April 12 6 AM
Paul woke up and threw on a black tank top and black cargo pants and white high top gym shoes. He received a call from his fiancee Elizabeth.
"Hello sweetheart how's it going?" Paul asked
"Going well hon, are you ok?" Elizabeth asked with concern in her voice.
"Fine as always, how's the little one?" Paul asked
"Followed up with the doctor and she told me every is so far so good. The baby kicked a couple times yesterday" Elizabeth said enthusiastically.
"Wow, wish I was there for that" Paul said with a little excitement in his voice.
"Me too, can't wait until you come back" Elizabeth said.
"Don't worry Liz, I wont be long" Paul said.
"Hey Loreto, you gonna take all day?" MacDougall called out from the door way.
"Got to go sweetheart I'll call you tonight" Paul said.
"Ok Paulie love you and please be careful" Elizabeth said.
"Will do" Paul said.
Paul put his phone away and turned his attention to MacDougall.
"Exaclty how long have you been standing there? Paul asked a little annoyed.
"About 5 minutes" MacDougall retorted.
"You know its rude to barge in without knocking" Paul said.
"Well we were downstairs waiting for you so Wallace sent me to get you.
Paul threw on a black sweater over his tank top and headed downstairs.
"Well if it isn't sleeping beauty" Wallace said.
"For your information I was talking to my wife" Paul said.
Wallace opened a folder and pulled out a picture of an Asian looking man and place it on the table"
"This is Hong Dae Hyung, a former nuclear developer from North Korea. He works as Kandinsky's nuclear weapons developer. His faction operates throughout Western Russia" Wallace said.
"And where would he be exactly?" MacDougall asked.
"Sources say he owns several safehouses in and around the St. Petersburg area. We been given the Ok by authorities to raid them, the first one is in St. Petersburg not to far from Arakelian's place. So lets get suited up and head out" Wallace said.
April 12 8 AM
Hong's St. Petersburg Safehouse
MacDougall and Wallace staked out the place. The place was crawling with hostiles.
"Paul, Monique start getting ready were gonna go in hard" Wallace said.
Paul retrieved an M16 with a scope from the trunk of his Mustang. Monique retrieved her black AK-74 equipped with a laser sight and extended clip. MacDougall got his MP5.
"Wallace and I will go upfront, You and the lass cover us" MacDougall said.
MacDougall picked off the first two guards at the entrance, Wallace shot a guard coming down the stairs. MacDougall picked off 3 more soldiers that came running from the back of the safehouse.
"Wallace you and me will head up the stairs, Paul and Monique you clear this floor" MacDougall ordered.
Wallace and MacDougall headed up the stairs, the upstairs contained 2 rooms. MacDougall pulled out his Colt m1911and kicked the door in. A guard reached for his gun but was quickly dispatched by MacDougall with a shot to the head.
"Clear!" MacDougall shouted.
"Clear also!" Wallace shouted.
The Rooms upstairs contained several computers and money. Downstairs Paul and Monique walked down the hallway to what seemed like a kitchen.
"Alright call Martinov and let him know we secured the place" Wallace said.
About 40 minutes later Martinov and several agents arrived.
"Great job Lieutenant, my men will seize all the computers and equipment, we'll let you know when we find something" Martinov said.
"Next place is a warehouse containing several samples of nuclear material , its about an hour from here, once we clear the warehouse a Hazmat team will move in and seize the samples." Wallace said.
"Don't like the idea of being around that toxic shit" Paul said.
"I second that" Monique said.
"Don't worry Hong's guys are not that stupid to leave it laying around" Wallace said.
The team got in their cars and rode off.
The crew arrived to the location and scoped it out.
"We can hit them quietly or go in guns blazing your call MacDougall" Wallace said.
"Let's go in blazing" MacDougall, said pulling out his MP5.
"Of course you would go in guns blazing, why wouldn't you" Monique said rolling her eyes.
Monique, Wallace and Paul armed themselves with scoped M16s. MacDougall knocked on the door of the warehouse.
"MacDougall what the fuck are you doing?" Wallace asked
"Just wait, Roman, you'll see" MacDougall responded with a slight smirk.
A guard opened the door.
"Yes how can I hel-" The guard was immediately knocked out with a quick punch from MacDougall.
"Oh my God why?" Monique said annoyed. MacDougall quickly picked up the guards Makarov pistol.
"Another one to my collection" MacDougall said.
MacDougall and Paul quickly shot 2 guards and took cover as more came running out.
"PUT DOWN YOUR WEAPONS NOW!" One guard said in a thick Russian accent.
"They have us pinned, Paul, Wallace try to flank around without being seen. Monique throw a flashbang" MacDougall said.
Monique quickly threw a flashbang stunning several guards as Paul and Wallace, flanked around some crates and shot 5 guards that were stunned. MacDougall fired off his MP5 killing multiple guards that came running from the what looked like an office area. After clearing out the warehouse area the crew made their way to the office that looked like it had multiple labs.
"There's four of us and four labs, Paul and Wallace, you take the two and the right, me and Ms Lapointe, will take the other two" MacDougall said.
MacDougall and Monique searched the lab but found nothing out of the ordinary, they moved on to the second one, and found a computer that had Hong logged in. MacDougall checked through his email with one that said he was heading to his apartment in St. Petersburg. MacDougall used his camera to take pictures of the evidence.
Paul and Wallace decided to split up and search the other 2 labs. Paul opened the door to the lab and noticed the light was off, as he turned around to look for the switch a hiding guard caught him off guard pistol whipping him in the head. Paul fell to the ground the guard raised his pistol before being shot in the head by Wallace.
"Oh man, thank you I really thought I was done there for a moment" Paul said slightly shook.
"Looks like I got here just in time. I found the samples, hazmat team is on the way" Paul said.
The crew regrouped outside where MacDougall told Martinov about the emails he found.
"Thank you, we sent police to arrest Hong, he'll be taken back to the safehouse where we can interrogate him" Martinov said.
"No problem, we'll see you there" Wallace said.
The crew headed back to the safehouse with their mission complete, or so they thought.
