Namine Arrives
Kairi age 3
"Grandpa Kakashi, pick me up," little Kairi held her arms up for the Hokage.
"Alright," Kakashi picked up the little girl, "Up you go."
"Kairi," Hinata said, "You know you're not supposed to ask Lord Sixth anything when he's at the office."
"It's alright," Kakashi said, "I don't mind."
"Well, I do," Hinata took Kairi from Kakashi, "Kairi, we came here to check on Daddy."
"Okay," Kairi said, "Where's Daddy?"
"He should be here soon, he has another mission."
"What mission?" Kairi asked.
"Sorry, Kairi, but it's a secret."
"Please tell me, I'm good at keeping secrets," Kairi whined. Kakashi rubbed her head.
"When you're older, I'll tell you all kinds of secrets."
Hinata took Kairi to the lobby.
"Grandpa Kakashi mean," Kairi pouted, "Won't tell me secret."
"Kairi," Hinata comforted, "Those are the rules. When you become a ninja yourself, you'll understand."
Kairi looked at her mother, "When I become a ninja, will I finally get Byakugan?"
"We'll see Kairi."
Finally, Naruto entered the building.
"Daddy!"
"Kairi, Hinata!"

"I'm gonna get'cha," Naruto crawled on the floor chasing a laughing Kairi. She ran under the table, where Naruto banged his head.
"Naruto, be careful, don't destroy the furniture!" Hinata scolded.
"Sorry, Hinata!"
"Sorry, Mommy!"
By that point Kairi was close enough, so Naruto pulled her into his arm, "Got'cha."
"No fair," Kairi whined.
There was a knock at the door, "I'll get it," Naruto released Kairi to go see who it was.
"Hm…" Hinata was looking through the cupboard, "Maybe there's some in the pantry," Hinata looked at Kairi, "Kairi, can you stay in your play area until your daddy or I come back?"
"Okay, Mommy," Kairi nodded.
"I'll be right back," Hinata left the room to the pantry to find the ingredients she wanted to make for dinner.
Kairi went over to her play area and pulled out her dolls.
"You have to go on a mission," Kairi made one of her dolls talk.
"Is it a secret mission?"
"Yes, don't tell anyone, because I said so-…" Kairi stopped when she heard a noise. She looked to see black stuff swirl around into a ball. When it vanished. A person in a black coat was left. Kairi couldn't see his face.
"What kind of jutsu was that?" Kairi asked the stranger.
His head moved and Kairi thought he was looking at her. He walked over and leaned down, "It's not a jutsu kiddo."
"Liar, you weren't there before," Kairi said, "Only a jutsu could do that."
"Well, I guess I know why'd you think that," the stranger said.
"Good, I found some," Mommy's voice came from the hall.
"Let's ask Mommy," Kairi got up and walked past him, "Mommy!"
Hinata turned the corner with a jar, "Yes Kairi?"
Kairi pointed behind her, "He said he didn't use a jutsu to get here?"
Hinata looked behind Kairi, "Who did dear?"
"It's…" Kairi looked to see the stranger was gone, "Where'd he go? He was just there."
"I'm sure they were Kairi," Hinata said, "But it is almost dinner time, so he must have gone home to eat dinner," Kairi must had been playing pretend.
Kairi pouted, he didn't even say goodbye!

Present Day
Namine looked up at the gates of the Hidden Leaf Village. She had been held hostage by an evil Organization, bent on universal destruction, but at that moment she had never felt more afraid!
"We're finally here," Riku said. He finally put her down, after carrying her kicking and screaming all the way.
Namine didn't respond, she just looked up at the village gates like it was going to eat her.
"Namine?" Riku tapped her shoulder.
Namine yelped in surprise.
"Namine, calm down."
"Why should I?" Namine asked, "Why are we here, I don't need to be in this specific town to look for Sora!"
"Because the people here, know other worlds exist," Riku explained, "And after what happened with the Otsutsuki, they're weary about us. We need to let them know, we're going to be using power they don't understand; but that power is harmless, and our intentions are benign."
Namine gave him a look that asked, 'how stupid do you think I am?'
"Okay, fine," Riku shrugged, "Namine, I think you should talk to them. Tell them you-…"
"Tell them I'm what, Riku?" Namine asked, "That I'm their daughter?" Namine crossed her arms, "I'm not! I wasn't born, my existence is an accident."
"Namine, it doesn't matter how you came to exist," Riku said.
"Riku," Namine sighed, "I'm not going to force them to see me as their daughter."
"I'm not saying you should," Riku said, "But Namine, you are Kairi's sister. And the Hokage is a really nice guy. I'm sure if you tell him, he'll-…"
"Riku," Namine interrupted again, "I'm here to find Sora. That's it," Namine didn't want to deal with this. Not now at the very least, "We… we can go in and explain that I'm Sora and Kairi's friend. That we're here looking for Sora and I have the power to find him. That I'm not here to hurt anyone!" Namine took in another deep breath, "We don't tell him about how, I used to be Kairi's Nobody."
"Namine-…"
"Riku! Promise me," Namine implored, her blues eyes wide with fear.
Riku sighed, "Fine, but are letting Kairi know we're here."
"Okay," Namine agreed.
"And we are talking to the Hokage first," Riku said.
Namine took in a deep breath, "Alright, that's fair."
"You sure?"
"I'm sure," Namine nodded determined, "We're just here to ask permission to search this world for Sora. I know I can handle that!"
Riku looked at Namine, "You sure?" He asked again.
"Yes, lead the way," Namine motioned to Riku.
"Okay," Riku lead Namine through the village. All the while she repeated the same phrase.
"I can handle this! I can handle this! I can handle this! I can handle this!"
Soon they were standing in front of Hokage Tower, "Alright, this is where the Hokage works," Riku looked at Namine again, her back was straight, her arms were crossed, and her face looked determined, "You ready?"
"Like I said," Namine said, "I can handle this."
"Okay, let's go," The two entered the buildings entrance.
5 seconds later.
"I can't believe Mom wants us to bring dad his lunch on our day off," Boruto whined as he and Kairi approached the entrance to the Hokage tower.
"You didn't have to come," Kairi reminded, "I could have-…"
"I CAN'T HANDLE THIS!" Suddenly a blur of white and yellow slammed into the two Uzumaki's as they were about to open the door.
"Ugh… what just hit me?" Boruto asked as he tried to get up, but something was weighing down on him.
"My head," Kairi moaned.
The thing weighing them down moaned as well. Boruto looked to see what was on them, it was a girl. She was older than him, maybe Kairi's age. She had blonde hair and blue eyes, and was wearing a white lace dress.
"Uh… hey, can you get off us?" Boruto asked.
The girl looked at him and realized she was on top of them. She quickly got off with a yelp, "Sorry! I didn't mean to I…" she trailed off when she looked at him more closely, "Boruto?"
"Huh? How do you know my name?" Boruto asked.
"You really do look like him," the girl just said.
"What's going…" Kairi sat up and saw the girl, "Namine?"
"Kairi," the girl said.
"Wait, she's Namine?" Boruto asked. Kairi told them Namine was the girl who had power over memory. It was thanks to her Kairi remembered them and started looking for them. She was the one who sent them the ice cream.
Kairi didn't pay attention to him, she was focused on Namine, "Namine what are you doing here?" Suddenly Kairi's face lit up, "Oh my God, did you come to meet them? Are you finally going to tell them everything?"
"Huh?" What was Kairi talking about.
"This is perfect?" Kairi said excited, "I can introduce you to Mom and Dad, and of course you just met Boruto, oh we gotta find Himawari. She's going to love you!"
"Kairi," Namine quickly said, "You got it all wrong, I'm here to-…"
"Oh, this is great," Kairi suddenly said, looking over Namine's shoulder, "Dad's on his way out. Hey Dad! Come me-…"
Namine suddenly jumped to her feet and sped past the two with a terrified squeal! The two turned their heads just in time to see Namine turn a corner at the gate and down the street.
"Uh…"
"Kairi!" Riku suddenly ran out the door, "Where's Namine?"
Boruto just pointed in the direction, "She just ran that way screaming."
"We need to find her," Kairi stood up and shoved the box into Boruto's hands, "Boruto give this to Dad."
"Wait, why do I have to do it?"
"Because I need to find Namine," Kairi explained.
"Is she really the girl that helped you remember?" Boruto asked.
"Yes, she is," Kairi pinched Boruto's nose, "Be nice to her when I bring her back, got it?"
"Got it," Boruto said. He was planning to be nice to her anyway. According to Kairi, Namine was captured and used by bad people most of her life. He wasn't going to be a jerk to someone who survived that.
"Good, Riku come on," Kairi and Riku then ran after Namine.
"Boruto?" Naruto exited the building, "What's going on? I thought I heard screaming."
"I honestly have no idea Dad," Boruto shrugged, "By the way, here's the lunch Mom made you."
%%%%%%
Namine ran as fast as she could down the street, all the while she was mentally yelling at herself.
You stupid, stupid, stupid coward! You were just going to introduce yourself as Kairi's friend! You need to use your power here to find Sora! Freaking out like this isn't going to help you find him!
She survived an Organization bent on world destruction, hordes of monsters, losing her physical form and regaining it. Why was it so hard to talk to her Dad?
No-no, he's not my Dad. He's the Dad of my original self! There's… there's a difference!
Namine slowed to a walk and groaned. Why couldn't the signal come from a different world?
Traverse Town? Halloween Town? Wonderland? Namine was perfectly fine investigating Wonderland! Any world was better than the one she was currently on. It wasn't good for her mental state or her physical heart.
"Namine!" Namine heard Kairi call. She sighed, she wasn't ready to deal with Kairi, she was so excited at the thought of introducing her to the family as her sister.
I'm okay, I just need to keep quiet and walk towards… Namine stopped when she remembered Kairi had the Byakugan.
"Oh, come on," Namine started running again, "Of all powers, she had to get super x-ray vision?"
%%%%%%%
"… and that's why we're here?" Riku explained as they ran after Namine. Kairi was using her Byakugan to find her.
"Okay, maybe I pushed just a little too hard," Kairi said, "but can you blame me."
"Namine made me promise not to tell anyone," Riku explained.
"I know, I promised too," Kairi said, "But I'm going to keep trying to talk her into talking to them. My parents have been great, I know they'll love Namine too."
"Kairi it has to be her choice."
"I know," Kairi said, "She's making a left," Kairi's eyes widened, "if she keeps going that way, she'll run into…"
%%%%%%
Namine ran into a market, "Excuse me, pardon me," she moved through the crowd. Trying to not hit anyone.
She ran past Thunder Burger, just as a certain team was leaving. Boruto landed next to them, "Hey Shikadai, did a girl with blond hair and a white dress run by?"
"Yeah, a few seconds ago actually, why?"
"Her name's Namine and she's one of Kairi's friends."
"Namine!" Kairi and Riku suddenly ran past them, "Wait a minute!"
"Well, this Namine sure is popular," Inojin said.
"Such is the curse of beauty, wait was that Riku?" Chocho asked.
"Kairi, wait for me," Boruto ran after his sister and friend.
"Well, this is bound to be interesting," Inojin said, "Let's go see what they're going to do."
"Yes, let's follow Riku," Chocho said.
"Man, this is a drag!" Shikadai relented but the team followed them anyway.
Sarada exited the small shop, carrying the groceries for dinner, "Vegetables are so expensive these days."
She stopped when an older girl ran past her. A few seconds later Kairi and Riku chased after her, "Namine!"
Then Boruto, "Hey Sarada!"
"Boruto?" Sarada asked, but he just continued chasing after his sister. Then the Ino-Shika-Cho trio.
"Sarada," Chocho said, "Help me catch Riku."
"What is… ugh… Wait for me!" Sarada ran after them.
"Since when did this turn into a game of tag, and everyone but me is it?"
Mitsuki heard a girl yell as she ran down the street. She was being chased by Kairi, Boruto, and nearly every other friend he had. Deciding to see what was going on he jumped down next to Boruto.
"Hello Boruto."
"Mitsuki!"
"What's going on?"
"Well, that girl's name is Namine, she's Kairi's friend, and apparently we're chasing her."
"Why?"
"I don't know, Kairi really wants to catch her though."
Namine saw a corner up ahead, maybe she could lose them, if she turned there. Namine turned onto the new street, but she collided with another body. A much larger one.
"Hey are you okay?" A man's voice asked.
Namine quickly stepped back, "I'm so sorry, I was running. I didn't see you-…"
"Hey it's okay, are you hurt?"
"No," Namine began as she looked up, "I'm…" she trailed off when she saw the man's face. Her face went red when she realized who she ran into.
"Namine," Kairi called when they turned the corner, "Wait, you're gonna… run into Dad."
"Kairi?" Naruto asked looking at his daughter, "Wait," he looked at the blond girl in front of him, "She's Namine. The Namine."
Namine could only squeak in response, "Yes."
"Yeah Dad," Kairi quickly said, "She's Namine, the one I told you about."
Naruto looked at the girl and smiled, "Finally I get to meet you," Naruto said, "Kairi told me so much about you, how you helped her remember us. You have no idea how grateful I am to you."
Namine was simply still. Her face was red as a tomato as she stared at him with huge blue eyes.
"Um…" Naruto reached out to her, "Are you alright?" When he tapped her shoulder, Namine just fell on her back.
"Ah Namine!" Kairi went to her side. Namine had passed out.
"Hey what's going on?" Riku and the Genin arrived to see Naruto and Kairi kneeling next to a passed out Namine.
"Is she alright?" Naruto panicked.
"Namine come on, it's not that big of a shock," Kairi fanned her.
Namine just moaned.
Namine passed out when she finally met Naruto. Just like Hinata used to do. Like mother like daughter.
Although I feel a little bad. I think I was mean to Namine in this chapter.
