No one really knows when quirks started showing up, people started really noticing them when it came to the point that a whole 80% of the world's population had them. The number steadily increased, a new dawn it seemed to be for the world. But of course, with these amazing powers that people had long dreamed of having, there were also those who wish to have more power with it, sooner or later, people would be labeled as heroes; or villains. And there was no way around that, everyone knew.

For thousands of years, this number had been increasing, until one day, one day everyone saw the drastic drop, every child born had no quirk, every person above a certain age could no longer use their what had become sacred powers; what made them unique. Heroes, villains, civilians alike. You would have thought that they would have banded together during this time of need, but they were still human, powers or not. It was so big that everyone, even the most oblivious of people noticed that something was wrong.

In that one day, villain levels rose by the masses, and the heroes couldn't do anything, for they too, had lost their quirks. At this age in time, it was very uncommon for people of the younger generation to be an actual heroes to the people, not just someone people laughed and mocked for their dream, so most just waited until later on in life. Rendering- when this massive serge did happen- then useless towards the people.

Many later on say that this opened their eyes. Open their eyes towards the way they had been treating the younger generation, towards the way they were laying all their eggs in one basket, letting one specific generation control all. That's right about the time when schools for training younger heroes arose around the world.

But no one knows why. No one knows why people lost their quirk that day. It was like a gaping hole that had been placed in their body, as though someone came up to them and ripped their very essence out of them, replacing it with this...numb feeling.

When the world's population of individuals with quirks was a mere 1%, there was a girl. A small, fragile, beautiful girl. Everyone around her knew that she must be one of the lucky ones with a quirk. Her beautiful, luminous eyes held stars and her hair flowed freely, gracefully, as no one had ever seen it before. Everyone (including her parents) was bewildered, no one knew how to react to it.

Her parents, for the first few years of the young females' life, spoiled her and made her as happy as she could possibly be. But once she turned three odd things started to happen, she started seeing- at some points even talking to this mysterious being that only she could see. Her parents and friends of course found this rather strange, how she would randomly giggle, or how she would start talking to a chair as though they were best of friends.

So her parents brought her to a professional, someone who could help the young girl, see what was wrong with her. The professional said that it was just a side effect of her quirk, and it was nothing to worry about. But if it happened again, her parents must come back into the office, any time of day or night, with or without an appointment. Two weeks later it happened once again, so the parents obediently brought her back in. That was the day they locked her up for the first time, seeing how she would react to confinement. She stayed there for three years, in that dark room, strict meal, exercise, and sleep times, soon any trace of her had been forgotten from her previous life.

Before anyone had known it, a new mysterious person had come along, offering to transfer her to a spot where she could no longer affect anything poorly, that she would actually be helping the population. The doctor of course refused, so the mysterious person set out to make the doctor's life a living hell. Letting the girl out of her confinement multiple times, setting her on rampages, killing multiple people.

People of course set out to kill this little girl they saw as a villainess, making the doctor anxious, worried even for the little girl he had grown fond of in his three years of monitoring her.

At the time, the number of people with villainess quirks had taken a rise, very few of the lucky individuals had good, safe quirks. At last, the doctor reached out to the mysterious man once again, pleading him to stop, that he would do whatever it takes to help the human population.

The man made a special cage. A special place for the god-like little girl, somewhere no one would be able to find her, where she, and others would be safe from herself. That engagement was very special, taking its spot in Earth's orbit, circling 'round and 'round the world for thousands of years.

The night she took her place in that cage, a new type of light lit up the sky, people had never seen what people now call stars before, but now they littered the night sky, more beautiful than anything anyone had ever witnessed, some say it was a god or goddess blessing the planet with light, others say the moon needed something to accompany it, so it made the stars.

Slowly, steadily the little girl grew up, watching people from her spot in the sky, watching her friends, her parents grow older, than sooner than she ready, die. Being so small at the time, she couldn't understand why people she had played with before she went with the doctor, lived on, became adults before she even grew into her preteen years.

It was very lonely for her in that cage, she had a visitor, of course, that mysterious man that had locked her up sent certain people up there who taught her schooling, things so she could one day return and be a benefit to society. The man told her it would only be a few years until she could go back.

But that time never came.
