A/N: So, I dissapeared for almost two months. And I almost quit writing this. It's been a ride. I've been doing stuff. I stopped cutting myself, so thats a plus. But, uh, here I am. I'm back. With another chapter. The one you've all been waiting for. RESCUE TIME! I'll stop holding you up, let's go!

"Are you sure this'll work?" April was standing precariously on top of the parapet of the building across from the Hell Hole. Splinter stood next to her, deep in thought. He had binoculars pressed to his eyes, leaning forward. April had no idea what the hell they were doing.

"Yes, April. Of course this'll work. This plan is flawless!" Splinter didn't look away from whatever he was looking at with his binoculars for even a second.

"What plan! If I recall correctly, you said, and I quote, 'we bust in and wing it'. That is NOT a plan!" April yelled.

"Shh, April! You're distracting me," said Splinter, pushing the binoculars harder against his eyes.

"What are you even looking at, anyway," April asked indignantly.

"That guy is watching tv in his apartment!" Splinter watches the tiny little figures through his binoculars, laughing at the slapstick joke on the screen. Suddenly, his binoculars were plummeting towards the floor. They landed on the sidewalk in two pieces. His binoculars were broken, but more importantly, HE COULD NO LONGER WATCH THE SHOW! "HEY!" Splinter exclaimed.

"Focus, Splints!" April yelled. "Remember: Why are we here?"

"Ummm… to get my kids back!" said Splinter with renewed vigor.

April rolled her eyes. The things I have to do to keep us on track…, she thought. "Yes, Splints, EXACTLY. NOW, let's do that!"

"Right!"

"Okay, so… we need a plan. A real one," April said. Splinter nodded.

Splinter retrieved the blueprint from his robe. He unrolled it on the floor next to them. "So, we'll enter here, go up here, beat up the guards, steal their clothes, walk along the halls checking in every room until we find a turtle, beat up some more guards, and escape back the way we came."

April shrugged at the vague plan. "Better than winging it. Okay, let's go!"

(A/N I am so sorry I'm terrible at writing action scenes so I skipped it. Sorry. I'm lazy. Sorry. Sorry. Please bear with me and my terrible writing XD)

Bam! April kicked down the door to the torture room. Or tried to. She just ended up with a sore foot. But nevertheless she yelled, "Mikey! We're coming to get you!"

Mikey couldn't believe his ears. That voice sounded like… April? Part of him thought it was his imagination, but that still left the part of him that had hope that it was real. He was being rescued!

He heard the door being opened. There was the sound of a tussel outside, and then the hood was ripped off of Mikey. The sight that met his eyes almost made him cry with happiness.

It was April and Pops, with an unconscious Frithjof on the ground.

Scratch that, he did cry with happiness.

He embraced his family. "I thought I'd never see you again…" he said through tears.

April and Pops hugged him back. "I know… I know…shh…" said April, patting him on the back.

(A/N: Yes, I made a Hamilton reference. Shut up.)

"Dad…" sobbed Mikey, "Dad, I missed you so much… I thought I'd be alone forever…"

April and Pops just kneeled there with him, embracing him and letting him cry.

When Mikey was done crying, they stood up. "Have you gotten my brothers yet?" he asked.

"No, you're the first one. We need to get the others." April looked him up and down, eyeing his bruised and burned body. "...Can you walk?"

Mikey took a step and nodded.

"Okay! Let's go!" said Pops.

Donnie paced around the blindingly white room. He didn't know how long it had been. His stomach ached with hunger and he was shivering in the cold, so it must have been a while. Everything was empty. THere was nothing to feel, see, smell, hear, or taste. He almost relished the pain from his cuts and bruises, as well as the pain from the hunger. Donnie stopped himself. That was not a good path to fall down. Stop it, he told himself.

He had spent ages looking for a weak spot on the door and walls, but no dice. So now he was trying not to panic… again.

Tears pricked the corners of his eyes, but he refused to let them fall. Even though he couldn't see anyone, he knew he was probably being watched through some hidden or even invisible cameras. He wasn't going to let them have the satisfaction of seeing him cry… again.

Donnie wracked his brain for an idea that might get him out of this hell hole, but he came up empty. He had nothing.

Maybe he… was nothing.

NOPE. He was NOT going back down that mental path. He would stay strong. He was fine.

He was not fine.

Donnie finally curled up in a ball on the floor. He just wanted out. He wanted out so, so bad.

Then he heard voices outside his door.

And then the door was opened.

And Donnie wasn't alone anymore.

At first he thought he was hallucinating. But no, April, Mikey, and Dad rushed up and hugged him, and he knew there was no mistaking it. They were here, and he was going to escape!

"DONNIE!" Mikey yelled with tears in his eyes. Donnie squeezed him in his arms. Mikey was crying, and Donnie was doing his best not to cry. He knew time was of the essence, and if he started to cry he didn't know how long it would take for him to stop.

"Michel… Mikey, I love you so much," he whispered into Mikey's ear-slit. Donnie pulled away from the group hug and looked his family up and down, making sure they were alright. April was fine, of course Pops was too, but Mikey was covered with bruises and cuts, along with the burns they had all received from being shocked so many times. "Mikey! Are you okay? You need medical attention!"

Mikey scoffed. "Hypocrite. You seen yourself?"

Donnie looked down. "Oh yeah… but that's from like two days ago, last time I saw you you were fine, those are recent!" Donnie gestured to Mikey's injuries.

April laughed at her friend's conversation. But they needed to move along, so she interjected. "You BOTH need medical attention. Now let's get going."

"Sure, but can Mikey fight in his condition?" Donnie protested.

"Can you?" April retorted. "C'mon, you mother hen. And take off those weird white clothes."

Donnie blushed as he ripped off the clothes. "I am not a mother hen!"

April ignored him and pulled Mikey and Donnie along behind her. She took a few steps before remembering Splinter, who was looking around absentmindedly.

"SPLINTS!" she yelled.

Splinter jumped. "Right, yes, getting a move on, let's go!"

Leo's room was next in line.

Leo sat blankly on the floor. He had no idea how much time had passed since Phobus came and went. Leo supposed he got it off easy with solitary. Phobus probably had something much worse planned but decided against it… for obvious reasons. He probably just couldn't hold himself together anymore.

The room was so quiet.

Leo hated the quiet.

"So…," he said aloud. "This is very boring." He tapped on the floor with his hands and bounced his leg. He hated being still and quiet.

But wait, who was stopping him?

With this realization, Leo hopped up and paced in a circle to get rid of his excess energy. But he was still bored with no one to talk to.

Why not talk to himself?

"So… Leo…," he started. "What are we gonna talk about? I have food on my mind. What's your favorite food?" The room stayed silent for a second before Leo remembered he had to respond, too.

"Uh, my favorite food is pizza, Leo."

"Wow, what a coincidence Leo, mine too!"

"What, for real Leo?"

"Yeah, Leo, for real!"

"That's cool Leo."

"Yeah, it is…"

"This conversation isn't really going anywhere, bro."

"...Yeah…"

Leo sat down on the floor again, silently sitting with himself for a second.

"Hey Leo, I miss my brothers."

Leo sighed. "Me too."

"I wonder when we'll see each other again… Maybe never."

"Don't think like that Leo," he scolded himself. "Remember, April and Pops are totally awesome, they'll be able to find us."

"That's right, just rely on them to bail you out, like always. Just sit there and be useless."

Leo furrowed his brow. Or, brow muscles, since he didn't technically have eyebrows. "Hey, shut up Leo, when did you get so rude?!"

"Oh, I'm rude now, am I? I'm only telling the truth. They'll probably kick you off after this. You probably could've done something to stop you and your bros from being kidnapped. But you didn't, you useless little-"

"HEY!" Leo yelled. "Woah, did I just interrupt myself? I didn't know that was possible!"

"Look, you got distracted again, like you always do! You can never pay attention for more than a millisecond Leo, and you're always moving and talking and bouncing your leg or something and that's why all your brothers think you're annoying!" Leo yelled at himself. He was now on the verge of crying. "Oh look at yourself Leo, you had an entire conversation with yourself and brought yourself to tears! How dumb is that…"

Leo wiped his eyes before the tears fell. He knew his worries were stupid. His brothers had reassured him multiple times that they loved him and would never kick him out for being annoying or useless. He just worried anyway…

He really wanted to see his brothers again, and April, and even Pops, no matter how neglectful Pops usually was.

Leo lay on the ground, quiet and still for once.

CRASH!

Leo jumped up, screaming bloody murder, before he saw what made the sound.

It was April, Pops, Mikey, and Donnie, bashing the door in.

In about a millisecond, Leo was surrounded by his family, and he was safe. But only for a second.

"Where's Raph?" he asked immediately.

"Well, that was quick," commented Donnie. "Raph is next, we got to you first."

Leo looked at his family incredulously. "Then what are we standing around for? Let's go!"

Mikey shook his head. "Wait one second, Leon. Are you okay?"

"Uh yeah, are you? And Donnie? You both look messed up."

Donnie sighed in his typical sarcastic Donnie fashion. "I'm fine, Michel needs medical attention but we need to get out of here, and who knows what they're doing to Raph right now, let's get going."

"Donnie you are not fine," says April, "but yeah, everything else he said is right, we should get a move on."

Pops gave Leo one last squeeze before he let go and they walked out of the room.

Raph sat quietly in the corner of his room. He was freaking out, but you wouldn't know it by looking at him.

The door creaked open. Ozul stepped in. "Hey Raphael. How's life? I don't care. I'm so tired. Anyway, your new torture has arrived. I'm basically running this operation now, so you get to watch the show."

The television screens in the corner of the room flickered on. Raph squinted at the pictures. It was… it was his brothers!

On one screen was Donnie, sitting in an empty room, wearing all white for some reason. He was shivering and pacing around.

On another was Leo, who was talking to Phobus.

And Mikey, slumped on the floor of his chamber, still asleep.

Raph closed his eyes. He didn't want to see this.

He opened them. But he had to.

Raph's chest exploded with anxiety. His instincts were going crazy, screaming at him to GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT and to HELP THEM PROTECT THEM KEEP THEM SAFE.

Raph stopped pounding on the walls. Wait, when did he start? His knuckles were sore and bruised from all the times he'd tried to get out. What else could he do?

"Wow," said Ozul, who Raph had forgotten was there. "That was interesting. I'm so damn tired." Raph heard running in the halls. "Oop, who's that? Probably Phobus." He glanced at the screens. "Yep, that was Phobus. I'll give him a minute then I'll go check on him. Anyway, bye. I'm so tired."

Raph avoided looking at the screens, until Frithjof came into Mikey's room. Mikey was strapped to a chair, with a hood thing over his head. Frithjof started hitting Mikey!

Raph exploded with anger. THEY WERE HURTING HIS BABY BROTHER! NO ONE COULD HURT HIS BABY BROTHER!

In his angry haze, he almost missed April and Splinter busting down the door to Mikey's room. But when he realized what was happening, he almost broke down in tears.

(Scratch that. He did break down in tears. But don't tell anybody.)

Tears of happiness and relief rolled down his cheeks as he watched his brothers get saved, one by one.

Raph had barely composed himself when April, Splinter and his brothers came in.

His family.

"Raph! Raph, I can't breathe!" said a voice. Raph realized it was Donnie. He let them go from the hug he didn't know he had put them in. His family all breathed a sigh. Mikey, April and Splinter were in tears, and Donnie and Leo were clearly struggling not to break down. Raph realized he was crying too, and scooped his family back into another hug, this time careful not to squeeze too hard.

They were saved.

A/N: I like the beginning of this chapter, as well as the whole secquence of Leo having a conversation with himself. That was fun to write.

I don't hate this chapter. I used the phrase 'scratch that' twice, but that doesn't really matter does it? Also, I think I gave Leo ADHD.

So, about the next chapter. I don't know when it'll come out, or if at all. I like where this ends. When I originally wrote this, I was planning to write the emotional fallout from such a traumatic experience. But, I don't have a real plan for it, and that's gonna be really hard to write. I know this story has like seven followers, so if you guys could tell me if you like this ending that'd be nice. I might write an epiolouge, but I think this might be the end. It was fun while it lasted, but it's time I wrote something else, because I have a list of 150+ ideas that I will never get around to if I forver stay on this fic, always procrastinating about the next chapter. Go read some other people's fanfics. Read the one that inspired this one, I think it's called 'Broken Spirits', it's a TMNT fic about torture like this one. I forgot who wrote it, it's been a while. Sorry, this isn't very helpful. Someone in the reviews should find that fic and put a link in thier review. Idk. I need to end this.

Goodbye, dear readers. It's been fun. Okay I love you buh bye! I have the honor to be you obediant servant,

I MEAN duzmachines84, yes, that was definitly not a Hamilton refrence, kay bye
