Metal Sonic has a muzzle, shoulder plates, upper arms, legs, and fingers made out of silvery metal. His palms are black, while the backs of his hands are square yellow plates. His forearms and lower legs are blue metal like his head and torso, and he has red feet with white stripes designed to resemble Sonic's shoes. He has optic sensors with black sclera and red irises./p

She has a lighter shaded underbelly, and a long tail, featuring darker pink spots. Her eyes are glowing yellow with black thin pupils when looked closely./p
pShe wears Newtopian-issued armor, made of silver, including two pauldrons patterned with intricate swirling designs, similar to the rest of her armor. He also has blue eyes, large triangular ears with white canals on top of his head, a small black nose, and three locks of hair on his forehead. In his younger years, Tails was shorter and more plump, with black eyes and darker orange fur, but these traits have disappeared with age. Amy is a pink-furred anthropomorphic hedgehog with light green eyes and peach skin covering her muzzle, inner ears, and arms. She has a small black nose, triangular ears on top of her head, and no back spines. She also has two medium-length eyelashes on each side of her eyes. Additionally, her five short head quills point downwards, somewhat resembling a bob cut. She also has three spikes for bangs on her head, and a short tail./p

He has red eyes, a patch of white fur on his chest, a tan muzzle, and tan ear canals. He also has six quills on his head, four of which curve upwards and two that curve downwards, two spines on his back, and a small tail. He also has red stripes on his head quills, around the edges of his eyes, and on his arms and legs./p
pFor attire, Shadow wears white gloves with black cuffs and red tongues, and Air Shoes which, like his gloves, have black cuffs and red tongues. Shadow also wears Inhibitor Rings, one each on of his wrists and ankles./p
pFollowing the Black Arms incident, the red paint on the front of Shadow's Air Shoes has been scratched off, and his eyes have become more red-orange in color./p
pIn the Sonic Riders series, Shadow wears green sunglasses on his head and shoes similar to his Air Shoes./p

He now wears both his tinted glasses and green-lensed goggles as headwear, though his mustache retains its length, density and mass. Gone are the cape and his suit-like clothes, in their place an elegant, red coat sporting two square metal buttons on both sides of the chest in gold. These buttons have white straps that run across the coat's sides to identical buttons on the back. The coat also has silver, zipper-like linings down the back, arms and front, yellow cuffs, and two extensions on the front that have large silver buttons. In addition, Eggman also wears white, cuffless gloves on his hands and a pair of black pants with matching boots seemingly attached to them bearing circular plates on the both sides of the ankles and three square ones riding up the shin./p
