A/N: What's that? I can't hear you over how much stuff goes on in this chapter. O.O So much drama… DRAMA OVERLOAD! But, least it's Kain who's just surprised and suspicious about everything. Unlike ZERO WHO DECIDES TO GO INVESTIGATING! T. T So hard to investigate stuff you know.

Kain covered another yawn, wiping the blurring eyesight yet again as he used the full-length mirror to hold himself up. He tried to hold in the next one, defeated as he leaned against the mirror. "Ah, vanity. I know it well."

He turned to the intruding voice, rubbing his eyes. "It's not like I'm trying to…"

As he held back a yawn, Gonkuro patted his arm before collapsing on the bed. "Think Master Kiryuu had some designs about you staying out past your bedtime."

"Mm. He's obvious when he thinks he can get out of something. Unlike you. You… sneaky." Again, he held in a yawn, choosing to ignore the concern on his butler's face. "How bad is it going to be, Kanno?"

"Pretty bad. Lots of shit talking about Master Kiryuu."

"I'll rip their throats out."

"Don't get your hands dirty, Master Kain. That's why you have me."

Kain hid a smirk. "Are you saying you approve?"

Gonkuro fiddled with his jacket. "Well, he's good for you. You're more relaxed now than before. And, at least he's honest with his emotions."

"You mean for manipulating me and dragging me into yet another plot?" Kain stretched, feeling a tinge of regret. Blood loyalty, he told himself. "Probably his own plot but, still."

He turned back to the mirror, trying to achieve the ultimate sex on legs look Touya attributed to him. He still wasn't honest about why he had more interest in his appearance – claiming it was good for his image. Even now, he could see the ghost of the boy Gonkuro used to be: the hunched over posture, the crooked grin with missing teeth, the one strand of ebony hair that refused to turn. All added to it but, the annoyance in Gonkuro's eye was something Kain was quite familiar with. Gonkuro sighed. "First off, stop preening. You look like a cockatoo."

"Cockatoo's are the most amusing of the birds so, thank you for the compliment."

"Second," Gonkuro ignored his comment, raising himself, "even if it's for Master Kiryuu's own selfish gain… He means well. And, as much as you both deny it, you care."

"Course I care, Kanno. I hate that I care but, I do. Just as much as I care about you and Touya and Hana and Ruu –"

"Not that kind of care." He rested against the dresser. Kain knew a lecture was brewing. "Plot… Everyone has a plot. Your father when he tried to impress everyone. Your mother when she arranged you to marry Mistress Souen. Lord and Lady Kuran… Who knows what they plan. Aidou… Well, Aidou doesn't really have the capacity for plots. He's more of a logistics man…"

"You're not supposed to badmouth family." Kain warned.

Gonkuro shrugged. "I'm just saying everyone has a plot. Except you. Then again, I don't think you actually have a brain."

"That's… Not how that…" Kain shook his head.

"Point is… Even if you are a part of a plot, you might as well make the most of it. You make a good couple."

Kain tried to hide the blush, fidgeting with his white blazer. "You've just never seen me with anyone else."

"True. And you're cynical." They glared at each other, Gonkuro winning.

"Even if I am in a plot… I want it to be for a reason I believe in for someone I… But, I can't. So, there's that."

"Stubborn." Gonkuro muttered. "Just let your feelings guide you."

"My feelings guide me wrong." Kain sighed and lifted the collar up, glaring at it.

"What's that?"

"A collar Kiryuu got me. I think I should wear it since I'm making him wear a suit." He caught Gonkuro's expression in the mirror. "For the… It's…"

Gonkuro held up his hand. "Fine, fine. Be as stubborn as you want. Just be down in fifteen."

Finally alone, Kain fastened the damn thing just below his Adam's apple, choosing to cover it with his shirt. Only as he traced the plastic did he sit on the edge of his bed. In private, he'd assess his feelings and he knew what they were. Obsession. Infatuation. Or, at least the beginnings of. Love wasn't truly love until it was returned. He ran a hand through his hair and lay on his back. Since the feedings, he had a tsunami of mixed emotions – some his, some Kiryuu's. He could tell which was which based on what hurt more. He thought he'd know when the other returned his affection. He felt a small smile emerge as he sensed the shift in Kiryuu's mood. Nervous… Angry… Again, Kain smoothed his hair, pulling on the roots. Would he have to keep him segregated from Souen and Aidou? If so, he'd barely have the energy to deal with the rest of the night.

Carefully, he righted himself up, already uncomfortable. He hated the tuxedo pattern, finding it restricting in his movements. Something about it was reminiscent of his first fitting with Headmaster Cross who had produced an infant-size uniform. Aidou had taken one glance and howled with laughter, referring to him as 'Little Boy Blue'. Until the next shipment arrived, Kain refused to wear it. Souen was only too happy to drag him to the nearest store but, even now, Aidou's mocking voice could be heard.

He stood and poured himself six flasks of whatever he could find. I'll need it, he convinced himself.

And indeed, he did. He allowed the maid to take his blazer, his eyes on the receiving line. He approached Uncle Aidou first, whispering his congratulations. From the corner of his eye, Kiryuu waited patiently. The older man pulled him in close. "We'll talk, yes?"

With a sigh, Kain barely nodded before moving down the line. Cousin. Cousin. Cousin. Aunt Souen, swaying with a glass of wine in hand. She had the same toffee hair though, where Souen's were wide and curious, her mother was more accusing and scrutinizing. Still, she let him pass on which, he was thankful for.

"Congratulations." He started. Aidou nodded, absentmindedly. Kain stepped forward, dropping his voice. "You'll look after anyone –"

"Who talks bad about Kiryuu?" He stepped back, staring his cousin in the eye. "It's been on the invitations and in the little R.S.V.P. Also, security will escort anyone who dares."

"Thank you."

"Remember your promise."

Kain nodded again, stepping to a tipsy Souen. She threw her arms around Kain's shoulder. Normally, Kain would have returned the embrace and inhaled her lavender shampoo. Tonight, he patted her arm. "Your mom's drunk."

"Keep her away from me." She muttered against his shoulder. "She's already done the comparison."

"How bad could it be?" He half-joked, breaking it. "Be nice."

"Yeah, yeah." She gestured her shooing motion, helping herself to yet another glass. Kain chanced one more look at Kiryuu, obviously uncomfortable in the setting though, his face was blank. Kain exhaled slowly, the violet eyes trying to find someone to latch on to. He desperately wished it could be him. But, Souen's mother had already gripped his wrist, dragging him towards the office.

"Well, well." She placed a hand on his cheek, smiling up at him. Kain avoided her gaze. "You know, you would have made a handsome son in law."

"Thank you, Auntie."

She jutted her chin out towards Aidou, currently speaking with Kiryuu. "He smiles too much. Doesn't take the world seriously. My Ruuka needs someone who can shield her from the harsh realities."

"I'm well aware that you think that's what she needs."

"Mother knows best. Your mother did. It's too bad that children never listen." She huffed.

"But, you ignore the basics." Kain answered, pointing to Souen. True, the other was drinking though, glass in hand, she squeezed Aidou's with her other. "The supportive parts. And the way they seem content with one another."

"Seem. That doesn't mean they are." She patted Kain's arm, almost gripping his bicep. He had become used to this sort of touch – at least she wasn't scolding him for choosing another man this time. "You could have made her twice as happy."

"And she would have been living a lie."

"A lie is better than true heartbreak."

"I –"

"Yua." She sighed as Aidou's father stepped forth. "You should be greeting guests."

"You greet them." Even as she muttered it, she passed by him. Kain almost smiled, recalling a few too many times Souen's own reaction to her mothers' orders. It wasn't long before Aidou Senior turned to him, the cold flash reminding Kain that he was the worse of the two. "My office, yes?"

With a barely perceptible nod, Kain led the way down the winding hallway, finally approaching the blinding white office. Compared to Kitashi's, it was bare and hardly used. Still, he sat on the seat before the fire, watching the flames rather than his relative's back. "He's good looking. Definitely would steal the attention of anyone."

Kain raised an eyebrow. "Pardon?"

"Your… For lack of a better word, whore." Kain's fingernails gripped the armchair. "Paramour is probably a better word for it."

"What are you driving at?" The younger tried to keep his voice level, despite the red luster in his eye.

"While even I can appreciate a beauty," he spun around as he spoke his next point, "they should not become a distraction to family."

"You and Auntie in this together, then?" Kain asked, finally raising his eyes. "I know my mother had her heart set on this –"

"Not only your mother. We all did. We all wanted for the Aidou family to have the purest bloodline."

"It still is. She's not marrying some other aristocrat – she's marrying your son. Perhaps you should back off and realize that your son is happy."

"Happiness has nothing to do with marriage. It is a series of compromises made again and again –"

Kain stood. "And they have made compromises. They're genuinely happy, Uncle."

"She could be just as happy with you." The elder almost shoved Kain back down. "Ruuka's always given into her flights of fancy and I didn't mind Hanabusa being a dalliance. But… This has gone on too long. It's you. That was the wish of Yua and the wish of Mayoko."

"As I was telling Auntie –"

"Spare me your thoughts of happiness, Akatsuki. We both know you have no belief in love."

"For myself. Not for others."

As if he didn't hear him, the older carried on. "Ruuka needs a firmer man. As much as I love Hanabusa, he's far too fragile."

"And, she loves him for it." Kain stood. "Are you so insistent on this plan that you won't listen to reason?"

"Are you so blinded by a happy ending that you don't see the destruction?" Kain turned silent. There was no point. The other nodded, as if he had reached an achievement. "Now, you will figure out how to intervene."

"Uncle, this is –"

"Gonkuro still works under my name." He shot quickly. Kain flinched, his hand tightening into a fist. "And, Kiryuu has dangerous work ahead of him. Touya, of course, can get a modeling job anywhere – and take that little human brat with her. Despicable. She may be of our clan but, the partners she chooses… It's no wonder her parents disowned her."

Kain sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "I suppose I could create a scene during the toast."

Aidou Senior grinned, clapping his hands onto Kain's shoulders. "Good boy."

Kain sank into the chair once his uncle had disappeared behind the door and helped himself to his first flask. At least he didn't have to be sober for the engagement party. With great effort, he heaved himself from the chair and opened the door, his eyebrow raising at a newcomers' appearance. Rather than the bored expression, the brunette seemed more alert. "Shiki. What do I owe the pleasure?"

Shiki stepped into the room, gesturing for Kain to close the door. He set two glasses down on the small desk. I don't have time for this… Still, he felt it would be rude to leave. Shiki turned towards him, examining him. "Thought this might help."

"I'm packing. But, thanks." He turned to leave. The other grabbed his arm. "Oh, you can stay in here as long as you need."

Shiki was closer to him now. Kain blinked a few times, listening for the door. Perhaps there was a reason. Maybe he was helping him hide from Auntie. "Stay with me."

Kain shot one more glance towards the door, resting against it. He didn't dare meet Shiki's eye, convinced it was for a better reason.

"How's it going with Kiryuu?" The question flooded Kain's mind. Early morning Kiryuu, still grumpy but aware. Later morning, much more awake. Kain felt the corners of his mouth twitch upwards. "He meeting all your needs?"

"Hmm?" Kain blinked the thoughts away, finding Shiki much closer to him, one hand next to his head. "Uh, yeah. What about you and Ichijo?"

A brief flash of regret. The old Kain wouldn't have missed it. Instead, he only found Shiki shrugging. "Done and done."

"No. You two are perfect for each other." Kain started, backing off from the door, resting his hands on Shiki's shoulders. "Who ended it? Why?"

"I did." He barely heard the answer. The words hadn't even fully sunken in when Shiki pressed his lips against Kain's, snaking around his neck. Kain was motionless. Five things you see. Shiki's tongue trailed across his lower lip.

Kain sidestepped, quickly untangling himself from the guest. "I… Should go check on the… Yeah."

He slammed the door behind him. Only one name came to him once he had regained awareness: Touya. He made a bee line for the blonde, her face red. He greeted her parents. Her mother held a new glass, eyes roaming for someone. "Do you mind if I borrow her?"

"As you can see, we're in the middle of a discussion –" Her father started.

"Discussion…" Touya nodded her head, her eyes narrowed. "More like an argument."

"Why did you two break up again?" Her mother asked, her fine blonde hair flipping.

Kain wracked his mind for the answer the duo had agreed on. "Well –"

"I like girls." Touya finished. "Kain's a –"

"Oh, hush. You only think you like girls." Her mother chided. "Just as Kain only thinks he likes boys."

"Excuse –" Touya's fangs grew.

"No, no. Let your mother finish." Kain always hated the pinched face of Touya's father, only too smug. Even now, the inherited blue eyes were cold and detached, as though analyzing someone's life was his only amusement.

Kain leaned into Touya's side. "Check on Yori."

Touya nodded, stepping on something that sounded like glass. Kain looked down at it, sighing mentally.

"His… paramour just left with Ichijo." She held a knowing smirk. "Want to bet Kiryuu will leave with him for the night, Kain?"

Kain lifted his head. "Say what you like about me. But, as you well know, the invitations have a warning."

"Please." Touya's mother placed her empty glass on the tray. "You just wanted a venue to show your new… fling… If you can call him that."

He stepped towards them, his voice lower. Touya's father inched closer to her mother. "You've disrespected your own daughter and her lover. Fine. You've disrespected me. I'm not bothered."

"So protective." She slurred.

"Kain, I'm warning you." The man tried to reach his full height though Kain knew he was more imposing.

"I'd suggest you leave."

"You're not the one I'm here to see." She argued, a half-bemused smile on her face.

"Yes. Tell me, how do the Kurans react to parasites?"

"I wouldn't know."

"You talk a lot," Touya's father finally started again, "for someone who brought the worst parasite here."

"Yet, you forget your basic manners. Never insult the hosting parties family or connections." He nodded to one of the security men, partially unhappy with the amount of discretion. Still, he probably overstepped a line. Touya would be miffed with him… So glad I don't have any family loyalties.

Kain turned, only slightly surprised by his Uncle's sudden reappearance. "Threatening? Really, Akatsuki? You've stooped."

"Only in one se –"

"We'll talk about it later." He shoved Kain towards the center, ignoring his nephew's complaints. He stood where his Uncle had insisted, clutching his arm as eyes fell on him. His eyes fell on Kiryuu, finally grounding himself. The tired violet eyes rested on him. A part dreaded his approach, unsure of how to broach the subject. He wanted no more than to say A-kitty though, the word still bothered him. Like he was talking about himself in the third person. "Ah, there's the bride and groom."

Kain almost flinched, the loud sound creating a bit of a headache. Still, he offered his hand to Zero, trapping him in Kain's arms. He closed his eyes, finally all right. "Tell me what you're thinking."

"Hmm?" Kain responded, sad as reality returned.

"A-kitty."

The word. Kain raked over Aidou and Souen, arguing over something infantile and laughing as they did so. Both blissfully unaware of the damage. He furrowed his eyebrow, settling on Kiryuu's face. He did promise to stay until the toast. "Can we wait until after dinner? I have to give a toast still…"

"What are you planning?" Kiryuu asked, barely heard over the instruments.

"Nothing." Kain assured. For you to worry about. "Just… Focus on the dance."

Without missing a beat, he spun Kiryuu and caught Souen, straightening them out. "How bad is it, Akatsuki?"

"Bad." He stepped forward and back, eyes ahead.

"What's the plan?" She asked.

"Really wish people would stop asking me that." He gripped her waist, focusing on the small circle before returning to waltzing position.

"I'm assuming you're move is to do with the toasts?" She questioned.

"I honestly don't know, Ruuka."

"Well… How about you propose to Hanabusa?"

"That… Might actually work." He grinned as she hit him, preparing for the second twirl. He was surprised when she twirled him, almost colliding into Aidou. He righted himself.

"Really?" Aidou questioned, taking the lead.

"I thought I was spinning her to Kiryuu, not the other way around."

Aidou snickered, turning serious. "W –"

"Thus far, I've only got propose to you during the toast." Aidou snorted as Kain hunkered down for another twirl.

"Don't hate me if I reject you."

"Why would I hate you for that?" He sighed heavily as they returned to the original position. "I just want this done."

"I feel that." He patted Kain's arm sympathetically, reaching towards Souen's hand. Kain did the same, twirling Kiryuu into his arms. He restricted their movements, both arms wrapped around Kiryuu's waist. He didn't resist as Kiryuu rested his head against his shoulder, momentarily stroking his hair. Kain inhaled his scent, trying to keep himself from breaking down, the momentary kiss to his temples solidifying his resolve.

"Whatever you have to do, you do." Kiryuu's voice soothed Kain. He squeezed him tightly, cupping his cheek before finding the resolve. Apparently, it took too long as his uncle coughed. Aidou jerked his head towards the head table where the Kurans were to be. Instantly, Kain's hand went to Kiryuu's.

"On behalf of the family," his uncle started, "I'd like to formally express my apologies for not greeting you as you deserve."

"Oh, that's alright!" Yuuki stated in her naïve way. "We were late and you have other guests to tend to."

"What my wife means," Kaname started. Kain felt the little pang in Kiryuu's mind, squeezing it and hoping he knew he was there for support. He assumed so as Kiryuu squeezed back. "Is that, hosting a party for such a momentous occasion, we're the ones who owe you an apology."

Kain wondered when he was aware that Kuran was… Kind of a dick. His constant overtalking of Yuuki angered Kain yet, he lowered his head. He snickered as his uncle apologized yet again, whispering 'pandering ass'. He bit his lip, hoping that no one heard him. Why was he outspoken tonight? It could prove dangerous to his health if he continued. Still, he heard Kiryuu's snicker which, somehow, made it better. Thankfully, the pandering stopped shortly after and an announcement for dinner. Despite his own wants, Kain leaned close to him. "You'll be sitting with Touya and Wakaba."

Not a word. He followed Aidou and Souen, glad that his uncle was distracted for the time being. They seated him across from his cousins, further from Kiryuu than he'd like. Then again, anything apart from Kiryuu was to Kain's distaste. What truly set him unnerved was Shiki next to him. The brunette's eyes didn't meet his, though his hand rested on his thigh. Considering the glare from the host, Kain didn't bother to knock it off. Instead, he reached for his sock, unclasping his next flask.

His gaze wandered to Kiryuu's, the other in a conversation with Touya and Wakaba. He wanted to glare at Ichijo then lowered his head. No, he thought, if I intervene now, Kiryuu will lose all progress he tried to gain. He returned to the conversation at hand, all eyes on him. Really? I zoned out that long? He tried to search for Kiryuu's gaze, finding three empty seats. With a sigh, he stood with a full glass. "I'm not one for speeches. But, for Hanabusa and Ruuka, I've been made the designated person who does speeches. Which, is truly unfortunate for all of you."

A few chuckles. He inwardly sighed, trying to channel his inner Touya. "If you told me years ago that this would have happened, I'd have been very confused and probably kept silent or asked what universe you came from."

Again, a few nodded. "Hell, tell me she's marrying Hanabusa and I'd have asked if you were on drugs."

A snicker. He smiled at Souen before continuing. "But, times changed. I've watched them grow up, watched as they started to understand each other. Helped them arrange their get togethers. I've witnessed Hanabusa stop arguing about the damn maid and Ruuka turn into a confident young woman because of him.

"But, as our society does, our joining isn't because they're seemingly perfect." He tried to ignore the lightbulb going off in his head. "But, because of joining corporations. With that, I have a very important question for Hanabusa."

He walked around the table, ignoring Souen's grin or Aidou's high pitched giggles. "Hanabusa, will you marry me?"

A few of the guests gasped. Souen covered her mouth, trying hard not to snort. Only Aidou seemed to consider, clearing his throat a couple of times. "No."

"My apologies." Kain turned towards his cousin, avoiding her gaze. He knew if he lifted his eyes, the three would burst out laughing. "Then, Ruuka, as part of my dowry for Hanabusa, please accept a total of thirty-one shares in Kain Industries."

"I accept." Ruuka stated politely.

He stood again, lifting his glass. "To the couple."

Everyone drank. His uncle watched him warily, Shiki with a grin. Kain crouched again, lowering his voice. "I'm headed out."

"Why's Shiki all over you?" Souen questioned.

"And Ichijo isn't all over Kiryuu?" Aidou answered back. He nodded to Kain. "We'll try to keep him at bay."

"Check our balcony first." Souen instructed.

Kain nodded, glad that the early crowd was leaving. These were the types that would show up for the toast and the traditional dance… And the Kuran's. Then, it'd start dwindling down to close friends. Wakaba was among them but, Kain didn't have a chance to wish her well. Instead, he slipped through the French doors and followed the winding path. He stopped short as someone lamented. It had to be Ichijo. He exhaled, finally blocking the archway. Both of their backs were to him.

"I'd prefer a peaceful life. Too much excitement usually leads to bad things."

Kain swallowed the insecurity. He was sure it was still in his voice. "Zero."

Both rotated quickly. He understood Kiryuu's issue at never having been called his first name by Kain. Ichijo acted nonchalant. Kain would only understand what was going on later. Kain jerked his head towards the entrance, not missing the small relief on Kiryuu's. Kain led him out, neither speaking until they were in the car. "Zero? Really?"

"It feels weird to say 'A-kitty' without a sense of narcissism."

"Out of all the names…" He rested back as Kain started driving. Kain glanced behind him, letting out a sigh of relief. "What was that? Wait, why are you turning here?"

"Which question would you like answered?"

"Preferably both of them."

"Choose which one first." Kain overlapped Kiryuu's hand with his own.

"Three questions."

"I can only answer one at a time."

"What did I miss?"

"The usual. Dear old uncle forcing someone I don't know onto me. Touya drama. Hanabusa and Ruuka drama." He squeezed Kiryuu's hand. "My favourite drama."

"Did you just call me a drama?" He ignored Kain's smile. "Okay. Where are we going?"

"Somewhere far away where I don't have unwanted relatives to tell me what's up. Speaking of which." He pulled out his phone. "Shut it off."

Kiryuu did so. Kain drove a small duration before he spoke again. "Third question?"

It was the elephant in the car. Kain knew it was his sudden need to touch Kiryuu, to touch him. He didn't need the blood bond to tell him so. Even still, Kiryuu voiced a question. "Did you really call me a drama?"

"Think about your situation and tell me you're not." Kain remarked, turning again.

"Will you tell me where we're going?"

"I told you."

"I mean a physical location."

"…It's a property Gonkuro has. Don't worry – it's still close to where we are, just…"

"Away from them."

Kain fell silent.

The cabin was small for the aristocrat but still a decent size. Kiryuu set his go-bag down, ready to explore. Kain exhaled and sat on the couch, glad for the peace. Out of the corner of his eye, he noted Kiryuu wandering in and out of the family rooms. "You're not doing your usual paranoid schizophrenic act."

"If there was anyone but us here, Gonkuro would know." Kiryuu nodded, seating himself next to Kain. The other's arms snaked around his waist, kissing his cheek.

"What's going on?" Kiryuu questioned though, he didn't move out of Kain's grasp. He grabbed his chin, the suspicion written on his face. That might have been when he realized Kain's scent was skewed. He was silent for a moment, Kain unblinking. "What happened?"

"Shiki kissed me." He was ready to apologize.

"I see." Kiryuu dropped his hand. "And, did you kiss him back?"

Kain shook his head. "No."

"I mean, I know how much you want him." Kain shook his head again. Kiryuu pinched the bridge of his nose. "What do you mean 'no'? Wasn't this the entire reason you agreed?"

"Kiryuu."

The Hunter scoffed, standing. He scoured the fridge. Kain stepped towards him. "I mean, how am I supposed to help you if you don't know what you want help with?"

"Don't you know?" Kain questioned. Kiryuu snapped his head in his direction, obviously unaware of how close Kain was.

"How am I supposed to know?"

"Mm…" Kain rested his hand on top of Kiryuu's head, slowly sliding it towards his waist. "He's tall. Bad attitude. Thinks he has an unbreakable bad boy rep but, I know better. Doesn't really snore. And, has told me many times that he likes me."

When his eyes returned to Kiryuu's, the other swallowed. Kain nodded once, backing off. "If I'm wrong, I'm sor –"

For the second time that night, Kain found someone's lips pressed against his. This time, he didn't part, allowing himself to be trapped between the wall and Kiryuu's body. His tongue slid over Kiryuu's, the same time his hand slipped up Kiryuu's shirt. Perhaps he was spaced out on sensation, his mind happily a blur when he returned to reality. Kiryuu's head rested on the arm of the couch, still lost. Kain had straddled him. He felt his throat dry, running his hands down Kiryuu's abdomen. The other opened his eyes, the violet iris annoyed momentarily. He adjusted himself, sitting upright, his lips barely brushing Kain's as he gripped the aristocrat's thighs. "We can stop if you want."

Kain nodded yet wrapped his arms around Kiryuu's shoulders, resting on the blades. He felt the cold chain against his torso. "You're wearing the cross."

"And, you're wearing the collar."

"Great minds." He lifted Kiryuu's head by his hair, rocking slightly at the moan. The silver-haired man bit his lower lip. Every inappropriate comment Kain could have made stifled itself upon Kain's eyes falling on his neck.

Kiryuu nodded, tilting his head to the side. Even now, Kain was unsure, referring back to his partner every centimeter. The blood pulsated just under his fangs, beckoning him forth. A different type of bliss took over.

A/N: Kain was SO CLOSE. But no. He's a gentleman through and through, even if he is a bit of an idiot. Also, there's a BCD chapter coming up so, time to make blush comments.
