About 6 days after that I had some intense training with my pokemon both as a dragon and a trainer. "Oh i never got the entries for my pokemon did I? Pokedex can you read off the new entries?" I thought as the
"Drakloak the Caretaker pokemon! Drakloak take care of the Dreepy on their head like a little sister or brother even if the Dreepy has no relation to them. They say if a Drakloak has two Dreepy it's close to evolving." The pokedex said as I had memories of meeting the Dreepy that Ichi had brought me who I named Ni. "Dragapult the Stealth pokemon! Dragapult are known to be protective of the Dreepy that live in the holes of their head, and let them have as much fun as possible till they evolve." The pokedex said as I remember when Ichi and Ni had brought me another Dreepy that I adopted and named San with the three of them merging into one being that I just called IchiNiSan. "Pupitar the Hard Shell pokemon! The pokemon under the shell has developed fully and will hatch from the shell when it eats enough biomass. Tyranitar the Armor pokemon! Tyranitar has a rage that can only be quelled after it eats enough metal or rock. Larvesta the Torch pokemon! It's said that if a Larvesta was to appear in the skywing kingdom then the Queen shall perish in the next 5 years due to a fire overdose. Zoroark the Baneful Fox pokemon! Zoroark are known to keep the things they care about safe including their cubs and trainer even at the cost of its own life. Ferrothorn the Thorn Pod pokemon! After evolving Ferrothorn are known to keep small spots in a cave or clif fertile for them to absorb nutrients." The pokedex said after about 15 minutes of reading the entries that I did not write.
"Ok stop this is a bit too much for me right now." I say as I get up from the ground only to be knocked back down by the weight of Ichi Sleeping on top of me. "For a ghost you are a heavy dude." I say as I walk out of the abandoned cave.
"Drag?" Ichi says as I put him back in his pokeball.
"Sleep well buddy, we have a big day ahead starting with a visit to the rainforest." I think I will start my 2 hour flight from my location to the rainforest.
Once I get there I'm met by a Rainwing introducing herself as Water Lily, a dark blue, indigo, and light green spots around her body. "You must be Starshot, the idiot who made this whole thing happen." She says with a smile.
"I did not force you to do this." I say with a calm voice before she gives me a look that says you're dead.
"I'm messing with you, but seriously if what I heard from Kinkajou is to be believed you are some dragon Starshot. She says with an evil grin on her face.
"What does that mean? What did she say?" I ask as Water Lily just smiles and flies off towards Jade mountain.
"Starshot you should get going soon, the opening ceremony will happen soon." Glory says as she walks up. Behind her with Deathbringer by her side.
"Ok then sis I'll be heading out now." I say as a joke flying off and looking back to see her pink and red trying to change back to her normal color.
"STARSHOT!" I hear be yelled out as a bright pink and light purple dragon tackles me out of the sky till I get my footing again. "I'm so glad you are back it's been super quiet without you. Even down at the pool nothing is happening." Kinkajou said as we started to fly to our dorms.
"Well I got a new pokemon, and one you might like this will be his punishment for being mean to the others so do what you want. Go Zoroark!" I say as the white fox with red tips on its hair looks at the bubbly Kinkajou, and recoils slightly.
"He is so cute awww!" Kinkajou says as Zoroark gets tackled and petted like a dog with the face of pure fear on his face as he tries to turn into something else.
"Ok now i have to hide the rest of my team till the battles start." I think as Zoroark makes an illusion and goes back into his pokeball.
After about an hour of walking around the school meeting up with the jade winglet, due to the platinum winglet having only me as a member we head to the grand opening of my proving grounds.
"Dragons, and Queens welcome to the very first Jade Mountain Pokemon Tournament!" Sunny said as loud as she could to the dragons and queens to focus the attention on her and kept going with her speech. "As you know Jade Mountain Academy is a school for dragons of all tribes to come and get along as dragons to improve relations among tribes, however that does not mean that we can't have any friendly competition between the tribes. As I asked you queens to bring one member of your tribe to be the representative of your tribe. Students all of you that have signed up have known the order but our new guests don't. So the battles will start tomorrow till then please enjoy the festival!" Sunny shouts as the crowd gives a cheer.
When I walk away with the rest of jade I hear Winter boasting about his ice type pokemon, and his new stone. The royal family got as a gift from an animus enchanted stone to give them this stone in some sort of jewelry, his being a ring he kept on his horn at all times. "Winter we get it you have a stone that cool and all but I don't think any of us care. Plus you don't even have a team of six like you said you only have 3 pokemon and publicly disclosed what they are." I say as winter starts up.
"Oh just because you have a team of six you act so high and mighty." Winter said, putting his cold hand on my shoulder.
"Oh he has this rea-" Kinkajou says before I cover her mouth with my hand so she does not spoil part of my team.
"Really good recipe for grilled fish." I say as Kinkajou just nods her head.
The rest of the winglet just looked at me as if I was insane for doing that until I had Flint pop up from behind me and start yelling. "Hey kid, how are you doing!"
"I'm fine, Flint, it's only been a week so chill." I say as the others look at the large skywing with the skywing of the group looks up at him then bows down.
"Prince Flint it is my pleasure to make your acquaintance." She says as the others look at him with some being royalty themselves.
"Carnelian get up, no need to bow, we are at a festival so enjoy yourself don't worry about the class system now." Flint says as the younger skywing gets up. "Now let's go have some fun before Dawn gets here!" Flint shouts as Dawn lands behind him.
"Oh so when I'm here there is no fun?" Dawn says as Flint turns to look at her.
"Oh no you just kill the mood." He says as she charges at him and he starts to run laughing.
"That's my friend for you." Me and Winter say as we give a massive sigh.
After about ten minutes of walking we split up into groups to enjoy the opening festival to the best we can. Most of the groups were made by moon so naturally I had been paired with Kinkajou again. Most of the day was basically me babysitting Kinkajou but she was acting weird for her. She kept getting closer until she basically was touching me even when we were in open spaces.
"Hey, can you help me get some food from the Prey Center?" I ask Kinkajou as she lights up.
"Sure what do you need?" She asks running ahead of me slightly.
"Lemons, mangos, and potatoes if there is any." I say as I head to the fish section.
"Ok I'll meet you at your dorm!" She says running off.
"Ok see you soon." I tell her as I start to pick out some food. " Lucky I could make a skillet out of an iron but I don't think it will last long" I think as I pull out the skillet being crooked and only slightly resembling one. "Ah there some salmon lucky that the icewings brought some." I say putting the skillet away and putting some fish in my bag and walking back to my room.
Once I got back to my room Kinkajou had already sat down with her stuff that I asked for and another rainwing. "Oh there he is now Tamrin!" Kinkajou says jumping up and down.
"Well hello I'm Starshot." I say as I get a fire started knowing her condition of being blind.
"Well you are the guy she keeps talking about." Tamrin says as I think back to what Glory said.
"Why do you keep talking about me to everyone?" I ask as Kinkajou goes into an invisible camo so I can see her.
"It's fine but you should get to what you were going to do. I'll be here waiting and talking to Kinkajou." Tamrin said as I smiled and started to cut up the Salmon.
"Thanks, I'll be done in about an hour." I say as I start cooking the fish. Once I was almost done I asked Kinkajou to go get the others and Flint and Dawn if she could find them.
Once I had plated the food and the others came into the room I had started to heat up the potatoes in a bowl, crushing them once they got soft and putting them in other bowls. The mangos I had asked for I had Winter reluctantly freeze and I put in a bowl of water to thaw out for later.
"Starshot, what is the reason for all this?" Moon asked with a hunger to eat the fish that smelled so enticing to her.
"I wanted to bring a dish from my home here so here is grilled salmon with lemon. You don't have to eat it with the lemon but it does make it better." I say as Winter just eats a whole lemon at once.
"Starshot, what are you trying to do kill us?!" Winter shouts as everyone else laughs.
"No fool, you just squeeze out the juice on the fish and eat the fish." I say as the Rainwings look at me with disappointment.
"What about us?" Kinkajou asks.
"I have for everyone i have some mashed potatoes and for you rainwings i have Freeze-dried Mangos." I say as Kinkajou grabs a slice and bites into it with a little crunch.
"Why is it so good!" She said as she started to eat some more from what I gave her.
"Tamrin, you want some?" I ask the rainwing as she nods and starts to eat.
"They are good thank you Starshot.'' she says as everyone starts eating. I sneak out and let my team have some food that I made for them.
"Guys tomorrow is the day you need to bring all your strength but pace yourself we might have to keep going for days till we all win so keep your stamina in mind that's all I have to say to you." I say as Tyranatar, and Zoroark settle with the trauma they were put through of being picked up, and used as a teddy bear by Sunny, and Kinkajou.
As I walk back in the cave the others all know I was gone but did not mention it as WInter was going on another rant about how great he was. "You are all going down in tomorrow's games. I Prince Winter will win this ordel and get back my honor!" Winter said not knowing what he said.
"Good on you bud but once you are done eating please leave so me and my boys can get some sleep." I say as Ichi floats into the room with Ni, and San not far behind.
"Ah so webs gave you his Dragapult then." Turtle said as Ichi landed and curled around my neck like a snake.
"No just a dreepy and it got stronger into him." I say as Ichi goes to sleep even with all the noise. After about 20 minutes everyone leaves and the day of preparation for my first fight against Deathbringer is over. Now it's just about winning to get my goal and start a new story that I can be proud of.
