Sasuke was starting to think this whole situation was a little too weird for him.

There, floating right in front of his face, was a mysterious pale orb that looked disturbingly similar to Hinata's eyeball. And In its misty reflection Sasuke could make out Hinata and Naruto looking right back at him In some weird fisheye lens angle.

Wtf?

"Sasuke? Can you hear me?"

"Uh…. yea…"

Sasuke could make out Hinata's face pulling into a sharp frown. Her eyes were narrowed with anger but it came off a bit cheesy with the skewed angle of the lense.

"Sasuke I really hope your not fucking up right now." She whispered angrily. He couldn't help but smirk at the volatile reaction.

"Calm down. I got your little book." Raising it up to the ghostly eye he shook the book back and forth. Her perfectly plucked brows raised in surprise as her mouth formed a delicate o.

"Damn princess, have a little faith." Sasuke felt himself almost smile as a blush ran up her neck. He could hear Naruto snort next to her.

"Not bad bastard."

Choosing to ignore Naruto's remark he made his way out of the kitchen. The strange orb followed next to him closely as he navigated his way back to Sakura's room.

"So what did you do? Sakura had told Naruto you were trapped in her basement."

Grabbing his bag and shoving the books in he tossed it over his shoulder. "I just convinced her to let me out." He shrugged nonchalantly.

Hinata seemed to analyze him for a second before nodding in approval.

"I-Impressive. Well Naruto is about to go to the spot. I need you to walk atleast 5 blocks away from the House. I'll pick you up once you're there."

And with that the strange eye dissipated into a poof of smoke. Sasuke had to stop himself from laughing at the almost comical display of magic. Yea things were getting pretty weird.

Nearing the exit Sasuke felt himself hesitate at the door. The faint sound of heartbeats coming from the second floor peeking his interest. Deciding to satisfy his curiosity Sasuke made his way up the snug carpeted staircase. His nose leadinging him past a short corridor where he came face to face with a very normal looking door.

The scent of blood was now extremely concentrated and he could hear weak movement coming from the otherside.

Curiously Sasuke pushed the door open.

The room was extremely bare, no beds, no dressers, no photos. It was a stark contrast to the bright family home below. The curtains were open, letting in a stream of light landing directly on a extremely small dog cage sitting directly in the middle of the room.

Dust mites and dead skin seemed to dance together in the stream of light that landed on the cage.

"uh…ergh….uh"

The painfully soft moans coming from the cage made his skin jump.

He could recognize the faces of Sakura's mother and father within the sunken cheeks and fragile silhouettes of the 2 conjoined bodies trapped within the cage. Stuffed so tightly like two pieces of chewed gum mushed together.

Their hands were stretched beyond the bars, scratching weakly against the floorboards.

"sak…ra…."

Something deep and nasty stirred within his gut. What lengths would that girl go to be with him? He knew exactly why she put her parents away into a cage. Why she told her little sob story. At what lengths would she go to try and manipulate him to love her?

With the stench of human escreatmant and blood overwhelming his senses Sasuke slowly retreated out of the room, closing the door while locking eyes with Sakura's father.

Sakura's father's cheek was sticky and stretched as it was mashed and twisted to the mothers back. But his eyes stayed focused trying to convey a message.

Quietly Sasuke exited the house. Sakura was still in her trance preparing her things to perform some type of ritual on Hinata.

His mind felt blank and heavy as he walked a few blocks down. And when he got far enough away that he couldn't smell the blood from that house anymore he plopped down onto a curb, leaning his shoulder against a random stop sign.

He never knew someone that close to him could be that twisted. Sakura always had a crush on him but was never impolite. She was pretty enough and seemed to have a a decent amount of friends. She could be bitchy at times but he always thought she could be kind when needed to be.

Yet that same girl he knew in school for how many plus years was a witch with a demon contract who murdered and drained the blood of who knows how many people and had her parents fused together in a dog cage the size of her clothes basket locked upstairs.

What made her so fucksd up? Was it really…his fault?

Did she truly "love" him so much that she would sacrifice so much to try and make a spell to force him to love her? Get rid of her parents so that she could have a similar background story to his?

His head was spinning and all he could think about were her fathers eyes…

"Hey Sasuke"

A gentle palm landed on his shoulder. Looking up from his haunched position he locked eyes with Hinata's pearly ones

She smiled sweetly and offered her hand out to him. As if we're a life line he grabbed it, and was up on his feet once again.

"I'm glad you we're able to pull it off." She smirked.

Rolling his eyes he pulled the spell book from out of his backpack. She eagerly plucked it out of his hands, flipping through the pages excitedly. Yet the hints of a frown started to form.

"What's wrong?"

With a sigh she flipped the book close with one hand. She shook her head and forced a little smile. "It's nothing, you did a good job. Let's go."

Grabbing his hand she slashed it with her long sharp stiletto nails. She placed her own palm that seemed to have already been cut before on his. For some reason a jolt sent its way up and down his spin when the two bloody cuts connected.

"We don't wanna be late"

And with that the world seemed to tumble and spin mixing into streaking colors and light.
