Chapter: I'm Back...?

*Swish* *swish* *swish* I paled as the stairs disappear into the wall which will happen to the stairs I'm hanging from. I looked above as the entrance slowly closed, I sighed "There are two choices, fall from here or slide from here" I pointed out.

"Even an idiot knows which one to choose from" I muttered solemnly tightening the grip observing the disappearing stairs heading towards me.

"I don't want to be an idiot! so I choose.." I let go of my grip when the second stairs above me disappeared, I slid for a while and balanced myself to run on it "Option three! Whoohooo!" I yelled excitedly.

I ran down, as the stairs disappear one step behind me, "Don't think I let go, because I'm afraid" I yelled at no one.

"It's because of UMPF" I retorted before face-planting on the ground.

I stayed in that position dazedly before sitting "*Ptooey**spit**pah*" I spit the sand from my mouth.

I looked around the area as my eyes twitched in annoyance "What the fuck! All the stunt is just for such short stairs" I shouted in anger.

"I thought the stair will reach all the way down" I reasoned in rage.

"All my awesomeness is in vain" I yelled depressed.

After sitting in a depression near my face-print on the ground for a while, I scanned to see a huge open area filled with sand- obviously a desert.

I took out my long-forgotten mask and bandanna wearing them "I can breeze through here since I won't be affected by any heat" I smugly wore the goggles over my eyes, not realizing that I just tempted fate.

I checked the food supply, which can provide me for a week if rationed properly. "It's been nearly a month since I came here," I deduced from the remaining food; a few days at the cave's entrance, two weeks in a cave, five-six days climbing the obstacle path.

I started walking confidently towards the wide desert "This is not a trial but a training ground" I announced enthusiastically walking forward.

"And I'm experienced in desert survival" I looked around nostalgic.

-o-

After two days in a desert-like region, a figure dragged its tired body "What the hell is this place?" It bellowed angrily taking a sip of water from a Tin can.

"There is nothing out here after walking for two days" It grumbled.

"And clearly this island is not that big to hide a desert this big in it" It grumbled remembering the photo of this Island before flopping on the ground.

"Only my food is reduced fast" I muttered taking a can with the last pumpkin piece in it then I discard the can after eating its contents.

I took an Eisen Dial then make a dome "The sandstorm will appear in an hour" I mumbled.

"Let's rest until then" I closed my eyes for a short nap.

There was a «BZZT» vibration during my sleep waking me from my nap, "Where Am I?" I groggily looked around at the white room.

"Am I in a hospital? *Yawn* I'm tired" I muttered laid back to sleep again. I slept happily before I heard the sound of wind rustling against the wall.

"What the hell! They are disturbing a patient" I complained covering my ears.

"Nurse! What's that sound?" I called out in annoyance before standing in displeasure and instinctively controlled the Dial to open the door.

As soon as I opened it a huge amount of sand entered covering me in the sand. "What the Fuck?" I yelled before closing the door.

"*Spit**Ptooey**pah* what the *gag* hell is this?" I spit before starting to remove the sand on me.

"Where Am I? Why am I small?" I gasped looking down.

"What is this?" I paled holding my tail.

"Ok calm down" I took a deep breath *cough* inhaling the sand along, "*Achoo* *phew* I'm calm" I calmed myself.

"So I transmigrated in this body" I deduced, "Poor kid just died like this" I sympathized sadly.

"I'm hungry" I patted my stomach and found a bag nearby. And started eating the ration in it then spotted the watch blinking so I operated it and read the 'Reminder note'.

My eating speed slowed down as continued to read. I paled and looked at the food in my hand dumbfound, "Sigh! I'm going to be hungry for a long time" I commented before carefully packing the remaining food.

"So this is what happened?" I nodded calmly understanding the situation I'm in. I checked my equipment then got ready to go out as soon as the sandstorm stops.

It looks I'm working seriously from the outside, if not for the 'Gaa! It's embarrassing, Stupid God, I will kick…' grumbling due to the embarrassment of things I did early after waking up.

I waited for the wind sound to stop before removing the dome and started walking towards the direction after finding the mark 'Past me' left before sleeping.

I continue to walk in that direction until the next sandstorm arrived, so I hid the dome again reading some details from my watch.

"Weird, I get fewer memory attacks since I arrived on this island" I concluded after reading the LogBook.

"If I can't find a way out today I'm going to fly out of here, even if I give up my pride of Desert Survivor" I decided after thinking about the situation.

"Besides there is no night here and it's always hot, it's unfair for ordinary humans" I cursed at this place setting.

After the storm passed I continued my journey, I know that I need to get out of this place within five days or I will be starved so I became anxious and increased my pace subconsciously, which will only increase the burden on the body.

Even though this body was very active before coming to this island, the difficult activities done continuously for nearly a month without rest will take a toll on my kid's body.

I trudged forward for nearly an hour, I got frustrated as time passed by "Maybe, my short leg is the reason I can't cross this desert yet" I reason stupidly, before finding something buried in the sand, I got excited since this is the first discovery in this place.

I hurriedly picked it, the sand covering it fell to reveal… "What the hell…?" I yelled looking dumbfound at the object. I rubbed my eyes to confirm again, it can't be mistaken; it is an empty can of canned food.

"It can't be… this is the same Can I have it in my bag" I muttered.

"Does this mean this place is a time loop and this can is from the future?" I mumbled refusing to accept that I got lost.

"It must be it, how can an awesome desert survivor get lost walking in a straight line? I don't have a Moss-head" I reasoned not admitting to getting lost.

After deducing everything, to finally arrive at the conclusion, I got lost. I sat there depressed, gazing at the distance with empty eyes, unable to accept this fact. I sat there for a while before exploding "I refuse to believe that I got lost, I, a great survival expert got lost, hehehe, like hell" I thundered.

"I know, the only reason I got lost is, due to this place is moving around" I declared.

"I can't believe I said the exact word as that Moss Head" I sighed sadly.

"Anyway, other than this place moving around there is no way I got lost" I brainwashed myself.

"The only time this place can move is during the sandstorm which can easily erase any evidence" I concluded.

"So I will wait for the storm to prove that I'm still awesome" I motivated myself.

Then I used the Eisen dial to create an anchor and buried it in the ground firmly, I created a Ball Cloud and flew above carrying it, I held the Eisen Dial which has string coming out of it connected to the buried anchor.

"The storm is about to hit any minute now" I noted and flapped my wings carrying the cloud higher. I secured myself on the ball cloud "I hope it won't burst in the middle" I prayed as the wind started to pick up.

I felt the ball cloud getting dragged around by the wind only to be prevented from flying away due to the anchor.

The storm picked up raising the sand obscuring the vision but I recorded everything without missing any important details using the watch worn around my eyes like a sunglass. The ball cloud surprisingly held for this long but I don't have any hope for it as it may burst anytime now.

I looked around the area from atop of the ball cloud to find any anomaly; which is revolving in the air, with the anchor as a center.

I controlled the Eisen Dial to increase the thickness of the wire turned it into a thin Pole waving in the storm. The ball cloud burst almost throwing me down, I became confident and further increased the pole thickness, as it slowly got less affected by the storm.

I created a small foothold for me on the pole to observe from here, the sand hitting on my exposed skin is painful. I soon discovered some movement in the distance and focused the camera there, and then I found many similar movements and recorded it. I also probably guessed the reason for my lost way angering me.

The sandstorm finally subsided and I converted the Eisen cloud back into a string and flew down. The first thing I did after landing is to remove all the sand on me, after cleaning up, I looked at all the videos and confirmed my guess.

This whole place is divided into concurrent circular planes, and they started to rotate at a set time, blowing the sand over them creating the storm.

"So the movement of the plates create the storm and not the other way around" I assured.

"Anyway, I have proven that I did not get lost as a survival expert" I boasted looking at the video.

"Now, how should I proceed further from here?" I muttered looking at the video intently.

"First, I need to find in which direction the exit is," I considered looking around the area. I felt the hot sand beneath me when a vague idea formed in my head.

I took the video and studied it to find my current position, there are seven concurrent circular planes and I'm at the center plane. I have been roaming here for a long time unknowingly; I will select a huge distant dune as a landmark before going to rest since it won't be easily blown by the sandstorm.

I use the landmark to find the right direction, but here, both my current location and the landmark's plane rotates disrupting my direction.

I need to figure out the number of sandstorms that arrived since I stepped onto the desert, and I want to observe one more sandstorm to find whether the circular planes rotate in the same direction or in a different direction.

So, I can calculate the direction I came from. "Well, the large amount of 'useless' knowledge in my watch is of use only now" I praised since it provide steps to calculate these things.

"I only need to follow these steps" I assured then waited for the next sandstorm, I repeated the same thing with the Ball Dial and recorded the video to find that the planes are rotating in the exact direction as recorded during the early sandstorm.

"Hah! I got all the details" I exclaimed and followed the steps provided in the watch and quickly found the general direction.

"Now I need something to mark on the ground which should be visible from a long distance" I grinned already thinking of a plan.

I packed everything and walked towards the direction; the result of the calculation. After some distance, I touched the hot sand below and grinned, "This is perfect, now I can mark things" I clapped the sand from my hand.

Then I took two flame dials turning them on as they spit flames, I controlled the flames to concentrate on the sand below turning them into a glass, in the shape of an arrow pointing towards my destination.

I am careful to not burn my dress since they are not fireproof like my body. My mask and bandanna are also fireproof, I wonder where I came from wearing such an expensive baby dress.

I increased my pace drawing the arrows on the ground, I traveled like this before the next sandstorm came, I stayed inside my dome as usual safe from the storm.

I came out after the storm subsided, then I flew in the air to find the arrows I drew. I found them easily in the distance because of the glass's reflection, even if some sand covered it. I noted the distance, time, etc., and locations of the arrows to find the correct direction.

I traveled like this for a day to mark the ground, wait for the storm to subside, calculate the correct direction, and increase my pace. I can feel that I will reach my destination soon.

"Yay! I crossed the desert" I yelled spotting a distant structure in front of me. I quickly reached it "What is this place?" I mumbled looking around.

"This place looks like it has not been affected by the storm" I deduced looking at the place. As I reached the entrance I quickly found footprints which exiting this place "Woah! There were other humans here?" I exclaimed in surprise rushed in excitedly.

I looked around the area finding a staircase as I neared it I found a print near it which looked like a face "Haha, Some idiot face-planted here by falling from the stairs" I mocked looking at the face print.

"Why, does this face look familiar?"I looked confused as I got a bad feeling. I rushed back to find that my footprint matches perfectly with the one I found earlier.

"No, It can't be happening, I came back to the start" I paled whispering in disbelief.

"The survival specialist found the wrong direction" I muttered aghast, focusing completely on the pointless thing not thinking about low food.

"You, Stupid God this is your doing right?" I yelled angrily thinking it is God's plan.

"You just want to ruin my….." I rambled venting my anger.

After five minutes of ranting, I calmed down taking a sip of water from the Tin can. "Now what should I do?" I thought "Should I climb back up or enter the desert again?" I muttered looking at the staircase.

I took the Log Book and started reading it, to find any solution. "My food supply is dwindling" I muttered chewing a piece of jerky as I continued to read.

"Why should I give up? Just because I have low food?" I reacted.

"Just you wait! I will cross this desert in a day" I declared angrily. "I'm the man who will reach the starry sea, a mere desert can't defeat me" I vowed solemnly, falling on my back to take a nap shameless.

I woke up refreshed after some time looking energetic and ready for action. I packed up all the things and set out into the desert again. I noticed the storm howling in the distance, then my eyes glinted behind my goggles in wisdom, "Hahaha I will cross this desert lying down" I declared arrogantly.

I reached near the storm as it slowly dissipated, I continued forward into the area where the storm just stopped. I scanned the area nodding and used the Eisen dial to make a house.

I entered and unpacked the bags and began to relax without a shred of worry "I'm going to rest today, without moving a muscle" I yawned leisurely, Then I chose a movie from the watch and projected it on the wall to watch.

I wore an earbud to not be disturbed by the storm outside and enjoyed my rest. The storm arrived and went, as I continue to rest leisurely, I stood after a while and stretched lazily. I heard the storm sound outside "Is this the fourth storm?" I muttered looking at the time.

I unhurriedly packed everything back into the bag just as the storm stopped, I removed the house after a while before surveying the area then turned towards the direction of the start point, which should be visible from this distance but is currently missing.

I smirked at this phenomenon "As expected, staying on the outermost concurrent plane will automatically bring me to the opposite of start point, after four rotations" I confirmed "Assuming that the exit is opposite of the start point" I speculated.

I strode confidently towards that direction with expectation; my heartbeat increased as I neared the place where the start point should be present, since it's not, then there should be an exit here. "What! there is nothing here?" I muttered looking around and continued to move forward to find anything.

"What's the problem? Where is the exit?" I muttered anxiously.

"Don't tell me I got lost, again?" I panicked thinking about my challenge.

"No, calm down, think properly" I breathed deeply calming down.

I took a can from the bag with some water in it, collected from the previous obstacles, since the water in the water dial is consumed. And there is only one water dial stored as an emergency.

I quickly drank the small amount of water contained in it thinking carefully about the current problem. "Ha! It's so annoying" I scratched my head throwing the can in my hand in frustration.

I saw that the can vanished suddenly alerting me, So I ran towards the place it vanished in surprise. "WHAAAT!? it vanished" I searched around.
