Walking out of the school I think of a team that would be hard to beat for an experienced trainer.
"First off the old nightwing volcano." I say as Moon walks up to me.
"Why is there something important there?" She says in her head.
"Kinda a larvesta said to be born from the sun. that is the pokemon im after." I told her almost immediately.
"Oh sorry I was not talking to you but I'll go with you if you want." she says with a laugh.
"Fine let's get going." I say after leaving the cave.
After flying for a bit we have a nightwing from the volcano that leads us to the volcano passage. They would not go farther than that due to fear of their own life after barely escaping the lava the last time. "Thank you." We tell them as they run back out of the cave.
"Now I'm going to the foot of it so I can find a Larvesta burrow." I tell the moon as she looks around seeing the burned corpses of dragons all around her.
"How does this not affect you?" she asks.
"Hm? What the bones because they all have no names and I did not know them so why care." I tell her going above that cave's entrance.
"No names?! They were dragons like us living their lives." She said chasing after me.
"Look where I come from, nature kills thousands upon thousands of people a year and I can tell you about one of them when looking for a den." I tell her, closing my eyes. "Those are just things that come with living like this so just don't think about it ok kid." saying this brought the thought to my mind "im older than most dragons here even my so called older brother is 5 years younger than me." I think as Moon's face starts to change into a shocked and confused look.
"Wait, why can I read your mind now? And what do you mean by I'm only a kid, I'm 2 years away from being an adult." She says as I give her a deadpan look.
"Once again a my world thing." I say as I grab a dragon skull and pull the teeth out of it.
"Why would you do that?" she asks about to tear me apart limb to limb.
"Dragon fangs boost dragon type damage in pokemon." I say checking every recently dug hole.
"That is not a reason to grab them off dragons." She says starting to feel the heat.
"You want that story now?" I ask to try and get her mind off of it.
"Sure what is it? I'm sure it can't be that bad." She said still mad about the whole tooth thing.
"So one country called Germany had decided to team up with another super power called Soviet Russia together they would invade poland. After that Germany went on a rampage across the continent for years taking out many countries by force, they turned on the Russians and attacked them. All was grim till the allied powers launched an invasion against them, eventually winning the war." I told her as a brief history lesson on World War 2. Want to know why the war started?" I asked her.
"Yeah, what led them to war was the killing of a queen?" She tried to answer the question provided.
"Nope, one man not getting into art school led him down a path of military power when he became a tyrant." I tell her staring right into her eyes. "85 million people died in that war because of one man not liking a type of people." i say turning around and stepping into a pit that contained a Larvesta inside
"Larve!" it growled shooting fire out of its spikes to propel itself in the air.
"Wow, scary." I say as I jump out of the way of it shooting some fire at me. After dodging I threw a blue and yellow ball that the moon had not seen before.
"What was that ball?" she asks as it shakes once.
"A quick ball made out of some rock and apricots from the jungle." i sy as the ball shakes a second time.
"Can you show me how to make those later?"she asks as the ball shakes a third time.
"Nope, trade secret." I say with a wink as the ball clicks and makes a ding and I pick it up. "Now we are off to the caves of the jungle where my next pick sleeps in the ground." I say not being phased by the hall of bones we have to walk through again.
"I'm going home." Moon says trying not to throw up after the sight she saw.
"Cool, I'm taking this one with me." I say pointing at the Ferroseed in the ground.
"How did you see it?" Moon asks in the pitch black of the cave.
"I stepped on it." I say trying not to cry out in pain as I tap it with a ball.
"You ok you are bleeding quite a bit." Moon said as the ball clicked.
"I'll be fine, just let me grab that and get to the healer." I tell her as we walk out into the rainforest with a trail of blood behind me.
After Moon left to go to her mother I went to the healing chamber in the rainwing village where I met a dragon that was all pink and white with a Chansey sitting next to her. "Hi im Cherry Blossom and oh that's bad Chansey can you use Soft-Boiled?" She says with a smile as her partner sees the 3 inch hole in my hand slowly repair itself after eating the egg.
"Thanks doc I feel so much better after that and i don't feel hungry after that." I tell her as Chansey regrows a new egg.
"No problem anyway, are you going to the nightwing village?" she asks me as my pokemon some out of there balls and starts to mess around.
"No but I might go there. Do you know of any pokemon that live in that area?" I ask as dreepy comes and lands on my head.
"Not much, just Impadimp and psychic types mostly." She says as Larvitar picks up Ferroseed and starts to carry it around.
"Ah ok thanks for the information." I say as Larvesta starts to eat some fruit that was left out. "Wait where is my pokedex and why has it not been talking to me?" I think as I remember I left it at school.
"Ok you should be good to leave now." Cherry Blossom says with a smile.
"Ok well I'll take my leave." I tell her as I turn to my pokemon and hand dreepy the Dragon Fang. "ok guys lets get everyone back in there balls." I tell them as they all disappear into their balls.
As I walk out I just follow the string of thoughts thinking about eating some food soon and feeling as if i was being watched. "Hattrem!" I hear being called out as the sky turns dark red and a Hattrem apperres massive above the trees.
"Guess I can stop for a raid battle." I say as I see a skywing, sandwing, and an icewing fly towards it. As i fly towards it the other calls out there pokemon to start the battle and i from the sky throw out Larvitar.
"Go Arcanine!" I hear the skywing call out.
"Overqwil Go!" The sandwing shouts.
"Beartic Roar!" The icewing shouts as all four pokemon hit the field ready for a battle.
"Who does the Larvitar belong to?" the Skywing asks the others as I land behind them.
"Sorry he is Larvitar start off with Bite!" I shout to Larvitar as he charges in with his jaws wide open then clamping on its hat.
"Arcanine Stone Edge!" The skywing says as Hattrem puts up her shield.
"Overqwil Dark Pulse!" The sandwing shouts, almost breaking Hattrem's shield.
"Beartic Ice Fang" the Icewing calls out as the beartic breaks the shield dealing damage to the hattrem As it attacks back using psychic hitting Arcanine and Beartic.
"Larvitar finish with Bite!" I say readying a pokeball. As the hit connects and the hattrem weak I throw my ball as it connects first and it shrinks and goes into the Pokeball as soon as it does i can hear a click.
"Hm nice kid what's your name?" the Skywing asks as his arcanine walks up next to him
"Starshot and are you going to be in the tournament in jade mountain?" I asked the large skywing.
"Yep and if you are competing then i will not tell you my name due to it just being mysterious." the skywing said as the icewing turned to look at him displeased.
"Sorry about him, he is always like this. The name is Wes, the icewing is Dawn, and the obnoxious skywing is Flint." Wes said as the skywing looked at him with bright red eyes.
"Why Wes? Why would you do that? It was going to be all mysterious and cool!" Flint said, hovering over Wes as I went to pick up the stuff dropped by the pokemon.
"Hey if you want the pokemon we keep fighting keep dropping these disks we have no use for them but you look like you have seen them before." Dawn says handing me a case of disks resembling TM's.
"So you guys have just left these cool disks out to rot?" I say trying to sound surprised about what they are.
"Yeah and they take up pocket space so have them kid." Wes said as he took off heading back to the sandwing kingdom.
"What got him in a rush?" I ask Dawn as Flint was still livid about Wes.
"He has an Umbreon and Espyon where he lives so I guess he wants to get back to them." Dawn says as her beartic returns to its pokeball looking like it had been in the sun for to long.
"Ok well I'm going back to jade mountain so I'll see you guys in a week!" I say flying off towards home and my pokedex.
