Hello everyone, here is another one shot

This is if Azuruko was alive, on how he would have reacted to the news that Ace is engaged and married. It is short, but it was what I came up with

Ace walked into the base, seeing Azuruko sitting on his couch, reading some papers. Ace walked over and moved to fall down on the couch, on his back and head in Azuruko's lap. "Hi." Azuruko hummed. "Why hello, Ace. How are you?" Ace let out a hum himself. "Fine. I've got something to tell." Azuruko nodded. "I guessed. I also guess it has something to do with the ring on your finger." Ace chuckled. Of course Azuruko had already managed to see the ring. "Yeah. Marco proposed. And as you can see, I said yes." Azuruko nodded. "I can see that." Azuruko then put his papers down, a hand moving to his head. "I'm glad, Ace. I'm glad you said yes; you fit." Ace chuckled. "Everyone keeps saying that." Azuruko chuckled. "There's a reason for that; you do fit." Azuruko gave him a smile. "I also want to meet Marco soon. I still haven't." Ace let out a small laugh. "I tried to make you meet, but you were busy. I didn't know that." Azuruko nodded. "I know, but now, you need to show him to me." Ace nodded. "And I will, when we have time." Ace would, and he hoped it would go fine. While yes, Ace liked Marco, if Azuruko disapproved, he didn't know what he would do. He had a feeling that wouldn't happen, but there was a chance. Azuruko hummed. "You staying for long?" Ace shook his head. "I can't. I have duties on the boat." Azuruko nodded. "Yes, I know. But stay for dinner, okay? I see you so rarely nowadays." Ace hummed. "I think I can stay a bit. Let me just send a note." Azuruko nodded, seeming glad by that. And as Ace sent the note with Dust, it seemed Whitebeard didn't mind him staying away for a bit longer, which was good. He really didn't see Azuruko nearly as often as he had used to before, before he joined the pirates, but he still dropped by now and then when he had the time. It was always nice to drop by and staying for dinner would be.

Ace moved into Azuruko's room, seeing the man standing by his desk, Ace moving over to the man, moving to hold around him, head leaned against his back. "Hi." He felt the chuckle Azuruko gave. "Hello, Ace. What brings you by? I have a feeling it's more than staying for lunch, which you will." Ace chuckled. He supposed he was now. "I have something to tell." Azuruko hummed. "Again?" Ace nodded. "Yes. But something good." Last time he had been here, he had told about the children they had taken to their home, telling how it made him feel and how Marco had been amazing and helped him through it. It still helped to tell Azuruko, as he was Ace's everything. Azuruko nodded. "That's good. What is it?" Ace sighed. "I know we're going to go into hiding soon, but before we do, Marco and I decided on something." Azuruko hummed with a nod. "Mhm. What?" Ace let out a breath, not sure how the man would react. "Well, we kind of got married yesterday." There was a small silence for a couple seconds, before Azuruko spoke, sounding somewhat stunned. "You did?" Ace nodded. "We did. I didn't tell why, but I wanted to since we're going into hiding soon. Maybe it will have them keep more calm." Ace knew he couldn't tell the pirates they were going into hiding, even though he wanted to. They needed to go into hiding to lure this person out, the one who controlled these people that had been showing up, having things he had never seen before. The person even had the Blue Blooded Patricians in a scuffle. He did hope him marrying Marco would have Marco realize this was a planned thing, and to not be too worried.

Azuruko then moved to turn around, making so Ace had his head leaned against his chest, Azuruko bringing a hand to his head. "I'm proud of you, Ace. When all of this is over, when things are calm, I want to meet Marco." Ace blinked, moving backwards to look at Azuruko. "We're going now?" Azuruko nodded. "Yes. I'm preparing the marks now. Now is when we go into hiding." Ace nodded, giving a breath as he wouldn't even get to say goodbye to Marco, just pretend everything was fine and say goodbye. He had left early today, hoping no one would notice. For now, he would just need to hope things would go fine. Azuruko gave a sigh, hand moving to thread through his hair. "I know these next weeks will be hard, but the fact you got married makes me feel so proud. You did the right thing and when it is over, when this is over, we need to meet each other. I should come visit you on the boat." Ace nodded. "I would really like that. I just hope this will go fine." Azuruko moved his hand to his cheek, lifting his head so he looked at Azuruko. "It will go fine. They just need a push in the right direction. Us hiding will be that." Ace hoped that himself, that it would be so easy. He still hoped the pirates wouldn't worry too much or be affected by this in any way.

Right now, Ace needed to do his duties as an assassin.
