Trevor watched as Ace got blindfolded, the kid moving hands up to feel the fabric, before he looked around. "I can't see shit." Azuruko sighed. "That's kind of why we are doing this. And try not to swear." Ace nodded. "No promises though. How long will I need to do this?" Azuruko hummed. "Until you can see perfectly." Ace frowned, it was visible as his mouth frowned. "But I can't see." Azuruko nodded. "I know. And this is to teach you Observation Haki. We spoke about this." Ace nodded. "But I thought you were joking about the blindfold. Was this how you did it?" Azuruko nodded. "Yes Ace, and we were the same age. After you, it's Trevor's turn." Ace nodded. "That, I look forward to. What now?" Azuruko hummed. "You go about your day normally. Everyone knows you are training and are not to help." Ace frowned more. "Have I ever said I hate you?" Azuruko clapped Ace on his back. "You will grasp it quickly. Maybe a month." Trevor had a feeling Ace blinked as he stood still for a second. "A month? A month! That's super long!" Azuruko nodded. "I know, and you'll manage, I know you will." Ace nodded. "I better." Azuruko nodded. "Also, Dust is not allowed inside while you train." Ace crossed his arms. "You're mean." Azuruko chuckled. "It would be cheating. You need to first learn this, then you can practice more seeing through Dust." Trevor knew Ace could see through Dust's eyes, and he wasn't the best at it. That, and Dust could just tell Ace where to go, so it was good the bird was banned from inside. Trevor wasn't that close to Ace, but he was getting there.
Azuruko then told Ace the plans for today, which was just a meeting that was out of the ordinary, the rest was a normal day, and then Ace was left to do his own things. To try and train. Trevor knew Ace could just peak out of the blindfold, but he knew Ace wanted to get this. Ace would follow the rules, not that Trevor would make it that easy. And the blindfold was fastened with a lock and around Ace's throat, so he couldn't take it over his head. The only thing he could do was drag it down, but then Azuruko would be disappointed, which he knew Ace didn't want. Azuruko then told Ace to go about his day, and the kid nodded, arms out as he walked to the wall, following it to the door opening and then out the hall, probably heading to his room. This would be fun. He followed after Ace, seeing the kid walking into a table, before he walked into a statue, each time having him chuckling, getting a glare from Ace, but no words. Ace somehow managed to get to his room, it took over twice the normal walking time, but he made it. Trevor then waited out in the hallway for Ace to come back out, which he did after half an hour, and Trevor decided to be a bit of a douche, and put his leg out, tripping Ace. He managed not to chuckle or laugh, to not give it away it was him. "The hell! Don't trip me!" Trevor kept silent and still, making Ace swear as he stood up and headed on. Trevor then continued to follow, watching Ace walk straight into a door, hard, as it was supposed to be open- not Trevor's fault Ace didn't check- making his nose bleed a bit. That had him chuckle, and got him a blindfolded glare. "Trevor!" Trevor didn't answer, just chuckled. Ace then headed on.
He continued to follow Ace throughout the day, watching him walking slowly, especially down the stairs. He wanted to trip Ace down them, but decided not to. He didn't want to actually hurt Ace. Just tripping him and closing doors was enough, at least for now. What had him laugh more, was how Mika kept putting things on fire, a few times panicking Ace as something was burning and Ace had no idea what to do, one time he even almost took the blindfold down. But, if he took it down, he wouldn't get it on again without help, so he would be caught having taken it down. But a week later, he was still following Ace around and was about to trip him, he felt shocked when two arms suddenly pushed him down to the ground. "Trevor! Stop tripping me!" Oh, the kid was improving. That was good, and bad. It meant he couldn't trip Ace anymore. But he could continue to close the odd door, making Ace walk into it, which had him chuckle, But after a while, Ace always checked. And a week later, he didn't even need to check, he just knew if the door was open or not, even managing to avoid knocking into things. Damn, Ace was improving fast.
But as the week went by, Trevor got an idea. And as Azuruko sent Ace to fetch something from a storage space, Trevor ran ahead and moved the ladder to the storage space, making so the ladder was out a window instead. It was a small fall, but Ace should be fine. When Ace came, he gave a look to him. "Why are you here, Trevor?" Trevor shrugged. "Nothing. I still follow you around, waiting for you to knock into things." It wasn't a complete lie. Ace then went over to the ladder, getting a frown as he found it. "I was sure it was more left." Trevor just shrugged. Even if Ace couldn't see it, he did it out of habit. As Ace was halfway, Mika came into the room, and was about to speak when Trevor silenced her with a hand. The two then watched ace climb up and then out the window, falling down on the other side, making Trevor laugh as Ace yelled out. But the frown quickly changed as another yell followed, this one sounding like pain. So Trevor walked outside, giving a shocked laugh when he saw Ace. "Oh God, Bunny. Your arm!" Ace's arm was obviously broken, and Ace gave a snarl to him. "And my ribs! They hurt! I broke at least one! You bitch!" Trevor moved his hands. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry. I didn't mean for you to get hurt." He hadn't, he meant that. Ace didn't seem to believe him and with the help of Mika, they followed him to the infirmary, where Graham was, and he was unimpressed as he patched Ace up his own way. Finding out he had broken 4 ribs and his arm 3 places, it had Trevor feel bad, he really hadn't meant to injure Ace. Ace was then annoyed that breaking his arm and ribs didn't get him out of the blindfold exercise. He gave a swear to Azuruko who took it with a smile and said Ace was doing great, while also giving a small threat to him to not do that again, which Trevor would follow. He really didn't mean for Ace to get hurt.
Trevor then downed his attempts to annoy Ace, but still followed him around, one time even removing an obstacle as Ace was using a cast for his arm. He didn't want Ace to trip and land on his front and potentially harm himself more. Mika had also started placing small pin needles everywhere, even hiding them so well Trevor found a few accidentally as he poked himself. She was good at hiding them. And when the third week started, it was clear Ace was getting adept in Observation Haki, as he managed to tell everyone who were in a room, move away when Trevor tried to swat him- one time finding a pin needle in his hair which hurt- but Ace was adapting greatly. Trevor hoped he would be as quick. When the third week was over, Ace was let out of the blindfold, Ace blinking at the light. And when he looked around, his gaze stopped at Azuruko. "Feels weird to see." Azuruko nodded. "I know. But you get used to it. Try and keep up your work. Also, try and get an overlook over a larger area by closing your eyes. You should be able to see the whole base after a while. It might take a couple months, but you should be able to do it. You've been doing great." Ace nodded, sending a glare at him. "And Trevor didn't help at all!" Trevor moved his hands. "Hey! It helped! You got better fast!" Ace gave a grumble as he knew Trevor was right. Azuruko then mentioned he was next, which had Ace grin, and Trevor knew he was in for a treat. Ace would pay him back what he had done to him. Trevor just hoped it wouldn't be as bad as he had been, but had a feeling it would be worse.
And that's the one shot, hope you enjoyed
I can do Trevor's training if it's wanted, but for now, it's Ace's training
