"Haha, can't catch me, slowpokes!" yelled Mikey as he ran ahead.

"Oh, you're on!" Leo replied, running after him.

"Guys, stay here!" Raph called after them. Seriously, why did this always happen?

Donnie found himself quickly lagging behind as all of his brothers sped up. "Guys, wait up!" Turning on the boosters on his tech bo, he sped towards his brothers, quickly catching up but accidentally overshooting and slamming into a wall.

"Classic Donnie," said Leo, catching up.

"Shut up, Leo," Donnie growled.

Raph was doing his best to keep from laughing. "Well, uh, I think we should get going."

"Patrol is booooring, though!" whined Mikey. "Why can't something exciting happen?"

Donnie brushed himself off. "Because exiting for us is normally really bad for the rest of New York," he deadpanned.

"True," says Leo. "But I'm with Mikey. Patrol is soooo boring."

"That's a good thing, you nitwit!" says Donnie. "Exiting means crime! What did I just say!"

Raph looked away from the classic Leo-Donnie squabble. He needed to stay focused on the mission, which was to patrol the city to see if there were any missions to be done. Basically a mission to find more missions.

Suddenly something sharp poked Raph in the leg. "What-" He looked down to see… a dart?

"Oh no," Donnie said. Leo stopped fighting with him to see what he was pointing at.

"What?" asked Mikey, looking around wildly.

"There." Donnie forced Mikey's head towards the 'Oh no'.

Ninjas?!

Suddenly the air was filled with darts like the one that had hit Raph.

"Run!" he yelled.

But it was too late. His brothers were all hit with multiple darts, and they were out on the floor. A few more hit Raph, and he was out too.

As his vision faded out, he saw some shadowy figures dressed in black.

"We got them!"

And then he was out.

A/N: Okay I know this is short but I promise the next chapter will be longer. About when the next chapter will be here I'm not sure, though. Probably tomorrow.
