Jump and Exploding Through the Finish Line!
"Wow, those two are fast!" Mina surprised to see Blake and Tsuyu coming all out on this.
"That means we just have to work harder." Weiss jumped using her white Glyphs to make air platforms to get over the Fall.
"Damn it, now that just showing off!" Mina shouted in frustration.
"Yeah, the Ice Queen likes to do that sometime." Yang shrugged.
"Yes, finally, this is my chance to show off what I can do!" A girl chuckled getting the others' attention.
"My support items are gonna steal the spotlight from these wannabe heroes." The girl excited.
"Everyone, observe what my brilliant gadgets can do!" The girl shouted of excitement.
"Whoa! You're covered in those awesome looking gears!" Ruby admired the gears that girl is wearing.
"That's right, I, Mei Hatsume, have got the gadgets for the right situation such as this!" Mei grinned.
Mei is a reasonably short girl with quite a mature build. She has salmon pink hair, which is generally shoulder-length, although it does vary, which is styled into thick dreadlocks and side-swept to her right. Her eyes are covered by red and gold steampunk goggles. She wears the regular U.A. gym uniform, but she also adds some of her own gadgets onto it, including utility belt to hold the various tools, oversized speed-assisting boots, and what could possibly be a jet pack strung over her shoulders. Breasts sizes: GG-cup.
"I got wire arrows and hover soles!" Mei bragged.
"That is so cool!" Ruby squealed.
"Wait, you're from the Support Course." Ochaco realized.
"Hey! How come you got to bring all that stuff?" Mina asked.
"Yeah, I thought this was gonna be about getting physical with the course." Yang said.
"Students in the hero course get all kinds of combat training for their Quirks. In order to keep things fair and give us a fighting chance, we're allowed to bring whatever gadgets and costumes we want into the games, so long as we developed then ourselves." Mei explained.
"She's right." Izuku said running up to them. "It's been that way from the past UA Sports Festival too."
"Yup, so sit back and enjoy the show!" Mei fired one wire arrow at one of the rock pillars.
"For those of us in the Support Course, this is the perfect obstacle to show off our ingenious ideas and creations to any companies out there who might wanna recruit us!" Mei bragged as she floats a little from her hover soles and pulls in from the wire as she jumped.
"I hope employers are watching! My super-cute little babies are sure to make a splash!" Mei excitingly laughed.
"Wow, that is the coolest thing ever!" Ruby complimented.
"More like annoying." Mina said.
"Yeah, but at least Ruby is more innocent when it comes to gadgets." Yang stated earning a "Hey!" from her little sister.
"I won't lose!" Ochaco determined to get through this.
"That girl certainly love gears and gadgets, but I can't fall behind either!" Izuku jumped as far as he can go and grabbed onto the rope to start crawling to one rock pillar.
(With Present Mic and Aizawa)
"In the world of heroes, it's hard to get popular without a flashy Quirk. Right, Eraser Head?" Present Mic asked his co-announcer.
"I don't know what you're talking about, idiot." Aizawa ticked off, clearly feeling a little touchy on the subject.
(Back to the Obstacle Race)
Shoto is shown be sliding through the ropes using his ice on his feet and close to the stairway to the third obstacle course.
"Looks like Todoroki is still skating by easily." Present Mic commented.
Shoto turns around seeing not only Katsuki flying over the Fall with his exploding Quirk, but also Weiss with her Glyph Quirk.
"(Looks like Bakugo isn't the only one getting fired up. Should be interesting for me.)" Shoto thought as he kept running.
Tenya managed to get onto another rocky pillar while watching the three leads going ahead.
"My older brother's probably watching this. I can't let him see me look foolish, I've got this!" Tenya jumped onto a rope and slide through using his Engine Quirk while in a foolish-looking pose.
"Hi, Tenya!" Ruby greeted while speedy past him on another rope.
Everyone is complimenting on how well Shoto is doing being in the lead through almost the obstacle course and some even know that his father is the Flame Hero: Endeavor.
"The leaders are putting some distance between him, and the students stuck at The Fall! It hasn't been announced how many competitors will next it through to the next round, so there's no time to relax." Present Mic said.
"I have to move faster!" Izuku grunted as he got on another rope arriving at the staircase.
Then he accidentally bumps into Yang with his face pressed onto her breasts causing him to gasp and blushing like crazy.
"IMSOSORRYIDIDNTMEANTO?!" Izuku quickly apologized.
"Dude, it's fine, you were in a hurry to get through this like everyone else. We're cool." Yang assured and leaned close to Izuku's ear.
"Although, I wouldn't mind getting to know you up close and personally." Yang whispered causing Izuku to blush again.
Shoto has made his way to the third and final obstacle course with a big say that says "Danger Mines" with a red skull in the middle as he stops.
"And now, we're finally approaching the last obstacle. Everyone had better tread carefully, you're stepping onto a minefield!" Present Mic announced crazy as Shoto sees the giant field.
"If you look carefully, you can see where those little bombs are buried, so keep your eyes on the ground, folks." Present advised.
"By the way, those land mines were designed for the games, so they might be loud and flashy, but they're not all that powerful… Just enough to make you wet your pants!" Present Mic warned in a freaking out tone.
"Get a hold of yourself." Aizawa sighed.
"Damn, that icy guy is already there. He does not waste time." Yang commented as Izuku agrees.
"Hey Izuku, why are you carrying that piece of metal around?" Yang asked.
"Just in case, you never know what you'll need." Izuku answered and the two made it to the minefield.
They can see most of the students are having a hard time getting through as they have to walk slowly to not step on a bomb though some are struggling to do that.
"Well, might as well get Yanging!" Yang said before moving ahead.
Yang jumps a little far landing on the spots where the bombs aren't buried then she stepped on one causing a big pink smoke explosion, but she didn't budge from it as she was protected by her aura.
"Ha, these things got nothing to move this dragon." Yang smirked.
"Does Yang even remember we're suppose to keep our Aura a secret." Blake whispered to herself.
"(Very clever, those in the lead are actually at a disadvantage here. Guess it makes for good entertainment.)" Shoto thought walked slowly through the minefield.
Katsuki flew over the bombs with his explosions fast and straight next Shoto much to his surprise.
"Bastard! Your declaration of war was to the wrong person!" Katsuki shouted and threw an exploding left hook which Shoto was forced to dodge.
"Just like, a new student takes the lead! The media here is going crazy! There's nothing they love more than an upset!" Present Mic excited.
With the other students, they are slowly catching up to the two leaders using their skills and Quirks to get through the minefield.
"Hey, hey, hey, the rest of the competitors are catching up and what's this?" Present Mic surprised of seeing Katsuki and Shoto going into a little close combat.
"Can our two leaders fight each other and stay in front of the competition?" Present Mic asked.
"I think they're about to be a third leader." Aizawa said.
Weiss is watching Katsuki and Shoto fighting each other while trying to get through the minefield which she believes is a good opportunity to slip by them, but Katsuki quickly saw this and unleash an explosion that blocks her path.
"Don't think you're getting anywhere than behind me, Ice Queen Bitch!" Katsuki stated growling.
"Damn, and I thought you would be stupid enough to not notice." Weiss surprised that Katsuki was able to react like that.
Meanwhile with Izuku, he barely got through the start of the minefield but the reason for that is not because he was slow of being careful with the bombs, it's because he plans as he's been gathering up the bombs using the metal piece, he kept from the robot obstacle. He knew this is risky and a bit dangerous, but he also believes this plan will work to get through the entire obstacle course and win the race for himself.
"Thanks for the idea, Kacchan." Izuku held the metal piece in front and then jumps right onto the piles of bombs he managed to gather.
"Super-Explosive Turbo Speed!" The bombs exploded from Izuku and the metal piece landing on them creating a giant pink explosion which got everyone's attention even the leaders.
"What's with that huge explosion in the back?! That was WAY more powerful than it should be!" Present Mic gasped.
And they can see Izuku riding on the metal piece as they are shocked of how he managed to cause something like this.
"Midoriya?" Tenya surprised.
"Ribbit, ribbit!" Tsuyu shocked and amazed of Izuku at the same time.
"THAT WAS THE COOLEST THING EVER!" Ruby cheered.
"What the heck? How'd he pulled something like that off?" Itsuka asked confused.
Itsuka is a girl of medium height and has a slim build. She has teal eyes and long orange hair that she typically wears tied into a high ponytail on the left side of her head. Her bangs are split into three clumps around her eyes, and some of her hair sticks up in large tufts at the top of her head. She wears the standard UA gym uniform. Breasts sizes: E-cup
"Incredible! I don't know what just happened, whatever the case, Class 1-A's Izuku Midoriya is suddenly in hot pursuit of first place!" Present Mic surprised of this.
"Oh yeah, go Izuku!" Yang cheered excitingly even though Izuku is ahead of her now.
"Okay, I did not see that coming." Blake admitted.
Then Izuku flew so fast and flying right above Weiss, Shoto, and Katsuki as they are surprised seeing the dark green hair boy getting past them too.
"Strike that! The lead is his!" Present Mic excitedly screamed as the crowd roars of excitement of the unexpected.
"I swear, he's even crazier than Ruby!" Weiss exclaimed.
"(I flew over them just like I planned, but the there was more force than I expected! And… I didn't think about how I was gonna land!)" Izuku thought worried as he is slowly falling towards the rest of the minefield.
"Deku!" Katsuki screamed as he explodes his way to Izuku.
"What the Hell do you think you're doing, huh?" Katsuki angered.
"Damn, no choice!" Weiss created her black glyph to launch herself fast like a rocket hoping to catch up to Izuku and take the lead back.
Shoto has decided to use his Ice Quirk to make small yet steady path through the minefield.
"(This ice path will end up helping the others, but there's no time to worry about them!)" Shoto thought running as fast as he can to catch up to Izuku.
"Look at that plot twist! Those three aren't fighting anymore, they're chasing Midoriya! That's what having a common enemy will do in this competition! This fight is still far from over though!" Present Mic excited to see how this race will end.
(With Toshinori)
The number one hero in his true weaken form, sitting with the other teachers while watching the race, is clutching his fists feeling excited that Izuku has gotten the lead now and hope he can continue doing what he does best.
"(Anything can happen.)" Toshinori thought.
(Back with Izuku)
Izuku is still in the air riding the metal piece, but now that ride may just about to end as he is slowly coming off.
"(Oh no, I'm losing speed. This is bad, they'll get ahead of me again.)" Izuku thought feared as he can see three gaining on him.
"Nothing personal, but this race is mine!" Weiss determined to win this.
"In your dreams!" Katsuki screamed in rage again as Shoto ran close to them.
"(If I don't time this landing right, there's no way I'll be able to keep the lead.)" Izuku thought as everything feels like it's slowing down with three getting very close to him.
"(I just… have to hold on and keep going. I have a chance here; I have to reach out and take it!)" Izuku thought quickly as the three have slowly gotten past him.
"(The only way to stay ahead is to take another leap. I have to take them out of the running!)" Izuku thought grabbed the wire of the metal piece as he flips himself forward.
"(I can show the world who I am! That I am here!)" Izuku thought and slammed the metal piece onto the ground which hit more than a few bombs.
This causes them to explode blowing Shoto, Katsuki, and Weiss to stumble back while Izuku is moving ahead again using the explosion as a booster and starts running when after his landing.
"In a stunning move, Midoriya has blasted past his classmates from 1-A!" Present Mic announced and shock to see this.
"I don't believe it—he cleared that minefield in an instant!" Present Mic gasped.
"(And now, to try out my new mode!)" Izuku thought determined to win this race no matter the cause of his own.
"Huh, use it on my whole body?"
(Flashback)
Izuku is talking with RWBY about how he can use his Quirk more effectively and not hurting himself.
"Yeah, just channel One for All at 5% throughout your whole body like how I do with my Semblance." Yang activated her Semblance in an instant.
"Let it flow natural, coursing in your very being." Blake advised.
"You also have to make imagine it like you've done it before even if it's just a little." Weiss added.
"Once you get the hang of that, everything is smooth sailing from here." Ruby smiled.
(Flashback End)
"(Girls, thank you for all you have done for me during our training week.)" Izuku mentally thanked team RWBY as his body starts to glow of little green electric sparks around himself along with his veins glowing for a little moment.
"One for All: Full Cowling!" Izuku speeded up and ran faster than ever before.
"Whoa, now what we're seeing is Izuku finally using his Quirk but different than what we expected!" Present Mic surprised.
"Eraser Head, your students are amazing! What the heck are you teaching them?!" Present Mic asked.
(With Aizawa and Present Mic)
"This has nothing to do with me." Aizawa said as he watches his students on the screen in the stadium.
"Each of them is powered by their own drive to succeed." Aizawa stated.
"There you have it, Eraser Head is a terrible teacher!" Present Mic commented.
"I'm what?" Aizawa glared.
"Who would have imagined that at the beginning of the race that the climax would be a non-stop mega-mix of surprises!" Present Mic said exciting.
Two male teachers and the audiences with most on the edge of their seats are keeping their eyes at the finish line waiting to see who will come out first.
"The first to make it back into the stadium is the first-place winner!" Present Mic said.
And the one got first place and winning the obstacle course race is… Izuku Midoriya.
"Izuku Midoriya is our champion!" Present Mic declared and the crowd cheers wildly.
Others who are watching the UA Sports Festival from their home and the TV on, are excited to see Izuku coming in first place including Izuku's mom, Inko Midoriya, and few of the Pro Heroes who have met him were surprised to him doing great and made his way to UA too.
Izuku is panting feeling his body a little exhausted from running so much and having to use his Full Cowling to finish it, but he won and look up seeing Toshinori clapping his hands with a big smile.
Izuku clutches his fist knowing that he has let the world know that he is here, and he is going to keep showing everyone what he can do.
"(Yes, my time has come!)" Izuku thought grinned.

The obstacle course sure was a wild run for everyone getting through the robots, the giant pit fall, and the big minefield as most have to struggle through, yet Izuku was able to pull off a crazy plan that got him first place and even use his Full Cowling to make sure he gets it. But there'll be not time to rest as he and the rest of the UA students will have to be ready for the second event of the UA Sports Festival.
