The flight to Vacuo was going swimmingly so far, though Ruby was ready for something bad to happen at every turn because of what Rose said about her chances, 'If your opponent is dealt four aces, whats the chance of winning?' Well If Ruby knew her cards, and Uncle Qrow made sure she did, that chance was very very slim. So Ruby tensely waited for something to happen, and happen something did.

About seven eighths of the way through the flight the airship was met with some turbulence, then more turbulence, then the captain came on the PA with an announcement, "Ladies and Gentlemen, there appears to be a sandstorm brewing up and it's affecting our engines, we are going to turn off our engines and glide for a while to protect them from all the sand, Thank you for your patience"

Uh, I didn't expect this to happen at all uh. So all these things that Rose says? I actually ya know uh, Roll the dice, play the cards, uh flip the coins and uh... i flipped a quarter and it landed on its edge. I looked it up, that's a 1 in 6000 chance so um i guess nothing goes wrong?

Ruby's musing was interrupted by the loud screech of a nevermore, and soon after the panicked screams of the passengers, Ruby stood up from her seat and went to the window where a nevermore could be spotted flying parallel to the ship amidst the sand, only seeing 4 griffons along with it Ruby turned to the frightened passengers,

"Its Okay! I'm A Huntress, I can Protect you!" Ruby shouted at the crowd, and slowly they started to listen. Then Ruby unfurled her Scythe and took aim, then firing 5 consecutive shots straight through the bulletproof glass she killed each of the Grimm outside, all the while Hoping that her aim was true. Play a 4 Player hand of poker, whats the chance someone at the table gets better than High card? Ruby Grinned and Hoped that that was all the Grimm and the rest of the flight would be safe, Flip a coin. Heads? Or tails?

Sitting back down in her seat, Ruby calmly waited for the rest of the Grimm to show up...

Instead Ruby and the rest of the passengers waited out the flight and landed safely in the City of Vacuo, As the airship began to deplane Ruby asked Rose a question Hey Rose, You said that you will improbable outcomes closer to possibility right? That is correct yes. Then the probabilities that you say whenever I hope for something, are those before or after your meddling? After. For example, you making 5 consecutive sniper shots with a weapon you realistically have never fired before, through bulletproof glass, on a moving platform, is not probable, though not unreasonable either. You are a remarkable good Sniper, just not that good. So I put my finger on the scale a bit. So what was the probability before? Take a bag of colored marbles, 3 colors, 3 marbles, draw 3 one at a time, putting the marble back in once you're done each time. Whats the chance that you draw the same color at least twice? Uh I don't know but i assume less than 4 people all not getting better than a high card. You assume correctly the chance that the winning hand in a four player round of Menagerie Hold-em is a not a high card is 99.993788% while the probability of getting the same color at least twice is .7 repeating% Like I said, you're good, just not that good. So I just got like a huge burst on inspiration out of nowhere and made this, I dont know how long its gonna be, but im gonna just keep going till i run out of motivation, anyways do not fall is on indefinite hiatus right now because of my crippling inability to write anything within a certain time restraint. also this one is a bit small because i've been up since 8PM and it is not 3:34 PM and i wrote every chapter since chapter one this morning and afternoon
