A/N: Sorry for the slightly late update, was caught up with exams. It's over now!

This chapter, Weiss is back, and our resident Ice Queen is not happy... hahaha. Let me know what you think!

"You would not believe who I met at Coco's party last Friday," Blake said to Weiss as they headed towards the cafeteria for a quick lunch.

"Hmm.. was it Neptune?" Weiss asked, hoping that Blake wouldn't see through her to detect her tiny crush on him.

Blake smirked knowingly, shaking her head, "Surprisingly, no. I thought he would be at every party. Guess again. I'll give you a clue, it's a girl."

"Please don't tell me it's the blonde bimbo." Weiss deadpanned, exasperated.

"Actually… yes. Well, no. I mean... yes, I met Yang. But no, she's not a bimbo. Velvet even took a picture of us together for the school newsletter."

"Are you kidding me?! What in the world possessed you to allow yourself to be seen with that loud-mouthed buffoon, let alone agree to have that moment immortalised for the entire world to see?!" Several heads turned to look at the pair as Blake was momentarily paralysed with embarrassment from Weiss's outburst.

"I thought you wanted to keep a low profile," Weiss hissed at a noticeably lower volume.

"Calm down, Weiss! I was just helping Velvet out with her project, and it's just one picture. Why are you so worked up?"

"I am not worked up. I'm… concerned. I've already told you what I think of that narcissistic I'm-so-pretty-and-popular airhead. And don't you tell me it's just one picture, I've heard of the Strangers project. Once everyone reads the newsletter, you'll officially no longer be low-profile! You'll be noticed by anyone. Especially those little elves always prancing around that buffoon trying to get her attention. Have you thought about that Blake?" At this point, Blake could almost imagine Weiss as an agitated cat with her fur and hackles raised, ready to pounce at a moment's notice.

Blake felt anxiety start to creep up on her upon hearing Weiss' concern. Loathe as she was to admit, Weiss was right, as usual. She had not considered the possibility that people reading the newsletter would notice her and associate her with Yang - not that that itself was a bad thing, just the unwanted attention that would bring. Then again, do people even read the newsletter? I for one have never read it, Blake thought to herself.

Sensing her words making an impact on Blake, Weiss added softly, "Blake, even if people don't read the newsletter, I'm sure the obnoxious oaf would post it all over her Instagram and soon you'll be... quote unquote, famous."

Blake sighed, "Well it's too late to do anything about it now. We'll just have to wait and see…" They continued walking in troubled silence and reached the cafeteria in the Science faculty building. Most students at Beacon loved eating here as it had the most extensive range of foods to choose from. Blake's mouth watered slightly upon seeing the fresh tuna on display at the Japanese stall. There was no queue as well! It was her lucky day. She made a beeline for the stall while Weiss headed for the drinks stall.

Just as she was paying for her tuna sashimi set, Blake spotted a flash of blonde in her peripheral vision. Not daring to look directly in order to avoid drawing the person's attention (especially if said person was Yang), Blake angled her head ever so slightly to get a better look. Her heart sank. It was indeed Yang, but her fear of being spotted was unfounded. Even then, instead of relief, she felt her heart sink when she realised that Yang's attention was currently occupied by a blue-haired, attractive guy who she was chatting and laughing with… That has to be Neptune, based on Weiss' descriptions of him. Wait, why am I feeling upset? Am I… jealous? Blake, that's ridiculous. You aren't friends with her. She might not even care to talk to you now after the party. Blake tried to still her beating heart as she headed back to her seat. As she passed the duo who were queuing for hotdogs, she couldn't help but wonder if the main reason Weiss disliked Yang so much was because of the blonde's association with Neptune. Despite Weiss trying to act nonchalant and subtle about the matter, Blake could tell from Weiss' slightly flushed cheeks and increased inflections in her voice at each mention of Neptune that she did have a crush on him.

As Blake sat down at a corner table with Weiss, she decided not to mention who she just saw, knowing that the uptight girl would direct her frustrations at the situation by putting Yang down again. All Blake wanted was a quick, peaceful lunch before heading back to her dorm to start her research project on mental illnesses as part of her Abnormal Psychology module.

"-and that is why you should definitely hire me to be your junior sales representative this summer," Weiss said confidently, "What do you think Blake?"

Blake jerked out of her reverie, "Wait, what?"

"Blake!" Weiss huffed, annoyed, "I was practising for my interview with RealDex! It's for the summer attachment I was telling you about earlier. Were you even listening? I asked you for advice!"

"Oh… sorry Weiss. I was too distracted thinking about my work. Do you mind repeating that?"

"Oh alright…" Weiss' tone softened, "I understand how stressful it gets with multiple looming deadlines, and psychology is quite a demanding course. Thanks Blake, let's do a quick one."

The monochrome pair continued the next 10 minutes in intense discussion on how Weiss should improve on her interview skills. Weiss huffed when Blake pointed out that she could come across as haughty and arrogant at times, but reluctantly agreed that making a conscious effort to be more mindful of her tone would help her in getting hired. After they were finished, the pair parted ways and Blake headed to the university bus stop, waiting for the shuttle bus back to her dorm.
