I flew back to the battle with Glory and Moon to see that the battle next to them had wrapped up and all eyes were on the last pokemon of the battle. "Go Typhlosion." I hear Glory shout as her final pokemon walks onto the field. Over on Moon's side her pokemon was not like her, not something she would have on her team a Hydreigon that would not listen to her commands till Darkstalker had talked and then it moved.
"Hydreigon Earth Power!" Moon shouts with an echoing roar behind it.
"Typhlosion Is unable to battle Moonwatcher wins!" The Referee said with roars from the crowd and cheers from Kinkajou who at this time was jumping up and down at Moon's win.
"Hey Kinkajou, I have to fly off to the river to do my next match. Would you like to join me?" I ask as she nods and we fly to the river arena. "Did you see anything different about Moon?"
"No, I don't think so. well except the voice that was behind her." Kinkajou said as we landed at the arena and met Qibli who was ready to battle in the arena.
"Starshot I hope you are ready for our fight because I won't go easy on you." Qilbli shouted as we got in position. "Drapion, Toxtricity, and Krookodile you guys got this!" he says as his first three pokemon come out.
"Ok then Zoroark, Ferrothorn, Gyarados start us off." I say as they appear in that order left to right.
"Battle begins!" The referee shouts as all hell breaks loose on both fields.
"Ferrothorn Stealth Rock, Zoroark Shadow Ball, Gyarados Dragon Dance!" I command my pokemon as Ferrothorn spins, throwing out sharp rocks all around the field. Zoroark charges two purple balls in his hands rushing down Toxtricity before Qilbli could even start to speak commands.
"Crap Drapion X-Scissor! Krookodile use Brick Break on the Zoroark!" Qilbli shouted as I smiled. "What are you smiling about Starshot your Zoroark is done for!" He shouts as the move goes through Zoroark. "What how? I learned about Zoroark before. They are Dark type I even have seen a few before." Qilbli said, falling back.
"Zooooo!" Zoroark howled, pushing one of the shadow balls into Toxtricity's chest almost like another human-like fox from a show I used to watch.
"Damn Drapion, aim for Ferrothorn! Toxtricity use Thunder Punch on Gyarados!" Qilbli shouts as Drapion lunges forward, and Toxtricity recovers from the blow and rushes Gyarados.
"Ferrothorn block the Thunder Punch!" I shout as Ferrothorn moves to get in the way of Toxtricity.
"A massive blow that had little effect on Ferrothorn!" The referee shouted as the smoke cleared from the punch connecting. "Toxtricity is unable to battle. Qibli, send out your next pokemon!" The referee commanded.
"Tyrantrum Go!" Qibli shouted as I interrupted him.
"Gyarados Ice fang!" I call as the giant rex hits the field. "Ferrothorn use spikes!"
"Krookodile use Fire Fang on Ferrothorn! Drapion cover Tyrantrum then use Thunder Fang on Gyrados!" Qibli instructed his pokemon as they took action.
"Gyarados and Ferrothorn are unable to battle Starshot, send out your next pokemon."
"Tyranitar, Dragapult Take the field." I call out as the battle rages. "Now Tyranitar Stone Edge on Darpion! Dragapult Dragon Darts on Tyrantrum! Zoroark Focus Blast on toxtricity!" I commanded all of them to attack.
"Crap Dodge!" Qibli shouted too late as Ichi and San crashed into Tyrantrum, and Krookodile was Blasted across the field.
"Tyrantrum and Krookodile are unable to battle. Qibli send in your last two pokemon!" The referee shouted.
"I didn't think it would come down to this but. Go Aggron and Duraludon!" Qibli shouted as massive triceratops-like dinosaur covered in metal and a dragon that looked like a building fell to the ground. "It's over for you to know about Starshot. I hope you have a fun time somewhere that is not in the tournament. Duraludon Gigantamax!" He called as the pokemon grew larger to the size of a skyscraper. "Max Depletion!"
"Crap." I think to myself as the attack hits, knocking out Zoroark and Dragapult.
"Zoroark and Dragapult are unable to battle. Starshot send out your last pokemon." The referee called.
"Volcarona Go!" I called out releasing the moth to the field. "Volcarona use Fiery Dance on Aggron! Tyranitar use Earthquake!" I commanded as the Tyranitar shook the ground causing massive damage to Duraludon, Drapion, and Aggron. Volcarona's dance hit Aggron knocking it out cold.
"Drapion use Poison Fang on Volcarona!" Qibli calls out as the scorpion pokemon leaps up barely missing Volcarona. "Duraludon Max Depletion!" He calls as the attack envelopes both pokemon on my side of the field.
"Tyranitar, Volcarona can you still fight?!" I ask as I see them nod. "Man, you two are resilient. Now Tyranitar Dynamax and use Max Quake! Volcarona Fiery Dance the Duraludon!" I shouted as I called Tyranitar back into its ball to grow larger then through back out.
"Duraludon brace yourself!" Qibli shouted as the skyscraper of a pokemon fell to the ground on its side.
"Duraludon and Drapion are unable to battle. The winner of this round two match is Starshot" The referee shouted to the crowd as they erupted into cheering.
After the crowd had settled down Kinkajou jumped out of the seats and onto the field that was being rebuilt after the battle. "Starshot that battle was great, you have to show me how you do that!" she said, jumping on top of me.
"Kinkajou don't just jump on people!" I shout with Tyranitar, and Volcarona laughing in the background.
"Anyway, let's head back to the dorms. I'm hungry and want to know what you are cooking tonight!" Kinkajou says with a smile.
"What am I your personal chef?" I ask with an annoyed tone.
"Fair then want to go get some food at the stalls from the festival?" Kinkajou asked, turning a shade of pink I have never seen before.
"I'm down for that, let's go." I say not thinking about the color shifting.
"Oh my moons, is this like a date with him?" I hear Kinkajou say or at least think that's what she said.
"Hey Kinkajou, did you say something?" I ask, trying to get an answer.
"Nope!" She yelps turning light blue and a pale pink.
"Someone has to teach me rainwing colors and what they mean." I think to myself as we walk into the festival grounds.
"Oh Starshot, let's try the sushi from the seawing kingdom. Anemone has been bugging me to try it, apparently they have one made of fruits and seaweed." Kinkajou said, walking slightly in front of me.
"Ok sounds good though I could go for a California roll right now." I say thinking about the food back from my world.
"California roll?" Kinkajou asks, turning her head to the left slightly as we get in line to get the sushi.
"Oh yeah, it's named after the state in the US that was first made in California." I say as she grows even more confused. "I'll just make it for you one day, Kinkajou, but for now let's just get some sushi." I say as we order our food and fly off to a few other stalls.
"Ok Starshot now that it is just us you want to explain what the US is?" Kinkajou is now interested in the things I told her earlier.
"Only if you tell nobody else my secret, ok." I tell her as she nods affirmatively. "It's a Country from another world that I am from, and in this world humans, or I guess scavengers."
"You mean scavengers like killed all the dragons." Kinkajou asks with a horrified face.
"No dragons did not exist to start with." I say eating a grape. "Matter a fact this grape was about the size of my head when I was human. That whole world had this one as a book and the pokemon were separate from even that."
"It must be hard being away from your family." Kinkajou said, staring at my chest crying not to look me in the eye.
"No, my parents and little sister died when I was thirteen but I'm fifteen now." I say as Kinkajou thinks about how old I am compared to her. "I should say that one day here is like 3 of mine so if I put that I guess that makes me five here in this world."
"Well, do you want to start something with me then?" Kinkajou asked.
"Yeah I hope to start a journey with you one day after this, so you can help me reach the top, and I'm going to need someone to be there as a friend." I say as Kinkajou stands there with a pale white color slowly coming over her. "You ok Kinkajou, you're looking a bit pale."
"Ye-yeah I'm fine." Kinkajou said, sobbing slightly.
"Hey Kinkajou, if you need someone to talk to just tell me what's going on." I say as she starts to talk in a softer voice.
"There is this one guy I like and I want to tell him what I feel about him, but he is as dense as a rock." She says as I look at her with curiosity.
"Who is this guy because he sounds like a fool." I say with a scowl.
"He is kind and a good looking guy don't get me wrong but every time I make a move he never picks it up. I'm starting to think he just doesn't care" Kinkajou says, curling up into a ball.
"Kinkajou, trust me I will get him to realize your feelings." I say as she falls asleep in my arms. "Goodnight Kinkajou." I say putting her down, and leaving Zoroark to take care of her. I go to sleep on the other side of the room with Ichi, Ni, and San joining me in a moshpit of purple black and green.
