Full summary: When Mon-El, son of Zor-El and Alura, first landed on Earth, he was found by his cousin Kal-El, and overtime, they grew up like brothers and learned to use their powers together. Years later, he ends up in National City, assistant at CatCo Worldwide Media, and secretly, he is also the hero Valor. In all the time that he had lived on Earth, he thought that he and Kal were the last kryptonians left and that he would never be able to form a connection with anyone that was like him. However, that all changes when one day, a mysterious golden haired woman lands upon the Earth in a kryptonian pod. But who is she?
Main Characters
Michael Kent/Mon-El/Valor - Mon-El is the son of Zor-El and Alura In-Ze. When Krypton was doomed to be destroyed, Mon-El was sent by his parents in order to look after his cousin, Kal-El. When Mon-El landed on Earth, both he and Kal were still young. Learning together and seeing what their powers are. Clark thinks of him as a brother and Martha treating him like her own. When the two had grown up they knew that they would have to find their own destinies. While Kal found his in Metropolis, Mon-El found his way to National City becoming an intern for CatCo Media's news network. Then, when his friend Alex Danvers' life was threatened, Mon-El revealed his powers to the world and ended up becoming his own hero, Valor.
Kara – Kara was handmaiden to the Daxam royal family, Kara was tasked with watching over and protecting the princess and heir to the throne. However, when the pieces of the newly destroyed Krypton began raining down on the planet, she tried to escort the princess to safety. Only for the princess to hijack the pod and send off instead while the princess chose to die with her people.
Alex Danvers – Alex Danvers, daughter of Eliza and Jeremiah Danvers, two former scientists that even met and helped the Man of Steel himself in the past. However, when Alex was young, her father mysteriously disappeared helping out one too many aliens and most reports said that he was dead. However, Alex never stopped believing otherwise and eventually her investigation leads her to meeting Detective John Jones who had met her father not long before he had supposedly died. And from then on, the two became co-workers in his business of investigating the city's 'mysteries' while also trying to unlock the truth of what happened to Jeremiah.
Winn Schott Jr. - Winn is a young tech expert at CatCo WorldWide Media and one of Mon-El's best friends. Often trying to keep himself out of trouble but unintentionally knows more than his fair share of secrets especially when it comes to the various heroes in the world. It is not all bad for him though as he is a fan of comics and other geek media. While nowhere near as experienced, he tries his best to help his friends whenever he can.
J'onn J'onzz/Martian Manhunter - J'onn J'onzz is the last surviving son of Mars, having escaped the massacre of his people by fleeing to Earth. However, his arrival and green 'monstrous' form was not welcomed kindly, forcing him to hide with his shape-shifting abilities. For years, he was even hunted down by the United States Government until he was saved by Superman. While he was thankful for the kryptonian saving him, the two were not so equal and had their own fair of issues putting distance from one another. Now, he works with Alex as detectives and investigators in National City.
Maggie Sawyer - Maggie is a police officer for the NCPD whom had transferred from a position in Metropolis. Having hoped to get away from insanity of Superman battles in Metropolis for a more quiet life (like that'll happen). She's straight-forward, hard-headed and strict with her work without letting letting anything hold her back. However, a lot of her strength and confidence is merely a shield for her own vulnerabilities and insecurities. Fearing no one will ever truly accept her for who she is. Shortly after arriving in National City, she becomes fascinated with Alex Danvers and tries to get to the bottom of what she's really like.
