A/N: No it's not an April fools joke, this is a real chapter. The polls were shockingly close and I mean within 1 vote so we'll see what I decide to do in the coming chapters. This was supposed to be out around 2 whole weeks ago but alas even when on break there is work to be done. Complaints aside, I'm really enjoying this story and how it has developed. Expect to see maybe 10 or so more chapters from this. Maybe more if I can get some plot developed before then but I don't know. Thank you to those who left kind reviews. It is nice to see this story being so well received, and I truly mean that. Anyway as always feel free to review, message me with thoughts about the story, future ideas, or even just to say hi.

Chapter 10

Beacon Academy

As the sounds of a running shower and Nora stirring from her own sleep began to filter into Jaune's ears, he opened his eyes and smiled as he remembered he was back at Beacon.

He looked over towards the other beds just in time to see Ren push Nora off her bed.

"Pancakes?" She mumbled as she woke up.

"No Nora, just waking you up."

"Why'd you push me off my bed then?" Nora asked only to be answered by a raised eyebrow of Ren.

"Right yesterday. Ha, yeah my bad." Nora said with a sheepish smile before it broadened upon seeing Ren gave a smile of his own.

As Jaune sat up he heard the shower turn off, so he began gathering his stuff for his turn in the shower. A minute or two after he had finished gathering up his clothes and other stuff for the day, Pyrrha stepped out of the bathroom and he stepped in.

About a minute passed before the sound of running water was heard again and Nora turned to Pyrrha. "So you think anymore about what was said to you last night? Sharing is caring." Nora teased before taking a pillow to the face in a similar fashion to last night."

"I just don't want Jaune to be married to someone because of a drunken mistake." Pyrrha said as Nora looked at her again.

"I'm sure she's good to him. Maybe we can all meet her one day." Ren said, as he tried to quell Pyrrha's concerns, before turning to Nora. "Come on Nora, let's go get breakfast. Pyrrha can talk to Jaune privately about the message she needs to deliver as well as her concerns more without us watching over her shoulder." Ren said before walking towards the door as Nora hopped up from her bed and followed him out of the dorm.

A few minutes later Jaune appeared from the bathroom towel around his neck and looked around to see only Pyrrha sitting on her bed.

"Did Ren and Nora go get breakfast?" Jaune said as he walked over to his side of the room and grabbed his student uniform jacket.

"Yeah they did, they also did it so I could talk to you privately for a while."

Hearing this Jaune turned towards his partner and sat down on his own bed. "What's up Pyr?"

"Well the first thing I was told last night when I answered your scroll was that someone is coming to pick up Winston." Pyrrha said.

"Oh cool, wait. Where is Winston?" Jaune questioned before the duo heard from across the hall a scream of "Why are they both in here!?" from a certain bow wearing girl.

"Guess that answers that question." Jaune said with a chuckle, before a thought crossed his mind. "Wait Pyrrha, why did you answer my scroll?"

"Uh well. I guess this kind of leads into the other thing I wanted to talk about." Pyrrha said before she leaned forward and placed a hand on Jaune's shoulder. "Jaune, are you truly ok with this marriage?"

"Yes Pyrrha, and thank you for your concern, I'm okay with this. Even my parents stopped by the Schnee manor and we discussed this thoroughly as well. I might not have made a sober decision but even still, it's something I'm okay with. Plus the Arc name still has that value behind the marriage vows and I don't want to break that."

"Well what if you adopted a different last name? The Arc promise wouldn't be a thing that would be broken then right?"

"I mean I guess but A.) I don't really have any reason to break the vows and B.) What would I even take for a last name if I did?"

"You could take Nikos." Pyrrha mumbled under her breath quiet enough that she was sure Jaune couldn't hear before speaking in a louder tone. "Well as long as you are okay with everything that's what I wanted to make sure of." Pyrrha said before standing up from her own bed.

"Come on Jaune, let's go join the others for breakfast." Pyrrha said as she made her way to the door.

"Hopefully Nora hasn't eaten everything yet." Jaune said with a laugh as he followed his partner out the door.

A short walk later the duo arrived at Beacon's cafeteria to find Nora with a plate piled high with pancakes and Ren sitting beside her eating his normal breakfast. Seated across from those two were team RWBY each with a plate of their own breakfast in front of them and the Zwei and Winston off to the side at the end of the table furthest from Blake happily munching on some dog food.

"Hey everyone." Jaune said with a wave as he and Pyrrha walked towards the table.

Replies of "Hey Jaune," and "Hey fearless leader." greeted him as he and Pyrrha sat down.

"Did everyone sleep well?" Jaune asked as he began to cut into his breakfast.

"Yeah I slept well." Ruby said.

"But how did you sleep, loverboy? Were you able to sleep without being held in the arms of your wife?" Yang teased, making Jaune blush and Weiss almost do a spit take. She controlled it however and instead of a spit take it instead went down the wrong pipe leading her to a coughing fit.

"You okay Weiss?" Ruby asked, noticing her partner go into the coughing fit.

"No I am not. Yang stop it with your teasing of Jaune. I don't want to hear it." Weiss said as she sent a glare towards Yang.

"Chill Ice Queen. It's not like I asked about his sex life." Yang replied only to see a blush slowly creeping up Jaune's face, much to Weiss' horror and her own amusement.

"No way." Yang said before starting to laugh before continuing in between laughs, "That's hysterical."

Looking at the other members of the table Weiss looked like she wanted to run Jaune through with Myrtenaster, Blake looked like she was scribbling something down in her notebook, Ruby was just muttering "filth." and Pyrrha well she didn't look happy.

"Maybe it's because she thinks I was slacking off in Atlas when I was around Willow." Jaune thought to himself before Ren spoke up.

"I hate to break up the fun, well not really actually BUT, we do have class in 5 minutes and it's Dr. Oobleck's so unless you all want extra assignments for being late we best be going." Ren said as he stood up and began making his way towards the classrooms.

Panickily the others checked the time on their scrolls before taking a few last bites, or in Nora's case the entire remaining pancakes, and scarfing them down before running to catch up with their ninja-like friend.

Vale Airport

As Jaune and his friends were racing off to Dr. Oobleck's classroom; Willow, Whitley, and Klein had just landed at the Valean airport and were greeted by a bearded man in a suit.

"Hello Ms. Schnee, I'm councilman Grayson. It's a pleasure to meet you, your son, and uh I don't believe I've caught your name." Councilman Grayson said as he gestured towards Klein.

"This is one of my most trusted advisors and butlers, Klein. Please treat him with the same respect as me. Oh and Councilman Grayson, it's Mrs. Schnee actually." Willow finished with a smile.

"Oh uh, my apologies. I wasn't aware." Councilman Grayson said with a slight bow.

"It's fine, although we are trying to keep it discreet for now so your discretion in the matter is certainly appreciated. Willow is fine if you would like to use that instead."

"I assume you are here to show Mother and Klein to the facility you suggested?"

"Correct my dear boy. The building is simply perfect for the needs and requirements of a branch location." Grayson said, trying to play up the building.

"Good good. Well then I'm going to be off then." Whitley said as he started walking away only to be grabbed by his collar and pulled back.

"Where do you think you're going, young man?" Willow asked her son.

"Uh, to Beacon to get Winston?" Whitley said with a big grin as Willow just sighed.

"And how would you get there? Do you know how to get there?"

"Well I, I'd take a bullhead yeah. I had a ticket planned out and everything." Whitley said in a none too convincing tone.

"Mhm, sure. Look we're at the bullhead port so go find a bullhead to Beacon. I'm sure one is running right now. Message me when you get there so I know you're safe alright?" Willow said as she gave Whitley a hug.

"Mom." Whitley whined as Willow just laughed before releasing him from her grip. "I'll message you when I get to Beacon though." Whitley said as he walked off towards the main bullhead docks.

"He's a good kid." Councilman Grayson said before continuing. "Well come along then you two, and if this building isn't all I have hyped it up to be in your eyes there are a few other buildings that can be toured and possibly leased."

"Good well let's be off then. I presume you prepared a car in advance for us?" Willow asked the councilman.

"Of course, it's the black car right over there." Grayson said as he walked over and opened the door for Klein and Willow to get in then closed it after.

"Well this is going well enough. He seems mighty eager to kiss the SDC's butt." Klein said as he watched the councilman walk around the front of the car.

"Indeed let's see if we can get the city of Vale to throw in a few benefits for us. Maybe some tax breaks to save us money in order to bring Valean jobs." Willow said as she watched the councilman walk around as well.

"Alright then, let's be off shall we?" Grayson said as he got in the driver seat and closed the door, before starting the engine.

"Remind me where is this building located again?" Willow asked as Grayson started driving."

"It is on the eastern side of Vale proper in the commercial district. There are a few other office buildings located adjacent to it so it won't be all alone and parking is plentiful." Grayson as he turned onto the main road.

"Good good. Let's hope this building is all it's cracked up to be and we can move into the contract negotiation stage and hopefully be able to settle this matter today." Willow said as she leaned back in her seat.

As the car was driving off, Whitley had made his way to the main bullhead dock and began looking for the bullhead to Beacon.

As he was staring up at the screen that listed all the bullhead flights trying to find when the next one to Beacon was, a hand landed on his shoulder.

He turned to see a girl maybe a few years older than he was with black hair with green highlights. She was maybe a few inches taller than him and had several piercings in both ears and one in her left eyebrow. She had on clothing that his mother would describe as more fitting for Mantle's alleyways or red light districts rather than normal outerwear.

Standing behind her was another girl that appeared similar in style with bright blue colored highlights through her dark brown hair, several ear piercings, and clothing that did little to hide her body.

"Hey there cutie, looking for a good time? I know where you can find one." The girl said with a wink, causing a blush to appear on Whitley's face.

"Uh no I'm just trying to find the next bullhead to Beacon. I'm just going to see my, well a friend." Whitley corrected as he remembered Jaune and Willow wanting to keep their marriage a secret for now.

"Oh come on, I'm sure we can offer more entertainment than whatever a hussy at Beacon could." She said as her hand traveled from his shoulder to his chest.

"Uh no, I just need to go see my family so if you could leave me alone I'll just be on my way." Whitley said as he backed away some.

"Ugh this isn't working, just grab the runt Midori." The blue highlight girl behind them said.

Hearing this Whitley quickly started backing up more only he wasn't quick enough and the green hair girl, who now knew her name was Midori, grabbed him by the wrist before restraining the arm behind his back.

"Hehe too easy. Quick frisk him for everything he's got." Midori said as the blue haired girl moved to rob him.

"I'd let the kid go if I were you." Called a voice from behind the trio.

"Oh yeah and why's that?!" Yelled Midori as she and Whitley turned around to see a shaggy looking man with graying black, spiky hair. He was dressed in a gray dress shirt with a long tail, black dress pants along with a long red, tattered cloak.

"Because either you let him go," the man said as he pulled out a big sword before finishing with a smirk, "or I make you."

"Shit huntsman, run Midori!" The blue highlight girl yelled as she took off running before Midori shoved Whitley to the ground and took off after her.

"Damn hooligans." The man said as he walked up to Whitley. "Hey kid you okay? Nothing hurt or broken?" He asked as he leaned down and Whitley could now see the man's faded red eyes.

"Yeah, yeah you saved me just in time. Thank you Mr ?" Whitley said as he stood up.

"The names Qrow kid, Qrow Branwen. You can just call me Qrow though, none of that mister crap." Qrow replied.

"Well you have my thanks for the timely save Qrow." Whitley said as he brushed off some dirt from himself.

"No problem kid. What're you doing out here anyway? Shouldn't you be in school?" Qrow asked the boy.

"I'm homeschooled actually. I was on my way to see a family member that attends Beacon."

"You must be Whitley then right? Weiss' younger brother?" Qrow asked and as he saw the look of surprise on Whitley's face he explained "My niece is on your sister's team. That's how I know who you are."

"Ah, that'll do it. I take it you were on your way to Beacon to visit her then?"

"Yup, now come on kid, we can go there together. Next bullhead to Beacon is about to leave." Qrow answered as he began walking towards the bullhead that was going to take them to Beacon.

A short bullhead ride later Qrow and Whitley were getting off the bullhead when they both heard a yell of "Uncle Qrow!" and turned to see a burst of rose petals.

Qrow, knowing what was coming, quickly stepped to the side to aggravate his niece as he sometimes did, this time though he was with someone. Someone who was not as quick as he was, Ruby ended up plowing into Whitley instead knocking both of them to the ground.

"Ow, what the-" Whitley asked before cutting himself off as he stared into the prettiest pair of eyes he'd ever seen.

"Ugh I'm sorr-'' Ruby said before cutting herself off as she stared at the eyes of the boy below her.

Qrow was now done laughing at the incident and now was cursing his luck…again.

"Alright you two break it up." Qrow said as he grabbed Ruby by the hood and pulled her off of Whitley, before offering a hand to the boy to help him stand up.

"Ugh hi, I'm Whitley." Whitley said as he held out a hand, ignoring the huntsman who just helped him up.

"I'm Ruby." Ruby said as she took his hand for a handshake, all the excitement about Uncle Qrow temporarily forgotten as she looked at the boy in front of her.

"You have really pretty eyes." Whitley said bluntly causing Ruby to blush and mumble a thank you.

"Alright that's enough of that." Qrow said as he separated the two teenagers.

"Hey Ruby, have you seen a corgi around? His name is Winston and he more than likely came back with Jaune." Whitley asked.

"Yeah he should still be running around with our dog."

"Oh Oum, did Tai send you two Zwei in a packing tube again? I told him I could take care of him." Qrow said with a groan.

"No offense uncle Qrow but we all remember what happened last time you "took care of Zwei." Ruby said as she looked at her uncle.

"It was ONE time. Bah whatever, I'm gonna talk to Oz. You two behave yourselves, alright?" Qrow said as he walked off towards the tower.

"So, wanna go see Winston?" Ruby asked.

"Do you know where he's at?"

"Yeah he should still be in our room tormenting Blake." Ruby answered.

"Shouldn't you guys be in class right now?" Whitley asked the silver eyed reaper.

"WELL we should, but someone accidentally put a sleeping agent in Professor Port's drink. Darn shame."

"Why do I get the feeling that it wasn't accidental?" Whitley jokingly asked as he recalled several stories about the portly professor that Jaune had told him.

"Oh it totally wasn't but that's the story and we're sticking to it." Ruby answered with a grin before motioning Whitley to follow her.

The white haired teen doing so and during the walk there as the two were idly chatting, he sent his mom a quick message telling her he was safe so she wouldn't worry.

"Here we are." Councilman Grayson said as he put the car in park.

"Well it looks promising." Willow said while Klein just gave an affirmative hum as Grayson got out and opened the door to the backseat of the car.

"Do you have a file or something on hand with the specifications of this building? Things like offices, restrooms, overall sq footage, etc." Willow asked as she surveyed the exterior of the building.

The building was a large multi story building with bluish hued glass windows making up the majority of the building's exterior with metal bars that almost seemed to shine white in between the several of the window panes.

Her eyes immediately focused on the outside of the building trying to figure out where a potential logo could go.

As she was looking at the exterior of the building, Klein had received the specification sheet from the Councilman and was looking it over and mentally crunching numbers.

"If I may be so bold, it appears this price seems rather high given the size of this building." Klein said with a raised eyebrow as he eyed the councilman.

"Well we have had a recent shortage of buildings recently and with such prices have increased." Grayson said as he wiped his brow.

"But didn't you say you could show us other buildings? The shortage must not be that bad if there are others for sale." Klein said as he began to watch the councilor's facade crumble.

"Well that's, er-" Grayson stumbled out before Willow stepped in,

"Enough Klein, let's go inspect the building. We can decide prices IF we even decide to build a branch office here later." Willow said as she walked towards the front door of the building followed closely behind by Klein who passed her the paper sheet.

Quickly pulling out his scroll Councilman Grayson sent a message to the other councilors. "I told you nitwits the price was too high but no try to milk the SDC. You buffoons might cost us the branch all together! Get someone to fix this price or we are all going to be unelected when the public hears of this."

Closing out of that conversation, he quickly pulled up a conversation with the mayor before typing out. "Sorry to disturb you in meeting BUT councilors might have screwed up SDC branch office with jacking of price. Please help fix this or come here personally. That will help settle the deal and would be a key point you could run on when re-elections happen."

Pressing send on that message he hurried after Willow and Klein trying to catch up with the pair as they stood in the lobby.

"Sorry about that, I was sending a message to other government members to see what we can do about that pesky price." Grayson said with a nervous laugh.

"Uh huh. Well I've seen the specification sheet, why don't you show us around?" Willow asked while Klein just gave a slight nod.

"Of course. Right here we have the lobby / reception area. This area can be responsible for ensuring that all guests that get let up are supposed to be there."

"That was a requirement, yes. Do the elevators require badge verification?" Klein asked, adding his two lien to the conversation.

"Of course and the elevators can be remotely controlled from the security control room. The stoppage of elevators should something happen will alert the authorities as well."

"Excellent. Seems you've thought this out then when choosing a building for showing as a potential SDC branch HQ. Keeping security in mind while still retaining function. Do you have anything to add, Klein?" Willow said as she looked over at the man.

"Nothing for now ma'am. Let us continue on with the tour." Klein said as he motioned for the councilman to continue.

Councilman Grayson nodding his head made his way to the elevator before pushing the button to call the elevator before turning to the duo.

"These elevators like I said are usually locked but the owner of the building has unlocked them for us today so we are free to use them without the ID badge being required." Grayson explained.

A few seconds after he had finished explaining this the elevator dinged and the trio got on and rode it up to the office floors before stepping out on to the 2nd floor.

Greeting them was a stage raised a little off the ground as well as a podium and several chairs seated in rows in front of it.

"This is the meeting area/press conference room. Naturally you won't be having press meetings every day so it doubles as a meeting area/presentation area for employee training and what have you."

"Good, that was one of the requirements." Willow said as she looked around before walking back towards the elevator when she heard a ping from her pocket and pulled out her scroll and saw Whitley's message as she stood in the elevator. Quickly typing out a message back of thanks for letting her know she slid the scroll back in her pocket as the councilman got onto the elevator.

"On we go then." Grayson said as he punched the button to the third floor as the elevator began to move before coming to a stop on the third floor and the trio stepped out.

"So if you look around there isn't much too profound here on this floor, just some storage space for basic office furniture and a security room." The councilman said while gesturing to the area around him.

"I assume this place doesn't have a basement then as this is the area for storage and security?" Willow asked.

"You would be correct in that assumption Mrs. Schnee. Now if you two will follow me we can continue going up to the fourth floor where there is some office space as well as the fax/printing/copying/coffee break room." Grayson said as he stepped back into the elevator and pressed the 4 button.

The elevator door opened and Willow and Klein peered out and saw the space was just that office space. Some cubicles that were larger than those you would see in a cramped office building made for a good environment, and a door leading to what they both assumed was the break ish room.

"And what are the remaining floors?" Willow asked, seeing there were still three more floors to go.

"Those would be the executive office area as well as more office area for the employees. Naturally the other office areas are on the fifth and sixth floors and the executive offices are on the seventh floor." Grayson explained.

"I see." Willow said with a nod of her head.

"The office areas on the fifth floor are more of the same you just saw. The sixth floor however has a few meeting and board rooms while some of the other space is sectioned off for a larger break/dining room where employees can store and eat their lunches should they choose to eat on site. It isn't as cramped as the "coffee rooms" on each floor although those are more of copying/faxing/ printing areas that coffee pots were put in to save elevator trips up. Of course the remaining desk areas on the sixth floor are more spread out, IT was the function of those areas with the last occupants. "

"Understandable. Efficiency is key after all. Why waste several trips when you can keep it on the same floor." Klein said with a nod.

"Would you two like to see the office areas or go straight to the executive offices?" Grayson asked before he pushed a floor button.

"Well not to sound rude but let's just go to the executive office area. I have other important things to do today as well." Willow said as she leaned against the elevator walls and rubbed her temples.

"Shareholder call or a board member meeting?" Grayson asked as he pushed the button and up they went to the seventh floor.

"Neither actually. It's a meeting with the Headmaster of Beacon which will no doubt be just as fun." Willow said with a role of the eyes and a slight laugh as the elevator made a *ding* and the door opened up to reveal the seventh floor.

Willow stepped out to see a reception desk as well as several offices, one being bigger than the other four, with all of them having glass walls.

Noticing her stare lingering on the glass walls the councilman offered his two cents to try and help sell the office further.

"The glass walls actually go solid in color and become like that of a normal wall with the flip of a switch. That is to say they go from transparent to not." He said as he led to them the bigger of the five offices and eventually after opening the door to the desk.

"If you look right here on this desk you will see a control panel. This switch right here controls the walls through, well it's a bunch of technological stuff i'm not all too familiar with the specifications of the how just that it does." Grayson said as he flipped the switch and the walls darkened to where they weren't able to be seen through anymore.

"Interesting." Klein said as he moved closer to inspect the walls.

"Indeed. That will be useful for when privacy is needed for more personal calls, meetings, or for anything that may need to be kept a bit closer to the chest." Willow said in agreement with Klein.

"Yes well the designer of the building wanted an open layout but still wanted to give everyone their privacy in their offices." Grayson said as he looked around as well.

"Very well then, I think we've seen enough. We'll get back to you all with an offer and a list of things we'd like when opening up a branch office. As you very well understand it will bring a few hundred jobs to the city of Vale which consequently means more tax revenue. So I'd like it if we didn't get overcharged on taxes, and building prices." Willow said as she began walking towards the door, and was quickly followed by Klein.

"Y-yes, I understand. I'll have the council look into more of what can be done so the relationship between the city of Vale and the SDC can be a mutually beneficial one." Grayson said as he hurried after the two.

Upon reaching the bottom of the building the trio walked outside, Grayson's phone pinged.

"Ah, that must be my daughter." He said as he pulled out his scroll and smiled. Putting it back away he reached into the other pocket and pulled out the keys to the car before tossing them to Klein.

"I understand you all will be in Vale for a little bit so feel free to use that car as you wish. It was just filled up this morning so it'll be fine for the week at least. Oh and it has a parking pass on it so it's free to park in most areas of the city. Just don't park illegally." Grayson said.

"And what will you be doing to get back, Councilman?" Klein asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh I'm meeting my daughter for lunch at one of the restaurants over a few blocks from here so she can give me a ride back to City Hall." Grayson said as he set off in the direction of the restaurant with a wave and a shout of "Have a good day!"

"Well care to drive me to Beacon, Mr Klein?" Willow asked as she walked towards the car.

"As you wish Madam." Klein said with an overly eccentric accent and slight bow before both started laughing.

"Come on now Klein, we must go check in on 2 of my children, although I bet only one will be happy to see me. Ugh, I wish I had a nice relationship like that councilor does with his daughter." Willow said with a sigh as she got into the car.

"It'll be alright Willow." Klein said as he sat down in the driver seat.

"Will it really be Klein? I came to try and talk to my daughter about how her father passed and all she did was yell at me before I could even speak. I keep trying to lay all my cards on the table but she keeps dismissing me like she's Jacques." Willow said as she blinked away a few tears that threatened to spill.

"It'll be alright because Weiss is kind and caring in her heart, you'll just have to reach it. Now you have Jaune to help as well as the rest of us so don't worry. You'll get through to her." Klein said as he began to drive the car towards the Beacon to Vale bullhead docks.

"Oum I hope so." Willow said as she looked out the window and watched the building pass by.

Back at Beacon Ruby and Whitley had made their way to team RWBY's dorm and opened the door to find Blake hiding under the covers hissing at the two dogs running around her bed and Yang apparently in the bathroom.

Upon hearing the door open and close however Yang opened the door and walked out.

"Hey sis you're finally back, what took so-" Yang said before cutting off and staring at the guest with her sister. "Uh Ruby, who's that?"

"This is Weiss' brother and will you please put a shirt on!?" Ruby practically yelled as she looked over towards Whitley expecting him to be staring at Yang and forgetting about her only to see him looking at the floor with a blush on his face?

"Oh we got a shy one huh?" Yang said with a teasing tone.

"Yang! Bathroom! Shirt! Now!" Ruby ordered as her sister straightened up a little before quickly grabbing a shirt and heading back to the bathroom.

"I've never heard Ruby be so commanding like that before. Wonder what that's all about. Maybe I just embarrassed her in front of Weiss' brother. Yeah that must be it. She wanted our team to look cool for Weiss' brother to show him what an awesome team his sister is on." Yang thought as she put on some deodorant and pulled on her shirt.

"Ok look I'm decent now." Yang said as she opened the door only to find the two of them weren't paying any attention to her and were instead playing with the dogs on the floor.

"Geez, ignore a couple of dogs." Yang said with a sigh as she watched the two play with Zwei and Winston, before she made her way over and sat on Blake's bed.

"Hey Kitty-Kat. Feeling better now that those mean ol dogs aren't bothering you any more?" Yang asked in her usual teasing / joking manner.

"Evil." Blake said as she shrunk back further under the covers.

"I swear Blake you're a walking stereotype." Yang said with a sigh as she pulled the covers off of Blake and dragged her out of bed. "Come on, let's go get some food. I'm hungry and I know they're serving fish so you have no room to complain.

"Alright." Blake said as she walked under her own power out the door, too tired of Yang dragging her to resist.

"That's the spirit." Yang said as they began making their way down the hallway. A little while down though they walked past team JNPR who was on their way back.

"Hey you two, what's up?" Jaune asked the pair.

"Nothing much, just going to get some food and I had Blakey tag along with me."

"Ah well if you're wanting fish better hurry. I heard they're about out." Jaune said as he felt a rush of air go by him and looked away from Yang to where Blake was standing. "Uh wasn't Blake there a second ago?" Jaune asked, to which Yang just sighed.

"Yeah , yeah she was. Oh hey Weiss' brother is in our dorm with Ruby playing with the two dogs. Just thought you'd wanna know, before I leave to go try to catch up with Blake. Later you guys." Yang said with a wave as she took off after her partner.

"Well you guys want to go meet Whitley?" Jaune asked his team.

"Sure fearless leader. Let's go meet your son!" Nora said with her usual excitement causing Jaune to laugh.

"Alright, what about you two?" Jaune said as he looked towards Ren and Pyrrha.

"Yeah it would be nice to meet one of your new family members." Ren said as Pyrrha stayed silent.

"Pyr?" Jaune asked as he waved a hand in front of her face.

"Huh? Oh sorry, yes I'd love to meet him." Pyrrha said as she quickly regained her composure.

"Alright well come one then." Jaune said and the three of them began walking down the hall before coming to a stop outside of their door and Team RWBY's door as Jaune knocked three times on RWBY's door.

"Coming." He heard Ruby call from within and a few seconds later the door opened with her standing there.

"Oh hey Jaune, everyone. Come in guys." Ruby said as she held the door open and the excited dogs ran to their new guests.

Letting out a small laugh Jaune reached down and picked up Winston. "Hey boy did you miss me?" He asked as the dog barked happily and licked his face before Jaune sat him back down before greeting Whitley as well.

"What's up kiddo. You've grown since I last saw you." Jaune said with a smug grin as Whitley gave him a slight push.

"Don't you start that now Jaune, you aren't much older than me." Whitley fired back at him with a laugh before he was engulfed in one of Nora's bear hugs.

"Oh my Oum you are adorable!" She said as she squeezed Whitely.

"Thank…you.." Whitely said in between gasps before Nora released her hold on him.

"A pleasure to meet you Whitley. I'm Ren and the energetic girl who just tried to crush you in a bear hug is Nora, my partner." Ren said with an outstretched hand.

"AND GIRLFRIEND! Don't you forget that mister." Nora said as she popped up besides Ren and booped him on the nose.

"Believe me Nora, I could never forget that." Ren said with a chuckle before moving aside for Pyrrha.

"Hi, I'm Pyrrha, I'm Jaune's partner." Pyrrha said as she held out her hand for a handshake as well.

"Wow you're her huh?" Whitley said as Pyrrha sighed internally at seeing someone else recognize her for her fame.

"I mean Weiss talked a lot about you being a champion fighter or something so you must be good. Anyways it's nice to meet you and I'm glad Jaune is in good hands." Whitley said with an honest smile.

"Wait so he only knows about me because Weiss talked about me? Thank Oum, he's not another big fan or something." Pyrrha thought to herself as she watched Whitley go back to playing with Winston and Zwei alongside Ruby before the couple bumped into each other and fell over on top of each other before laughing it off and going back to playing with the two corgis

As this happened she heard Nora whisper to Ren, "Aren't they adorable?" To which she heard a sharp intake of air from Jaune beside her.

Meanwhile on the other side of Beacon, a bullhead was in the process of landing. After coming to a complete stop the doors opened up and Klein and Willow got out to a site they didn't expect to see. There standing on the bullhead docks, was Weiss Schnee, seemingly waiting for the two.

"Hello Mother, hello Klein." She said as she greeted the two.

"Looks like you won't have to go very far Willow, Weiss came to you." Klein said softly to the Schnee Matriarch.

"So it would seem." Willow said back quietly, before turning to Weiss.

"Hello dear daughter, while I am happy to see you may I ask why you seemingly sought me out? It's not unwanted, it's just something you haven't done in well, years." Willow said, as the sadness in her voice seeped through more so towards the end of the sentence causing Weiss to flinch a little.

"Well I had a discussion with my teammate, well team leader actually, and I think I should take her advice. Mother, I think it's time we had a talk. Just you and me, laying all our cards on the table." Weiss said as she looked towards her mother.

"That sounds wonderful Weiss. Where will we be holding this talk?"

"This way in one of the classrooms. I got permission to use it this afternoon when I heard you were coming, and Klein if you call Whitley he can help give you directions to my team's dorm. I have no doubt he's already there." Weiss said as she began making her way towards the main building as Willow followed behind her and Klein went off to find Whitley, Winston, and Jaune.
