Richard Buckner

Richard Buckner is one of earth's most richest men alive, and one of its most snobbiest. Arrogant, rude, and high self-esteem. His ego only matched by the most delusional. Despite these flaws, he has numerous skills in the business market which allowed him to gain riches that rivals even that of Scrooge McDuch and a few other billionaires. Having even avoided Billiam's kidnapping during the Golden Castle event. Unfortunately, none of those skills helped him when he sent many men to claim the land of the Wilds.

While he had prepared accordingly, and even reviewed past trips to the Wilds, none of the men and workers he sent could truly prepare for the Wilds, one of the most dangerous places on earth. While for the first few months they managed to hold their ground and build some buildings, the wildlife proved to be more hostile than expected. Grimm constantly attacked, wolves and bears striking whenever. Not to mention reports of strange creatures that may not even be of human origin. Even the birds pecked and pooped at them.

All of this combined with stress, fear, and loss of life caused many to snap and quit on the spot. Those that were alive telling others to not bother with the savage land with Richard Buckner going from third richest man alive to fourth due to much of his investment alongside being sued came with a loss of stock market.

He was not pleased.

"So. This is the Wilds." Salem smiled after two days of finally arriving here. "It's certainly more welcome than I thought."

"Raaa!" The Grimm she commandeered in this land began slaughtering every animal that even attempted to attack her group and Bandit Princess's tribe. Bears that growled at them, wolves that snarled, even deer that showed their teeth were killed without mercy. Not all of them, since the bandits and her inner group needed food, but enough that caused the animals to begin retreating. They may not be sapient, but animals weren't stupid and knew when to run.

More so since the Grimm they usually attacked with were now suddenly striking against them. Grimm were well known to not bother with animals unless territorial dispute came among them. No doubt the Grimm and animals actually worked together to drive out any human, faunus, or Mobian that came here.

Not today.

"Hahahaha!" Bandit Princess laughed as she saw all the animals that tried grouping on them being killed. "Man boss lady, you weren't kidding about making this land yours." The girl then grabbed a snake that had been prepared to bite then ripped off it's head. "With the Grimm under your control and the animals forced to back off, this is just amazing."

"Of course it is!" Tyrian laughed as he mutilated a poor baby deer and its mother. "She's a Goddess! No animal here can stop her." Considering the amount of wildlife was being killed, that made it more than true. The bandits that were a bit away were also amazed that none of the Grimm or animals were attacking them. If only they knew why.

"So then," Cinder then looked around the place, seeing all the trees and overgrown plants. "Is there a good spot where we can build?"

"I don't think we have to worry about that actually." Watts smirked. In his hand his scroll which for some reason was getting a signal still. "If anything, we should find a place soon enough."

"What do you mean by that?" Hazel asked him.

"I get it now." Bandit Princess chuckled. "Hey boss," She then called out to Salem. "I forgot to mention, but this place has technically been claimed before. Loads of times. The most recent a few years back being the closest before they were driven back."

"So then are you saying what I believe you are." The Grimm Queen looked toward the Mobian who grinned.

"Hell yeah." Then she kept moving until she cut down a few vines and tall grass for a bit until something caught her eye. One that made her smile greatly. "A bit of a mess and all, I imagine you'd still be pleased."

The Remnant offworlders then moved and there they then saw it. While old and having holes with plants all over, there at a distance is none other than numerous buildings of all sorts. Plastered over those buildings and long forgotten vehicles and construction equipment or symbols of different companies now all abandoned. As if this place is a small town and now forgotten.

"The internet did mention others tried building around here." Hazel recalled the articles he read as they ventured to this location. Many who tried to make something of this land, only to fail and then be picked up by another man who thought themselves better. The countless gear, vehicles, half-finished buildings and even weapons showed otherwise.

"Yep." Bandit Princess grabbed a useless gun that was too old to even use now. "Loads of idiots tried to take over. And while that rich loser Buck-baby was the closest, he failed in the end. Still, that does leave us with gifts."

"Yes." Salem looked over the ghost town. "Now we no longer have to build anything from the ground up. At best we simply have to replace a few things and start from there." A good place to be after all.

"I say we have that building right there." Cinder then pointed to the tallest one in the town that is complete, with the only regret being that it had some blonde fat losers image on the side of it. "A little decoration and we can make it good."

"Very well." Salem turned to Bandit Princess. "Tell your forces that they can have whatever they want in the surrounding area except to not enter that building unless I say so. Tell them it's only yours."

"Got it boss." Bandit Princess saluted. "I'll also have them clean up and gather anything useful around here." She then gazed at all the vehicles and weapons lying around. "While I doubt all of them will work, a good chunk of the stuff here should still be in working order. Heck, I reckon there's still Dust around."

"Not to mention a station that controls this place's energy grid." Watts then looked at a place that held some towers that you'd find giving electricity to other buildings. "Whoever this Rickard is, seems to have gotten power here since I'm getting a signal here. I'll see what I can do there."

"In which case I'll aid the bandits and find viable gear and perhaps food." Hazel then offered up. "Since many people tried working here, it's natural they must have brought preservable food around. Should be in some of those buildings there."

"Very well, in which case Cinder, come with me. Tyrian, scout the perimeter. I'll have the Grimm join as well." Salem told them.

"Of course my Queen."

"Yes my Goddess."

"And Bandit Princess." Salem looked at the Mobian having a job for her. "Once you tell your men your orders, I want you to deal with another pest."

"Huh?" A pest.

"Yes, a pest." Salem's eyes glowed, and at a far distance a small Nevermore followed a hidden figure who was now leaving. "Deal with them."

The Satyra man ran, as fast as he could. Under his mask that covered the upper part of his face was a smile. 'Hahaha! To think...to think I found such good information.'

A group of people that could avoid the Grimm. Another that faced the Living Bullet and won. Now this! The same massive group now taking over the massive leftovers made by those damn humans and succeeding! That wasn't even mentioning that creepy woman who seemed to control Grimm like nothing. He had to get this information to Catra and fast. He's certain that this information will be useful, and even get him a reward.

'And even better...that woman.' The woman with pale skin and dark veins. The only person that gave him the chills like that was that dude in Satyra who was part of the elite and gave off the same feeling. Granted, she seemed to be human. "And no doubt we can torture her for whatever information she has." He grinned.

It was then his phone finally got a signal, where quickly he began typing what he knew to Catra. In a few minutes he finished and the message was sent. Now he just had to wait for Catra to come and all will be well. Looks like this faunus was going to high places, as with a laugh he raised his hands in the air and grinned.

Slick!

Then both his hands fell to the ground where blood spurted from the end of his arms like a disgusting hose made of flesh. Two seconds later, he said one thing. "Ahhhhhhhh!"

As the faunus fell to the ground with small tears leaking out, from behind a sinister presence came. "Man, I can see why that lunatic scorpion worships the boss just a bit better now." The faunus then turned and saw...a Mobian. "To think she detected you when nobody else could. Granted, it seems you already did what you did which will upset her." A hand then grabbed his phone and looked at it. "Oh well, at least we can prepare for when the scouts come and even see what you got in here. Probably not much, but you never know."

"Y-you." The faunus recognized her. "Your B-B-Bandot Princess. But why-why are you working for a human?" A foot then slammed into his face and cracked his mask and sent him into the dirt.

"Idiot." The woman gazed at him in slight anger. "Human. Really? Like she's an actual human. I may not know who she is, but like hell I'm gonna go against someone that could command Grimm and who escaped Living Bullet." Man, what an fool.

Bandit Princess never did like Satyra. Granted, she didn't like most groups if she's honest. Though what made her hate Satyra was because fools like this clown always went to her and asked for her to join. Wow! So just because she's a Mobian, she had this 'obligation' to bring equality to humans and the discriminated. What a joke.

'And only a fool would think Satrya is still trying to bring equality.' It's plain as day that they're trying to conqueror humanity. Sure Bandit Princess didn't care if they didn't so, but she wanted no part with those fanatics. She's not even racist, she treats humans, faunus, and even Mobians as her lackeys.

Well, until she met Salem and her group. 'They may not be the toughest in the world, and yet like I'm going to go against them considering their power.'

So without hesitation or care, Bandit Princess lifted her sword and swung it down.

The local animals will have a feast for tonight.

On the site where all Huntsmen visited, the SkyWeb just received a small update. It wasn't much, and in all honesty most didn't even notice it. All it featured was a new type of Grimm spotted in the form of a large hound. While it was stated to be dangerous, most Huntsmen didn't think it was that dangerous. After all, so what if it killed a bunch of soldiers, while sad, many Huntsmen had the slight belief that soldiers weren't as good as Huntsmen. As such, the few that did bother going after this Grimm felt it would be easy prey.

"No. Please...no." They thought wrong.

A clawed hand then grabbed his face and twisted it right off. Then without mercy, the local Grimm ripped through some of Japan's Huntsmen like they were nothing more than pests. The one who led them, the one who had been underestimated, howling under the night.

"Man." Mercury looks at all the dead bodies. "That thing is definitely not a Grimm I wanna mess with."

"You think?" Emerald shivered as she saw the Hound then revert back to its dog-wolf form and leave the dead body of the Huntsman that first attacked it. "And those guys were pretty well trained. They probably could have took on the Grimm that crawled out during the Breach."

"Eh, to be fair," Mercury then saw the Hound giving commands to the Grimm, who started making holes to bury the bodies. "This thing is no ordinary Grimm." Heck, and that was an understatement. The way it commanded Grimm felt like it was a human instead, or even Salem. Even when Mercury and Emerald did sneak attacks, something told the young assassin the Hound would have done fine without them.

'Makes me wonder if Cinder even knew about it.' Mercury then took a look at the Hound as it walked towards the two humans. Then from its mouth, it dropped a bag full of rations and some water. This thing, it didn't want to kill them at all. Instead it actually kept them safe. Oddly, keeping them safe worries Mercury.

I mean, why was it doing so, what reason? Because if along the way they lost that reason, well, no doubt they'll be the next ones buried.

"Come on Em," Mercury then grabbed the bag and tossed a protein bar to the green haired girl. "Lets get some food in our bellies."

"Uh, sure." Emerald grabbed the bar and began unwrapping it. The Hound then sitting next to them while the Grimm did their job of burying the bodies, yet taking the Dust, some of their money, and other supplies away that could be carried. Thanks to that, Mercury now had more Dust for his legs with Emerald being the same position while having money. The Hound seemed to actually know a bit of human needs, which unnerved the two further.

"You know Merc," Emerald then spoke as she chewed on the bar. "Do you think...we'll find Cinder here?"

"What makes you say that?" Mercury asks.

"I mean, that Grimm brought us here through that portal. Obviously for a good reason. Maybe...maybe Cinder is here." Especially since this place really weirded her out.

"...Possibly." Mercury admits. "But until then, we're stuck with Fido here until we can actually locate her. Doesn't help we can't call her because of the bad reception here." Mercury then grabs the strange scroll one of the Huntresses had. "And I can't even understand the symbols for the password here."

"Yeah. Same here." The people, their language, all of it was off to her. The portal they entered taking them to some place Emerald didn't even recognize. Which made her...scared. 'I guess it's nice Mercury is here with me.' Not that she'd ever admit it. Only make that jerk's ego grow. Grabbing a water bottle, Emerald then held it out to Mercury. "To surviving another day."

"Yeah." Mercury then clinked his own water bottle with hers. "To another day." Like that, the two off-worlders then began drinking their water as they looked over the forest under the broken moon. Little did they know however, they had gotten the attention of others.

A Huntress.

"This report. Is it true?" Genki then reviewed the paper and clip, where a soldier nearby nodded.

"Yes. This Grimm has been killing anybody that goes after it, and it has been predicted to be some kind of Alpha Grimm." A good theory but Genkio knew it wasn't true. Because the files that organized all Grimm on earth revealed there is no Grimm that looked like this creature that the military has called 'The Hound'.

"Understood." Genki put down the papers. "Update the SkyWeb of this Grimm and ensure only Rank 3 and higher are allowed to go after it. Clearly while saddening, the people who hunted it underestimated the target."

"We haven't received word of the recent Huntsmen that went after it. While we could be wrong, considering it's track record, well…" No additional words needed to be said.

"Thank you, and I'm sorry for your loss." Genki told the man who nodded before leaving. Sighing, Genki then watched the television where it showed this Hound decimating the people who were looking into this portal. 'Is this Sammael's doing? I can imagine him creating a new Grimm like the Kaiju, yet this feels...sloppy.'

Not to mention this Grimm wasn't necessarily hostile. If anything, it only attacks when it itself is attacked. There's also the strangeness of the two teens with it, with no profiles of them at all, like they didn't exist. Genki sent a report to Sebben, since he knew Sammael rather well in hopes he might have an answer what exactly this Grimm is and its purpose.

'And maybe…' She then grabbed her sword. 'I should deal with this.'

Her husband and his allies were already getting ready to storm against Van Kleiss. Granted, she to will be joining them. Until then though, she had some time. May as well use this time to deal with this threat and find out why it's here and what that portal is, which is currently quarantined for the time being. If Sammael had another plan for Japan, and this Hound is involved, then she'll get that answer. The Hound could speak after all, time to make it squeal.

Oh! Looks like Mercury and Emerald are about to face a true Huntress. Who will win, the awesome might of Genki, or the ferocious intelligence of the Hound? Guess we'll find out later.
