Now What Do I Do?
Naruto tried to go through his paperwork as fast as he could. He even made clones to help with the paperwork. Something he never did, but there was a special reason. It wasn't the Otsutsuki's attack, or the damaged done to the village. It was Kairi; she was alive, she was home, and in the hospital. Naruto was trying to finish his work early, to go see her.
Naruto still couldn't believe Kairi was back. He had given up for so long. It felt almost impossible for her to be back, but it was her. She was back, she was grown up… so grown up. Naruto slumped forward, the last time he saw her she was a little girl, now she was a beautiful young woman… Naruto was happy Kairi was alive, but he felt cheated. He never had the chance to watch Kairi grow up.
He wanted to wait with Hinata and Hima until Kairi woke up in the hospital, but…
Himawari climbed onto the bed to lay next to Kairi.
"Hima, be careful," Naruto said, he wanted Kairi to rest easy.
"Okay."
Hinata sat next to Kairi's bed holding their daughter's hand. Hinata had not let go of Kairi's hand since she passed out. Almost like Hinata was afraid that if she let go, Kairi would disappear again. Naruto couldn't blame his wife, Naruto felt that if he looked away from Kairi, even for a second. She'd be gone again.
There was a gentle knock at the door. Naruto went to answer. Maybe it was Sakura. He opened it to find Shikamaru on the other side, "Shikamaru?" Naruto stepped out into the hallway.
Shikamaru sighed, "Sorry, I did everything I could, but we need you back at the tower."
"What?" Naruto glanced back at Kairi's hospital room, "But…"
"Look, I don't want to drag you away from Kairi again, but this was an attack on our village," Shikamaru placed a hand on his shoulder, "There's only so much I can do without the Hokage."
"I… I just got her back…"
"She'll be here," Shikamaru assured, "We managed to place a guard detail to make sure she's safe. No one's taking her away again."
Naruto was reluctant, but came to a decision, "Alright, I need to let Hinata and Hima know first," Naruto opened the door, to tell his family he was leaving. Besides, there was something he needed to take care of.
Naruto finally reached the form regarding Kairi's grave. It was to have it removed. Kairi wasn't dead and Naruto never wanted to look at it again. Kairi was alive, and he didn't want a reminder that he ever once thought otherwise.

"How did you get here?" Riku asked Sasuke again as the older man walked past him to get closer to the tower.
"I can sense chakra and follow it," Sasuke said in a flat tone.
"I don't have chakra," Riku said.
"But that does," Sasuke pointed to Riku's shoulder. Riku looked to see a small snake was sitting on his shoulder.
"What," Riku quickly knocked it off and it disappeared in a puff of smoke.
"You have the power to travel worlds?" Mickey asked in disbelief.
"My Rinnegan grants me the power traverse space in an instant," Sasuke said like it was a simple fact.
Mickey however didn't understand, "Um…"
"His left eye gives him superpowers," Riku translated, before looking to Sasuke annoyed, "What are you doing here?"
"You seem to know a lot about the Otsutsuki, and Naruto is going to want to know what kind of people his daughter has been with in her life."
"How is that your business?" Riku asked.
"I'm her Godfather," Sasuke said, "Naruto made it my business."
Mickey looked at Riku concerned, "So the Otsutsuki really are still around?"
"That's putting it lightly," Sasuke finally turned around to face them, "Years ago we fought another Otsutsuki, named Kaguya."
"I see," Mickey nodded, "I think we all need to talk to Master Yen Sid."
"But isn't that against the World Order," Riku gestured to Sasuke, "He's not a Keyblade Wielder."
"Riku, the World Order isn't a law we police," Mickey explained, "He found out on his own and has a power to travel worlds on his own. And he has a right to know the threats to his world."
"The Mouse is correct and is clearly the smartest among you," Sasuke turned towards the tower when Riku shot him a dirty glare, "Does this Yen Sid live here?"
"He does," Mickey began to lead Sasuke towards the doors, "I'll take him to you."
Riku brooded as he followed. There was something about Sasuke, that just rubbed him the wrong way.
As they walked through the enchanted stairways, Mickey talked to Sasuke, "So you're Kairi's Godfather."
"Technically," Sasuke said, "Her father is my closest friend."
"Well," Mickey said, "We're glad she found her family. I believe I've been to your world once, but my memory was altered as well. If I knew, I would have helped Kairi sooner."
Sasuke glanced at Mickey, "I'm not sure how everyone would react to someone like you." A walking talking mouse.
"Kairi is still a friend," Mickey acknowledged, "And helping friends always come first."
"Hm." Kairi was around people who cared about others. Naruto would be relieved when Sasuke told him.
Soon they reached the door that led to the study. Mickey knocked.
"You may enter," a deep voice called.
They opened to door and entered Yen Sid's study. The retired Keyblade Master was quick to notice Sasuke, "Who is this."
"I am Sasuke Uchiha, I am Kairi's Godfather."
"He's friends with Kairi's Dad to be more specific," Riku said.
"I see, why have you come here?"
"The Otsutsuki," Sasuke said, "They're alive and they just attacked my world. I've come to gather information about them."
"Are you certain?" Master Yen Sid asked looking alarmed.
"Yeah, I can confirm," Riku said, "Three of them attacked Kairi's world and one of them got away."
"This is deeply concerning," Master Yen Sid said, "And when Sora is still missing."
"Sora?" Where did Sasuke hear that name?
Boruto growled in frustration when his shuriken still didn't hit the target. Sasuke expected Boruto to throw another tantrum or make another excuse.
Boruto scratched his head in irritation, until he suddenly stopped. He looked at Sasuke, "Can I add something to the target?"
"What?"
"I want to add a picture of someone I really need to teach a lesson," Boruto grinned mischievously.
"Is it Naruto."
"Not today, someone else," Boruto pulled out a pen and paper and started scribbling away. When he was, Sasuke could say without a doubt, Boruto couldn't draw.
"Who's that supposed to be?"
"Some guy named Sora," Boruto grinned clearly satisfied with his work. Sasuke mildly wondered what this Sora did to make Boruto so angry.
Wait, they couldn't be talking about the same Sora, could they?
Riku's gummiphone then rang. He quickly answered, "Hello?"
"Riku," Ienzo's face appeared, "We just picked up a disturbance in space-time. And we know it's important."
"Important how?" Riku asked.
"It's linked to Sora."
Sora, that name again.
"When we picked up the disturbance, we recorded it on our instruments and… well… we picked up Sora's voice as well," Ienzo looked a little embarrassed.
"Are you sure it was Sora?" Riku asked. He was curious as to why Ienzo looked embarrassed.
"I'm sure," Ienzo, then typed something on the gummiphone, "I'm sending you a recording. You might want to listen to this… you'll believe me when you do," Ienzo's face was looking more embarrassed. Riku raised an eyebrow, before clicking on the message and pressed play.

Kairi waited in the hospital room for Sakura. After Sakura healed her headache, she said they were going to run tests on Kairi. Kairi felt fine, but then again, they haven't seen her in years and probably wanted to know for a fact she was hurt.
She wasn't lying when she said she was okay, but then again Kairi had heard of victims not talking about their abuse, because they didn't want to be seen as victims.
Well, Kairi had nothing better to do at the moment. Except think about what to do next.
Kairi had been looking for her family for months. During that time, she tried to mentally prepare herself for the worst. That she couldn't find them, or if they didn't want her. Kairi was fully prepared for them to tell her, that they didn't want her in their life anymore; but that didn't happen.
They opened their arms. Held her close. Cried because they were so happy, she was home. She could barely see another person without getting a hug. These people still loved her.
Kairi was happy about that. She really was. However, what was she supposed to do now? Kairi had another life. She was a Keyblade Wielder. She had a home on the islands. She had to find Sora; could she really move back in with her family?
Did she want to?
Kairi got out of the bed to go look out the window. She hadn't thought this far ahead. She could barely keep herself together when she approached the stadium. She just told herself she'd cross that bridge, when she got to it. Now she was at the bridge but was she ready to cross.
Kairi heard the door open. She turned around curious, did Sakura come back.
"Well, what do you know. You really did come back from the dead," the person who entered the room, was a woman a couple years older than Kairi. She wore a bright green vest that Kairi knew most Shinobi wore. Her black hair was cut short, but curly. Her red eyes were bright and she had a grin that was a cross between friendly and mischievous. Kairi had no idea who this was. That didn't stop the ninja from crossing the room to get closer, "I still can't believe it. I thought you were dead. We all did, yet here you are."
"I'm sorry," Kairi didn't want to be rude, but she didn't understand who this girl was, "Do I know you?"
"I guess it was a long time ago, and I did get a haircut," she shrugged, "We were friends back in the day. Do you remember that?"
Kairi looked her over, trying to recognize her. They were friends? Kairi thought back, the only friend she remembered playing with was… Wait. Kairi looked her over again, the possibility starting to show on her face, "… Mirai?"
The ninja smiled, "You guessed it."
Kairi's eyes widened with realization, "No way… Mirai… Look at you. You're all grown up."
"And you're exactly the same," Mirai teased, "But I'm not just grown-up," Mirai pointed at her head band, "I'm a Chunin."
"Wow," Kairi said, impressed, "Way to go, but what are you doing here? Don't you have a mission?" After the attack the village was bound to be busy.
"Guarding you is my mission," Mirai explained.
"Say what now?"
"The injured daughter of the Hokage, gets special treatment."
Kairi frowned, "I'm not helpless," Kairi said, "I don't need a bodyguard."
"Yeah, sure," Mirai rolled her eyes, "I heard you overused your Byakugan and can't use it for a few days. What do you have now?"
Kairi summoned her Keyblade, so it was positioned at Mira's neck, "I have this."
Mirai took a step back to look at the weapon, "Whoa, what is that?"
"This is…" Kairi dismissed, "Mine!"
"Oh," Mirai leaned forward.
Kairi laughed, it was weird, but nice to reconnect with an old friend.
"So," Kairi walked over to her bed to sit on it, "You're a big bad Chunin now, huh?"
"I'll have you know I'm one of the top bodyguards," Mirai crossed her arms, "So you're in luck."
"Still don't think I need a protection detail," Kairi said.
Mirai looked down, "That's what you probably thought when Luxu took you."
"Hey, I was five," Kairi complained, "And I'm fine. I came, back didn't I?"
"You sound like Boruto," Mirai rolled her eyes. Kairi sighed. She then realized she needed to talk to Boruto about his cheating.
"Were you around Boruto when he grew up?" Kairi asked.
"I guess," Mirai said, "My Mom, trained your Mom when she was a Genin. So, they keep in touch."
Kairi looked down at her lap, "Does Boruto cheat like that often."
Mirai sighed, "I wouldn't say cheat. Boruto likes to take shortcuts. Don't get me wrong, he did great at the Academy. Well, in tests, but he got into trouble a lot."
Kairi looked up, "What kind of trouble?"
"Well," Mirai looked away nervously. Kairi felt her suspicion rise.
"What kind of trouble did Boruto get in, Mirai?" Kairi asked again, anger evident in her voice.
Mirai laughed nervously, "Well… on his very first day at the Academy…" Mirai paused before answering as quickly as she could, "He crashed a train into Lord Seventh's stone face."
Kairi's eye twitched, "He did what?"
"Well, they did fix it, but Boruto might have painted graffiti on it afterwards."
That did not help calm Kairi down, "Oh… Boruto and I are going to have a long conversation later," Kairi stated.
Mirai laughed a little. Then Sakura came in, "Kairi, time for those test."
"Okay," Kairi stood up, "See you, later Mirai."
"See ya," Mirai waved.

The recording of Sora's voice finished playing, leaving everyone in the Study stunned. Including Sasuke.
"That was Sora?"
Mickey just nodded, his face flushed from embarrassment, "That must had been a… private moment. No wonder Ienzo looked so nervous."
Riku was grinning ear to ear, "Well, look who's finally growing a pair. Good for him."
Now Sasuke understood why Boruto was so angry at Sora. He was Kairi's boyfriend. Sasuke stopped that train of thought and wondered, should he tell Naruto? On one hand, if Sarada had someone chasing her and Naruto knew, he definitely would want Naruto to tell him. On the other hand; knowing Naruto, the blonde Hokage was bound to not take the news of Kairi having a boyfriend well… and this could make Kairi hate him further. Unless…
"How does Kairi feel about him?"
"Oh please," Riku laughed, "Those two have been in love for years. Everyone knows it, except for them. But it looks like, it's finally gonna change."
That lead Sasuke to have his internal debate: Tell Naruto or not tell Naruto?
"So, you wish to learn of the Otsutsuki?" Yen Sid asked pulling Sasuke from his entertaining thoughts.
"That is correct," he would ask more about Sora later, "Long ago, Kaguya Otsutuki planted the Divine tree on our world to create chakra…" Sasuke told them about the Fourth Great Ninja War, how Kaguya was revived and how she almost destroyed their world.
"I see," Yen Sid said, "To think they could live that long imprisoned in such a seal."
"And there's more of them out there," Riku realized.
"We need to look into this," Mickey said.
"We know they're after the chakra of my world," Sasuke said, "So they will come for it."
"Indeed," Yen Sid said, "We'll need to have someone monitor your world and help defend it. It is part of the duty of the Keyblade Wielders."
"What about Kairi?" Sasuke thought of a quick solution, "She's one of you, isn't she?"
"She is, but she's still in training," Yen Sid said.
"Yeah, but it's still her Home World," Riku said, "I could stay with her if we want a Keyblade Master there."
"There's no need," Sasuke said, "Her father is one of the strongest in the world. He can help her defend it."
Riku opened his mouth to protest but stopped. He was right. Mickey saw Riku's expression and pulled him aside, "Is he that strong?"
Riku looked towards Sasuke, "Sasuke and Naruto are… I don't think I beat either of them one on one. And even if all of us Keyblade Masters teamed up, I don't think we would win easily. They took down two of them like it was nothing." It wasn't easy for Riku to admit there was someone stronger than him, but he did. He might had been a Master, but he was still wrong.
"Riku, we still need to look for Sora, and it would be good for Kairi to spend time with her family."
Riku did know that, but he also didn't want to leave Kairi alone, "Fine, but I'll still check in on Kairi every week or so."
"That's fair."
The two joined, "Alright, but I'm still going to check on Kairi every now and again."
"Fine," Sasuke said, "We'll keep in touch," Apparently Sasuke decided he was done and began to leave.
Riku began to follow him. Sasuke looked behind him with a questioned look.
"You can save me time with that Rinny- thing of yours."
"Rinnegan," Sasuke corrected, "And don't think I'll do it every time you ask."
Good thing I didn't ask.
As they walked through the tower, Sasuke decided to ask about Sora, "This Sora, he sounds…"
"Like a sap?" Riku asked, "Yeah, but he'd do anything for Kairi."
"I was going to Loser," Sasuke said, Riku glared into his back.
"Hey, I'm the only one allowed to call him a Loser. Kairi too, but that's another thing," Riku said.
"It seems Kairi inherited her Mother's taste in men," Sasuke observed. That surprised Riku, what made Sasuke think Sora and Kairi's Dad were similar?
Riku thought back to Kairi's Dad. He was strong, but so was Sora. He was kind, so was Sora. He had a childlike way about how he acted, like Sora… Wait? Was Kairi attracted to Sora because on a subconscious level he reminded her of his Dad?!
Riku quickly shoved that thought away. He didn't want to think about that.

"Hey, why are you playing that game? I thought we were cleaning Kairi's room?" The clone asked Boruto.
"Kairi's going to be at hospital for a few days and I'm allowed to take a short break."
"You've been playing for almost an hour!"
For about half a day, Boruto and his clones were trying to clean Kairi's old room. It needed more than just dusting. Kairi wasn't a little girl anymore. It needed a new bed, new furniture, new everything really.
"Boruto?" Boruto flinched when his mom's voice called through the door. If she found him playing a video game instead of cleaning Kairi's room, he'd be so dead. He quickly threw his game into his room and went back to cleaning.
"Yeah," the clone said smugly, "When Mom's around you actually work."
Boruto just shot him a look as his Mom entered the room. She looked around, "It's starting to look neater, but we do need to get new furniture."
"Yeah," Boruto agreed, "Kairi's way to big for this little girl stuff. How is she doing?"
"She's fine, she woke up," Hinata smiled.
"Really that's great."
"Why don't you go visit her," Hinata suggested, "She was worried about you. Go let her know you're okay."
"Sounds good to me," Boruto dismissed his clones and ran out of the house. He could finally talk to Kairi, without the world ending or being pressed for time. He couldn't wait.

Kairi laid down as the machine made its noise. The machine appeared to be the one's used for MRI's. Kairi wondered, for the hundredth if this was necessary. It felt like forever until it finally turned off and Kairi was moved out. She sat up. She never liked sitting still.
Aunt Sakura eventually came in.
"Do I have to do anything else?" Kairi asked.
"Not today," Sakura said, "You can go back to your room and rest. Someone will be by your room with dinner later."
"Alright," Kairi got up and left, "See you later Auntie."
Kairi rolled her shoulder as she entered her room. Those machines were so uncomfortable. She jumped startled when her door was slammed open. She turned around, and was nearly knocked to the ground, when something smaller and blonde slammed into her.
"Boruto!" Kairi steadied herself from her brother's hug, "Be careful, you shouldn't tackle people in a hospital."
Boruto jumped back with a grin, "Hey, didn't you fight the Otsutsuki? You can handle it?"
Kairi sighed. Apparently, her brother was a ball of energy. Still, she looked him over, placing her hands on his face and making him look up at her, "Are you hurt? Did Aunt Sakura look you over too?"
"I'm fine," Boruto grinned, "I'm one of the strongest guys around.
"That's good," Kairi's expression went from caring to stern, "That gives us time to talk."
Boruto flinched. At the moment Kairi looked like their mom, when she caught him playing video games when he shouldn't.
"Earlier, Mirai was here; and she told me… interesting stories about you," Kairi's hands did not leave their place on his face, "Like, how on your very first day at the Academy; you crashed a train into Dad's stone face," Boruto's face began to pale, "And when it was fixed, you painted graffiti on it."
"Uh," Boruto really hoped Kairi wouldn't hear about that, at least not yet, "I- uh…" In an instant, Kairi's hands curled into fists and began to drill into the sides of Boruto's head in a double noogie, "Ah, Kairi come on, it's not what you think. The train was an accident!"
"And the graffiti?" Kairi asked all to calmly as she continued the noogie, "How was the graffiti an accident?" Kairi only stopped to make Boruto look up at her again, "On top of all that you cheated."
"I know," Boruto admitted shamefully.
Kairi sighed, "Did you apologize to everyone you cheated?"
"I did."
"Your friend?"
"Yeah," Boruto said, "Shikadai and I talked it out."
Kairi was relieved to hear that they made up, "Good," she pointed to the bed, "Now sit. We're going to talk more about it."
Boruto groaned as he sat down, Kairi sat next to him.
"Alright, tell me. During the test, when did you cheat and why?"
Is this how siblings behave? I don't know, I'm an only child.
