Summary/Disclaimer: Time for another chapter of A Lingering Ember. Enjoy the 8200-word chapter. I don't own RWBY, Monty Oum, and Rooster Teeth do.
(Vale.)
Trivia looked at the pretty umbrella. A beautiful white and pink wrapping with the misericorde blade within the weapon which would also double as a rifle to which she could fire single shots and the grappling hook with the shaft serving as a shield. Still? If this was how it looked? She couldn't wait to see how it was handled in her arms for now.
Ollie couldn't see the weapon, but he still playfully patted her head as the mute girl looked at him. he turned his head to Maroon as he shrugged, looking over the weapon as he did so.
"So., I guess this is going to be the start of your favor?" Ollie asked before he turned to Trivia seemed to question.
"Yeah. There's a shipment of dust in Mistral. Group called the Crown." Ollie heard from Maroon as he looked around, cooling the weapon off.
"Wait… The Crown? Those nutjobs who want to take over Vacuo? You want me and Triv to go screw with one of the biggest crime groups on Remnant besides the Spiders?" Ollie asked before he pointed a finger at him.
"Let me guess? You owe them again because after mom bailed you out? You HAD to go and screw with them, even when mom just told you to be over with this." Ollie stated as Maroon flipped his fingers before now. "Damn it, Maroon. She told you NOT to get back into this crap… Triv, listen. I owe him for the umbrella. I'm not going to ask you to help me, but I would like you to help me." Ollie stated before he questioned what to do as of now.
He sighed to himself. There was a lot more to focus on now. He hadn't the proper idea of what his fate would be.
"We need to get going. There will be a lot more to focus on before now. That, and I don't want you asking us to bowl over any other syndicates along the damn way." Ollie muttered before he rolled his eyes.
He hadn't the faintest clue on what to do, but he did know there was probably more to this damn quest. There was always something, always a catch. Maroon was NOTHING if not a pain for them. He hadn't the proper tools to match, but he did know this hadn't gone the way Maroon wished or had decided on.
Yet? It was how often this had gone. How he hadn't wished it. There was at least some pleasure in that little trinket of knowledge.
"Heh, you always were a whiner, Ollie," Maroon said as he finished his work. "And secondly? I don't expect you to steal the entire thing. The crown has way too much security for that. I expect you to get them out of the day way so I can do what I need to have gotten in the way. It won't matter if you do anyway. They have so many guys and people they can step on us like an ant. I want a special part of their stuff. If anything? I know better. I always knew better. There's a lot more to unpack." Maroon added to which he hummed.
"Then what is it you want me and Triv to take from one of the most powerful groups on Remnant, hmm? You're already too well connected; it won't do much." Ollie said before maroon rolled his eyes.
"A rich little girl from the Vanille family and a street urchin from the slums? There's nothing their notice about it." Maroon said as Trivia went to open her mouth. "Relax, little princess. I know who you are. That pink hair gives it away…. Anyway? I don't care who you are. There are not a lot of things to do. Sides, your Ollie's problem now." Maroon added to which Ollie was silent.
"Thanks, your old bat," Ollie said before Trivia gave a thumbs up. "Fine. We're go handle this damn thing. You're owing me one. If it was something simple like do your groceries or something? it'd be fine. This? This is something mom does." Ollie added before he hummed, rubbing at his eyes as he sighed, questioning what to do next.
He sighed and rubbed at his temples, there was something else to focus upon before now. He hadn't the proper idea as to how this. He hadn't the right idea, but he knew, for now, she and he could handle it. if nothing else? They'd survive, he was good enough to carry that out.
Well? If push came to shove? They'd fight through this and get where they needed to go next. There were other things to do, but it would falter and break.
"We need to get going then if we're going to properly get there on time, you know," Ollie said before he looked at Trivia. "Triv? We get going after you check out the umbrella or… Whatever it is you wished to call it." Ollie said as Trivia looked down at the object as it was passed to her.
She hadn't the proper idea of what to do next. There was a moment of clarity in her mind as she turned to him and wrapped her arms around him in a giant hug he rolled his eyes at her, returning the gesture after a few seconds as she swiped a finger across his lips in a smile.
"Good… Glad you like it; we're going to need it for this anyway… Because if I'm all sure? He's going to screw us if we don't do something about it." Ollie stated before he sighed, rubbing at his eyes as he sighed, knowing that Maroon was going to screw them.
He always screwed the boy over when it came to something. he should have seen it coming, seen this bugging him and the others, but he didn't because he wasn't going to focus on their problems… He would focus on solving it.
Trivia shrugged and leaned into Ollie more, glancing around the room as she did so. She glared at Maroon and held up a pair of fingers at her as she turned her fingers back towards herself.
Ollie only rolled as of now. There was a focus on the mission as of now… And yet he knew he still had to save Trivia. They had to get out of Vale, this was just an excuse to do so before her father cracked down on the city. There was only so much time to do it.
He had yet to find out Trivia's possible goal. If there was time? he'd look into it. For now? well, he had a lot more on his plate for now.
"What is it you need us to even get from them? There's, not exactly a stockpile of stuff we can rip off the Crown, their notice you trying to pawn something off the rest of the crown in the process. I hope you know that." Ollie stated as Trivia nodded.
"Yesh, you two are too sickeningly sweet for one another, it comes off as you just wanting to suck face," Maroon stated as the two rolled their eyes. "There's a dust case on the wagon I need. It's got my symbol on it. If you get it off their ship? I'll give you a favor and a little more. I need that case or its curtains for me. I don't see it that way." Maroon stated before he sighed, looking around as he did.
There was no real way to have gotten to where he needed to have gotten. There was a how and a when to this and she knew it more than he.
Nothing was stopping her from this when this came down to it. There was a lot more to focus on as of now.
He hadn't the proper ideas before he questioned what to do next. There was a lot more to be done, something that hadn't the proper idea… There was something else before he came down to it.
"So, I'm guessing she likes it?" Maroon said as Trivia popped the blade out and started to inspect the weapon. "Easy, kid. That blade will cut through it." Maroon stated before he sighed.
Trivia grinned and wrapped an arm around Ollie before he shook his head and grinned at her, questioning what to do before long he sighed before he questioned what to do next. There was a moment of silence before she hugged him.
"Triv, relax, I'm not going anywhere," Ollie said as Trivia typed with her free hand.
"Want to fight… Have fun." Ollie heard as he looked at her, humming as he did so.
"Well, there's a very fine line between this and murder," Ollie stated before he questioned before he hummed, clicking his head sideways.
Both of them were gestured around the corner towards a Bullhead to which Ollie could only sigh. He didn't know before he questioned before he seemed to handle as of now. There was a lot more to ponder on the way there.
He tapped on the wing and ran his worn hands around it, looking back at Maroon with a sigh. He knew what he wanted to tell him, but he hadn't the idea of now what would happen, but there were a few more ideas on his mind, a lot more he didn't know how to respond to. If anything? This was something else? This seemed to be over for now.
"Ok, you expect me to get us there when I'm BLIND, Maroon? It isn't like I can fly; you know." Ollie stated before Trivia tapped his shoulder with a finger as she looked at the device.
"Oh, you're going to fly? Are you sure? These things don't exactly easy to fly and they don't come with an instruction manual, something dumb, dumb over there doesn't exactly seem to know." Ollie said as he frowned at Maroon only for him to roll his eyes.
"Hey, if I knew you'd be coming to me? I'd have had something ready on short notice. This isn't exactly rocket science and you know it. I don't want to hear you complain about it when this is all over with." Ollie heard as he sighed, rolling his eyes as he did so.
He didn't entirely know what to say, nor did he know what to question or what to handle before now. There was something else before now. He sighed before clicking his fingers and slowly starting to try and bored the idea before he clicked his teeth. as he seemed to question. He slowly tried to sit up before he sighed.
Ollie felt himself humming at the end of the sigh. He questioned at the moment before now. There was a lot more to say, to do, to have this over with now.
Yet? He focused on the positives, the ones which he could have done before he sighed now.
There was a lot more on the mind. It hadn't yet seemed to be beyond their understanding as they did so. He hadn't the mental idea how to have dealt with this, nor what would have come when it was all over. He yawned, yawning as he looked around.
Ollie could only sigh, uncertain of what she'd do in the air. It wasn't that hard to throw him off and onto the pavement where his face would mix with whatever had coated the floor and probably end with his face breaking if not at least his aura shattering as if it was all glass, all little glass on the wind.
She slowly climbed into the cabin as Ollie hummed and started to question at the end of the time. There was a second of clarity as he slowly slid the door closed, locking it behind him as he realized what was going upon for now. There was a heavy idea as to how this had to be executed and how he'd be able to pull it off for now. There was a lot more to focus upon as of now. There was a lot more to handle, a lot more to handle, something else dwelled over there
He sighed, rubbing at his temples while he turned in place, questioning Trivia as well as himself while he tilted his head, settling into the seat next to him. He questioned what to say before he hummed as he sighed to tilt his head as he smiled.
He hadn't the idea before now what the next move was. She started to question what to handle before he sighed, tilting his head, looking around before she sighed, unsure what to do next and how to have done it if anything.
She closed the hatch behind them as she seemed to look for what to do to start. She drummed her dainty little fingers upon the dashboard, questioning what the option would have been, how it would have been before now, and all that was over before now.
He hadn't yet seemed as of this foundation when it comes down to it. He hadn't yet seemed to handle before now as of the second before she sighed and as she tilted her head now. They had a trip to make.
"I'm going to going to guess that there's something else on the mind when this was all over with?" Maroon asked as Ollie rolled his eyes, looking around before he sighed to himself.
There was something else on the horizon and he knew it. he knew that there were greener pastures to have been had here sooner.
Still? if anything? He wasn't getting there soon enough. He wasn't, he still needed to have gotten where he had to go before now.
There was a lot more to have done before the day ended and he was able to focus on what he wanted… If anything? All he was doing was playing along, dancing to the toon he wanted properly fixed and handled.
Trivia settled into the seat and looked at ollie who simply tucked his arms into his clothing, sighing as he turned his head towards Maroon.
"Just make sure we don't die… Or else mom is going to end up having your head, Maroon," Ollie said before he turned to Trivia. "There's an autopilot feature if you get tired… These things are kinda made for long-term travel… And I doubt Maroon left in the fact that this thing isn't going to have the gas for a trip there and a trip back." Ollie stated that Maroon said nothing to which she could say.
She nodded and seemed to tap at the buttons as the craft left the ground. Ollie would have sighed if not for the fact he knew that Trivia was still a novice pilot. There was very little he could do to fix it; wasn't like he could see well enough to fly. His skills only seemed to grow more and more.
Maroon watched as he seemed to view the craft leave the ground, he could only smile as he slowly turned to walk away, turning only for a second back to look at the fleeting craft as he did so. There was only so much he could have done to properly ensure they got where they needed to go… But for him? He could try and work his magic.
"Alright, bud. Let's see if you and your brother can make the family name proud or if you're going to end up like uncle." Maroon said as he sighed, rolling his eyes as he did so.
Ollie didn't know what to do without the rest of their little family. He seemed to question what his little friend would do, but there was something else going on. if anything? He hadn't yet come to terms with what he was. There was a lot more to dwell upon, but this wasn't one of them, not yet anyway.
Nope, if anything? This mission was going to go well. They had the skills; they had their kinship. All the crap he didn't want or need for the second. He was tired, there was something else driving him, but he couldn't exactly let a little bother like that stop him. there was just enough for him not to freak out lest he question his sanity.
Besides. It wasn't like HE had to do anything to get what he wanted. He had them and he knew Ollie wouldn't fail. He was too good to have failed at such a little thing like that.
Ollie still sighed as he questioned what to have to do next. There was a lot more to have done before he sighed, questioning before this was all over with.
Trivia looked around before pressing a button. It wasn't the first time she had been before the proper idea as he seemed to hum open this, there was always more to have done, more to focus upon when it all came down to it. Yes, the only real idea that this had been properly fixated was something he couldn't exactly be for now. There was a lot more to dwell upon, yep, something that could only be solved by him. if something was that simple? He hadn't the proper idea for now… Well, he would have, but it would have simply all slowly choked downwards.
Trivia turned as she saw her: Neo.
The girl was sitting alongside Ollie as he seemed to question what to have done next. There was only so much more she could do, a lot more.
The girl leaned on Ollie, something he seemed to notice as he turned to look at her childhood friend. She didn't know if he could see her, Ollie did have damaged eyes, but he was appearing to look right at her.
The girl waved at Ollie before giving a thumbs up to Trivia. Something she could only nod at. Neo trusted Ollie, she could trust him. he was her friend; he was becoming the one that she needed. There was only the journey left. the adventure that awaited them. They could spend the adventure forever.
He simply seemed to grow more tired as he leaned against the hull of the ship. Not that surprising when this was all over. There was only too much on their mind before he sighed, questioning what to do next. There was a lot more to do when they got there.
"We aren't going to get going. There's a lot more to focus on before now." Ollie stated before he sighed as of now.
He hadn't questioned before now. There was a lot more to focus upon and upheave. They had a mission to do and both of them knew the price was a lot higher than it seemed.
Still? if they were something on the mind? Well, he couldn't exactly escape it so easily. They had a mission; it would be carried out and they had the proper tools to get it done.
"Hey, I'm going to get some sleep, you might want to either… Wake me up in an hour?" Ollie asked as he turned his attention to himself. "Or don't. I think you might want to sleep when it comes to it. There was a lot more to focus on before now." Ollie stated before he still questioned what to tell them.
There was a lot more to do. A lot more on the brain than what he had all lined up for them. Still? he couldn't tell what the man thought.
Ollie sighed, unsure of what to focus on now before he tilted his head before now. There was more on the line here. There was only so much he could converse with her about for now before he sighed, unsure of what to do next. He had a lot more to question and handle before he sighed to himself.
The sooner they got to Mistral? The sooner all their problems? Well, there was more to question at the focus as of now. There was a lot more as of now. There was a lot for now what to question before now… Oh so much.
Ollie sighed and leaned against the wall while slowly starting to fix the bandages that sat over his face. Trivia typed in the autopilot before he questioned what to do next. There was more before he sighed to himself. He hadn't yet questioned before now.
He still tilted his head before as of now. There was a lot more to focus on before now. He hadn't yet seemed to be questioned before now, there as of now. There was only too much to hope for as he seemed to focus upon for now. Still? He hadn't the proper focus upon it.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Ollie questioned before he sighed, tilting his head. "There's a long way before we get off to Mistral, I know it's a long way from home… I've only been there once with mom and she's busy." Ollie stated as he tilted before he sighed, pulling his hands to his knees.
"Triv?" Ollie questioned as he heard soft footsteps. "You going to stab me? Heh, I'm a lot more ready if you're going to be ok." Ollie stated before he slowly started to pull himself to his feet.
He sighed and slowly slid back down. He hadn't the proper idea before now of what she'd do, but if she wanted his head on a pike? He felt her lean down in front of him, making him tilt his head to notice her.
Her small arm gripped the bandages and slowly started to wrap them back up as he chuckled, smiling.
"Thanks, Triv," Ollie stated before he sighed and looked down at the ground. "I'd still get some sleep. We need to get going and the second we get there? Well, people are going to be a lot less nice than they were in Vale." Ollie said as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.
"Not tired." Trivia typed as Ollie shrugged.
"You will be when we're fighting off the pieces of trash in the Crown. They're a lot worse than the thugs we're fighting in Vale. They don't have any problem with slavery and something like this." Ollie said as he shrugged to himself.
"How about I sleep for an hour and then sleep? We both get a lot to do when we get there." Ollie suggested as Trivia looked around, unsure of what to say.
He cleared his throat, crossing his arms across his chest before speaking up once more. He sighed before he hummed to himself, there was a lot of tension and he wasn't to properly fix this, not just them, but everyone else. There was only so much he could throw at the problem to subdue it and he knew she also didn't know much of what was going to happen next either.
He yawned, rolling his arms as he did so. The exhaustion from before was slowly starting to pour in, he craved it. He slowly felt it start to seep over him, filling him with more and more of a need to sleep. He didn't at all know what was going to happen when he awoke, but he knew that he had to sleep sooner or later.
He felt a weight next to him as Trivia slowly sunk to the floor. He raised an eyebrow at the girl but said nothing and simply nuzzled into his clothes. If there was one damn thing, he wouldn't mind nicking from the Crown? It'd be a new change of clothes. That was at least something he could have said he wanted but to Maroon? Even the smallest of favors still meant he owed the man which only made him sigh, questioning what the hell He wanted for now when the dust settled.
Still? He felt Trivia lean into his side, nuzzling her head into his chest. He rolled his eyes and smiled while pulling one of the emergency blankets free of its casing and wrapping it over both of them.
"Sleep, Triv. I'm not throwing you out of the thing… And it isn't like we're going to be able to relax for now." Ollie said as he slowly closed his eyes, unsure of what to tell her.
"You, ok?" Trivia typed to which he said as he raised his eyebrow.
"Yep," Ollie said as he tugged the blanket over the girl. "What about you? You, ok? Not tired? I'm sorry if I've been dragging you around all day, nobody would want that." Ollie stated before he questioned next.
He had more to handle before he sighed to himself. There sighed to himself. He questioned what to do next. There was something else on the mind? He tilted his head while slowly starting to pass out before now.
Neo looked at the two as he smirked at her, he questioned what to have next. There was only so much he could have done at the second.
He hummed while he handled before he seemed to question before he seemed to focus before, he seemed to handle as of now. There was something else that was going to happen sooner or later.
There were too many problems on my mind. A lot more she couldn't exactly wait for this to be over.
Still? it made him laugh as he looked at her, she raised an eyebrow before he shrugged, too unsure of what may come next before now. He yawned, tilting his head back and forth as he did so.
He rolled his eyes and allowed her to look at him with a tilt of his head.
Ollie only seemed to question what to do next. There was a smile as he yawned, looking at her as she bobbed his nose as of the second. There was a yawn before he tilted his head before he hummed.
He slowly started to question what would her future be. There was something else for now. It wasn't going to be pretty, nor would it be fun. There was a lot more riding on this, but he didn't much care anymore. He didn't feel like it meant anything to him.
Still? if he was honest? He didn't mind, either way, there was a soothing peace on his mind, one which cut and hacked away as if his brain were a snake and it wanted to focus for now.
There was a lot more to question before he hummed now. He yet focused before now what to focus before as of now.
He wrapped his hands around Trivia's side, drawing her into his warmth. She snuggled up to him, laying her head on his chest to which he rolled his eyes. He closed his eyes and simply focused more on their journey, what was coming.
"You know we're going to have to have to kill them," Ollie said as she looked at him. "The crown soldiers. There won't be any other way besides fighting and using lethal force. They will not do anything less to us and I'm just going to warn you? I don't feel like holding back." Ollie stated before he cracked his fingers before he seemed to focus upon as of now.
Ollie sighed before he focused. He hummed while he sighed before questioning what else.
Ollie wasn't going to focus before now. He seemed to question what to do next. He hummed to handle as of the tilt of his mind. He questioned before she nodded at him.
There was a nod to him as she drew a smile across his face. Ollie simply sighed and realized he was stuck with someone who rather seemed to enjoy violence.
He'd be bothered before long if not for the fact that he honestly expected that. He expected her to have some hate in here. There was nothing he could do for that, but if nothing else? He'd be terrified, he wasn't going to let it all tear him down, nope. If he had to? He'd fight through this. In the end. He'd bring it all down to the idea for now. This hadn't yet seemed to be ok for now.
Well, he'd deal with that before he hummed, he still tilted his head at the second. He yawned, looking up at the roof. He hummed, questioning what to do next. He made himself too compared to this.
Trivia was focused more on the future. There was a tilt of his head, looking around before she questioned what else could have gone. Ollie looked up at the ceiling of the ship. He hummed to himself before he seemed to focus upon now.
He sighed, rubbing at his temples. There was a moment of silence, of insanity, but he couldn't exactly find the right words for now… Only that it was all pooling in his head. Yep, he had to help her, even if it ended up being for nothing? He felt like he had some obligation to do so even if he didn't feel like it. he couldn't just let her die, not now, not here. Nope, if he got that far? He could afford to carry it a little more and for a little longer for now. He sighed before he yawned, questioning what to do next.
He hummed, as of now. There was a lot more to focus on now. A lot more to do for the second. There was something else for now.
Ollie sighed as he looked at her, she had shining brown eyes which made her look up at him, he tapped on her nose. There was a second before she rolled her eyes.
He was all too amused at this. There was more here than he expected. He knew what was going to be something for now as now… it seemed as if nothing else was going to happen before now.
He was stuck with her.
"You going to be, ok?" Ollie asked as she signed another smile. "Good, I'm glad. I didn't want to have you shot or cut up before now. I don't want something bad for now." Ollie sighed before he questioned the time as of now.
Ollie only hummed, unsure of what to talk to her about. She seemed to bury her head. He was too unsure before now, but he was sure as of the time being. He tilted his head before he rolled his eyes and looked around before he tilted his head.
He said nothing. He knew that Ollie was tired, unsure of what to handle as of now. He hummed, rubbing up and down on his arms before he mentally racked his brain. He didn't sigh as he questioned what to do next.
"I'm kinda glad to understand that you're good, I'd be terrified if you want to do something weird." Ollie sighed as he did so.
He hummed and pondered if her father was going to be a problem for more people. It didn't so much bug him, but it did worry him to have someone so powerful and loaded be after them. He clicked his jaw and rubbed at him and sighed.
He was prepared for the worst. Always prepared for the worst, always questioning what the monsters were going to attack them with.
Yet? As he pondered how this was going? He felt her cling to his side, wrapping her dainty fingers around his chest and burying herself into it. A shudder of fear ran through her as if she was terrified.
Ollie wrapped his arms around her, letting her bury herself into his chest, sighing.
"Easy, it's ok, Triv," Ollie said as the girl nodded. "Hey, if I was going to hurt you? I would have, we're thousands of feet away from Vale and nobody would find us… I'm not doing a damn thing to you, ok? You're too… You, for me to do anything. You're breaking my heart." Ollie said as he sighed.
Trivia remained silent, not sure if she was sure, but willing to remain ok, willing to trust someone before now, unwilling to properly trust anyone… But part of her trusted him, she wanted someone who didn't look at her as a mistake, as a freak, as if she was horrible.
Yet? She didn't know if she could trust anyone at the time. She had nothing more to question before now. There was more here than she expected. She didn't know what to expect at all now.
She'd make sure that it was going to count. This was going to be something fun for now and she'd be cursed if it didn't all come down to it.
Trivia stiffened as if she was sleeping. She looked at Ollie who had fallen silent. She slowly dragged him towards the pilot's chair, ignoring the rest of the cabin and grabbing the blanket as she did so. She huffed in somewhat exhaustion at how her tiny frame could barely hold up his body which only made her sigh, looking around as she did so.
With a grunt which also sent her flying into the seat, Trivia plopped Ollie upon the cargo seat's control seat which was barely able to support one person. She sat upon his lap, draping the blanket over them both as she cozied up into the seat, looking at him as she started to ponder before now if he was really on her side. She wanted to believe more than anything that he was her friend, that she could trust them as of now. There was a lot more to question, but for one? She knew she could trust him; she knew that he was a good person deep down. She didn't know if she believed him, but she didn't know what else to feel.
If he was dangerous and had to be killed? Well, she'd do it, but part of her felt horrid trying to kill a friend who seemed as if there was more to focus upon for now. She didn't know what was coming… But she had her friend alongside her.
She was going to be happy, a lot happier than anyone else could have been. There was something else in the wind, cutting through everything and everyone around her. This hadn't the proper idea, but she could have done something to focus on for now. She didn't know what else was coming… Just that this was going to be fun, exciting.
It could be fun, something odd, something she could have understood more than he… But then again? She didn't know, she didn't want to know nor did she grasp it the way he wanted it to be.
She was odd, he was odd. They were all odd. She wanted to be odd but her parents kept trying to tear her down, rip her up. They wanted her to be something she wasn't and it ticked her off to no small end. It couldn't end the way she wished it would. It wouldn't end the way she wished it would. If anything? She'd be the one standing atop the shoals laughing at them. This was going to be her victory, her strut around the entire area as she questioned what could have been done better. They wanted a perfect daughter… Well? She was perfect, she was incredible in her way. If they weren't so… Unable to have seen it? She'd smile, all too happy to come home.
But they didn't. This was a weird little spot, something that we had to deal with for now. He had a lot more on his mind, he didn't know what to question next for now. He had more when it came down to it. There was more on the brain to have focused upon now. He didn't know was going to question as of the second. There was a lot more to focus upon before this all came to a head, it had to be a very certain way or it all would come crashing down, all too easily.
She leaned back, resting her head against his chest as she questioned how well this would have gone. It just didn't at all seem as if there was more to this than before.
She looked around before sighing, questioning what else was going to have been for now focused more on now. She didn't name what else was going to be something odd for now. He didn't know more about her, what to have expected as of the second.
Trivia hummed to himself while he tilted his head, there was a lot more upon which for now, too unsure of what to do next. He didn't know what else was going to be all too over soon for now.
He sighed, looking at her while he sighed, all too unsure of what to have done for now and whatever else could be done. He didn't know what else was going on for now. He didn't know what to tell her, but he did know that she was constantly being thrown off for now.
"I said sleep or else you're going to get tired and all that, it ain't like I can fight off an entire army," Ollie said as Trivia hummed. "Trust me, you're not going to have time to talk when it comes down to it, there's not a lot of nice people in Mistral and they will cut you up if push comes to shove, tryst me, they like hurting anyone they can get their damn hands on you… They're cut you up like a piece of steak." Ollie stated which wasn't at all a lie.
They wanted her and they'd sell her on the black market if they had a chance. There was nothing else he could do besides warn her before now.
He had a lot more to have focused on for now. He was too tired for now. He was too bored, too unsure of what to have focused upon for now. There was a lot more to question before he sighed. There was a lot more to question before now as of the second when it came down to it.
He sighed and pulled her to him, unsure of now. There was a lot more to have focused on as of now. This had been as of now. this had to focus more on to question as this ended. He didn't know how else this was going to hand for now.
He needed to end this sooner or later. He needed to have ended this for now and he didn't know how else to have done this. He didn't understand what else was going to have happened for now.
Trivia looked at him as his eyes seemed to dwell with power, with light as if he wasn't capable of such things. There was too much upon the mind, something that could have been used properly.
She cozied up to Ollie who had seemed to be more bored than anything. He was tired, far too tired as of now. He wasn't able to do much more than return the gesture.
She nuzzled her head into his shoulder as her pink hair framed her face. It made Ollie roll his eyes, unsure of what was to be done, how else this could have been done, how badly they needed to have done this… They needed to have been ready, they had to hit harder, faster, and strike the enemy again and again until all of it was ash and fire.
She yawned, a sound that would have probably gone unnoticed if not for the fact that Ollie's ears were a lot better than must, he knew what was going to happen when they got there now. He knew that this was probably going to be a long journey than before he sighed.
Ollie sighed and embraced her. She was so starved for someone who cared, who didn't judge her, who didn't see her as a freak that the first person who would rule her. She worried him, there was a lot more to have been focused upon, for example? They hadn't the food or rations for staying there… Ollie supposed he could steal some Lien off the Crown but the more they did that? The more the Crown would desire to see them dead and nothing else was going to have been tired, too unsure of himself… Yes, he had to keep moving, cutting through the water like a fish, like a shark. They would be ruthless, ruled by their ambitions, but he was tired, unsure of himself.
He was so worried, so unsure of what else was coming. This was a nightmare, what else was going to have been thrown at them? How terrifying an idea that this could have gone the way it did.
But if it did? He'd be prepared, he had faced worse hardships. He had faced such things, this didn't rule him, but it did make him tired, didn't divide him. His mind was still his and he'd be damned if something hurt him or his friends.
It still worried him, he was still scared, unsure of what else could have been done. This nightmare was sadly just beginning, and there was nothing he could have done to have fixed this.
He rubbed at his temples with his free arm, unsure, uncertain of what was going to have been done and how badly it was going to have gone by.
This was to focus upon for now. This was all going to be handled before now. he was not going to be able to relax. He wasn't going before now.
He was too prepared for the worst. Yep, this was going to be a weird and odd day when it came down to the question for now. He was exhausted, unsure of what may or may not for now. This was over.
Yet? He didn't know what was coming, unsure of what to question for now. he tilted his head before it came down to it. there was a lot more to have been over for now. This was a nightmare as of now.
"Tired." Trivia stated before Ollie rolled his eyes, humming as he did so. "Very tired, need sleep." Trivia added to which Ollie hummed before he questioned what else was to have focused upon.
"Oh, now you're tired? Doofus, you're going to get exhausted if you don't want to sleep… I told you to get some sleep when it came down to it." Trivia seemed to question before he hummed while it came down to it.
He rubbed at his tattered clothes, he felt the weather washing over him as he sighed, unsure of what to do next. This was a lot more to focus more and more on the mind… However?
He felt at peace with her next to him. He was curious as of now when this came down to it. He rubbed at his temples while he tilted his head.
He didn't see the world as she did. He didn't understand the complexities of her way, but he felt at peace here. He felt his strength hum and rush through the rest of his bones. He was prepared to lay down his life if he was upon this. There was a lot more to do as of now.
He rubbed before he questioned what to focus upon next. Neo was a lot more to handle while this was over. She was vulnerable and still making as he questioned what to do next.
He was tired, too worn down before he was bored… Then his mind turned back to the Maroon.
He cursed Maroon, too unsure of what to do next. Maroon had a thousand masks. A thousand different wounds before now had been lashed towards him as of now. Maroon was always like this; he was always pushing his problems upon the rest of them…. He didn't care, it was just part of business for them. He was a lot more unsure of the man or his intentions. The man terrified him. however? He felt he could deal with him for now, but that was something to question for the future after this crashed downwards upon them. He was quite unsure of what else was planned for them.
He leaned on the wall before he rubbed up his nose. He was too unsure of what to say to the man when he found him.
He sighed, a breath of fresh air tickling the nape of Trivia's neck. He didn't know if the man wanted them killed or if he wanted them safe and was simply waiting and biding his time. the man was smart, but he wasn't as bright as he claimed himself to have been.
No, this would have been over sometime soon, he didn't know what else was going to happen next. There was simply nothing else he could have done to them. This problem wouldn't be the end of them, but if Maroon pushed him again?
Well? He'd damn well make sure the man was beaten down, Maroon owed them and he was a friend, but he was going to have pushed his luck with them far too much for them to hang him out or not kill. The man was still a criminal and he didn't see any signs that this could have gone any other way, this was such a fun little distraction now.
Trivia let out a yawn, making him question what else would be done and how little he had to care about for now. she was worth dying for, but he didn't know much about her to have begun with it all over.
Where did she come from? She was vale, but he didn't know where besides the wealthy parts. Who trained her? For someone who was upper-class? She fought as if she was a trained Huntress who had years of skill, something he couldn't have fathomed her being unless she had lied.
Then again? He wasn't entirely truthful for now and it hurt him, but he couldn't let that hurt their bond. He wanted to be her friend, he didn't lie about that, nor did he lie about trusting her this was done.
He didn't know what else was going to have been focused on before he hummed and questioned before this came to it. he sighed, clicking his fingers when it was all over with. He didn't know what else was coming and how else when it came to it.
She hugged him, wondering if he'd abandon her. This nightmare wasn't over down the road, nor would it be easily over. She wasn't going to get hurt or killed anytime soon, he didn't know what else was going to hurt. He didn't quite have all the pieces. Well? If that was the case? He wasn't going to just bow out and let her die as she clung to him like a newborn babe. This was terrifying, but it was just more of a nightmare to have focused upon now. He'd be able to relax when it came down to it. This nightmare was something else, and it'd be something else for him to consider, yep, this night promised to have been something else.
He knew he'd have to fight harder, move faster, fight more than he had before, he was able to relax and he knew it. the only problem this had was just how badly it'd end just as badly, just as horribly.
He was worried about what the crown would do to Trivia if they got her, there was plenty of time for him to relax and find some peace in such little things. Which were honestly replaced with nightmares, terrors cutting across his mind, making him realize just how badly she could be in trouble if he didn't help her, didn't protect her, didn't save her. She'd be dead and it would be all his fault till the end of days… And that haunted him a lot more than he believed it should have.
Trivia's body went limp, finally falling to the temptation of sleep much to his chagrin. He couldn't get up from the pilot's chair now because of that and he knew the ship barely had any fuel left to get back. Maroon was planning to abandon them somewhere in Mistral.
The second he did that? Well, he was going down, he was honestly going down. This was going to be fun and he was going to enjoy it… A lot.
"We're going to die in Mistral, we are. We are going to die." Ollie said as he sighed, rolling his eyes into his head.
Author Note
