Kairi vs Otsutsuki Round 1

Two men floated down from the sky. Well, Kairi wasn't sure she could call them men. The one with the long white ponytail and wore something that looked like a wedding vale, sat on the big one's shoulder as they descended into the arena. They landed in front of her father and brother. Kairi looked them over. They were white, as in stark white skin. Horns, that resembled tree bark grew from their heads; the ponytailed one, reminded Kairi of puppy ears, but he didn't look the least bit cut. What caught Kairi's attention the most were their eyes.

The same white eyes, that Kairi saw in the mirror for months now. They had Byakugan eyes. How?

"Alright who are you?" The scientist looking man approached them annoyed, "I'm using this arena to showcase my invention."

"There are too many vulgar creatures in the way," the one with the ponytail remarked.

"Shall we cleanse the area?" the large one asked gruffly. Kairi had a bad feeling. The large one's hand filled with chakra, and when he slammed it into the ground. Everything shook. Cracks shot through the arena, causing the stands to start breaking.

Kairi quickly grabbed the rail to stay stable. She looked around horrified watching the structure collapse. Everyone needed to get out! Wait!

Mom! Himawari!

Kairi turned her Byakugan to where she last saw her mother and sister. Her mother was covering her sister as debris fell. Without another thought Kairi shot towards them.

"Mommy," Himawari clung to her mother as everything shook. Hinata covered her youngest child. She could see Naruto was already protecting Boruto in the arena. Hinata had to get Himawari to safety, then she would come back for Boruto. She trusted Naruto with their son, until then.

Another violet tremor caused Hinata and Himawari to separate. Causing the little girl to fall to the ground and knocked Hinata to her back.

Before Hinata could even think. She saw part of the sky trim break and began to fall towards Himawari. Hinata stood up instantly, readying to use her gentle fist to break the debris and save her daughter. But she was too slow, she was going to make it.

So many fears ran through Hinata as she watched her daughter about to die. Kairi's face flashed through her mind.

Not Himawari too!

"Protect!"

Dust filled the stand.

"Himawari!" Hinata screamed. It all happened to fast for her mind to process, but she did think she saw someone through themselves over her daughter as they shouted something.

As the dust began to clear, she saw something... shimmering. Hinata activated her Byakugan and saw some kind of sphere; made of glass like hexagons. Inside was indeed someone who was covering Himawari. Hinata saw pieces of the skyline surrounded the dome, like it broke on contact. As the person sat up, so did Himawari.

By her appearance, she looked like a teenage girl. She wore a pink hoodie dress, with the hood up.

The barrier vanished as she helped Himawari stand. She even looked her over checking for injuries.

"Are you okay?" The girl asked Himawari. Himawari looked shook up, but she did manage to nod.

"Himawari," Hinata ran to her daughter.

"Mommy," Himawari ran to her mother's arms. Hinata held her close. She looked at the girl who saved her daughter. Her hood wasn't just up, she was wearing sunglasses so, Hinata couldn't see her face. That didn't make her less grateful.

"Thank you, so much," Hinata smiled.

She saw the girl bite her lip before she spoke again, "It's not safe here!" She motioned to Himawari, "Take her and go!"

Her tone sounded forced. Like she wanted to say something else. Hinata however, didn't have time to dwell on it. The girl was right, she needed to take Himawari and run.

She took Himawari into her arms and ran, "Thank you."

Himawari watched the girl who just saved her. Who was she?

Kairi watched her mother and sister run to safety. It took so much effort to tell them that. Kairi had to hold back so many things she wanted to tell them. To show them! But this wasn't the time!

"You still haven't told them?" Kairi looked up to see Riku.

"Where have you been?" Kairi asked angrily.

"Apparently, I was following them," Riku pointed to the mysterious men who caused this mess.

"Who are they?" Kairi asked

"I don't know, but their power," Riku grimaced, "It's similar to the corridor of darkness."

Kairi looked at them, "What?"

"Not exactly the same, but whatever it is, it lets them travel between worlds," Riku speculated, "But it's obvious, they're intruding here."

"Well, that's just dandy," Kairi said sarcastically. She realized there were still people in danger. Other ninja had started helping the civilians escape, but there were still a lot of people who needed help, "We need to help these people evacuate. Then we can-…"

Kairi was interrupted when her father was kicked into the wall.

Boruto looked at the cloud of dust his dad vanished into. Then the creep who kicked his Dad in the first place, walked past him. He was still going after his Dad, he had to stop him!

"Stop!" Boruto barked. The ponytailed creep did stop and turn around, but he didn't look the least bit intimidated. Boruto made a hand sign, but he realized his chakra was depleted. No choice. he had to use the scientific ninja tool. He held up his wrist and shot a fire style jutsu, "Fire Style Bullet: Homura!"

The creep held up his hand. The red eye at the center, just sucked it up like a vacuum. He wasn't even hurt.

He absorbed it?

Boruto used a water jutsu next, "Water style bullet: Orka!"

The creep just absorbed that as well. Boruto didn't know what else to do but shoot one jutsu after another and each one got absorbed.

"How vexing," one of the jutsus managed to wrinkle his vale, "You soiled my cloak." Boruto tried to use another jutsu, but he was out. He looked up reality finally sinking in. He was out of ammo, out of chakra, and out of luck. Against someone who kicked his father and sent him flying like a rag doll.

The man took one step towards Boruto.

A flash of pink appeared, and something sliced through the air, forcing the creep back. When the creep saw the new opponent, his eyes narrowed in disdain.

Boruto finally stood. Standing in front of him was a girl, who looked older than him. Wearing a pink dress, with her hood up, holding a giant key. She just protected him.

"Who… who...?"

"Why are you still using that thing?" the girl snapped without turning around. Boruto flinched at her tone, "Can't you see it didn't work? Leave before you get hurt!"

Boruto looked down. He didn't know why, but for some reason the girl yelling at him, made him feel worse.

"I see, a Keyblade wielder."

"How do you know that name?" Kairi asked as she glared at the man.

"I'm quite familiar with that weapon, you're people tend to be a nuisance to us," he sneered.

Kairi narrowed her eyes. This guy wasn't going to be easy to fight. They demonstrated their power by destroying the stadium in a single blow. Not to mention Kairi was going to have be extra careful, with the people evacuating; she couldn't go full power without risking an injury to an innocent bystander.

Not to mention he had Byakugan, like her. Kairi took in a deep breath, before jumping towards him.

Shikadai helped the civilians onto Inojin's bird drawing, before he flew away. Dammit how did this happen. One minute, Boruto was caught cheating, then the next all hell broke loose.

"Hey Shikadai," ChoCho called, "It looks like this area is clear."

ChoCho was waving at him from the other side of the ruined stand. She had moved the broken debris to the side to help rescue civilians.

"Okay," Shikadai called, "Now we should-…"

Suddenly there was another tremor. The mountain of debris ChoCho stacked, started to collapse. Shikadai panicked when he saw it was about to fall on his teammate, "ChoCho move!"

ChoCho was just about to be crushed when something streaked through the stand. The next thing ChoCho knew. She was being carried away, but by who? She looked up and her heart stopped.

His sharp chiseled face, it was sculped from ice. His muscled arms that carried her like a princess was tougher than any steak she had eaten. His eyes were color of blueberry ice cream. All topped with silver hair, like sparkling frosting on top of her favorite desert.

Her savior stopped when they were in a safe spot and set her down, "Are you okay?"

All ChoCho could do was nod.

"ChoCho," Shikadai ran up to her to make sure she was okay.

"You two get out of here," the guy said before he ran off. ChoCho didn't take his eye off him as he did.

"ChoCho, are you okay?"

ChoCho finally opened her mouth, "Who was that hot guy?"

Riku kept glancing back at Kairi fighting the intruder. He told Kairi he'd handle the evacuation and he would keep his promise. The intruder attacked her Dad and brother, the look of horror on Kairi's face told him, she wouldn't focus on anything else. Either way, Riku had to clear out the people fast so he could help Kairi fight.

"Gah!"

Riku looked ahead at the sound of someone crying in pain. His eyes widened. A kid who was around Boruto's age, was impaled by a hook. A fish hooks. The fishhook, then ripped back through him, taking something from the kid.

Riku followed the line to another man who resembled the intruders. Another one?

The new intruder looked at what was on his fishhook. It looked like a small orb of energy, "Oh this is amazing," he said all to giddy, "The techniques we have don't possess this kind of power," with sickening laughter her reached up and took the power. To Riku it looked like he took the kid's soul, "You creatures are quite amusing, you know that?"

When the fisherman wannabe started to skip towards the kid, Riku through his Keyblade in a strike raid. The intruder saw it and jumped back. In an instant Riku was between the enemy and the kid.

"How about you pick on someone your own size?" Riku snapped.

"Oh," the intruder mused, "I know you."

Riku ignored his creepy remark and took a stance, "Fire!" Riku shot a fire ball at the freak. However, he shot his fishing hook at fire ball, not only did it block the attack, it went straight through towards Riku. Riku was about to defend when a pillar of sand, took the intruder by surprise and forced him and his hook to fall back.

"Oh, so it's you again."

Riku looked to see two of the Kage had approached him, one of them had red hair, the symbol for love tattooed on his forehead, and wore a red coat, the other had blue hair, and goggles holding a sword. If Riku didn't know this was a ninja world he would have wondered how they got so close to him without him noticing.

"It's seems you're good at surprising people, but not very good at being surprised," The red-haired man said.

"Thanks," Riku acknowledged.

"You should go back young man," The blue haired Kage advised Riku, "You don't know what you're up against."

"Sorry," Riku refused, "But I'm going to fight, no matter what you say."

"Very well," The red-haired man said, "But keep your guard up."

Kairi swung her keyblade at the intruder. One slash after another, but he dodged every time. Finally, the intruder parried. He coated his hand in chakra, and grabbed, Kairi's Keyblade, mid-thrust before kicking her. Kairi was knocked back without her weapon.

Knowing she wouldn't stay disarmed, Momoshiki threw the Keyblade aside and shot towards her. He spotted the chakra point to her heart. He shot his chakra infused hand towards her vital spot, with the intent to kill.

A second before he made contact, her hand shot forward, jabbing his arm. He felt her chakra enter his arm and halted the chakra flow. Just in time, when he jabbed her chest, it hurt, but he couldn't send chakra into her network and damage her heart.

Then, fluid as water, Kairi sidestepped around him, striking his chakra points with her Gentle Fist training. When she was behind him, she summoned her keyblade, ready to hit the final attack. She hit all spots that paralyzed him, he wouldn't be able to move. However, Kairi's Byakugan watched as the chakra points, she just halted, moved on their own again.

He quickly dodged Kairi's attack and jumped away. He narrowed his eyes; how did she see he chakra points? He used his Byakugan to look past her hood and sunglasses. Glaring back at him was another set of Byakugan eyes.

"I see. You must be one of Kaguya's descendants."

"I don't know who that is, and I don't care," Kairi snapped. She was still processing that his chakra points healed on their own. How? She could tell his chakra was different from everyone else's. Did it have that kind of power?

Kairi needed to focus. Gentle fist wouldn't work. Maybe as a counter if he got between her and her Keyblade again. Maybe, if she did use it, she would aim for a vital spot this time! Kairi thought back to her fights with Neji.

Neji couldn't be surprised, he could see almost every angle, and could block most of her attacks. Wait, what if Kairi had an attack that his several angles at the same time. Granted Neji would have used the rotation, but Kairi wasn't fighting Neji. She had to take a chance.

She reached into her pocket and pulled out a different keychain. She switched the keychain out on her Keyblade. Destiny's Embrace took the form of Oathkeeper. Kairi needed to charge up to that form if she wanted her plan to work.

Naruto finally got up after digging out of the pile of rubble. His eyes began looking for Boruto immediately. Was he hurt? He saw his son standing, safe. Where was the Otsutsuki?

He heard the sound of fighting and looked up. Someone, a teenage girl by the looks of it. Was fighting the madman. She wore a pink dress with a hood, so Naruto couldn't see her face. She was fighting with a sword, that looked like a key.

Naruto watched as she actually kept up with the Otsutuki. She swung her slashes the intruder either dodged or blocked with chakra infused hands. He managed to know her weapon into the air, but then she fought hand to hand. Naruto knew that fighting style, he was married to a Hyuga after all. He knew the Gentle Fist when he saw it. She blocked the strikes and even managed to get in a few of her own. Naruto couldn't help but feel impressed. There was something about the style that made him think of Neji. When he saw her dodge an attack, he briefly saw her necklace… it looked like-

Naruto's thoughts were interrupted when a piece of rubble hit his head, "Ow." He looked up, his eyes landed on his son. He needed to do something, Boruto was in trouble.

Kairi tried to hit the intruder's vitals, but he blocked every attempt. Kairi was doing some damage, but not enough. Kairi finally summoned her keyblade and took a swing, which he dodged, by jumping back. However, Kairi finally got the power she needed.

She raised the white Keyblade in her right hand and activated the form Oathkeeper could grant. Her dress's color changed from pink, to black and white. And Oathkeeper's dark half, Oblivion appeared in Kairi's left hand.

"Hm, a dual wielder? That's new, let's see if you can keep entertaining me."

Kairi teleported to his back. Of course, he blocked, but Kairi could see her attack had more weight. Kairi was faster in this form and stronger. The intruder turned to face her as she unleashed double the attacks with two Keyblades. He still blocked every single one, but Kairi could see that he was starting to get tired. Good, she could win this.

Finally, she got one scratch on his face.

"You inferior wench!" the intruder snarled as he jumped back. Just what Kairi wanted. She threw her Keyblades' outward in a double strike raid. They spun around toward the opposite sides of the madman, in a pincer attack. As he prepared to guard, he saw Kairi shot towards him. Her hand filled with chakra. He could block the Keyblade's or he could block her. But he couldn't block all three.

As Kairi got closer, he raised his hand. A red eye was in the palm of his hand. He shot out a fire attack, but it missed Kairi by a mile. At least that's what she thought, until her Byakugan showed that it was flying straight towards Boruto, who was still there. The attack wasn't meant for her!

Boruto froze when he saw the fire jutsu shot at him. He didn't have time to dodge or move. It was about to engulf him when he felt a body collide into him. He heard an explosion as he and the other body sailed through the air and then crashed into the ground. When Boruto's vision stopped spinning, he saw the girl's sunglasses had fallen next to him.

He looked to see her body was above him, gasping as the dress went back to its original pink color. She felt her arms wrapped around him, like she was trying to shield him. Finally, she started to lift her body up. Enough for Boruto to see the top half of her form. He looked towards his head. Her hood was still up, but now, he could see her face.

His eyes widened. Looking down, concerned and worried, was Kairi.

Kairi looked over Boruto, making sure he wasn't hurt. She barely made it in time to pull him out of the way. And she knew the intruder blocked her Keyblade's because she had to abandon her attack.

Boruto's eyes were wide as saucers, was he hallucinating? Was Kairi really there? He raised his hand and placed it on her cheek. The sensation in his hand confirmed it. Kairi was there, really there. She came back, like she promised.

That's when Kairi realized, her sunglasses were gone. She looked to see they had landed next to her. Her heart stopped, Boruto knew!

Kairi was full of mixed emotions. Right before this fight, he cheated! He was her little brother, her little baby brother, that she wasn't there for. She didn't know how to respond, should she hug him? Slap him? Yell at him? Tell him she missed him? She didn't know what to do!

The footsteps approaching them, made Kairi look up. The intruder was approaching him. Right, she had a fight to finish. She got off Boruto and picked up her sunglasses and put them back on. As she began to stand, she felt Boruto grab her arm. She looked back to see his face was still full of emotion, "Ka… Kai…" He struggled to say her name.

"I need to end this," Kairi said pulling her arm free, "Get to safety."

Kairi approached the enemy, summoning back her Keyblade. Her eyes glaring at the enemy.

"I heard you were all nearly wiped out," the intruder said, "I heard that one of your own betrayed you, a Master Xehanort," He sneered, "It must had been so difficult."

"Yeah, Xehanort was a problem," Kairi confessed, "Until he met me!" She took her stance, "But that doesn't matter anymore, I won't let you hurt these people, just because you think you're stronger."

"Exactly! I couldn't agree more."

Kairi flinched at the voice… That voice. Kairi was too afraid to turn around, so she used her Byakugan to look behind her.

Standing protectively in front of Boruto was Kairi's father. Kairi felt her emotions get tense again. Not in fear of the enemy, but in anxiety of her Dad's proximity.

I feel I just did something horrible to Riku with ChoCho… but it is funny
