Later when Robb Stark found the young Clegane he walked up to her. She was looking in wonder at the old keep in Winterfell, admiring the workmanship. Obviously awed by the great age the building had.

Stepping beside her and looking up he spoke, "Impressive isn't it."

She jumped a little then nodded, "Yes, it's amazing."

Extending his hand, "Robb Stark."

Placing hers in his, "Ataya Clegane." There was a sad smile, "You don't flinch."

"Why would I flinch?"

Taking her hand back with a sigh, "Nearly everyone does hearing the name Clegane." A slight shrug, "My father and uncle don't have the best reputations." It was frank and straightforward, "They have earned all of it and people don't know what to expect of me being the only female Clegane."

Ned Stark came up in time to hear this, "Many expectations can be dashed by you."

She curtsied, "I hope you mean in positive ways Lord Stark."

He smiled slightly, "There is good in all of us. Perhaps you will show the good of the Cleganes." After a moment, "I heard your uncle saved you from your father."

"Which time?" Seeing their looks of surprise. "My not so loving father has been trying to find a way to punish or kill me all of my life. Uncle Sandor has crossed him every time."

Lady Tarly called, "Ataya!" Seeing the girl turn, "Come child, your father will start his combat soon."

Turning back to the Stark men, "Family duty calls. Please excuse me." Then she crossed to Lady Tarly and both women left.

After the two disappeared into the crowd Robb turned to his father, "Will she be alright?"

There was a few moments of consideration before Ned answered, "I hope so." Turning to his son, "Ataya is strong, she has to be." A brief pressure on his sons shoulder and he left to return to his work as host.
