A/N: Soon, it'll be a new area. And, soon, I'll have more pizza!

Dead tired today so, if it's shit, you have a reason.

Zero rubbed the tiredness from his eyes, the extra pillow he had lain with now crumpled to the floor. He shut his eyes again, the blaring light from his phone blinding. His hand groped along the sheets, finally finding the vibration. Groggily, he spoke into the phone. "…lo?"

"Kiryuu."

"Uhn." He rolled over onto his side, his head aching and throat parched. "… Where?"

"For the love of…" The dispatcher turned their head. "Kiryuu's drunk!"

He winced at the sounds of disapproval. "… Not. Just tired. Where?"

"Not really a new community but, we'd like the monthly sweep to be done by you and Kaito."

"… Yamie?"

"Yeah, Yamie."

He held in a yawn. "When?"

"Soon as possible." He hung up at the same time as the dispatcher, a little wobbly on his legs but otherwise, he was fine. As he leaned against the dresser, his fingers felt the cold key Touya had gifted him with last night. He groaned, knowing that it meant she had brought someone home.

Awkwardly, he hung his head down, avoiding eye contact with anyone in the general vicinity. He could hear the other shower running, hitting the wall. Most likely, Touya would be sitting on her bed, waiting for it to become blistering hot. He scratched the back of his head and started making a coffee. "Two of those, please."

Startled, he spun around. On the other side of the island, the girl he nicknamed Onee-chan sat at the bar stool, her eyes on the morning news paper. He tried not to gulp at her lack of clothing, remaining stoic as he returned to the previous task. Why the hell did his face feel hot? Still, he did as was asked, lifting three mugs down from the cabinet. He heard the rustling of papers, the eyes burning into his skull. Zero slid bread into the toaster as the coffee finished percolating. At least it'd keep his mouth busy.

He slid two cups of coffee onto the island, one where Touya would sit, and helped himself. Onee-chan spoke again. "You're Rima's roommate, right?"

He bit down on the toast, burning his tongue slightly, and managed a nod. He searched for a neutral place to stare at, finding the bedroom door the easiest as he sipped from his mug. He was used to the observations most of Touya's guests gave him, their attentions departing shortly after the acknowledgement. Still, with his peripheral vision, he watched her lick her lips, his attention drawn downwards as she fidgeted.

"You know, if you don't start answering me, I'll have to start calling you Mr. Mysterious." He said nothing. She leaned forward, resting her hand near his arm. He grunted at the sound of her voice, sure she stated her name. "Well, Mr. Mysterious… I'm going to do a bold move."

She drank the rest of her coffee and sat in Zero's direct line of vision, covering a little with her thin arm. As she wrote down something, Zero lifted his eyes to just over her shoulder, half hoping Touya would come through the door, half dreading the thought. She slid whatever she wrote towards him. "Anytime. Day or night."

She winked, purposely dragging her long nails up his arm before she gathered her clothing. Zero waited for her to leave, the blood pulsating in his ears as he lifted the paper. Her number. "Awe, did she leave?"

Panicked, he slid the paper down his sweatpants pocket, glad that Touya was more interested in the coffee than in his actions. He swallowed his own, feeling betrayed when the anxiety building up hadn't lessened. "I have a Hunt in Yamie."

"But, what about our secret shoppers, we're hot as hell day?"

"You and Ruuka planned that – I never said I'd go."

"But, the entire purpose is for all of us to go." He shrugged. She made a face at him, texting Ruuka, he presumed. "We'll reschedule but, for eff's sakes, Zero."

"Work calls when work calls, Rima."

"Mm, and your work is a pain in the ass cause you can't even call in sick." She fake coughed.

"Stop." Zero told Kaito as the other snorted. "It's not funny."

"It is! You get hit on and your first thought is 'oh, she left something. Could be a note for Rima… SHIT, it's for me!' Classic Zero." He chortled again.

"Just… Insight! That's all I'm asking!"

"Insight for going after Rima's girl?"

"ONE of her girls. If I should even try for that."

Kaito shook his head. "Honestly, she's kind of like a bro. So, should bro code be amended to fit girls that other dudes think of as bro?"

Zero banged his head against the car window. "What do I do?"

"Ask her."

"How?"

"Say, I have a friend who has a girl but, I like the girl. So, what do I do?"

"… That's literally what I said to you."

"Yes."

"And then, you asked for specifics."

"Yes."

"And then, you laughed."

"Yes."

Zero pinched the bridge of his nose. "Am I looking forward to this same conversation?"

"Honestly? Probably. But, I don't know her head." Zero fell silent, secretly seething. Kaito nudged him. "You still think I'm brain damaged?"

"Obviously."

"How?"

"Master dropped you on your head during a training session and just went with it."

"That's not nice."

"Who said anything about nice?"

"Me. Say something nice, now."

"I should have left you in Yamie."

"That's not nice."

Zero fidgeted in his barstool as Touya slipped off her heels, stumbling to the island. "Okay. What's this thing you have to tell me?"

Just that I really like one of your favourite hook ups? He wet his lips, avoiding her eyes. "Wait until you hear the whole thing, okay?"

Touya nodded, pulling out one of the braids. He exhaled and met her eye. "I… have this friend who's dating this girl."

"Kaito's dating? Who? When? How did they get together?"

"… Do you seriously think Kaito is my only friend?"

"Well… It could be…" Her face fell. "It's not Sayori, right?"

"No. Not Sayori." He wouldn't deal with upset Touya tonight.

She nodded. "Okay, so definitely Kaito. Now… Where'd they meet? What's she like? What's her name?"

Zero stared at her, his brain formulating the pattern of using it for the same purpose. "They met… At a club, I think."

"I didn't know Kaito goes to clubs. Which ones?"

"… I don't know."

"Anyway, what's she like?"

"Bossy. Mature. Huge…" He cupped his hands in front of his chest, nodding towards Touya.

"Damn… I always thought he liked being the bossy one."

"Yeah, so did I."

"And, her name?"

"Not a clue."

She blinked. "You sure it's not a friends' with benefits kind of deal?"

"He probably knows it, I don't."

"Okay…" She shrugged. "Weird. Now, what's the problem?"

"While he went to the bathroom, she kind of… started flirting with me."

"Ugh. He deserves better than that."

"Problem is… I do kind of… It wouldn't be a serious thing for me but…"

He clutched his jaw, rubbing the sting. She had her finger in his face. "No! Bad Zero! Bad!"

"How?"

"Kaito never had a girlfriend before! You do not, I repeat, not go after this girl."

"… And… What if the girl isn't Kaito's?"

"… You lost me." She rested her elbows on the counter.

"Well, I asked and… Kaito said it would depend on the person I'm asking and their own emotional involvement."

"… Is it a girl?"

"… Yes. Why?"

"Well, I kind of thought you and Aidou would make a cute couple."

"… Wow. What a wonderful remark." He shook his head.

"What? He's of the same lineage… But, he does have a thing about being straight. Ruuka, no matter what, will always be a bit of a bitch to you. Though, maybe you'd like that… Little hair pulling."

"No! Stop!" He covered his ears.

"Not Ruuka or Aidou, then… Hmm.. Seiren?"

"Why is Aidou even a part of this?"

"Well, he has feminine features."

"… I need a drink."

"Two, please." Zero poured them each one. Touya played with the ends of her hair. "Okay, not her… Not her…"

Her eyes widened. "Oh… Oh!"

Zero tilted his head. Touya exhaled and placed a hand on his arm. "I'm so sorry if I led you on or had you thinking that –"

"No! Ugh, no!" He downed his shot, backing from her. "Not you!"

"Then, who…"

He fell quiet. "It is to do with you."

"Hmm?"

"Onee-chan."

"Onii-chan?" Zero glared at her. She shrugged, her lips curling upward. "Wait… You –"

"Don't start…"

"Have a type!"

"Anyway!" He covered her mouth, his face becoming serious. "Onee-chan."

"Yes… But, which one."

"You know… One of your favourites."

"Describe her?"

"Dark hair… Um, cat like eyes… Huge…" He tried his best to mimic the shape of her breasts, becoming increasingly embarrassed as he went on.

"There's two out of the possible three that fit your description." She informed him. "A name?"

"I don't listen to your hook-ups names!"

"… ignoring that." She leaned her cheek against her hand. "Does she have a sultry voice or a silky one?"

"What's the difference?"

"Hey, baby. Let's go to the club and have fun tonight." She mimicked, the purr at the end jogging Zero's memory. She changed it to a softer voice, even toned. "Or, we could stay in and catch a movie."

"Sultry."

"Ah." She pulled out her phone and started tapping on the keys.

"What are you doing?"

"Getting you a hook-up."

"You're… sure? I know she's one of your favourites."

Touya shrugged. "We all have our own tastes and our own… timely preferences."

"What does that mean?"

"Zero… When do you crave boy and when do you crave girl?"

"Um… There's no clear pattern."

"Exactly. So, the least I can do as a good girlfriend and a good roommate is give an option." She patted his head. "All you had to do was ask."

He glowered at her. She pulled out a piece of paper. "Now, what are the rules before she's here?"

"No threesomes." Zero spat out. Touya nodded, bolding the rule and underlining it.

"Always wear a condom." Touya added.

"Fair but… Why?"

"The last thing I need is to have an involuntary pregnancy because you didn't clean up."

"… Gross."

She shrugged. "We don't know the patterns."

"And, you're to come shopping with us!" Touya reminded him, following him around the island.

"The hell I am."

"You promised."

"Why would I promise that?"

"Because I'm the best roommate ever!" She posed, instantly adjusting her dress.

"Uh-huh. Go get dressed."

"Bossy." She stuck her tongue out at him. He rolled his eyes, unable to stop her from running towards the door upon the bell. She adjusted her dress again. "Oh, hi."

Zero had just started the coffee pot, peering over Touya's head. Lust flashed before him, reason lingering just behind. She smiled politely as Touya closed the door. "I wasn't sure if you were both here."

"Don't have anywhere else to be for another week." Touya pouted. "You didn't text."

"I texted Kiryuu." Zero lifted his phone from the table.

"Seventeen minutes ago. About the time you told me I needed to go shopping with you. And that I owe you milkshakes and… A really hot bartender…"

"My list of demands are long and varied." Touya winked at him and sat on the couch, leaning against the end of it. "What's on the mind?"

Onee-chan steady stared Kiryuu who slowly joined them in the living room vicinity, leaning against the back of the couch. "How would you guys feel about… A joint venture."

Zero lifted an eyebrow, all too aware of her fiddling with the tie on the robe of her dress. Touya sighed. "What kind?"

"I thought that was obvious?"

"There's financial, sexual, travel…" Touya's list trailed off as Onee-chan's hand trailed up her inner thigh. She lifted herself onto her knees, somehow straddling Touya's lap as her lips grazed Zero's cheek, the clear view down her shirt appreciative.

"These past weeks have been great." She started explaining, resting Touya's hand on her hip, the other hand resting on the nape of Zero's neck. Understanding dawned on Touya before Zero.

"Oh!" She lifted herself up, meeting Zero's annoyed eyes. "We… need to discuss that."

Onee-chan pouted, crossing her arms over her chest. "I guess…"

"No. I mean… Just Zero and I." She shoved his shoulder, rising to her feet. "We'll be back."

"Don't start without me." Onee-chan called. Zero glanced backwards, the cold air and reality slowly bringing him from his desire.

"Wait… Was she…"

"Using trickery to get a forced threesome without saying it?" Touya nodded, enjoying the wind hitting her face.

"Okay… How do we say no?" Zero asked, resting his arms against the railing.

"Um…" Touya sighed. "Look, in most cases… I wouldn't be saying no. And, it's not like we can drive the desire for a trio from her."

"Can we?" Zero asked.

"If we used compulsion."

"… I'm not talking about compulsion."

"Why not? It's the easiest thing at a vampires disposal. And, two vampires working it?"

"No thanks."

Touya huffed, leaning against the railing. "Then, what's your solution?"

Zero let his thoughts roam, trying to focus them. Touya hit his arm. "It better not be a yes."

"You're not in my fantasy." He responded. He reached behind him, grabbing his cigarettes from the table.

"Seriously? Smoking?"

"Helps focus the mind. At least, I find." He answered, ignoring her shove. Not even three minutes, he nodded. "Mind charm."

"Huh?"

"Mind charm is the least dangerous yet, powerful way of keeping a persons identity."

"Wh… Oh, yeah. Hunter first." She shook her head. "But, do you have it accessible?"

Zero scoffed. "I don't carry magic items with me all the time, Rima."

"Why not?"

"Because many of them would be confiscated just by being near a vampire."

"… Fine." She pulled out her phone.

"Texting Kaito?"

"Mm." Once it sent, she glared at him. "Just mad that it took you this long to mention it."

"No, you're not. You're mad because you didn't think of it first."

He hoped the question would stop. Once, maybe twice, Zero was comfortable with. Still, she insisted. Neither Zero or Touya called on her again.

A/N: Awkward Touya and Zero moment.

Though, the more I write these two, the more I think there needs to be a comedy just around them. xD

Huge shout out to Blemm-chan - for staying up late, roleplaying and listening to every thought that came stomping through my brain! Seriously guys, look her up!
