GrimmFall News: Nowhere evacuation.

The Grimm army heading toward Nowhere gets closer every hour. But that is all the time needed for the Huntsmen and military to cooperate properly and get the residents out. That isn't to say things have gone entirely smoothly. With word being a massive explosion and mass casualties in numbers having occurred somehow despite the fact the Grimm army isn't near the town in Nowhere. People demanding answers of what occurred.

With a spread of words from the military at Nowhere proclaiming many of their brothers-in-arms have died for nothing. Questions have been asked towards the leaders of the operation of what this means. They have refused to answer any questions.

It's been a while since Tyrian has been here. Taking all his focus on not just killing as many people as he could, containing his bloodlust. Oh how hard it was. But he wasn't foolish. Tyrian knew when the time to kill was, and now wasn't it. He just hated how he also had to help people, with the only bright side of the job being he could scare some people away.

"And I said I ain't leaving my home, faunus scum." A racist old man said while waving his fist in the air.

Swish!

"And I said go." Tyrian grinned madly with his tip of the new mechanical tail right about one millimeter from puncturing the old man's eye. The elderly gulped and quickly went on his way to escape. Ah yes, a good threat here and there was always good to motivate fools.

Still, this wasn't getting his Goddesses will done, and Tyrian knew by now the fun was getting started. Word being that some Huntsmen were actually ahead. Combined with the fact one could see smoke at a distance showed activity was happening at where Van Kleiss's home is. Meaning the do-gooders must be acting now.

'And here I am helping a bunch of losers.' Tyrian growled in his mind. He then forced himself to aid in carrying a few crates into a truck which held food and the like for the evacuees to eat when they're taken away. While doing so, Tyrian heard some talk going around from other busy soldiers.

"You're saying some Huntsmen are already ahead of us?"

"Yep." A woman nodded. "I hear they're scouting ahead and junk."

"Then why are we even here?" A man asked in frustration. "Can't we leave this boring work to them?"

"Sure man." Another rolled their eyes. "Let them fight and evacuate at the same time. That'll end well."

"He's right." The woman said. "While I don't know these Huntsmen, even if they are strong they can't do what they're doing and the evacuation at the same time. Doesn't matter how strong a person is if they can't be everywhere at once." On that Tyrian could agree. It reminded him of that blout Ironwood.

Oh sure he was strong and had a powerful army. But he couldn't be everywhere at once, and also was always thinking of using blunt force on everything. Taking a direct approach to deal with his problems even though that was idiotic, as his Goddess and her group worked in the shadow. Never stepping onto the spotlight so they can sneak around back and stab the key players.

These Huntsmen thus took a good approach by going on ahead with few but high quality members, while the military here would do support but only after helping the people. Setting their roles perfectly. Well, until whoever the idiot was that annihilated a section of the army to nothing, with no ashes even left behind. Ohoho. Tyrian bet the fallout on that will be beautiful.

'And yet I can't even be there…unless,' Tyrian then looked around as he moved the crates. Noticing vehicles here and there, but obviously guarded by soldiers while some were full of people. No way to sneak on those.

But what about ordinary vehicles?

Tyrian then began looking around further. While most people and their belongings were being taken on military vehicles, some were using their own cars and trucks. Which would later be driven with the military guiding them safely. Tyrian in particular, saw one truck with some food and other items, with nobody in it. Grinning, Tyrian put the crates down where they should be and made his move.

He snuck across without anybody seeing him. Then, he went to the truck and dove under it and waited patiently. It took quite a while, but eventually he heard noise. Footsteps of a person headed toward the truck. Listening carefully, Tyrian then heard a slight jingle as the person took the keys out of their pocket. With his hearing, Tyrian didn't hear anybody else nearby, and there wasn't any additional pair of feet around either. Meaning this person is alone.

Once the person clicked something on the key, Tyrian heard the car beep slightly. The person opened the car door, ready to get into their truck. Tyrian's tail struck out quickly. It wrapped around the person's ankle, and then brought them down onto the ground. The person yelped, but not too loudly and before they could say anything else, Tyrian dragged them under the truck where he then moved his wrist and the Queen's Servant weapon activated. It's sharp ends revealed themselves and struck across the person's throat, slashing their vocal cords so they couldn't even yell.

What happened next ended with a dead body and Tyrian grabbing the keys and entering the truck. He then drives off and while the body will be found with effort likely to be made in finding the killer, they won't catch Tyrian. After all, by the time they realize where he's going, they won't make a move as he's heading toward the most dangerous part of the battlefield.

Where the battle between the Huntsmen and Van Kleiss is.

What fun this will be.

It had been such a fine ordinary day for everybody. It truly had been.

Up in the air, the plane flew without much problem. The occasional turbulence, yes, and some crying kids, but nothing more than that. Overall, this plane flew without any trouble at all. In fact, they were already flying over Japan's landing sight as they headed toward another country.

"Hm?" A man then said, the pilot of the aircraft. "Hey, you see what I see?"

The co-pilot also squinted. "I..think so."

There was something coming at them. A black dot of sorts, heading right toward them and going upward. Didn't take long for them to figure out what it was. A Grimm. And it clearly wasn't alone as while it was tougher to see, smaller black dots behind it were also there.

"Just activate the device man." The co-pilot then said, referring to the machine that reproduced a Grimm Alpha's call. One that commanded Grimm to leave, and very useful. Most planes didn't even have this feature, but the company the pilots worked for has a business deal with DexLabs. Granted, it was strange that this many Grimm were even out here, but then again, why bother thinking such complicated things when they can send them off to be safe.

Instantly the pilot activated the machine. Also gave a small word of warning to the passengers that they'll hear some Grimm, but assured them that everything was alright. That assurance went away when they realized, after one minute of playing the Alpha call, the Grimm weren't even leaving.

Why would an Alpha obey a false Alpha after all?

"Shit!" The pilot then shouted as suddenly they had a full visuale view of the Grimm. Countless Geists Grimm and none other than Japan's boogey-man, the Hound. There were also two others being carried by large Nevermores on their talons, but the pilots didn't care. All they cared about was getting the hell out of here and quickly tried contacting for help while turning this plane around.

CRASH!

It wasn't meant to be as the Hound burst through the cabin. The pressure dropping and both men feeling the air pressure affect them badly. The Hound cut their straps and in their horror and last thoughts they were sent flying out of the plane to their great doom. The plane also would have fallen as well, had it not been for the Geists. The Hound having chose them to aid in the possessing of this plane.

Granted, Geists did have limitations in just how much they could possess. A single one could never possess a plane of this size. Which is why it had brought many, which proceeded to inhabit the entire plane until eventually, the plane itself had a black body with limbs sprouting out of the hull. The interior stayed the same, though not for very long.

BAM!

First-class got a good look at what entered their cabin. It didn't take long for the screaming to begin, nor any longer for those screams to eventually stop. And while there were Huntsmen and some other capable fighters here, in such a small narrow space and people all around, it was clear who had the advantage. In time, the interior was dyed red.

"Yep. If we weren't as wanted before, we will be now." Mercury said as he sat in the bathroom seat. The one near first-class with Emerald with him. "Safe to say once people discover this, we're dead."

"Dead. Dead!" Emerald then shouted. "That MONSTER just slewed everybody in here! It was already considered a national threat, now it'll be international after this damn stunt!" Mercury frowned but agreed with Emerald.

Criminals came in all sorts of shapes and sizes, however they were either petty losers like small-time crooks, to medium threats like say Roman Torchwick. His father, Marcus Black, was on the higher spectrum and was a very big threat. But not international since his killings were silent and he was actually careful with his job.

But murders were another matter. After all, murders killed people, and they were threats meant to be taken down with man-hunts for them. Oh yeah Marcus was the same, but as mentioned before, his kills were silent and most didn't even know he did the killing. But the Hound was different.

Even if it never actively hunted people, if it saw any it killed them off like Grimm did. And while it was a horrible tragedy, at the very least from this world's perspective those killings were in Japan and limited to a certain degree. But considering the Hound just killed all these people and was headed toward America-as Mercury discovered from some clues and words he could actually read here-that changed things.

Now the Hound will be hunted down even more because it was going to another country. With this plane full of dead bodies being the straw that broke the camel's back. With this action, the people will want blood. Both the Hound…and it's accomplices, them!

"On the…bright side…" Mercury wasn't even sure there was a bright side, but said it anyway if only to bring just a bit of morale. "At least we're headed towards the others. Am I right?" That comment did seem to cheer up Emerald a little. However it wasn't much as Mercury knew both of them were in huge trouble.

Now, Mercury won't deny he's scum. I mean, being trained by a ruthless and cruel father does that to a person, and he had no qualms about killing others. However, just because he doesn't mind killing, doesn't mean he'll just kill for the sheer hell of it. There was a difference between an assassin and a psychopath. In Mercury's case, he'll kill only if he has to, while on the job. Having no usual feelings when offing someone.

The Hound was different, and murdered without any form of foresight or thought on how it would affect them or even it in the long run. Sure it can be attributed due to the fact it was a Grimm…until Mercury had the fearful memory of recalling what was behind that thing's head.

A faunus to be precise.

'Just what did Salem do to that bastard.' To be turned to a Grimm. No wonder this thing was smarter than most of the Grimm he's seen. Oh sure Grimm can gain a twisted form of self-preservation and knowledge, but the Hound showed in battle it can think very similarly to a human, and now Mercury knew why. Because it was a person, emphasis on was. While definitely smarter than a Grimm, it also felt less intelligent than a person in certain areas as well, probably because of the Grimm part.

But Mercury didn't care about that. What he cared about was what if, and while very much a low possibility, what if Salem did that to them. Chances were she wouldn't, but at night, Mercury slept where when he woke up, he as inside the Grimm.

Now that gave him the chills. Though it wasn't as bad as Emerald, who he sometimes heard weeping a bit while sleeping. Unlike him, Emerald was…nice.

Oh sure she didn't mind stealing, hurting others, and didn't have too much care for those besides herself. Forced to survive with little resources with others not helping tended to do that to a person. However, unlike Mercury, Emerald still had a form of empathy for others. The ability to feel for those besides herself and even Cinder. Heck, she didn't even want to kill others. Maybe if she had to, self-defense, but otherwise Mercury noted she's queasy about death.

Being with the Hound who did so much killing, especially on this plane clearly took a toll on her.

Once they met up with Cinder, that should help Emerald out. But it won't wipe away those memories. Not to mention the fact that they're wanted either. Plus if Mercury was being honest, a part of him would rather he didn't return to Cinder.

She wasn't the worst person to be around, but he also didn't like her and knew she didn't give a damn about him or Emerald, despite the girl's words. Maybe…Maybe if things went differently, once this plane landed, he and Emerald could…leave.

'But she won't want that.' Mercury thought as he turned to Emerald, who was just looking at a person's phone she took and using it. The reason she was in the bathroom with him, is because she couldn't handle the stench of blood and dead flesh in the cabins. She was just focusing on meeting up with Cinder, to avoid those dead bodies. Mercury then sighed.

If it all comes down to it, he'll join back up with Cinder. If only for Emerald's sake. But if things proved otherwise, he wouldn't hesitate to ditch Cinder. And hey, from what he heard America is a land of the free. Maybe he can be free to be somewhere else if everything went to hell.

We look at a quick glimpse of Tyrian and then at Mercury alongside Emerald. Both are doing what they can to continue their goals, with some being worse than others. Either way, for now we'll say good-bye to GrimmFall and return to Remnant for a bit.
