"Home at last now what about you." I say picking up the pokedex as it glows slightly.
"New pokemon have been registered to your pokedex." It called out as I started to prepare for the dex entries. "Larvesta the torch pokemon. Larvesta are known for hiding in holes near volcanos and use the fire it shoots as a means to move faster when in danger." is says as it almost instantly moves to the next pokemon. "Ferroseed the thorn seed pokemon. Ferroseed is known to hide in dark caves and not move once they find a place to root." is said as I remember stepping on it. "Hattrem the serene pokemon. Hattrem tends to react negatively to strong emotion hitting whoever has a strong emotion of any kind." it says as i look at the dex checking my teams levels.
"Lets see Dreepy at 27, same with Larvitar, and Larvesta. Ferroseed and Htattrem are 23 and 25, the last is Magikarp at 19." I say as I think about the rest of the pokemon I want on my team for this tournament.
"Starshot! Come here and look at what happened!" I hear my name get called out by Kinkajou as I rush out with what I have on me.
"What's wrong, what happened?" I say as I see Kinkajou standing with her new Rosalia in her arms.
"Oh nothing is wrong, your pokemon evolved. Kinkajou, did you not pay attention in class?" I said as I walked off and back into my cave as I started to realize I am low on supplies.
"Starshot, what is evolution?" Kinkajou asked, tilting her head slightly as she asked the question.
"When a pokemon reaches a point in its strength it will change into a new form." I tell her as we walk to the shop that was run by some nightwings just down the mountain.
"Oh so that's what happened to Buddy?" Kinkajou says as I give her a stare for the name she gave it.
"Keep your names simple i guess." I say as Kinkajou gives me a look as if I could not do better.
"Why dont you name your pokemon Starshot?" Kinkajou asks, as I sit back for a second thinking of names.
"Fine then come on Dreepy you are getting a name." I say as Dreepy comes out of his pokeball. "Your name shall be Ichi ok?" I tell Dreepy as his eyes light up.
"Dreepy!" It shouts as it flies around me.
"Guess you like the name huh Ichi." I say as Kinkajou watches him
"Starshot, Kinkajou, what's with the noise?" Moon says walking towards our cave.
"Starshot just gave his Dreepy a name and it likes it that's all." Kinkajou says as Dreepy finally calms down.
"So Moon what's up?" I ask as she tells us about an announcement in the Prey Center.
"Sunny is revealing the bracket for the tournament and who all is in it so let's get going to find out who fights first." Moon said as we rushed out to see the bracket.
"Starshot." Kinkajou said as we keep running she starts to fly.
"Yeah what is it?" I ask as I start to run faster.
"If I lose you better win this for me." Kinkajou says, as Moon rolls her eyes.
"Knowing him he won't make it to the 2nd round." Moon said as we arrived.
"Oh god." "Him?" "Oh nice this will be easy." "What HIM!" could all be heard from some students reading the scrolls with the brackets.
Once I had gotten to the front and had a scroll in my hands I started to read it. "So I fight my brother first and he is one of the nightwing reps so it's not going to be easy." I think as I keep reading. "Winter vs. Firestorm, Quilbi vs. Shadowmover, Moon vs. Sunny, Turtle vs. Octopus, Kinkajou vs. Sora, and the fight I want to see is the highlight of the tournament Glory vs. Tsunami." I think to myself as I feel Kinkajou Land on top of me.
"Let's get going." She says as I agree and walk out of the Prey Center and back to my cave to grab my stuff.
After grabbing our things I fly out of the school heading to a place that holds my last team member. "Hey Kinkajou, how do you deal with the cold?" I ask her as I fly to the ice kingdom.
"Not well I can make it a bit in the ice but not long." She says as we reach the border.
"Ok you can wait here." I say patting her on the head as I fly up the mountain that holds my prize at the top.
"Hey!" She shouts at me but does not follow me.
"Now to get a sneasel." I think to myself as I see a white and purple pokemon out my eyesight.
"Wonder what it is?" I think as I throw my ball hitting it in the head. Almost instantly it breaks out and runs off with me close behind. "I thought I had sniper-like aim but guess it does not matter." I think pulling out a great ball I managed to learn how to make. As I close in on the small white dog I throw my ball hitting it again and this time after a few shakes it's caught.
"Zorua has been added to your pokedex!" I hear the pokedex say from my bag.
"Read me the pokedex entry please." I say picking up the ball.
"Zorua the Spiteful Fox pokemon. It is said that icewings that kill Zorua will have the regret of 1,000 years looming over them and their bloodline they can also make illusions out of hate." The poke dex says as I make it to Kinkajou.
"Hey Kinkajou, do you want to work on your team together?" I asked as she turned bright pink.
"Uh no thanks I got it on my own!" She says flying off faster than I ever saw her.
"Ok then i guess it's off to the fields of the skywing kingdom to do some grinding." I say to myself flying off into that direction. "Man i could go for some good food or like a pizza or something I'm starved." I think a little into my flight pushing it aside as I pass the mountains into the skywing kingdom. "Oh I should check Magikarp's xp!" I think as the pokedex reads out
"2,782 out of 3,000." the pokedex says as I Land in the palace of the skywing kingdom.
"Sir, what is your reason for being here?" A guard asks me.
"One to meet queen Ruby, and a dragon named Flint" I say as the guard checks his schedule.
"The queen can see you in 30 minutes if you can wait till then you are permitted to see her." the gaur says as Flint walks by the door looking more heated than ever.
"Thank you sir." I say as I walk inside the massive gate to see Flint freaking out with his Arcanine. "Flint you ok?" I ask as he stares at me from down the hallway.
"Keep out of this till I can find the little furball." He says as Growlith jumps on my back and runs off.
"You mean that pup that is over there?" I point out.
"Come here Clover!" Flint shouts as he runs up to the pup.
"Clover huh cute name." I say as he catches it and starts to walk off signaling me to follow him.
"It's my sister's Growlithe. It's been tradition that the royal family have a growlithe of some sort. I picked this form but my brother picked out a softer form." He said he opened a door to a bedroom. "Sis, I got Clover back." he says with a smile.
"Thank you brother, you're a lifesaver! Now Clover don't run off again ok?" The small dragonet says as Growlith lets out a little bark and sticks out its tongue.
"Now Flint I want to find a place to let my pokemon gain some good experience fighting." I ask as we leave the room.
"You could fight my cousin who is the current queen." He says as I tilt my head.
"Why her?" I ask as he just looks at me and laughs.
"Because I still beat her in battles so she is easy for you plus you do have a water type right?" He asks.
"Not really, I have a magikarp that is close to evolving." I say as he hands me a small blue square.
"You think that is enough for your insanely weak Magikarp?" He says with a laugh in his voice.
"Yep now what time is it?" I ask him as he looks outside.
"It's been about 10 minutes sense you got here, Star." Flint says as I smile and head off to the fountain in the palace courtyard.
Once I got there I let Magikarp go into the water as her golden scales reflected the setting sun. I fed it the blue block and heard from my pokedex "Magickarp has reached the threshold for evolution. Do you wish to evolve it?"
"Yes, I do wish to evolve it." I think as Magikarp has a blue light surrounding it. As it grows so large that it comes out of the fountain and is taller than me once I look at her she recoils a bit then looks towards me and as the light disappears she roars at me with its open jaw.
"Congratulations! Your magikarp has evolved into a Gyarados and learned Bite." My pokedex says as I pull out a case of TMs and give four of them to Gyarados containing Avalanche, Aqua Tail, Crunch, and Dragon Dance.
"Now to meet the queen and secure the next place for my future plans." I say as I recall Gyarados.
"Damn that's what you wanted out of it?" Flint says as he looked in shock at the fact that a weak pokemon could turn into that monster.
"Yep now show me the way to the throne room if you please." I ask him with a smug smile on my face.
"Sure whatever." he says as we walk to the throne room.
After we make it to the throne room and introductions are done I get to work on the main reason why I was there. "Queen Ruby I challenge you to a 2v2 Pokemon Battle with some stakes." I say as she looks down at me and smiles.
"Sure child we can fight, not that I won't win." She says with a smirk. "What do you wish to fight me for?"
"Your earring that you have just looks nice." I say as she smiles and grabs her pokemon.
"Go Magmar, and Arcanine!" she shouts as a normal Arcanine and magmar pop out of the balls she throws.
"Gyarados! Larvitar! take them down!" I shout as the 2 pokemon appear.
"Now both of you use Flamethrower!" she shouts as her pokemon attacks mine with larvitar being badly hurt by the attack.
"Larvitar Rock SLide in retaliation! Gyarados use Aqua Tail!" I shout as both pokemon unleash the attacks slamming her pokemon against the wall or collapsing.
"Magmar uses Smog on the Gyarados!" Ruby calls out as the damage is done I see Arcanine taken out from the hit.
"Gyarados Aqua Tail."! I shout as a roar comes out of Gyarados as it rushes down the barley standing Magmar.
After the quick battle I heard from the pokedex. "Larvitar can evolve. Evolve now?"
"Yes, evolve." Once I say that Larvitar encases itself in a cocoon that it uses for evolution.
"Well good job but I'm not giving you the earring." Ruby says as I just shrug.
"It's fine, I did not need it anyway." I say as she looks at me with a smirk.
"What was your true reason for being here?" Ruby says now with complete curiosity.
"Well if I don't get it now I'll get it when I win the tournament. I want a spot of land to build a building on for a project for future generations to help with relations and to unite all kingdoms for one goal. To Defeat the strongest trainer in the content or even the whole world if that matters. I will make the first Pokemon League." I say trying to appeal to the skywing queen for something I had been a player in for years, something that I as a human had to go into and defeat time after time. I pray that the same trick that worked on Glory of pure conversational skill will lead me to achieve my goal.
"Sure you can fly around the skywing kingdom, and find a place you find suitable. But I must come out to the location to judge if it is good for you to build or too much of a burden to be put there." Ruby said as she then pointed me to the door signaling to get out.
"Thank you, Queen Ruby." I say as I leave the throne room with Flint's jaw hanging on the ground.
"You got what you came for?" He said as we walked to the door.
"Yep guess my ability to give a speech still works." I said about to open the door.
"Hey, how did you do that when you are only 5 kid." Flint asked.
"Call it talent now I'm off to train, see you in a week or so Flint." I say flying into the night sky.
