Told ya'll it would be up soon. :3

Zap awoke the next morning feeling pretty good. His freedom was on its way, and he was planning to talk to the Flareon who had caught his attention several times over the past days.

"'Bout time you woke up." Kai, his Trainer said, flashing him a smile.

/Yeah, yeah... What match is on now/ Zap asked, rubbing the sleep from his eyes with his paw.

"Hm... I think it's a magnetric and a Flareon. I don't know, I wasn't really paying attention. There was a news announcement about some people's pokemon being stolen, so I figured I should stay near you." Kai said, munching on a cereal bar he had found in his bag.

Zaps ears perked at the mention of the Flareon, It had to be here, and there were no others anywhere in the building. She flooded his thoughts and he didn't even hear about there being thieves around.

Kai stood and went to a counter near by to get a bowl of pellets for Jolteon. Just a few more days and he can be happy... He though, smiling as he returned and set the bowl down where his yellow spiked pokemon could eat.

They were in the back corner of the now semi-desolate room. Most trainers and there pokemon were watching the matches, but there were a few, like Kai and Zap, Who stayed in the air-conditioned room.

Click.

Zap looked up to where the odd noise came from, and was met with a gun barrel near his face. He looked to Kai, who was already in panic mode.

"Gimme the jolteon and ya don't get hurt." The man holding the gun said in a gruff voice.

"N-n-n-no, He's mine and y-you can't have him." Kai stuttered out, visibly shaking.

The assailant pointed the gun at him now, and Zap growled loudly, his coat spiking up in anger, No one threatened Kai except him Damn it.

The man grinned, but it was quickly replaced with a scowl as Zap jumped at him, his claws extended.

He remembered Kai yelling something at him, but he didn't think it was important,

Then everything went black.
