This was a request
This is Ace reacting to the fact Luffy declares war on the World Government. This was supposed to be in the main story, but I forgot as I don't really know the timeline well, so just pretend this is in the main story

Whitebeard sat out on deck, enjoying a good morning. Ace stood by the railing and looking at the newspaper, being the first to get his hands on it. But as he was about halfway, Ace looked bothered as he looked at Trevor. "Can I kill the entire World Government? Or is that a no no?" Trevor hummed. "No no. Why? What does the paper say?" Ace looked more bothered with that and pushed the newspaper against Trevor as he headed away. "I need to do something." And Ace was gone in black smoke. As he was gone, the captain looked at Trevor. "What was that about? Why did he look so bothered?" Trevor shrugged. "Beats me, let me just read this page." Said Trevor as he read, before his eyes went big. "Oh no, Ace might kill the entire World Government. He might actually do it." Whitebeard frowned. "Why? What has happened?" Trevor gave a breathless laugh. "You know Luffy, the one person Ace is super duper protective of. He declared war on the World Government." Whitebeard blinked. "Luffy did what?" Trevor shook his head, a misplaced smile on his lips. "He actually declared war on them. Luffy just declared war on the World Government. I have no idea how Ace will fix this." Whitebeard didn't have an idea himself.
Just then, Claus came from around a corner with a Den Den in hand, and Trevor pointed to it. "That's either Daisuke, Moira, Hanzo, or me!" Claus nodded. "It's Daisuke. He says it's urgent." Trevor nodded. "It is!" Trevor then took the Den Den. "Did you read it?!" The Den Den nodded. "Please tell me Ace is still there?" Trevor hissed. "He just read it and left. I have no idea what to do." The Den Den sighed. "Hopefully, he won't kill them all. The world will go into chaos if he does." The world would, but he could understand if Ace did it. He was really protective over Luffy and Sabo. Trevor nodded. "Yeah, keep me updated. I'll call if Ace shows up again." The Den Den nodded. "Good." It then went back to sleep and Trevor handed the Den Den to Claus again, who left, telling he would return if he called. As Claus was gone, Whitebeard looked at Trevor. "What now?" Trevor hissed. "We wait. We can't do anything else than wait, and hope for the best." Trevor was right, they had no means to teleport and couldn't find Ace fast, they just needed to wait.

Ace appeared on Luffy's ship, glad when Luffy was out and smiling. And Ace gave a serious look to Luffy. "Are you mad! Do you know what you just did!" Luffy's smile fell. "What did I do?" Ace gave a breath. "You just declared war on the World Government!" Luffy blinked. "Oh, that was a couple days ago." Ace blinked. "I don't care! Why did you do it?!" Luffy shrugged. "They took Robin, and I wanted her back." Ace moved his hand to his face. "You can't declare war because of that!" Ace looked over at Sabo. "Why did you let this happen!" Sabo gave a small sound. "I kind of agreed. I like Robin too." Ace moved his hand to his nose. "Oh my God." He then looked at Luffy. "Do you realise I can't fix this?! I can't fix this! I can't do anything, unless I kill everyone!" Thankfully, not every member of the Straw Hats were out, just a couple— Chopper and Ussop if he remembered correctly— both of which were cowering behind a wall, probably since he was upset.
Luffy blinked. "You don't have to fix this. I can handle this." Ace blinked. "No, no you can't." Luffy frowned. "Yes, I can. Who said I could do anything I set my mind to?" Ace blinked. "I didn't know you would declare war! On the World Government!" Luffy shrugged. "But I did. And we can handle it. We're strong too." Ace moved a hand to his chest, trying to take a few deep breaths, before he sighed, looking at Luffy. "Can you really handle this? What if they come for you? Which they will. It's just a matter of time." Luffy blinked. "I know, but we'll manage." Ace had no idea what to do, and put his face down in his hands. No idea what to do. When he felt hands touch his face, he removed his hands to look at Luffy, who had a serious look. "Ace, I know what I did. And I, we can handle it. Just relax." Ace sighed. "How can I relax, knowing you will be hunted?" Luffy nodded. "Because I say it will go fine. And you know I say the truth. Just relax. If it becomes too much, I'll call." Ace nodded, seeing the calm look Luffy had. "Okay, okay. I can handle this, I think. Just please, please, don't do anything like this again. Okay?" Luffy shrugged. "Can't promise that. But I'll try not to." Ace nodded, that was probably the best he would get. He could handle this, Luffy would call if it became too much.
Ace then moved in and hugged Luffy thighly, before he looked over at Sabo, waving him over. "You too." Sabo nodded and came over and Ace hugged the other tightly too. "Please be careful." Luffy and Sabo nodded, both speaking at the same time. "We will." Ace nodded. "And call if you need me." Both nodded again, and Ace sighed. He just needed to trust Luffy and Sabo, and their crew, could handle this. He could just hope. Ace then let go of his brothers, before making them say to call him if it got to ruff, which both did, before Ace left, after patting Luffy on the head, and appearing on Amegakure. He might couldn't fix this, but he could make it safer for them, and spoke with Daisuke, asking him to keep an eye out on Luffy and Sabo too, and if there was an assassin or informant around the two, to keep an eye out on them, which Daisuke said he could do, before he asked if anyone was dead. Which had Ace sigh. "No, I just spoke with Luffy and Sabo, I won't kill the entire World Government. Not that I don't want to." Daisuke nodded. "Good good, I was worried you might do that." Ace chuckled. "I want to do it, but I have a feeling the world would go insane if I did." Daisuke nodded. "They would. Be careful, Ace, and I'll keep an eye out as well with those I control." Ace nodded, that was all he could hope for.
He then headed back to the boat, and when he appeared, Trevor looked at him. "How many are dead?" Ace sighed. "No one." Trevor blinked. "What? How is that possible? They declared war." Ace moved a hand to his face. "Don't remind me. I just spoke with them and Daisuke, and things are okay." Trevor nodded. "Okay, saves me from speaking with Daisuke. We were worried." Ace nodded. "I get it, but I think things will be okay. If not, they will call me." Trevor nodded. "Sounds to be a plan." Ace nodded, it was. The captain then spoke. "Did they really declare war? Why?" Ace sighed. "Because they took someone on their crew, so they did it to get her back and to say don't mess with us, basically." The captain nodded, seeming to get it. And he probably did. He would probably have done the same if one of his crew, or children, were taken. He just hoped the World Government had better things to do than to go after Luffy and Sabo. But he could just hope.
