Arthropod Faunus and Mobians

While faunus and Mobians come in all shapes and sizes, in terms of 'species' they are usually of the mammalian type to avian on the surface. Where in underwater locations they are species belonging to the city. Yet despite the many types of faunus and Mobians out in the world, it is fact that Arthropod species of both races are relatively low in the population. More so if they are capable of producing their own venom, such as the spider and scorpion types.

Scientists suggest that the reason the population size of arthropods is because most faunus and mobians mainly 'mate' with their own species, while those like scorpions and similar kin don't thus making the birth rate rather low. It's been reported that if something doesn't change soon, eventually such 'types' among the faunus and mobians will eventually disappear from existence.

An utter defeat it was.

Never in their entire lives, sans certain moments, had they been defeated so quickly. Overpowered in seconds than what they were used to back home. All by one single man. To say the mood of those involved was upset is an understatement. Still, there did happen to be some good news.

"And done." Watts smirked. "Mr Bullets credit card funds have just been donated to us alongside a copy of all information on his scro-er-I mean phone." The doctor then dropped the phone and crushed it under his foot. Just in case there was a GPS Tracker on it. Although he did take out the SD card in it just in case, and downloaded the pictures in the gallery onto his scroll. A decent enough consolation prize if he said so himself.

"Damn bastard."

"Touched our Goddess. Make him pay!"

Though it seems Cinder and Tyrian respectively weren't getting over the fight. Though for once Watts didn't blame them, considering he had his own grievance against the man in that battle. The humiliation. The quick defeat. The absurd power he showed which was clearly abnormal. Only Salem actually did any real damage, and won despite having so little information on him. She may have gotten punched and thrown to the trees, but in the end she trumped the man where he and the others were treated like rag dolls to be thrown around.

'And even then the fact he punched her shows what a threat he was.' It made Watts and no doubt the others upset at how one man beat them so soundly. While it won't make him feel better, a small part of Watts definitely felt happy when he hacked the man's phone and may have sent a little virus to all contacts the man's phone was connected to. Oh, he also cancelled his upcoming vacation that was a month from now.

How evil is that?

As for Salem, her thoughts were also on the same topic as her inner circle. As they walked, she reviewed the battle that had happened with the hero Living Bullet. From there, she simulated what would happen if she or her allies acted differently. What they could have done to prevent their rapid loss.

There was nothing she could think of at all.

'That man wasn't normal. Not in the usual sense.' His abilities broke the realm of common knowledge. Semblances vary, and she has seen some which could be considered grand in their own right. Yet none she remembered could allow a person to go faster than the speed of sound while making tornadoes. The closest she could think of is Ozpin, and even he wasn't that fast.

'Thankfully it seems my knowledge from beforehand aided.' Salem never expected to face a member of the Justice Friends at all. Meaning it had been a good thing she had researched and saw those videos, even if only to pass the time. Otherwise if she didn't see the information on Living Bullet and gotten the hint of his weakness, she is uncertain of what would have happened after. 'The only bright side is that he doesn't seem to know my full powers, probably why I sensed the hesitation in him.' Meaning he had been holding back.

Not by too much obviously, but enough to allow Salem to misguide him combined with his hesitation to assault his senses with the Beowolf and knock him out. Not to mention the little 'gift' she left him for later. It wasn't anything that would harm him though nor any person he met. Instead, it was a way to gather information.

As Salem and the others prepared to leave, subtly Salem pointed her finger at the ground where crawling out of it a small Beetle Grimm came out. It then went toward the hero and entered through his mask thanks to the hole and stayed hidden.

A little spy that is connected to Salem and will send her information. Such as the hero already getting up, which is amazing. Salem prepared for that though, and before she left the village had the Grimm nearby attack it again where the hero had the choice of either hunting them down or saving the people. It was obvious what the choice was, even before the Beetle sent the message. After all, heroes were so obvious in the decisions they'd make.

'Not that it means this will be easy later on.' After all, while he had been one man, it's fact he defeated her other members so easily. Even if they trained, it's likely said training will only make them last just a few seconds longer. To put it in a way others would understand, it should be said like this:

Imagine Salem herself facing Ozma or a trained man.

Against Ozma, the battle would be tough and long. The man may have given up his magic, yet he had top-tier skills and reflexes and knew Salem quite well. While he would ultimately die, it'd still take awhile for Salem to kill the man. Then we have this ordinary warrior.

The man trained everyday, while not the world's greatest warrior, he wasn't weak either. Good decision skills, top body condition and what not. He'd die in less than a minute. Because for all his skill and power, he wouldn't know Sale's powers, and even if he did sometimes skill couldn't trump someone who had power greater than even them. That is the situation with Living Bullet. He's a person who had greater power than her inner member, as such their skills could only hold him back before the inedible came for them.

Something had to be done to change that.

'But that will have to wait until we get to our new base.' Living Bullet delayed the, but didn't stop them. Thanks to her foresight, she already had her Grimm take any supplies ahead of the now awake Bandits who were confused how they got from a wrecked village to the trees. Bandit Princess will have to come up with an excuse for that, but otherwise things are now fine. Well, except for one thing.

'Got you.' Far away suddenly a controlled Nevermore she had attacked a Seer Grimm that had been following them for quite some time. The dog sized Nevermore pinning the Seer to the ground and instantly killing it with a beak attack. She didn't notice it during the battle because she was focused on not losing, yet soon after she felt the same presence.

She didn't know what or who was watching her, but she'd rather not let this strange interloper continue doing so. Granted, she'll probably feel that presence again later, just hopefully they won't do it anytime soon.

Just how wrong she is.

"So it seems you got caught again." Moloch gave a slight chuckle. "Not even the other Fallen can detect Grimm controlled by you. I wonder if it's because she's from another world."

"Possibly." Sammael says while walking down a corridor with Moloch by his side. Not looking to upset the Seer-the more expendable ones-had been killed. "While most people who enter our world don't seem different, it's easy to forget that their world may have different rules compared to ours. Like the Digimon creatures who come from a digital realm and yet are now physical."

"True." Moloch shrugs. "If anything, I suppose we're lucky Van Kleiss hasn't done anything idiotic to mess with our dimensions reality with all that kidnapping he's done. Though I suppose sooner or later the kidnapped may be soon followed by those noticing their disappearance."

"That is another problem for another time." Sammael smiled. "In the meantime, we must get ready for the battle to find Heart. And of course our new guest." The two were soon in front of a door which they then opened, where none other than Katz is there waiting already. Sammael had called for an audience with him earlier, and the Mobian was closest to the designated room where he then saw Sammael and Moloch enter.

"I see you're here." The Mobian then crossed his arms. "So, what's the situation. Espionage. Fighting. Killing."

"Spying for now." Sammael told him before summoning a Seer. There it then showed a group that Katz didn't recognize fighting Living Bullet. "These five to be specific."

"Don't see the point." Katz then looked at Sammael. "Shouldn't they be in jail after fighting that guy."

"Actually, no." The scene then showed a woman that made Katz look in surprise. A Fallen, shocking the bastard with electricity before he fell on the ground unconscious. "As you can see, while outmatched, they won."

"What in, is that a new Fallen?" Katz then looked at Sammael. "Cause I don't recall seeing her around here like the others."

"You could say she's a new addition." Sammael tells him. "And while her group nearly lost, it seems the tide was turned against Living Bullet when the Fallen used one of his few weaknesses." It then revealed a Beowolf shrieking and the hero himself falling on his knees while putting his hands on his ears while visibly shaking. "Its funny how so many villains and crooks who faced him, never seemed to realize that his own heightened senses could be turned against him."

"And did she kill him?" Katz asked.

"No." Moloch explains. "While a waste, it seems she isn't stupid and realized what would happen if she did kill him, she'd only get the heroes attention on her...and us."

"Wait, what? Why us?" Not like they were involved.

"Because she is a Fallen." Sammael tells him. "I'll say now that currently she and her group have no affiliation with us. However, do the heroes know that?" Katz then began understanding what he meant. The implications of it all. "That's right," Sammael knew what Katz was thinking. "While they're grudge will be against that woman, they'll also assume since she's a Fallen, she was acting on my command. And the last thing I need is righteous fury and turbulent emotions to mess with my predicted plans."

Emotional heroes were not just vulnerable, but also unpredictable in some ways. Had the woman tried to kill him, Sammael would have gotten involved then and there. Thus why it pleased him when the women, even if for her own reasons, decided not to kill him.

"Tch." Katz then clicked his tongue. "And what reason do I need to watch over some Fallen and her cronies? Isn't that battle with Van Kleiss coming up, I'd rather go there than this mess."

"Ah yes, you do have your reasons." It was then Sammael calmly put his hands on Katz who then flinched, as for a brief moment Sammael's eyes glowed. "Which is why I'm ordering you to do this. Don't be mistaken, you will join that fight. However, this comes first. Understood." It wasn't a question.

"Of...of course." Katz nodded before taking a step back and bowing. "I'll get to it right away."

"Excellent." Sammael then turns and begins to leave. "Don't worry, you don't have to watch them for long. If anything, just spy on them for a bit and then do as you please."

"Do as I please?" Katz says confusingly. Then his eyes widened and a smile came on his expression. "...Anything I please?"

"Sure." Sammael says as he soon exits the room. "Talk to them. Give them advice. Killing them. All your choice." Soon the two Fallen left Katz alone in the room with Sammael saying one last thing. "It's all up to you."

As they were gone, a sadistic smile came onto Katz's face.

"I'm surprised." Moloch then speaks up as the two were walking back in the corridor. "Here I thought you were interested in them."

"Oh I am." Sammael tells him.

"Then why do this?"

"To see what they're potential is." The ruler of the Fallen gives his reasonings. "With the exception of the woman, I want to see just how strong the other four are, her little group. Not Bandit Princess, who we already know. But the skills and abilities that can be seen. Katz is a strong adversary, but he's no Living Bullet. Meaning he will be the one to show me the potential those four have. If they have any."

"I suppose the battle will be entertaining." Moloch mused.

"I'm sure it will. But I'd still rather keep an eye on them somehow, if only to see their progress." The question is how though. The woman showed herself to notice his control more easily than expected. So using any Grimm to spy on won't work unless it's with the other four, yet he wanted all five. So how to keep an eye on them. All of them.

An idea then came to mind. One that pleased Sammael. "Moloch."

"Yes."

"Tell me, you still have some of those children in your garden, the Black Maw, correct?"

"And I lost them soon after." Living Bullet told Sebben what happened. "I'm sorry. Not just for losing, but losing track of them."

"Do not apologize." Sebben told his friend. "You shouldn't feel ashamed for saving those people instead of tracking them. While I have no doubt that was this Fallen's plan, saving the people comes first."

"Of course." Living Bullet then looked a bit sheepish as he scratched the top of his helmet. "Still annoys me though I lost because of a loud noise. I had her on the ropes, then suddenly I'm out."

Ah yes. Living Bullet did report the battle after helping the people, including how he reacted and of course his loss. One part of the report caught Sebben's eyes when it was sent to him. "And are you certain they're involved with Sammael?"

"Definitely." Living Bullet told him. "I heard one of the men said 'him', and while I know that isn't saying much, no way Sammael won't work with another Fallen." Sebben supposed that was true. Even if this new Fallen isn't from this world, Sammael certainly wouldn't ignore a new ally to the dwindling Fallen on this world. As powerful as each of them were, they were still few in number. Having an additional one would be a boon for them.

"I suppose for now you should come back. We must prepare for the battle with Van Kleiss. We'll investigate the woman and her cohorts another time." A holographic map is then shown on his desk. "And besides, thanks to your information we now know where they are going. The Wilds."

"I still find that insane.' Living Bullet comments. 'Aside from maybe the Fallen woman, it's suicide for the rest to go there. That place is so bad, even high-tier criminals don't attempt to make a base. What can this woman do that they can't?"

"If she's working for Sammael, it may be anything." Sebben tells the fastest man alive. "Plus, we don't actually know her abilities. If anything, if she's aided by Sammael, then it's no wonder she knew one of your weaknesses. Meanwhile, you knew nothing of her own power."

"I...can't deny that." Living Bullet rubbed the back of his helmet. Recalling the lighting that came from the sky despite the clear day and then getting zapped alive.

"Nothing to feel bad over." Sebben tells him. "While I doubt that was all her abilities, now we know just a bit more of her."

"Yeah. One of them being petty." Living Bullet growls. "I found my wallet, phone and ID gone. By the time I got on a computer to contact you, I got a message from the bank stating my credit card is maxed out. Ten thousand dollars! Not to mention my vacation cancelled."

Sebben had to stop himself from chuckling just a bit. Though on that note, this did remind him of something. "I suppose that explains why I got a message from you earlier with a virus."

"I'm sorry, what!"

"Don't worry. My phone's defenses blocked it along with others you 'supposedly' contacted. Safe to assume either the Fallen or one of her allies tried crippling us with your phone." Not that it worked. Though Sebben got the feeling only he and those with better virus protection enjoyed that boon, as anybody else would find their email being filled with spam and their screens glitching.

"Guess that's another thing I need to do alongside getting a new debit card and ID." Living Bullet sighed. "In any case, I'll be back once I help these people to another village. In the meantime, you just tell me when the plan to deal with Van Kleiss and his stupid dimensionl portal is ready to go."

"I will." Sebben nods.

"Thanks. In the meantime, I gotta go." Living Bullet then gets ready to turn off the communication device. "See you soon man." Then like that, the conversation is done.

Outside of GrimmFall

"And done with that." Living Bullet gets up from the chair and stretches. He then turns to see a woman and then gives his thanks for letting him use her computer. The woman gave a smile with him leaving. 'Alright then, now just need to clear then Grimm then have help come and move these people to a safety camp until they get a new home.' Living Bullet thought.

It sucked that he couldn't capture the Fallen and her group, but he would be ready for next time. That Fallen got the jump on him before, next time if they meet however, he knows what to do. Plus, oddly she actually helped him out.

"Need to order special ear plugs to avoid that attack." He could usually ignore such things like flies or crying kids, but clearly he didn't think far ahead. Imagine if he had faced someone who wanted to genuinely kill him. Then instead of waking up with his pockets looted, he wouldn't be waking up at all. He couldn't let that happen again.

"Just need to finish moving these people, get home, take a shower, and then get ready to go to Nowhere when the time comes." He then turns to take out a few Grimm nearby. "How hard can it be?" It won't. The battle that will soon happen will commence very shortly. Though not without a few surprises. As unknown to Living Bullet, a small little head popped out under his helmet at the back of his head and just as quickly vanished.

"That should do nicely." With Salem smirking at all the wonderful news she just received. Particularly the part of an operational dimensional portal in a location called Nowhere. Now wasn't that a treat. A way to leave this world and back to their own. Once everyone settled down, she'll have Watts get all the information on Nowhere while she examines the information he stole from Living Bullets phone. His messages, pictures, contact list, all of it.

Though out of all the information she got, one thing stood out before them all.

"Sammael.' The name that left her lips, with other words such as 'Fallen' being heard. It seems things just got more interesting.

No way will they leave earth anytime soon. But maybe when the battle comes with Van Kleiss, they could make a small cameo there.
