Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story. This one about Little Witch Academia. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own LWA, Yoh Yoshinari and a few others do.
Aayden Adairmon was not someone who was fazed easily. Was the teenage witch used to magic much? No, but that was one of the reasons he was being sent to a school to learn more about his abilities.
The funny thing was Aayden did have a very skilled knack for learning things and planning. His father noted the boy did currently have very weak magic, but his mind was very sharp.
"Dad?" Aayden asked while staring at the chessboard in front of him. "Can I ask why I'm being sent here again?" Aayden questioned his father as he let out a tired hum.
Traveling took a lot out of him, which combined with how exhausting all the preparation was? Aayden felt ready to pass out at any moment. His father looked down at him.
Compared to the rather lanky and regular sized teenager? Aayden's father was a very hulking brutish looking man with the scars of war covering his face. Still? Aayden knew his father was a caring and loving man who only fought to protect him family. The man cherished life far too much to enjoy taking it in any capacity.
"Well, your mother is busy trying to get the paperwork done." Aayden heard from his father which caused the boy to let out a hum and settle back into thought.
Aayden's father looked over at his son. The man was well aware Aayden had not adjusted to regular life well. To be fair, however? Magic was a very large part of life for the family, which made it hard to understand regular tasks when a spell or two could often produce the same result.
"How are the warmup classes going?" His father questioned. Aayden often found it amusing 'Adrian' was the name of his father. It was almost like he wanted to name his son after the same letter of his first name. "I heard you've been late a few times." Adrian added which caused Aayden to look to the side.
"Aayden, you know those tutors are supposed to help prepare you for the future?" Adrian questioned his son before their car pulled into the driveway.
Aayden brushed off his white jacket and let out a sigh.
"Dad, not to be rude?" Aayden asked while looking at the driveway of their home. "Those teachers don't even try to prepare me for anything. One of them literally just asked me magic questions… This was after several weeks of starting to prepare for class." Aayden stated while letting out a hum.
Aayden let out a yawn and rubbed at his eyes with the arm of his sleeve. Adrian looked at his son and said nothing. He didn't want to argue and risk ruining further training.
"Can you just wait then until you get to school and do double practice then?" Adrian questioned while humming and looking at his son.
"Yeah." Aayden said before brushing off his silver colored jeans. Aayden knew for a fact that school would be a lot harder than the tutoring. That didn't stop him from being anxious.
Aayden let out another yawn. The young warlock to be was tired more then anything. His drooping eyes were a big sign that he felt like dropping any minute if he hadn't gotten back home soon.
Aayden propped himself down on the couch and decided to wait until his mother got home. He'd go to sleep by then.
Aayden was entirely curious on how school would be different when it came down to it? It would be pretty interesting considering there was 2 magical schools. One for girls and one for boys.
Aayden hummed and buried his head into the pillow. He closed his eyes for a moment and waited for noise to tell him is his mother was home.
"Ugh, I've got a giant headache." Aayden stated to himself which caused his head to hurt slightly more. Aayden grunted and grabbed at his head in anger.
"Ow. Crap, that stings more than anything." Aayden muttered to himself while closing his eyes to try and sleep off the headache.
Little did he know how different school would be. Little did he know how fun and how he'd find a new friend after starting up magic training.
