Chapter 1
Looking back, it seemed so much. Then you were only a child. No thoughts of a future, of a life beyond Hogwarts. You never thought that the years would come so quickly, if they are only years.
You lost so much: First your parents, the closest thing to a father, your friends, your only relatives and your dignity. You look around the small cell. All there is to be seen is a small, plastic plate on which your dinner is served but other than that, the room is bare. You remember everything from when you were in Hogwarts. All of the lessons and the adventures. It was all for nothing.
The day Voldemort launched his army; you prepared yourself as well as you could. But nothing could have prepared you for what you saw. Ron went first, as usual. He never liked to be last, so he died first. Voldemort hadn't even bothered to use Adava Kedavara. He just snapped Ron's neck in front of them all. Hermione, enraged by the death of the man she loved, ran forward bravely but she was hit by no less than six stunning spells in the chest. You can remember how she screamed, dropped to the ground then she lay there, still and cold, and you screamed with all your heart for her to get up, to be alright.
By then, you had realised that it was useless. Voldemort couldn't be beaten. So you gave up. You let them bring you here.
You lay yourself down and exhale for the final time and let every thought and bad memory out of your body. And there you stay.
