortunate he was there then." Whitley said before turning back towards Jaune, "Thank you for saving my mother, Jaune."

"I just did what anyone would've done." Jaune said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Oh don't be so modest, Jaune." Winter said, speaking for the first time since they sat down. "You worked yourself to the point where you literally used up all your aura to save our mother."

"Which is why he is going to be treated like family while he is staying here." Willow said with a smile as she placed a hand on Jaune's shoulder. "Now I believe it is getting late so why don't we all retire for the night? Come on Jaune, I'll show you to your room." Willow said as she stood up.

"It was nice talking to you, Whitley. I'll see you in the morning, you too Winter." Jaune said, giving a small wave as he stood up to follow Willow.

After the pair had walked down the hall a bit Jaune decided to ask the question he had been thinking about. "Hey Willow, where am I going to be staying? Obviously a guest room because it's not like I'll be in your room right?" Jaune said with a small laugh as he awaited Willow's response.

Only she didn't respond, leading Jaune to think that's what she intended. This had the blond knight blushing hard as he tried to stammer out a response. After a few seconds though he stopped because he heard laughter, specifically Willow's laughter.

As Willow turned around to face Jaune hge could see she was covering her mouth trying to stifle her laughter. "I'm sorry Jaune it was just too funny to see your reaction, but no you're going to be staying in the guest rooms for now until we decide to tell Whitley of our circumstances." Willow said before turning back around to continue walking down the hall.

The pair continued walking before coming to a stop in front of one of the guest rooms as Willow gestured to the room's door.

"Here is where you'll be staying for now, Jaune."

"Thanks for showing me here, Willow. I'll see you in the morning." Jaune said before turning towards the door before he felt a hand on his shirt.

Turning back to Willow he was shocked when a chaste kiss was placed on his lips and the soft "good night" that followed as Willow turned and walked down the hallway.

After returning to his senses after being surprised by Willow's goodnight kiss, Jaune turned back to the door and after opening it went inside to look at where he would be staying.

After walking into the middle of the room, Jaune was amazed by the luxurious furniture scattered around the room. Deciding he would just go to bed and maybe examine more in the morning he walked over and got in bed.

After laying in bed though for a few minutes Jaune grabbed his scroll and set an alarm for early in the morning. He then put his scroll back on the nightstand beside the bed and rolled back over before drifting off to sleep.

*beep beep beep*

"Ugh" groaned the blonde knight as he rolled over and silenced his scroll.

"Guess I better get up now." Jaune said to himself as he sat up in bed and began to stretch.

After stretching a little bit Jaune made his way to the bathroom connected to the bedroom he was staying in to take a morning shower.

After a quick shower, Jaune made his way out into the hall before he made his way to the kitchen. After finding an apron he told the chefs he would like to make breakfast for Willow personally today.

Knowing the blond knight was a guest of Willow's, the chefs complied and told him where ingredients and cooking ware was located. After pulling out his scroll and playing some music on his scroll, Jaune began fishing out pots and pans before starting to cook.

After about 30 minutes of preparation and cooking Jaune was almost done making breakfast. He had made some scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and was waiting for the pancakes to cook when one of his favorite songs came on.

Naturally he began to dance to the music and about halfway through the song, Willow walked in. She had smelled the breakfast and thought it smelled a bit different today so she decided to investigate. After walking towards the kitchen she began to hear some music playing and was surprised to see Jaune standing in the kitchen wearing an apron and dancing to the music.

Waiting until the afte the song had ended, Willow walked into the kitchen clapping her hands before saying, "My, my Jaune. I didn't know you could dance."

Turning to face Willow, Jaune sheepishly scratched the back of his head before saying "Well I have seven sisters so that kind of comes with the territory of it."

"Oh my seven sisters? Sounds like you danced a lot."

"Well someone had to be their practice partner, so I got pretty good at dancing, if I do say so myself." Jaune said, taking pride in his dancing skills.

"I guess I'll need an encore then to make sure you really can back those words up." Willow said with a small smirk.

"Gladly." Jaune said, grabbing his scroll and putting on some quick tempo music before moving to pull Willow in and starting to dance.

Moving quickly through all the progressions of a basic tango he was happy to see Willow keeping up with his every step.

So, seeing as Willow was keeping up, Jaune decided to go a bit quicker. After a while this led to the two moving very quickly before eventually Jaune tipped Willow back.

"So" Jaune said in between breaths, "Still questioning if I can dance?" Before a smirk adorned his face.

"Well Jaune, I'd say you meet my expectations of a good dancer." Willow replied with a smirk of her own.

"Only a good dancer?" Jaune said as he raised an eyebrow in response.

"Fine a great dancer now let me up before we fall." Willow said with a small laugh as Jaune pulled her back up. As she tried to move away though she found his hands were still on her hips holding her there.

"One more dance Willow. I don't think I've shown you my slow dancing yet." Jaune said as he took hold of her hand in his left and began to slow dance to the music that had come on.

After a few seconds Willow settled into the beat and began to sway in tandem with Jaune to the music. As she did this a soft smile graced her lips as she leaned her head against his chest as the two slowly danced to the music in the manor's kitchen.

Unbeknownst to the two though a pair of eyes was peeking in on them from around the corner, as Whitley sat watching the duo dance. "This is one of the first times I've seen mother smile like that in quite a while." He thought to himself before quietly slipping back down the hallway to his room.

After a few minutes the music stopped and the pair separated and Jaune went back to preparing breakfast while Willow watched on with a content smile still on her face. As Jaune was finishing setting the table Winter and Whitley walked in to see the big breakfast Jaune had prepared.

Seeing their expression Jaune decided to elaborate. "I come from a family of seven sisters and two parents. Cooking big meals is second nature to me now so, I guess some habits die hard right?" He said with a small laugh before taking a seat at the table.

After everyone had finished breakfast and thanked Jaune for the good meal, Willow suggested what they had talked about the day before that Jaune and Whitley should go hang out, and go do something in town.

After some talking amongst themselves however it was eventually decided that they would all just go see a movie together. None of the Schnee's knew what was playing at the theatre as most times whenever they saw something, it was usually a play or something fancy like rather than a cinema.

Thankfully for the three of them, Jaune was there and he was dying to see the new X-Ray and Vav movie. After buying four tickets, the group split up with Jaune and Willow going to get snacks and Winter and Whitley going to get some good seats for the group.

As the duo approached the concession counter Jaune was pondering what they should order as he didn't know everyone's tastes. Thankfully for him Willow was him and she noticed the look on his face as he pondered what to get everyone.

"Jaune dear, why don't we just get the standard popcorn and a soda combo for everyone."

"Ah yeah, that's probably for the best being I don't know everyone's tastes yet."

"Give it time dear and you will learn." Willow said, putting a hand on his shoulder.

After the pair got up to the counter Willow ordered 2 medium popcorn and drinks for Winter and Whitley and a large popcorn and drink for herself and Jaune to share.

After Jaune grabbed the bags of popcorn and their drink, Willow grabbed the two drinks for Winter and Whitley. The pair then made their way down the hall to the correct theater.

After they entered the theater hall, they found Winter and Whitley seated almost in the middle of the theater.

After Willow handed the two drinks she was holding to Winter and Whitley, she took a seat next to Winter and Jaune took the seat next to her. This made the seating order Jaune, Willow, Winter, then Whitley.

The movie went off without a hitch and afterwards they all walked out with a very enthusiastic Jaune and Whitley already making plans to go and see the next movie when it gets released.

They were followed closely behind by Willow and Winter, both of whom were enjoying the sight of Jaune and Whitley going back and forth in their plan making.

"They seem to be getting on better than I had hoped." Willow said.

"Indeed mother and it would seem Whitley is looking more cheerful now too. Maybe all of us acting like a loving family can help repair the damage done by Jacques." Winter replied.

"Hey Mother, Winter? Do you two want to go ice skating? Jaune has apparently never been." Whitley said, interrupting the pair's conversation.

"That sounds like a great idea, right mother?"

"It sounds like a lovely idea. Let's tell Klein and he can drive us there. Who knows, maybe he might join us on the rink." Willow said with a small laugh.

After the four of them got back to the car, Willow instructed Klein to take them to the ice rink that was close by so they could all have some fun skating.

A short time later the car came to a stop, and Klein looked back over his shoulder before he said, "We're here everyone. Have a fun time skating."

"Won't you be joining us Klein? I know you absolutely adore ice skating." Willow said.

"As much fun as that would be Mrs. Schnee, I think I'll sit here in the car where it's warm and read my book. You all can go enjoy yourselves." Klein said as he pulled out his book and thermos of coffee.

"Enjoy your book Klein." Jaune said as he got out of the car, before he turned and offered his hand to help Willow out of the car.

"Thank you Jaune." Willow said, taking his hand and getting out of the car.

After Whitely and Winter had finished getting out of the car on their side, the group walked towards the gate to begin skating.

Walking up to the counter the group was greeted by the man sitting there. "Hello, will all four of you be skating today?"

"Yes, all four of us will be skating today." Jaune said.

"Wonderful, I'll need your shoe sizes, a payment method, and everyone to fill out this liability waiver." The man said as he put four slips of paper on the counter.

After Willow handed the man her card, and everyone gave their shoe sizes, the man returned with the properly sized skates.

"Did everyone skates fit okay? Perfect, well if you follow the arrow right over there it will lead you to the rink's entrance. Have a fun time!" The man said with a smile.

After everyone put on their skates and walked down to the entrance to the rink, Winter went onto the ice first, followed closely behind by Whitley. As the two began to skate down the rink Willow stepped onto the ice before turning around to face Jaune.

Taking a careful first step, Jaune put his left foot onto the ice first before placing his right foot there too. As he leaned more onto his own feet, he let go of the wall's edge, and he stood on his own two feet...for a few seconds before the blond knight fell onto his butt.

"Ow, this is kind of tough."

"Don't worry Jaune. Here, take my hand. I'll help you up." Willow said as she held out her hand.

"Thanks Willow." Jaune said as he got back up.

"Now do you think you can try standing on your own again or would you like me to keep sort of stabilizing you?"

"I think I can try standing on my own again." Jaune said before he promptly fell down again.

Letting out a slight giggle, Willow reached out her hand again. Except this time when Jaune took it, he pulled harder causing Willow to fall down to the ice as well.

"Haha, not so funny when the skate is on the other foot huh?" Jaune said with a smirk before letting out a laugh.

"Oh shush you." Willow said as she brought her hand up playfully shoved Jaune before she stood up. "Here, come on get up."

"Alright. It looks like I'm going to need you to teach me though." Jaune said as he grabbed her hand and pulled himself up.

Meanwhile on the other side of the rink Winter and Whitley were watching this all unfold.

"Those two get along quite well together, I'm glad they met." Winter said.

"Yeah, Jaune is bringing a much needed light into mother's life. I -" Whitley said before he stopped mid sentence and began to think.

"What are you thinking about Whitely?" Winter asked, hoping she knew where his thinking was going.

"You think we can get Jaune to stay around longer?" Whitley asked as he turned to face his elder sister.

Turning back to face Jaune and Willow once again a smile crossed Winter's face, "I don't think that's going to be hard to do."

Meanwhile back with the married couple

"Jaune, did you ever have a scooter growing up?" Willow asked.

"Um, yes. Why?" Jaune replied with a raised eyebrow.

"Alright, good. Think of skating like that. Imagine whichever foot you use is on the scooter and use the other foot to push." Willow said as she let go of Jaune's hand again.

"Ok, I can do this. Put that foot there and push. One foot there and push. Hey look, I'm going forward!" Jaune said excitedly.

"That's great, Jaune. Now try doing that with both feet. Push with the left then the right and repeat." Willow said as she skated after him.

"Ok here I go." Jaune said before taking in a breath and doing as Willow said. "Hey it's working. This is pretty fun." Jaune said before he noticed the rapidly approaching wall.

"Willow, how do I stop?" Jaune shouted before he skated into the wall or he would've if not for the glyph that appeared.

Looking to his left he saw Winter and Whitley skating up. "Thank you for stopping me, Winter." Jaune said as he sheepishly scratched the back of his head.

"You're welcome." Winter said before she skated away.

"Do learn to stop Jaune. Even with the aura you have it still might hurt quite a bit." Whitely said before skating after Winter.

"Are you alright Jaune?" Willow said as she skated over.

"Yeah, I'm alright Willow. Winter used a glyph and stopped me before I slammed into the wall."

"Guess I should've taught you how to stop a bit sooner. To be fair though I didn't think you'd take off like that. You're quite the quick learner aren't you."

"Yeah I did grasp it kind of quick didn't I?"

"Hey Jaune. How about you try to think about ice skating like dancing. Try to use movements like that."

"Hmm, alright. I'll try that too." Jaune said before pushing off again and began to go into a series of motions he did when dancing.

Deciding she should try to follow Jaune closer behind him this time, Willow skated after him only two or three steps behind him.

Slowly but surely over the course of the next hour Jaune followed Willow's advice and became a pretty good skater. After taking a few more laps Jaune skated by Willow and grabbed her hand, pulling her along and around the rink.

After a few laps around the rink Whitey and Winter linked up each taking a hand and the four kept skating before they headed towards the exit.

After getting off the ice and removing their skates, Jaune took the skates and went to return them. Winter and Whitley both decided to excuse themselves and made their way to the bathroom so that having to stop wouldn't be an issue on the way back home.

After Willow had put her shoes back on, she stood up to make her way to the counter to find Jaune. Before she could start making her way over there though a person called out for her.

"Excuse me miss. Miss with the white hair."

Turning around Willow saw a shorter heavyset man, much like Klein but with a bit more hair and no mustache, approaching her.

"Yes, how can I help you?"

"No, no I don't need any help, In fact it's quite the opposite. You see I came here with my daughter today for her first ice skating experience and well I brought my camera to capture the moment."

"Oh I get it. I'll be happy to take a picture of you with your daughter." Willow said with a smile.

"That won't be necessary as we've already done that." The man said happily. "The reason I was coming over here was that I wanted to give you this picture and the corresponding file." He said as he pulled out a picture and handed it to Willow.

Looking down at the picture Willow began to smile even more as she saw Jaune, Whitely, Winter, and herself all holding hands skating around the rink.

"Thank you sir, this is a very wonderful picture."

"You're quite welcome. I saw the beautiful sight and knew a picture would be appreciated by the family. Anyway I just scroll-dropped the file so you can have more made. Have a good day." The man said with a wave as he walked back over from the area where he came from.

After carefully putting the picture away so as to not harm it, Willow saw Winter and Whitley walking back towards her. After they both got back, the three of them started walking towards the front when Willow stopped.

Winter and Whitley bumped into the back of her, after her sudden stopping and were wondering what was wrong. Moving so they weren't behind Willow anymore they immediately saw the reason for Willow's sudden stop.

Standing at the counter was a young brunette who was not being subtle in her flirting with Jaune. The slowly getting closer, the leaning forward motion, the hand on the chest. This woman was doing it all and it was clear Jaune was beginning to become a bit uncomfortable but didn't want to cause a scene.

Willow however wasn't thinking about not causing a scene in her angered state as she marched over towards the two.

Hearing the approaching footsteps, Jaune looked to his right and his eyes lit up as he knew he was finally going to get out of this awkward situation.

The woman also heard the approaching footsteps of Willow and upon turning to see her, she glared at Willow.

Having lived through much worse Willow wasn't phased at all by the young woman's glare, she actually found it rather amusing. As she walked right up to the woman and pushed her off of him.

With a grunt the woman fell to the ground, before she got up and angrily shouted at Willow. "What the hell bitch! I saw the hunk first go find your own."

"That's exactly what I came over here to tell you, as I will not let some 2nd rate hussy try anything with my husband."

"2nd rate hussy? I have more class than you clearly and who are you trying to fool. He's clearly like 10 years younger than you. Why would he marry a hag like you when he could get a gorgeous girl closer to his age like me."

"Excuse me," Came the voice of the blond knight as he interjected into the heated exchange. "But I would recommend you not speak in such an insulting manner when talking about my wife." Jaune said as he put an arm around Willow's waist.

"You mean she wasn't lying when she said you two were married? Dammit why do the cute ones always go for the older women." The clearly upset brunette said.

"I don't know, maybe it's just because they have better looks and personality than you." Willow said with a smirk.

"Why you!" The even angrier brunette said as she tried throwing a punch at Willow. Only for Jaune's hand to get in her way and catch her fist mid-punch.

"I'd recommend NOT doing that again and leaving us alone now as next time I won't just catch your punch. No one hurts my family, understood? Good now, get going."

After the brunette turned and stormed off Willow turned so she could face Jaune easier. "Ooh, I like angry Jaune. He's kind of hot. Rawr." Willow said with a small laugh.

"Only kind of hot? Really, is that anyway to treat your knight in shining armor who just saved you from being injured?" Jaune quipped back.

"Oh thank you my knight in shining armor for saving this poor helpless damsel in distress." Willow replied with an overly sarcastic tone.

"Well done mother, that was quite entertaining." Winter said as she approached.

"Indeed you two are splendid actors. If I didn't know any better I'd think it was real." Whitley said as he offered his two cents.

"Yes well Jaune is quite the actor now isn't he. Anyway you three I believe enough of a statement was made here let us be on our way now shall we?" Willow said as she made for the building's exit.

After making their way out of the building everyone went and got in the car.

"How was your book Klein?" Jaune asked

"The book was absolutely delightful. How was the skating?" Klein responded.

"It was fun, a little too eventful at the end though." Jaune replied.

"I'll say, mother got her claws out in that last little bit." Winter said with a small laugh.

"You know I can still ground you right?" Willow responded with a small laugh of her own.

"You'll have to tell me all about it later Winter." Klein said with a chuckle as he turned around, put the car in drive, and began driving them all back home.

"Alright everyone, we are here. Everyone hop out and go get ready for dinner and I'll get the cooks to start preparing it as I know you all must be hungry from all that skating." Klein said as he got out of the car and made his way to the front door.

"Thank you Klein, that would be most helpful." Willow replied.

"Ok well if that's handled I'm going to go take a shower. Can someone let me know when dinner is ready?" Jaune asked

"Of course Jaune, I'll send someone to fetch you." Klein said.

"Thanks again Klein. See everyone in a bit." Jaune said as he started walking down the hallway towards the room he was staying in.

After he reached and opened the door to his room, he was still stunned by all the extravagance of the room despite having seen it and stayed in it last night.

"This is just a guest room too. I wonder what the other rooms look like." Jaune wondered as he began to make his way to the bathroom. A knock at the door however halted him.

"Dinner can't be ready yet, so I wonder who that could be." Jaune thought as he walked over to the door and opened it to reveal Whitely standing there.

"Hello Jaune. May I come in?"

"Um, sure Whitley. Be my guest."

"Thank you." Whitley said as he made his way over to one of the chairs in the room before taking a seat.

"So, what's up?" Jaune said as he made his way over to one of the chairs before sitting down as well.

"Well, I'll be clear with you Jaune. I'd like to apologize." Whitley said.

"Apologize? You haven't done anything wrong, what are you apologizing for?" Jaune questioned

"When we first met, I was very suspicious of you. I might not have shown it due to the teachings of our well, of Jaques, but I still harbored them all the same. I thought you were a student who got lucky and were going to try to use the act of saving my mother to pull something on her."

"I'd never do that."

"I know you wouldn't Jaune and I've seen how much happier mother is when you are around. I've noticed a lot of things; the new appearance from the aura situation obviously but more importantly, the way her smile and laugh isn't fake anymore. She's genuinely happy so for that I thank you."

A smile appeared upon the blond knight's face as he heard all this. "It's no problem at all. I come from a big family so I know how important family is so I'm happy to help." Jaune said as he paused for a second before continuing. "If that's all though I really should go get in the showe and you should go take one too. Don't want to upset Willow after all." Jane said with a laugh.

"Yes, about that, um Jaune? Can I ask you a quick question before that?" A suddenly nervous Whitley asked.

Sensing the nervousness in Whitley, Jaune knew this had to be an important question. "Sure Whitley, ask away."

"Um, how would you feel about possibly staying with our family a little longer after your assignment here is up, like say joining our family? I know you have a family so we can't adopt you or anything but I'd like it if you are around more. Everything seems happier with you here."

"Oh boy um Whitley. Sit back down for a second, I got some coming clean to do too."

Nodding his head the boy sat back down before Jaune continued.

"Your mother and I actually didn't meet when Ozpin first sent me here. In fact the whole bodyguard assignment thing is a lie too." Jaune said as he nervously scratched the back of his neck.

"Then why are you here?" Whitley asked, now very confused.

"Well Ozpin sending me here wasn't a lie itself, just the bodyguard thing was. Now as to how we met well, my teammate and I were alone from our partners as they had their girls night and well we decided to go try a new bar because the drinking age for huntsmen in training got lowered in Vale."

"Ok I think I know where this is going. You met my mother at the bar and that's why Ozpin assigned you to guard her." Whitley questioned.

"Closer but let me finish before asking any more questions." Came the blond knight's reply.

"Ok sorry. Continue please."

"Anyway yeah so I gave a pep talk to my teammate and he ran off to ask his childhood friend, who happens to be one of our other teammates out. As he ran out I yelled for him to stop but he didn't listen. I asked for a strong drink knowing the headache that might come in the morning from that and that's when Willow sat down beside me and we started talking. After a little bit, she explained what happened with Weiss and about how Weiss yelled at her when she went to inform her of Jaques' passing."

"Sounds like something Weiss would do. She's a bit more stubborn and colder than the rest of us. She doesn't think too highly of mother and was just trying to become the SDC inheritor. I know that's how I was too." Whitley said with a dejected look.

"Well anyway, we talked and I helped cheer her up and we continued drinking throughout the night….well….and I may have joined your family…" Jaune said as he gave another sheepish grin as he again nervously scratched the back of his hand.

"What do you mean, you joined our family?" Whitley asked, now slightly curious and excited at the prospect.

"Just don't freak out too much alright." Jaune said as he took off the glove on his left hand and took off his ring before handing it to Whitley.

"This is a wedding ring?"

"Yes, now try looking inside the band."

"J.A-S? What's that supposed to mean?" Whitley asked.

"Jaune Arc-Schnee. Willow and I apparently got drunkenly married that night and due to the Arc family motto being "An Arc never goes back on their word"..."

"Marriage is the exchange of vows, in other words you give your word." Whitley said, as he began to understand it all.

"The Arcs have been around for a long time and I were to break my word here I would be the first Arc to ever do so. As for your mother, Willow, she was accepting of it because being married to me prevented waves of potential suitors from trying to woo her and her children. After all, she was the richest single woman on Remnant before our drunken marriage happened, and I doubt anyone would try to marry her for anything but the money."

"Indeed, those kinds of people are hard to find, or I guess I should say hard to find unless you stumble into one at a bar." Whitley responded with an amused smirk.

"You're really taking this rather well, Whitley. I'd have thought you to be a bit more, well anything really. You either have one hell of a poker face or no emotions and I'm willing to guess it's the former." Jaune said with a slight laugh.

"Actually Jaune, I already told you my reasoning. I trust you and mother is happier when you are around. I'm happy you're in our family, however don't expect me to start calling you dad anytime soon." Whitley said as he stood up and began walking towards the door.

"I'll come back in a bit and let you know when dinner is ready if you want to hop in the shower." Whitley called over his shoulder.

"Ok, thanks Whitley." Jaune said as he started walking towards the bathroom.

"Oh and Jaune, I do have one hell of a poker face." called a laughing Whitley as he was halfway out the door.

"Guess I'll need to make a note to never play him in poker." Jaune thought with a laugh as he stepped into the shower.

After a nice hot shower Jaune got out and went through his usual post shower routine, however as he put on his shirt his scroll began to vibrate.

After reaching over and grabbing it, he saw it was his team calling him. No doubt to ask about what was going on. Knowing what to expect he prepared as best he could before answering, "Hello?"

"HI FEARLESS LEADER!"

"Hi Nora." Jaune said with a chuckle.

"Hello Jaune," said Ren.

"Hey Ren, what's up?" came Jaune's reply.

"What's up is we've been wondering where you've been, Jaune!" said an aggravated Pyrrha.

"Oh uh, hi Pyrrha. I see you're not too happy." said a now more nervous Jaune.

"Of course she's upset Jaune Jaune, she thought she'd never get to see her lo-" said Nora before her mouth was quickly covered by Pyrrha.

"What Nora was trying to say, Jaune, is that we were all concerned as you just disappeared. Ozpin said it was a mission he personally assigned you, but he didn't elaborate further so we just wanted to make sure you were okay." Ren explained.

"That makes sense, yeah. Sorry to just go like that but, Ozpin assigned this mission and had me leave right after I got it."

"Ooh ooh, is it a super secret mission? Is that why you're being all quiet about it, fearless leader?"

"Not really Nora, but I promise I'll tell you all about it when I get back to Beacon. Speaking of, what are yall up to?"

"We're on our way to meet team RWBY at the cafeteria for dinner," said Pyrrha. "Speaking of, there's them now."

"Are you guys talking to Jaune?" Asked an excited Ruby, before she saw the scroll's screen and answered her own question. "Hi Jaune."

"Hey Ruby, how have you been?" Jaune asked

"Pretty good, except for Professor Port's class today. I fell asleep like ten times."

"Wow I think that's a new record." said Jaune with a laugh.

"Hey it's not funny, especially because Weiss won't let me copy her notes." said Ruby as she looked at her partner.

"Anyway what's up vomit boy?" said Yang as she grabbed the scroll. Before Jaune could answer though Yang noticed the room Jaune was in. "Woah Jaune, sweet room. Even Ice Queen over there would find that fancy. You on some kind of bodyguarding mission for some super famous rich celebrity or something?"

"Something like that Yang." Jaune said with a small laugh. "That was my reaction too, like THIS is the guest room. I mean it's incredible."

"You bet it is. Hey Rubes, look at this room Jaune's in." Yang said as she showed the scroll to Ruby.

"Wow, that is fancy," came the reaper's reply.

It was then teams RWBY and (J)NPR heard another voice through the scroll. "Hey Jaune, can you come to the main area please we have company."

"Yeah, let's go. Sorry guys I got to go, I'll talk to you all later." Jaune said as he went to hang up.

"WAIT!" Shouted Weiss but it was already too late, Jaune had already hung up.

"Geez Weisscream, what's got you all up in arms?" Yang asked.

"That voice sounded a lot like my brother." Weiss explained, "I just wanted to ask him who it was before he hung up.

"I think you more than likely misheard Weiss. Why would Jaune even be with your younger brother anyway? Besides, he said he was doing a bodyguard mission. What use would the Schnees have when they literally have the SDC security forces?" Yang explained

"Hmm, still I swear that was my little brother's voice." Weiss said.

"Whatever. Here's your scroll back by the way Ren. Now let's all go get some food." Yang said as she began walking towards the food line after handing Ren back his scroll.

"I know my brother's voice. I will get to the bottom of this." Weiss thought as she followed Yang to the dinner line.

Meanwhile back in the Schnee Manor

"Whew, that was close. Glad I hung up fast. Anyway what's up Whitley? What's this company you speak of?" Said Jaune.

"Um, maybe you should just come see for yourself. They're in the room where we all sat after you, mother, and Winter got back." Whitley said before he went the opposite direction of the room he just stated.

"Weird, oh well guess I'll go see what's up." Thought the blond knight as he walked down the hall towards the room. Only to stop in his tracks upon entering the room. Because seated across from Willow were two very familiar people he hadn't seen in a little bit.

"MOM, DAD?" Jaune exclaimed in shock.

"Ah, there you are, son. Come on, sit down. We have a lot to discuss." Jaune's dad said as he gestured to the empty space next to Willow across from them.

After walking over and taking a seat next to Willow, Jaune did the only thing he could do at the moment, gulp.
