Author's Note: Thank you all for your reviews for last chapter! I was so delighted that so many people enjoy this story! And to think it all started with a spark of randomness with my best friend… Well, I've had two requests for people to be in the story. This one goes out to AnnaAurion123! Kiran came up with some good ideas, so I decided to use them. Thank you! I decided to write her chapter first since I just did the one with Kiran. I wrote this one without Michelle's help, so I hope it's okay. Next chapter will be for Freakyanimegal456. No, I didn't forget you, so fret not! It's just that I'm working on another multi-chapter fic as well as soccer and school, so please be patient with me. All right, time for the next chapter!

Disclaimer: I do not own ToS or any of its characters. I also do not own Kiran or Squishey's ghost (dun, dun, dun!). He belongs to AnnaAurion123.

Chapter 3: AnnaAurion123 Stole Yuan's Cape!

A/N: From here on out, I'm just gonna call AnnaAurion123 Anna. Okay?

After Yuan's near-death experience with Kiran stealing his cape and being haunted by Squishey's ghost (dun, dun, dun!) and the ghost cape, our favorite half-elf decides to retire to the Renegade Base in the Triet Desert for some peace and relaxation. (A/N: The last chapter took place near Flanior. I forgot to put that. Sorry!) He walks into his office and collapses in his cushioned chair with a tired sigh.

Botta walks in and grows concerned at seeing his boss looking like a herd of Wild Boars trampled him. "What's wrong, Yuan? You look exhausted." (A/N: Yes, I decided to revive Botta and stick him in here.)

"You'll never believe what's been happening," Yuan says. "All these crazy people have been trying to steal my cape! First it's Silvan Arrow's crazy friend Michelle, and then this girl Kiran stole it right from under my nose at the Flanior Base. I was lucky to get it back…or even live for that matter. Kiran makes Michelle look docile."

"Sounds like you have a rather large following of fangirls," Botta jokes. "But seriously, I can't understand why people would want to steal your cape. For crying out loud, you've had that old thing for 4000 years! You'd think that it would have rotted by now…or that you'd gotten a new one."

"NEVER!" Yuan cries, hugging his cape tighter around his shoulders. "I love my capey!"

Botta shakes his head in defeat. "Not to be rude, sir, but you're hopeless. What would Martel say about this?"

"Hey, she thought my cape was quite trendy," Yuan says defensively. "She tried to steal it a couple of times too. I think she succeeded…once." He shakes his head to try and clear his mind. "For now I'm just glad to be away from everything. I need some peace and quiet."

Peace and quiet? Ha! Not if this authoress has anything to say about it!

Just then a portal opens up in the middle of his office, and an all-too familiar girl jumps out and glomps Yuan, knocking him out of his chair. "Yuie! I missed you! I missed poking you even more!" She then immediately starts poking him.

"Kiran! Get off me!" Yuan cries, shoving her off and getting to his feet. After dusting himself off, he asks irritably, "What are you doing here?"

"Uh…to cause trouble?" she replies with an innocent grin.

Just then another portal opens up, and another girl walks out. She grabs Kiran by the shirt collar and restrains her from running over to Yuan and poking him. "Kiran, I told you to wait for me!"

"But you were being a slowpoke, Anna!" Kiran retorts.

"How did you get here?" Yuan asks in bewilderment.

Anna replies, "Well…Origin still owes me a mountain of Gald from a certain poker game, so it's either he either provides free teleportation until I get repaid, or I call all his Summon Spirit buddies to watch me beat the living daylights outta him." (A/N: To see what I mean, read From the Sky and From the Sky 2 by AnnaAurion123.)

"I…see…" Yuan replies with a sweat drop.

"HEY! LOOK OVER THERE! IT'S SQUISHEY'S GHOST!" Kiran suddenly screams, pointing at the other side of the room.

"WHAT? WHERE?" Yuan cries, looking around frantically and listening for the tell-tale chirping.

"AHA!" Anna exclaims triumphantly as she takes advantage of Yuan's distraction to pilfer the cape! "Mission accomplished! The deranged authoress of the breadcrumb universe strikes again!" (A/N: See AnnaAurion123's profile for the story behind that name.) She and Kiran share a high-five before dashing out of the office.

Yuan looks horrified, mouth agape, as he sees the two girls run off with his cape. When he finally overcomes the shock of having his cape stolen, he screams, "NOT AGAIN!" He then proceeds to pursue the cape snatchers.

Meanwhile, Botta has been standing in a corner watching the whole scene with a mixture of amusement, shock, and horror. He sweat drops as he sees his superior officer run off after his cape and mutters, "I…think I'll get back to work now."

Meanwhile, Yuan is racing across the Triet Desert in pursuit of Anna, who is proudly wearing Yuan's cape as a token of her accomplishment, and Kiran. His usual cape-snatched-induced mood swings kick in. "GIVE ME BACK MY CAPE!" he screams in his demonic voice. And yeah, he's forgotten during all this emotional trauma that he can fly.

"NEVER!" Anna and Kiran cry in unison.

At the same time this is going on, Kratos just happens to be walking through the area and sees the rather amusing scene unfolding before his eyes. He places his palm against his forehead and mutters, "Oh for the love of Martel, what has he gotten himself into this time?" Instead of intervening, he decides to hide out and watch.

Anna and Kiran make it to the city of Triet and frantically run through the streets, Yuan in hot pursuit. "DIE, CAPE THIEVES!" he yells. He then resorts to drastic measures by shooting fireballs from his hands, but the attacks are wild and unfocused and go in random directions. So while Anna and Kiran are untouched by the attacks, the rest of the citizens are running and screaming in fear for their lives. Finally he corners them in front of the town's oasis. Yuan demands between breaths, "Give…back…my cape…OR ELSE!"

Anna and Kiran look at each other and grin. "Okay, here ya go!" Anna chirps, taking off the cape and tossing it to Yuan, who immediately proceeds to huggle it. "We'll see ya later!" Just then, a portal opens up behind them, and they vanish into thin air.

While Yuan puts his cape back on, the citizens of Triet gather around him in an angry mob, complete with flaming torches and pitchforks, to get payback for the damage caused to their city. Yuan finally looks up and takes in the situation. He laughs nervously and says, "Hehehe…nice weather, isn't it?" The townspeople just send him death glares. "Hey! It wasn't my fault! Those crazy girls stole my cape!"

One man in the angry mob looks around and says, "I don't see any crazy girls, so don't try to blame this on someone else!" The rest of the angry mob shouts and raises their torches and/or pitchforks in the air. Yuan gulps, fearing for his life. Just then he looks down the street and sees Kratos watching the whole scene. "Hey, Kratos, help me out here!"

Kratos just shrugs and says his trademark phrase: "Blame your fate."

End chapter 3

Author's Note: HAHAHAHAHA! Yuan attacked by an angry mob! I had to improvise on some of Kiran's ideas, so I hope this wasn't too awful. Like I said, the next chapter will be for Freakyanimegal456, so stay tuned! I don't know exactly when I'll get it written, but I'll try to work on it soon. Please review and tell me what you think!
